- Bhagavan says, mayy asakta, mayi asakta. Therefore if you become attached... We have got attachment for so many things. But if we transfer that attachment to Krsna, then, Krsna says, mayy asakta-manah partha yogam yunjan mad-asrayah
- Bhakti means to serve Hrsikesa by the hrsika. Hrsika means senses. Krsna is the master of the senses, and therefore, whatever senses I have got, the master is Krsna, proprietor is Krsna
- Bhakti Yoga is the process for all the ages, but the method is different in each age. The rascal people have got some idea of Bhakti according to their whims. Some meditate on light, but real meditation means to concentrate on Krishna
- Bhakti-yoga means vairagya, detachment for material enjoyment. That is the sign. Not that "I am a big, big devotee, but I have got very great attachment for material enjoyment." That is not bhakti

- Brahma janati iti brahmanah. That means one who knows the spirit, the spiritual. One who has got complete knowledge of the spiritual world, he is called brahmin

- Brahmacari, householder and retired - everyone has got specific duty. That is mentioned in all the sastras
- Brahman life begins when we understand that "I am not this material body. I am spirit soul." That is brahma-jnana. And one who has got this knowledge, he is brahmana
- Brahman means His (Krsna's) effulgence, bodily rays. You may ask, "What is that bodily rays?" You can see every day. Everyone has got bodily rays according to his quality. You see the sun, the bodily rays, the sunshine
- Brahmana means the most intellectuals, most intelligent person. Intelligent means one who knows, who has got sufficient knowledge. So brahmana means he has got sufficient knowledge, even up to the understanding of the Absolute Truth

- Buddhi-yoga means bhakti-yoga. So, svalpam apy asya dharmasya trayate mahato bhayat. Bhakti-yoga, begun, some way or other, it has got great effect
- By evolution, we come to this human form of body, and in this human form of body, we have got the chance to develop Krsna consciousness
- By impure consciousness we are transmigrating from . . . now this time, you may be very happy that you have got a very nice body, American body, or you are enjoying life. But do you know what is the next life? That you do not know
- By nature every living entity is joyful and in Krishna Consciousness, but due to association with material contamination certain souls have gotten their joyful spiritual nature covered up by the cloud of Maya

- Cari varna means four castes, four division of human society: the brahmin, the ksatriyas, the vaisyas and the sudra. They have got their specific duties. One who is brahmin, he has got his specific duty

- Cit means knowledge. So in this material body we have no knowledge. Even if we have got . . . now imperfect knowledge, limited knowledge. But in the spiritual life you have got full knowledge. That is spiritual life
- Cooperation is possible to be made either by life, wealth, intelligence or words. Every one has got some of the above assets of the above four principles, and we can engage them in the service of the Lord
- Creating the background very nicely, sattva-guna, they'll beget a child. That child will come, some great man, now great devotee. So everything has got the material relationship, how to do it. That is sastra. You do it, but follow the sastric injunction
- Cyavana Muni was very irritable, but since Sukanya had gotten him as her husband, she dealt with him carefully, according to his mood. Knowing his mind, she performed service to him without being bewildered

