- According to Vedic culture, the king is honored as the Supreme Personality of Godhead because he represents Narayana, who also gives protection to the citizens. He is therefore natha, or the proprietor
- Although God is here, still, he'll not accept. That is mudha, naradhama. And why he's mudha? Because naradhama. He does not take the process. He wants to manufacture something. Don't do that
- Although He (the Supreme Personality of Godhead) is the oldest of all living entities, He has His eternal form as a fresh youth. The exact words used in this connection in the Srimad-Bhagavatam (10.2.35) are vijnanam ajnana-bhidapamarjanam
- Although the Lord acts within time, whether sattva-guna, rajo-guna or tamo-guna is prominent, one should not think that the Lord is under time's control. Time is within His control, for He creates time to act in a certain way
- Although the Supreme Personality of Godhead is very difficult to approach, He is very near to us because He lives within our hearts. As soon as God understands that one is seeking His favor by fully surrendering, naturally He immediately takes action
- Although we are very anxious to get good positions in the government service, we do not stop to think of getting a position in God's service. God is the government of all governments
- Anandamayo 'bhyasat: the Lord is by nature full of transcendental happiness
- Ananta-sayana sleeps on the bed of Sesa Naga, who has a form like a serpent but is identical with the Lord. Because He sleeps on a serpent bed, the Lord is also known as Naga-sayana
- As God is full of joy, similarly, we are also part and parcel of God; we are also full of joy. So we have to treat ourself how to go that platform of joyfulness
- As stated in Bhagavad-gita, the Lord is equal to everyone (samo 'ham sarva-bhutesu (BG 9.29)), but to one who particularly engages in His service, He is very much inclined
- As the devotee is always anxious to render service to the Lord, so the Lord is ever anxious to render service to the devotee
- Atmosphere of this country is so surcharged that you cannot receive the sunshine properly, but the sunshine distributes its shining everywhere the same. Similarly, according to the country, according to the circumstances God is manifested differently
B
- Because God is sac-cid-ananda-vigraha (BS 5.1) - He's all-pleasure - therefore, without many, there is no pleasure. Just like here I sit down the whole day alone, but I become more active and more pleasing when you come
- Bhagavata-dharma means it is scientific knowledge. It is not sentiment. Religion without philosophical understanding is sentiment. And philosophy without understanding of God is mental speculation
- Brahman, who is greater than the greatest, is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. He is full in six opulences, and therefore He is the reservoir of ultimate truth and absolute knowledge
D
- Daiva means godly. You may arrange everything, but if God is against you, in spite of your all arrangement, everything will be failure. That is described in the Bhagavad-gita
- Demons always think that the God of the devotees is fictitious. They think that there is no God and that the so-called religious feeling of devotion to God is but an opiate, a kind of illusion, like the illusions derived from LSD and opium
- Devotees never advertise themselves as great, but the Lord is very anxious to advertise the glory of His devotees
E
- Even if He (God) is visible in the material world, the exhibition is only of His internal energy, for He is above the good and bad conceptions of this material world
- Even though we now seem neglected by the Lord, He is actually always alert to our activities. Under all circumstances, therefore, we should simply depend on the supremacy of the Supreme Personality of Godhead & revive our intimate relationship with Him
F
- For the Supreme Lord there are no friends, enemies or relatives, for He is completely free from all the disqualifications of ignorance that characterize the conditioned souls
- Fruit, flowers and water can be secured practically in any part of the world by any man, poor or rich, and can be offered. We should remember then that it is not vegetarianism which is important, nor is it that God is in need of anything
G
- God created this world, and He is true, so how can His creation be false? Because this is the creation of God, and God is the AT, this creation is also true. We simply see it otherwise due to illusion. The world is a fact, but it is a temporary fact
- God has only one son - Why? God one son? I asked the priest, that "God is limited or unlimited?" "Oh, unlimited." "Then why should you limit it by one son?" He could not answer
- God is accepted, not now, even when Krsna was present, five thousand years ago, all great sages, saintly persons, great rsis, they also accepted. Narada, Devala, Vyasa
- God is also canvassing us, - My dear sons, why you are unnecessarily traveling here and making plans to be happy here, nonsense place? You just surrender unto Me. I shall give you all protection
- God is explaining Himself personally, and He is accepted by authorities, not only in days of yore, formerly, but recently within five hundred, seven hundred years
- God is full. We should not think that "God is depending upon my this little flower or fruit. When I shall offer fruit and He'll satisfy His hunger." No. He's purnam. But the qualification is that offering should be in love, in devotion. That He accepts
