- All living entities within this material world except for Lord Siva are swayed by maya. Lord Siva is therefore neither visnu-tattva nor jiva-tattva. He is between the two
- All other living entities, both visnu-tattva and jiva-tattva, are subordinate to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Krsna
- All such expansions, both svamsas and vibhinnamsas, are emanations from the original Personality of Godhead. Svamsa expansions are called visnu-tattva, whereas the vibhinnamsa expansions are called jiva-tattva. The different demigods are jiva-tattva

- Both the visnu-tattva (as Nityananda Prabhu and Advaita) and the jiva-tattva (srivasadi-gaura-bhakta-vrnda) engage in the service of the Lord, but one must distinguish between the visnu-tattva servitors and the jiva-tattva servitors
- Brahma is a living being, jiva-tattva. He is not Visnu-tattva. Just see how much a living being can be powerful. Now, Brahma was created by this Garbhodakasayi Visnu, and Brahma in his turn, he created all these planetary systems
- Brahma was surprised that his mystic power had been neglected. Without touching the original cows and cowherd boys, Krsna had created another assembly of calves and boys, who were all expansions of visnu-tattva. Thus Brahma's mystic power was superseded

- The visnu-tattvas are living beings equally as powerful as the original form of the Personality of Godhead, and They display different categories of power in consideration of different times and circumstances

- The yoga system teaches the serious student to meet the visnu-tattvas after going beyond the twenty-four material elements of the cosmic creation
- There are different grades of forms, known as svamsa and vibhinnamsa. The svamsa expansions, or visnu-tattva, are the Supreme Personality of Godhead, whereas the vibhinnamsa are jiva-tattva, who are part and parcel of the Lord

- There are so many incarnation of visnu-tattva. They're all one. Advaitam acyutam anadi ananta-rupam (BS 5.33). So visnu-tattva, worshipable, or krsna-tattva, worshipable. And to pin our staunch faith in Visnu, we should discuss about visnu-tattva
- There is a warning in Srimad-Bhagavatam that Krsna is not very easily worshiped, for He is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the chief among the visnu-tattvas. To worship Krsna or have association with Him is not very easy
- There is no need of separately worshiping either the visnu-tattva or jiva-tattva. If one concentrates upon Krsna, one worships everyone. Therefore, because mother Devaki gave birth to Krsna, she is described here (in SB 10.1.56) as sarva-devata
- There is visnu-tattva: Krsna, Balarama, Sankarsana, Catur-vyuha, Narayana. Dvitiya-catur-vyuha: again Sankarsana; from Sankarsana, Maha-Visnu; Maha-Visnu to Garbhodakasayi Visnu; Garbhodakasayi Visnu, then Ksirodakasayi Visnu; in this way
- These (Vasudeva, Sankarsana, Pradyumna and Aniruddha) expansions are the original Deities for all other truths, namely either visnu-tattva or sakti-tattvas
- These six opulences are fully represented in Krsna; therefore Krsna is accepted as the Supreme Personality of Godhead (krsnas tu bhagavan svayam (SB 1.3.28)), and others are accepted as His expansions, or incarnations - visnu-tattva
- These three - Caitanya, Nityananda and Advaita - belong to the category of Visnu-tattva, or the Supreme Absolute Truth
- They (Ksatriya kings) never made the mistake, however, of accepting the demigods as the Supreme Lord on the level of visnu-tattva, as do some less intelligent men
- This Kamadeva, who appears as Krsna's son named Pradyumna, is visnu-tattva. How this is so is explained by Madhvacarya, who quotes from the Brahmanda Purana: kamadeva-sthitam visnum upaste
- This Krsna has many expansions (advaitam acyutam anadim). He has no beginning, but He is the beginning of everything. He has expanded Himself in many forms. The visnu-tattva consists of bhagavat-tattva-svamsa, the personal expansions
- This situation (of Rudra is simultaneously one with and different from the visnu-tattva) is called bhedabheda-tattva or acintya-bhedabheda-tattva, simultaneously one and different
- Those who are actually situated in the mode of goodness (sattva-guna) of material nature worship only visnu-tattvas
- Those who come directly from Lord Visnu are called visnu-tattva and are sometimes designated as Mahapurusa. Another name for Krsna is Mahapurusa, and a devotee is sometimes called maha-paurusika

- Visnu-tattvas are represented by various names and forms, such as Narayana, Damodara, Vamana, Govinda and Adhoksaja
W

- We may doubt whether Lord Ramacandra could be in the same category (of visnu-tattva), since He was carried by Hanuman, not by Garuda, and had neither four hands nor the sankha, cakra, gada and padma
- When Krsna appeared with Baladeva, all the visnu-tattvas appeared with Him
- When we speak of Visnu, we mean Krsna. Krsna is the origin of the visnu-tattva - that is, Visnu is an expansion of Krsna
- Without touching the original cows and cowherd boys kept by Brahma, Krsna had created another assembly of calves and boys, who were all expansions of visnu-tattva. Thus Brahma's mystic power was superseded