- Dancing they have got - Krsna dancing, always. Painting they have got, singing they have got, arts, literature. We have got eighty books like this, four hundred pages. Pure life - no meat-eating, no illicit sex, no intoxication, no gambling. Finished
- Darsi means who has got eyes to see what is the Absolute Truth. Don't go to a blind man, who has no knowledge about the Absolute Truth
- Defeat they are taking as success. Just like these rascal scientists, they could not go and settle in the moon planet. Still, they are saying, "It is success." Just see the fun. What success? You could not stay there, and what success you have got?
- Demigods means almost God. They have got all godly qualities, and they are controller of the atmospheric affairs. Some of them are controlling rainy season, some of them controlling heat
- Demons are generally very powerful. They are so-called educated. So many things they have got. But the test is: if he has no Krsna consciousness or God consciousness, he is demon. That's all. That is the study of demon
- Determination is increased by celibacy. Brahmacarya is recommended to keep oneself determined. A brahmacari, if he determines something, he executes. He has got that strength of mind
- Devotee hasn't got any personal decision. That is the process of Krsna consciousness. Evam parampara-praptam imam rajarsayo viduh. We should decide by the order of Krsna through the disciplic succession, via media, the spiritual master. That is required
- Devotee will have to meet so many enemies. Just like we have got this from the life of Lord Jesus Christ. When he was being killed by others, he said, to excuse them, "God, they do not know what they are doing." That is devotee's position
- Dharma means the natural characteristic. That is dharma. We don't mean dharma is a certain type of faith. No. Faith or no faith, the characteristics must be there. Just like salt. It has got a particular type of taste
- Dhruva Maharaja was thinking of becoming happy by getting a great kingdom, and ultimately when he met the Supreme Personality of Godhead, he found the object of love. He said, - No. I don't want anything. I have got now everything. I have seen You
- Dhruva was very much ashamed to think that although he had gone to Madhuvana, giving up the kingdom of his father (Uttanapada), and he had gotten a spiritual master like Narada Muni, he was still thinking of revenge against his stepmother
- Did you not say that we have got something; the pleasure derived from all these things, that is very inferior? We have got pleasure of superior quality. Therefore we have been able to give it up. That is the fact
- Distress and happiness, they're already destined, according to our body. We have discussed this point. Take, for example, you American boys and girls: you have got a body by your previous activities. So your standard of living is better than other country
- Do something positive. If you have got preacher, then never mind what is the quarter. Have kirtana and distribute prasadam

- Don't try to interpret in a different way. The whole mischief is that everyone has got his own theosophy. And Bhagavad-gita is a popular book, and he wants to prove his own philosophy through Bhagavad-gita
- Dvandva means fighting or quarreling. Every one of us has got nature for fighting with others unnecessarily. Even some people come here with a spirit of fighting with me. So this is called dvandva
- Dvija means brahmana, ksatriya, vaisya. One who has got the right to take the sacred thread, they are called dvijas. But out of the three, brahmana, ksatriya, vaisya, the brahmana is called dvija-srestha

- Each and every one should leave a putra before his death. He has got so many duties. This is Vedic civilization. But nobody now cares for that. Neither it is possible. Therefore the only remedy is to surrender. Saranyam
- Each and every word is very carefully selected in Sanskrit, and they have got immense meaning, full of meaning
- Each one of us, we are part and parcel of God. So we have got some duty. Just like the part and parcel of my body has got some duty. The eyes, his duty is to see. The ear, his duty is to hear
- Eating is not prohibited. You have to eat, because you have got this body. But not that simply for eating I am living. This is called yukta-vairagya
- Economic development. What is this nonsense? You are losing yourself. You do not know what life you are going to get next life. You don't care for this. "Never mind whatever life I get. This life I have got. Let me work hard and accumulate money"
- Either you are born in a very big family or nation, or either you have got a very advanced academic education, at the time of death your work will be judged and you will get another body according to that work
- Elephant has got a particular type of body, and it has got its standard of living. Similarly, there are higher beings also, in the higher planetary system. They are called Svargaloka, Janaloka, Maharloka, Tapoloka, Brahmaloka
- Energy, prakrti. Krsna is engladdened in the presence of Radharani. That is nature. Similarly, a man, he becomes energized if he has got a good wife or good mother
- Entangled means for one resultant action we are now, we have got this body. Again we are going to take another material body. So this is a chain of birth and death
- Envy means the cow has got right to live. He does not allow the cow to live. That is envy
- Envy means the cow has got right to live; he does not allow the cow to live. That is envy. You cannot understand this? Suppose you are walking. You have got right to walk, I have got, and if I kill you, you cannot walk. That is envious
- Especially in America, they have got so many nice arrangements of big, big universities. Unfortunately, nowadays they are producing hippies
- Europe, America, they work very diligently, hard, and they have got material prosperity. And the Eastern countries, they are not working, intelligent. From material point of view. From spiritual point of view that is another thing
- Even a devotee is sometimes found not acting properly, but because he has got that unflinching faith and devotion upon Me, - Krsna says: "therefore he is saint." Only for that one qualification - he does not know except Krsna
- Even if he (a devotee) has got great amount of wealth, good qualification, everything, he thinks that, - These things are Krsna's. I am His servant. I have got the opportunity to serve Him with this qualification
- Even in Africa, in the village, where they have got so big, big earrings, they are also chanting Hare Krsna maha-mantra. They are also chanting. Therefore the African government is a little afraid of this movement