- God is giving them sufficient grains, sufficient fruits, sufficient vegetables, sufficient milk. No, they want to make solution of their problems by killing other poor animals
- God is indefinable, but when He comes before you as He is, then it is definable. God is indefinable, that's all right. But if He is so pleased to reveal Himself, then He is definable because He is defining Himself
- God is indefinable, that is a fact, but when you take the definition given by God, then it is easy
- God is liberated, and He tries to make us liberated, but although He is constantly trying, we refuse to accept His instructions (sarva-dharman parityajya mam ekam saranam vraja) - BG 18.66
- God is like me also. But He is profuse, unlimited, I am limited. But the same qualities are there." Same qualities. Otherwise, how can you get it? The part and parcel of gold is gold, but that is not whole gold
- God is neither Hindu nor Muslim nor Christian. God is God. God is one. But according to time and climate, condition, the method of approaching God may be different, but the ultimate end is how to love God or how to serve God
- God is noting down that - This soul is very much fond of fresh blood and raw meat. All right. You take the body of a tiger. Yes - This soul feels pleasure being naked. All right, you take the body of a tree. You stand up naked for ten thousand years
- God is the prime living entity of the entire material and spiritual creation and is bhuvanaika-vandyam, the only worshipable personality in the three worlds. The airplanes in the spiritual sky are self-illuminated and are piloted by His great devotees
- God is there, but because we cannot realize, therefore somebody is saying, "God has no form," "There is no God," "God is dead," "God is impersonal," "God is void." That means they have no actually knowledge what is God
- God is there. There is no doubt of it, but because, due to our foolishness, we think there is no God, there is no father, that is our foolishness. But what is that God, how He is, what is His business, how He is formed - all these things we want to learn
- God, give us our daily bread. That's all right. God is giving daily bread. Why you are asking, bothering God? He is supplying food to millions and trillions of living entities, and why not to you? He'll also supply
H
- He (Atri Muni) was certain, of course, that not all of them (Visnu, Brahma or Siva) could be the Lord, but the Lord of the universe was one of the three
- He (God) is also the companion of every living entity as the Supersoul, but He is unchanged
- He (God) is full of all energies, He is all-pervasive in spite of His residing in Goloka Vrndavana, just as the sun, although situated in a particular place within the universe, is present by its sunshine throughout the universe
- He (God) is full of joy. So we, as part and parcel also, we are full of joy. So unless we come in contact with the Supreme, our joyfulness will never be fulfilled
- He (God) is not only within the universe, but within the atoms also. He is within the heart of every living entity. Garbhodakasayi Visnu, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, entered into everything
- He (God) is separate from everything, and still nothing is different from Him
- He (God) is simultaneously personal and impersonal by His inconceivable potency, or He is the one without a second, displaying complete unity in a diversity of material and spiritual manifestations
- He (Lord Anantadeva) is so large and powerful that this universe rests on one of His hoods just like a drop of water. He does not know where it is
- He (one who does not develop knowledge through the authorities) is not concerned about acting in terms of the directions of scripture. For him God is money, and knowledge means the satisfaction of bodily demands. BG 1972 purports
- He (the Lord) is like the vaidurya stone, which changes color yet still remains one. All those multi-forms are understood by the pure, unalloyed devotees, but not by a simple study of the Vedas: vedesu durllabham adurllabham atma-bhaktau
- Here (in SB 3.21.19) the very prayer suggests that God is sentient and can hear the prayers and fulfill the desires of the devotee. Therefore, He is sac-cid-ananda-vigraha (BS 5.1), the form of bliss, knowledge and eternity
- How God can be imperson? If God is the supreme father... If you are a person, then how your father can be imperson? So that is imperfect knowledge. When we speak of God as imperson, that is imperfect knowledge
I
- If God is attractive for a certain limited person or limited area, then he is not God. Then you will say, "Our God, your God, his God, that God." But if Krsna is all-attractive, that is real God. And that is Krsna. That is being proved
- If God is iron, then I am also iron. That is my position. But as I am carrying different airs by my association with this material nature, I am getting a different body. It is very simple to understand
- If He (God) were subject to the laws of the material world, how could He have created it? That the Lord is simultaneously identical with His creation and yet exists in His completeness apart from it is stated in Bhagavad-gita - 9.4-5
- If I tell you to come from the darkness into the light and if you don't come, that is your misfortune. Maya is there, and God is there. If you want to remain in maya, then how can you be saved
- If one performs his duties very nicely in the material world, God is obliged to give one the desired result
- If we say that your God is like this and our God is like that, then there will be great disturbance. Simply speak on general topics. Then let them read our literature and ask questions. In this way try to push on our missionary activities
- If we trust in God, we must know that God is actually the only trustworthy person. Then if I put my trust in Him, that is sensible
- If you actually trust, then you must know that God is trustworthy
- If you have got discrimination - "Certain percentage for my wife, certain percentage for my children, certain percentage for my country, certain percent . . ." so on, so on, so on, so on, ultimately, "Zero for God" - then God is also zero
- If you simply consult dictionary, you can understand what is the meaning of God. God is so cheap thing, huh? Supreme being. Are you supreme being? Supreme means the highest authority. Highest authority means nobody is equal to him
- In Bhagavad-gita (BG 4.14), it is said that the Lord has nothing to do with the activities in which He is supposedly engaged
- In English language there is the word, "If you love me, love my dog." So the spiritual master is the "dog" of God; therefore if the spiritual master is patted, God is very much pleased
- In the Bhagavad-gita the Lord says that He has spread Himself throughout the universe, but although everything is resting upon Him, He is aloof
- In the Brahma-samhita also, it is said, vedesu durlabham, or simply by study of Vedanta one can hardly find out the existence of the Personality of Godhead, but the Lord is adurlabham atma-bhaktau, very easily available to His devotee
- In the material world, simply to get a little favor from the goddess of fortune, people observe many rigid regulations of austerity & penance. The Lord cannot tolerate any inconvenience on the part of the devotee. He is therefore famous as bhakta-vatsala
- In the other yugas, however, the Lord is a manifest incarnation, and therefore he is addressed as tri-yuga, or the Lord who appears in three yugas
- In the Vedas it is said that the Lord is svasrayasraya; He is His own support, and there is no other support for Him. Therefore, avyakta means the Supreme Lord Himself and no one else
- It is our imagination that God is such and such and such and such. That is all imagination. The real wise man knows that God is transcendental
- It requires little intelligence, spiritual intelligence, the Absolute, how the servant of God and God is the same
K
- Karma-mimamsa followers accept God to be subject to one's work. Their conclusion is that if one works nicely, God is bound to give good results
- Krsna says, ye tu bhajanti mam bhaktya. One who is, I mean to say, entrapped in such love affairs with God, don't think that God is forgotten. God is also thinking in that way. Although you do not see, but you see
L
- Liberty, happiness and all good fortune can be attained only by surrendering unto the Lord because He is full liberty, full happiness and full auspiciousness
- Loka-palam: He (The Lord ) is actually the maintainer of all living entities
- Lord slept very happily within the violent waves of the water, manifesting thereby that He is able to do anything and everything by His transcendental will and not be hampered by any circumstances
N
- Narayana is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and Nara is a part of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Narayana. Thus the energy and the energetic together are the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- Not only is He (God) seated in the heart of the human being, but He is also within the hearts of cats and dogs. Bhagavad-gita certifies this fact by the declaration of the Lord, isvarah sarva-bhutanam hrd-dese - BG 18.61
S
- Sankarsana, the second expansion, is Vasudeva’s personal expansion for pastimes, and since He is the reservoir of all living entities, He is sometimes called jiva
- Since He (God) is the origin of the Brahman effulgence and Paramatma manifestation, He is described herewith (in SB 3.29.36) as the chief personality
- Since the living entity is constitutionally part and parcel of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the Lord is very affectionate to the living entities
- Sridhara Svami describes tri-yuga as follows: yuga means "couple," and tri means "three." The Lord is manifested as three couples by His six opulences, or three couples of opulences. In that way He can be addressed as tri-yuga
- Such knowledge (that God is money, & knowledge means the satisfaction of body) has no connection with the Absolute Truth. It is more or less like the knowledge of the ordinary animals: the knowledge of eating, sleeping, defending & mating. BG 1972 pur
- Such knowledge (that God is money, and knowledge means the satisfaction of bodily demands) is described here (in BG 18.22) as the product of the mode of darkness. BG 1972 purports
T
- Tattva-darsinah. Unless you have seen, how you can give information of the truth to others? So God is seen, not only seen in the history
- The activities of the incarnations of the Supreme Personality of Godhead are a kind of imitation of the activities going on in the material world. He is just like an actor on a stage