- Every one of us, we know that this material body will be finished. And it is full of ignorance. We cannot say anything, what is beyond this wall. We have got senses, but they are all limited, imperfect
- Every religion has got scripture. Just like the Christians have got Bible, the Muslims have got Koran, and Hindus, they have got Vedas. They should abide by the injunction of the sastra. Krsna also recommends that you must follow the sastric injunction
- Every Sanskrit word has got elaborate meaning. Grhastha means one who stays in grha, in house. He is called grhastha
- Everybody has got something. That is called artha. Prana, artha, and everyone has got intelligence, and everyone has got the power to speak. So we have to engage all these four things. Either four or three or two, at least one, we must engage

- Everyone has got the facilities for sense enjoyment. Why not human being? Human being is developed consciousness; he has got better facilities. But the human being's business is not to indulge in sense gratification
- Everyone has got the right to interpret in a different way, but we have to accept parampara, the disciplic succession. Just like I have given one burfi. Everyone knows it is burfi, and if somebody interprets, "It is stone," so it will not be accepted

- Everyone knows that "I'll not live forever." But even though it is temporary, adhruvam, not eternal, it is arthadam. It is said, arthadam. Whatever little life you have got, you can attain perfection
- Everyone knows that he has got a father. That is not difficult. Anyone who is in this material world, in material world or spiritual world, there is a father

- Family or society, that is the increase of the same affection. So the so-called nationalism is also materialism. There is the simply expansion. Just like you have got a party of rogues. And a big party or small party, the business is plundering
- Fire is with heat, but heat is, although has got the fire's qualification, it is not fire. Heat you can touch, but fire you cannot touch. Just like there is some distinction. But there is no distinction also
- First of all, whatever intoxication you have already got, just try to cure it. Don't increase it. The physical necessities means we have already got it. But it is meant for decreasing, not increasing
- For Krsna, there is no past & present & future. That means His body is different from Arjuna's. Because He knows. Why I forget? Because I have got this material body. And Krsna does not forget, therefore He has no material body. It is natural conclusion
- For ordinary public, four hours' kirtana, chanting and dancing, bas. And then give them sufficient prasadam "Take prasada." This process. Because unless he has got little sraddha, he will simply put some false argument and waste your time
- For the persons with poor fund of knowledge, they may not find out Krsna's name. But in the sastra we have got thousands of name, visnu-sahasra-nama
- Formerly, and still in Indian villages, suppose one man is going to give his daughter to a boy. So he will go and see how much grains he has got in store, how many cows he has got. Then yes, he is going to agree, like that
- Fortunately you have got this Krsna consciousness, so utilize your life properly. You have got immense literature. Read it. Digest it. Make your life perfect. That is my request
- Friendly talking cannot give any good result, simply waste of time. But when there is talking between disciple and the spiritual master, that has got meaning
- From food value, the stool is very valuable. It contains all hypophosphates and so on, so on. The doctors, they have analyzed. But that does not mean because it has got very big food value the human being will agree to take stool
- From the material nature everything is coming. Therefore according to Vedic knowledge, this earth is also mother. We have got seven mothers according to Vedic civilization: Atma-mata means original mother, real mother. And guroh patni, the wife of teacher
- From this day of initiation these four pillars of sinful life - illicit sex life, intoxication, meat-eating and gambling - they should be broken. Not that, "Let me do it. I have got the mantra, machine, instrument for counteracting." No
- From this Kristo the word has got Christo, or Christ. So even in Christian world the God's name is there - Jesus the Christ, or Jesus the son of Kristo, or Krsna

- Generally the seasonal changes are accepted as Satya-yuga, Treta-yuga, Dvapara-yuga and Kali-yuga. Just like in each year we have got different seasons, changes, similarly, each millennium there are so many changes of Kali-yuga, Dvapara-yuga, Satya-yuga
- Generally they take eleven Upanisads primarily, but there are 108 Upanisads. Sometimes the explanation is given that "Why we have got 108 beads?" - Because there are 108 Upanisad
- Generally, everyone has got attraction for woman. Woman has got attraction for man. That is general. But when they are united by marriage, the attraction becomes very acute, hrdaya-granthim ahuh. Hrdaya-granthi means very hard knot
- God does not discriminate, but so long as we have got forms we have to discriminate
- God has got many forms, but the original form is that playing on flute, curved in three places with barhavatamsam asitambuda-sundarangam, with a feather on the head. These are Vedic description of Krsna
- God is equally kind, equally merciful, but we fight. We, disagree in religious principle. That is due to Kali. Not this Kali. Kali means due to our fighting spirit. It is not God. God is equal to everyone. We fight because we have got misconception
- God is everywhere, but still, He has got His kingdom, abode. He has got His association, everything. Just like the sun. The sunshine is all over the universe, but it has got his own planet, his own residence, localized, everything
- God is not only your father, he's father of the lamb also. So if by your brute force you want to kill the poor lamb, then you'll be punished. This is natural. You have got your food, you produce your foodgrain and you eat
- God is one, God cannot be two. It is not that Hindus have got one God and Christians have got another God. No. God cannot be two
- God's arrangement is so nice that everyone has got his particular body according to his work. It is so nice arrangement. You see. You'll find millions of persons, and everyone you'll find different from the other. You won't find two similar persons
- God's creation is so vast, you cannot estimate even what is the length and breadth of this universe. It is not possible. We have got information four millions of miles. And where is sun situated? Everything is there. So how it is?
- Government has got two departments: law and order department, military department. Why? Two things must . . . This is their business, sudra business

- Here we have got that taste of rasa in a perverted manner. But cinmaya-rasa means it continues. This Radha-Krsna with the gopis, they are enjoying, dancing, chanting. That is eternally; that is never stopped
- His father was engaged in austerity, and because he (the brahmin boy) born of such powerful father, he had also the power, austerity, & srutaujas. Srutauja means "by education." If one man is educated, highly educated, talented scholar, he has got power

- People are giving stress only to the Darwin's theory. But in the Vedic literature we have got immense information of this living condition in this material world
- People are learning how to mate like dog. So in this way defending. A dog has also his defending measures. He has got teeth and nails. He can defend himself. And you might have atom bombs. But the measure is defending. That's all
- People cannot understand actually what is God. A vague idea. They do not know actually what is the nature of God. So gradually it will be forgotten. But still, because still people have got some sense, therefore this preaching work is going on
- People have got short life, they are always disturbed. They are disturbed with material disturbances, diseases, and they are unfortunate also. They are not very fortunate
- People have got tendency to live in a secluded place, solitary place, without any disturbance. That is sign of sattva-guna
- People search out that, "I have got some material disease, and if somebody can cure, some saintly person, then he's guru or he's Bhagavan. I am poor. If he can give me some money, then he's guru." No. The sastra does not say like that
- People understood Krsna wrongly... Sometimes big scholars say "Sophistry," that "Krsna wants full surrender." Others, they say, "Why you should fully surrender to Krsna? We have got our own gods." Therefore Krsna again came
- Persons who have got incompetent senses, who is liable to commit mistake, who is illusioned, whatever knowledge he is giving that is cheating, because he has no perfect knowledge
- Phalgu vairagya means the so-called sannyasis, they have taken the dress of renounced order, but within the heart they have got all desires to fulfill
- Please keep fit with regular habits at least once a day take your bath and timely eat drink and sleep. Now you are married man you have got facility for sex life, but also this should be regulated
- Pollution means impure. So if you purify, then there is no more pollution. Just like infection. You have got some disease, infection. If you give some vaccine to purify the body, the infection is gone
- Prahlada Maharaja is one of the mahajana, authorities. How he has gotten this authority? Here it is said, so 'ham katham nu visrje tava bhrtya-sevam. So everyone must have his position by giving service to the spiritual master
- Prahlada Maharaja said: "My Lord, I have no problem, so why shall I ask You for anything? I have no problem." - Everyone has got problem in this material world. They're trying to overcome the problem. But I have no problem
- Prahlada Maharaja says, "My dear friends, you have got this human form of life after many, many births." The modern civilization, they do not know. The university education, they do not know. The scientist, they do not know
- Prahlada Maharaja says, You have got the opportunity to understand what is bhagavata-dharma. Don't lose it like cats and dogs
- Prahlada saying that Brahma has got all these qualifications (wealth, manpower, etc.) in one person. He has got everything. Therefore as he could not pacify God, as such, all these material qualification is useless for pacifying or for pleasing the Lord
- Prakrti is jada. Jada-prakrti. Jada-prakrti. Without any sense. The motor car has got the wheels, the machine, everything, but it has no sense. So unless there is a sensible driver there, it cannot move. Very plain truth. Anyone can understand
- Prakrti means this material world. We do not belong to this material world. Just like a person in the prison house, he is a citizen, but when he goes into the prisonhouse, he has got different sense, different, I mean, punishment, different dress
- Pravrtti means we have got some inclination to accept something and we have disinclination to reject something. Everyone knows it. But the asuric jana, those who are asuras, demons, they do not know in which way we shall accept
- Pravrtti-marga means he has got intention, desire for material enjoyment. So he's regulated, "Do like this," so that he may come to the point of nivrtti-marga
- Process is that "By my karma I have become sinful. Now I have got the remedial measure, chanting of Hare Krsna, but I shall not commit again." Then he's successful
- Purnasya purnam adaya purnam eva avasisyate (Iso Invocation). This is the Vedic information. Here we have got experience, one minus one equal to zero. But we get the Vedic information that one minus one equal to one, one plus one equal to one
- Puruna means the enjoyer. Everyone of us sitting in this hall, we have got different mentality to enjoy differently, different dress, different mentality, different opinion, because everyone of us we are individual
- Purusa means both men and women, because everyone has got the spirit, "I shall enjoy." Therefore he is described as purusa
- Putra has got a duty, to save the forefathers. Therefore one has to, it is his duty to keep a putra. At least one son he must leave. But people are not very much anxious to have putra. Rather to kill putra. They are so sinful