- The activities of the Supreme Personality of Godhead in maintaining His devotees are transcendental, not material. He exists in everything as the cause and effect, yet He is separate, existing beyond this cosmic manifestation
- The child is put into such a precarious condition externally, but internally he is the same, and the Lord is there
- The demoniac followers of Maharaja Bali said: "This Vamana is certainly not a brahmana but the best of cheaters, Lord Visnu. Assuming the form of a brahmana, He has covered His own form, and thus He is working for the interests of the demigods"
- The difference between the Absolute Truth and relative truth is explained here (in CC Madhya 4.133). Lord Gopinatha has openly declared herein that He is a thief
- The distinction of the Lord is that His activities are all transcendental, & He is able to do anything and everything without being deterred by limitations of time and space. He can enjoy His transcendental happiness regardless of material considerations
- The entities have different bodies, but originally, in the beginning of creation, Lord Visnu is alone
- The foolish conditioned soul does not take into account that the Supreme cannot be conditioned by maya or illusion. If the Supreme were to become conditioned by illusion, where would be His supremacy? In that case, maya, or illusion, would be the Supreme
- The individual soul is also knower, conscious, and the Supersoul, God, is also conscious. So we also admit universal consciousness, that is God's consciousness
- The Lord does not hanker for a small leaf or flower; He has enough to eat. Indeed, He is feeding all living entities
- The Lord is addressed in this verse (SB 3.16.22) as tri-yuga, or one who appears in three millenniums - namely the Satya, Dvapara and Treta yugas. He is not mentioned as appearing in the fourth millennium, or Kali-yuga
- The Lord is already sitting within the heart, and if He comes out from the body of a devotee it does not mean that the particular woman becomes His mother in the material sense
- The Lord is also addressed as Natha, the real Lord. One can attain the perfection of life only by serving the real Lord. The entire material atmosphere is surcharged with the false lordship of the living beings
- The Lord is also described here as sad-dharma-vidam varistham. This indicates that of all transcendental occupations the best occupation is eternal loving service unto the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- The Lord is described as go-brahmana-hitaya because His incarnation is only for the protection of the cows & brahmanas. Unfortunately, because in Kali-yuga there is no protection of the cows and brahminical culture, everything is in a precarious position
- The Lord is everyone's friend, but He is especially friendly to the surrendered soul
- The Lord is free to do whatever He likes. Therefore this verse (SB 10.2.39) says, vina vinodam bata tarkayamahe. It is only for His pleasure that He comes although He does not need to come
- The Lord is ksetra-jnah, conscious, as is the living being, but the living being is conscious of his particular body, whereas the Lord is conscious of all bodies. BG 1972 Introduction
- The Lord is open to being seen by devotees, but nondevotees cannot see Him. The qualification for seeing God is stated in Brahma-samhita (BS 5.38): premanjana-cchurita-bhakti-vilocanena santah sadaiva hrdayesu vilokayanti
- The Lord is reciprocally respondent to His devotees. When He sees that a devotee is completely sincere in getting admittance to the transcendental service of the Lord and has thus become eager to hear about Him, the Lord acts from within
- The Lord is saguna by His own internal potency, but at the same time He is nirguna, since He is not in touch with the material energy
- The Lord is said to be the sun, and ignorance is called darkness. BG 1972 purports
- The Lord is sama, equal to everyone. In this regard, He states in Bhagavad-gita (BG 9.29), samo'ham sarva-bhutesu na me dvesyo 'sti na priyah: the Lord has no one as His friend or enemy, and He is equal to everyone
- The Lord is saranya, which means "the only worthy personality to whom one can fully surrender," because He is full of all opulences
- The Lord is self-satisfied because He is fully opulent, and one who is satisfied by serving Him is called bhagavata atmaramah
- The Lord is simultaneously both in Vaikuntha and everywhere within and without Vaikuntha
- The Lord is situated in everyone's heart. One does not have to seek the Lord outside; He is already there
- The Lord is so compassionate upon the fallen souls within this material world that He comes Himself or sends His devotees and His servants to fulfill His desire to have all the fallen souls come back home, back to Godhead
- The Lord is so satisfied with His pure devotees that He wants to give them the credit for missionary success, although He could do the work personally. This is the sign of His satisfaction with His pure, niskama devotees, compared to the sakama devotees
- The Lord is sometimes described as siva-virinci-nutam, which means that Lord Siva and Lord Brahma also offer their respectful obeisances unto the lotus feet of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Narayana
- The Lord is supposed to rise early in the morning and take some light refreshment and give audience to the devotees. The devotees then go back to the house or sing the glories of the Lord in the temple.
- The Lord is the Supersoul of everyone. In Bhagavad-gita it is said that the Lord is the source of all emanations; thus He is also the source of Brahma and Siva
- The Lord is therefore not in need of another's favor because no one is equal to or greater than Him. Actually, everyone needs the favor of the Lord for successful understanding of his human mission
- The Lord is unmindful of the nondevotees, although He is sitting within everyone's heart as well-wisher and Supersoul. However, He also gives them the chance to receive His mercy through His pure devotees who are engaged in missionary activities
- The Lord is very difficult for the karma-yogis, jnana-yogis and dhyana-yogis to attain. Those who are bhakti-yogis, however, have no difficulty at all
- The Lord is very much satisfied with pure devotees because they do not act for sense gratification but only in terms of the Lord's desire
- The Lord says here (in BG 9.29) distinctly, "mayi te," "in Me." Naturally, as a result, the Lord is also in them (who are situated in Him). This is reciprocal. This also explains the words: asti na priyah/ye bhajanti. BG 1972 purports
- The Lord was much pleased with Narada Muni, and therefore the necessary strength was invested in him so that he could hear the Lord
- The message of God is just like Bhagavad-gita or Bible, any, as you like. Just try to hear, san-mukharitam vartam, from realized soul. Just like the truths of Bible were spoken by Lord Jesus Christ or Krsna
- The only way to understand the Lord as He is, is by devotional service to the Lord, or by approaching the devotee of the Lord who always has the Lord in his heart
- The permanent is the soul. God is permanent. And there is a world, a sky, which is also permanent. So why not transfer yourself to that permanent sky, permanent association, permanent life, permanent supreme knowledge?
- The pure devotee is always constantly engaged in the transcendental loving service of the Supreme Lord and cannot forget the Supreme Lord, and so for him the Lord is easily attained. BG 1972 purports
- The quivering quality of material existence, which comes from identification with matter or from thinking oneself, under the material influence of philosophical speculation, to be God, can be eradicated by devotional service to the Lord
- The relative world is His (God's) phenomenal representation because it is nothing but an expansion of His transcendental energy. Although He is in His abode His energy is distributed everywhere, just as the sun is localized as well as expanded everywhere
- The servant must know what is God, what does He do, how He is satisfied: these things should be preached to them. How one is accepted as God, what are the symptoms: these things they should learn
- The Sesa who bears the globes is a potent incarnation of Sankarsana, and therefore He is sometimes also called Sankarsana. The bedstead feature of Sesa always presents himself as an eternal servitor of the Lord
- The Supreme Absolute Truth is complete in His perfection when He is both infinite and infinitesimal. If He is simply infinite and is not infinitesimal, He is not perfect
- The Supreme Lord can be pleased only by devotional service: it is said that the Lord is surely satisfied by devotion and nothing else
- The Supreme Lord can be preliminarily perceived by His different energies, and in this way He is realized impersonally. BG 1972 purports
- The Supreme Lord cannot be understood by materialistic persons even though He is present before them. In Bhagavad-gita, Lord Krsna therefore condemns such materialists as mudhas
- The Supreme Lord is also described as suhrdam ("ever well-wisher"). The Supreme Lord is always a well-wisher, just like a father or mother. Despite all the offenses of a son, the father and mother are always the son's well-wisher
- The Supreme Lord, the creator of this cosmic manifestation, knows every nook and corner of His creation. Although He is the cause of creation, there is no cause for His appearance. He is fully aware of everything
- The Supreme Personality of Godhead is described in this verse (SB 7.5.41) as anirdesye. We cannot understand Him to be in a particular place, for He is all-pervasive. Moreover, He is akhilatma, the active principle of everything, even material weapons
- The Supreme Personality of Godhead is paramahamsa, or the supreme pure, whereas those who are sinful, being very much attached to material sense enjoyment and therefore engaging in material activities like asses, are the lowest of men
- The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Garbhodakasayi Visnu, is the origin of the material senses and sense objects. Since Lord Siva considers himself to be one of the products of the material world, his senses are under the control of the supreme creator
- The visva-rupa, as it was shown to Arjuna, is not the original form of the Lord. The original form of the Lord is the transcendental form of Purusottama, or Krsna Himself. It is very nicely explained that He expands Himself just like the sun
- The word brahma-vadinam refers to the devotees. The state should always serve the devotees of the Lord, & the ideal state should conduct itself according to the instructions of the devotee. Because Prthu followed this principle, he is highly praised
- The words santaya kuta-sthaya sva-rocise are very significant. Although the Lord is within this material world, He is not disturbed by the waves of material existence
- The words vaisaradi dhih refer to intelligence concerning the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is extremely expert. The Lord has created wonderful universes by His expert knowledge
- There are innumerable living entities: nityo nityanam cetanas cetananam (Katha Upanisad 2.2.13). That is Vedic information. God is also a living entity, like us, but He's the chief living entity. And we are also living entity
- There are some yogic schools. In America you'll find. They do not believe in God. But it is not actually... The yoga principle does not deny the existence of God. God is there
- There is also a prayer in the Vedic literature that states: My Lord, You are the well-wisher of the cows and the brahmanas, and You are the well-wisher of the entire human society and world. BG 1972 purports
- There is calculation that suppose God is cent percent perfect. So when you get you, your spiritual body, you may not be as powerful as God, but almost near to God. You get seventy-eight percent
- There is no secrecy. There is no so-called bluff or mystical, this or that. It is simple truth. God is teaching that, You simply surrender unto Me
- There is no such rule as cause and effect outside of the material world. Therefore the understanding of cause and effect cannot approach the full, transcendental, complete expansions of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. The Vedic literature proves this
- There is steady stand in Bhakti cult because in this cult God is there, the devotee is there and the devotional service activities are there, and when they are joined together that makes us able to stand on the Absolute platform
- There is way to understand why God is trustworthy. It's not the question of faith. It is a fact
- They (Brahma, Siva, Narada & many other demigods) began to pray for the SPG in select prayers which are very pleasing to the devotees and which award fulfillment of devotional desires. The first words they spoke acclaimed that the Lord is true to His vow
- They make God as order-supplier for their material needs. Or some of them are taught to love God because He is considered to be order-supplier. But our principle is not to make God our order-supplier - we want to execute the order of God
- This (SB 4.18.26) is evidence that the Lord supplies food to everyone. As confirmed in the Vedas: eko bahunam yo vidadhati kaman. Although the Lord is one, He is supplying all necessities to everyone through the medium of the planet earth
- This is a false theory, that chemical can create life. It is nonsense. Life is never created. Life is already there. God is already there, and the part and particles, molecules, of life, was already there
- This is confirmed in Bhagavad-gita (11.39): You are the Lord of air, the supreme justice Yama, the fire, and the Lord of rains. You are the moon, and You are the great-grandfather. Therefore I offer my respectful obeisances unto You again and again
- This is Krsna consciousness movement. God is personally giving you the information, what is the material nature, what is the spiritual nature, how you can transfer yourself to the spiritual nature, and then you come to your original position
- This Ramakrishna Mission has created God. God cannot be created. God is God always. This is anthropomorphism. Is it not
- To a devotee who is engaged in Krsna consciousness the Lord is very, very kind. In spite of all difficulties, he is eventually placed in the transcendental abode, or Krsnaloka. BG 1972 purports
W
- We are engaged in philanthropic work, to give food to the poor, as if God is unable to give food to the poor, because we have taken the position of God. So this is not our business. God has food for everyone
- We are thinking that God is different from me, but when the illusion is over, then I and God become one. This is Mayavadi theory, monism. But actually this is not clear knowledge
- We cannot independently endeavor or act upon anything. Therefore the Lord is bhuta-bhavanah
- We should note very carefully that God is addressing Brahma & specifying with great emphasis Himself, pointing out that it is He, who existed before the creation, it is He only who maintains the creation, & it is He only who remains after the annihilation
- What is the value of our form? This form will be changed after a few years, as soon as we give up the body. Our forms are changed just as we change our suits and dresses, but God doesn't have a form like this; therefore He is sometimes called nirakara
- When one atheist argued that God is no more expert than the manufacturer of a subtle watch which has so many delicate parts, we had to reply that God is a greater mechanic than the watchmaker
- When the Lord appears as an incarnation to fulfill a particular purpose, this does not indicate that He is unable to fulfill it without appearing. He can do anything simply by His will
Y
- You can find out some rich man, but you cannot find out the richest man. Every day you will find so many competitors. So as soon as you find the richest man, nobody can surpass him, then he is God
- You can know Him, you can see Him, what He is, what is His function. Just to mitigate all our doubts, God is present here. And Krsna says in the beginning of the Seventh Chapter of the Bhagavad-gita how you can understand God
- You understand what is God and have your faith at full that, "God is, yes, trustworthy," so that others may also know that God is trustworthy