- Radha and Krsna, the same Absolute, but Radharani is the expansion of the pleasure potency of Krsna. We have got potency as Krsna has got. Parasya saktir vividhaiva sruyate (Svetasvatara Upanisad 6.8, Cc. Madhya 13.65). This is the Vedic injunction
- Rajarsayah means king, ksatriya, with qualification of brahmana. Although he is king, he is not brahmana, but he has got the qualification of brahmana
- Ramakrishna Mission allurement is that daridra-narayana-seva and hospital. That is their only allurement. They have no program. Nobody, attracted by their philosophy. And what philosophy they have got? Never mind

- Rascal says that "You can accept any way." No! Only one way: Krsna consciousness. You cannot supply foodstuff to your body by so many holes. You have got nine holes in your body. One hole, this hole. You have to supply food to, not this hole, rectum
- Real knowledge you will get from guru, from Krsna. Evam parampara-praptam (BG 4.2). That is real knowledge. Otherwise, anything has got some knowledge, that knowledge is not sufficient
- Religion, you have got some faith. That may not be right. It may be wrong. Just like the Christian religion, they have got faith in this way, that animal has no soul
- Renunciation means one has got all these things, richness, fame, beauty, knowledge, but he renounces everything for some higher purpose
- Responsibility is that you have got this human form of life - realize God. This is your responsibility. Otherwise you are finished. Three words: "You have got this human form of life. Your only responsibility is to understand God
- Retire means to retire from all foolish activities and engage yourself in real activities. Retire is the negative side. But unless you have got positive side you cannot retire
- Rucih means taste. Unless they have got taste, why they should remain with me? They are not coming from poor family
- Rules of hatha-yoga are not followed. Simply they have got some bodily gymnastic sitting posture. They are thinking, "I am practicing." No. That is one of the items. So all the items cannot be observed in this age. Therefore it is wasting
- Rupa has described, phalgu-vairagya. The monkey is vairagi. He lives in the forest. He has no cloth even. Other vairagis, they have got little cloth, but these monkeys have no cloth. & they live in forest and eat fruits, vegetarian, but rascal number one

- Saktyavesa avatara, there are two kinds: one directly empowered for particular mission, comes from the transcendental spiritual sky, and others, those who are in this material world, but they have got some specific power
- Sambandha, what is our connection with God. That is called sambandha. And then abhidheya. According to that relationship we have to act. That is called abhidheya. And why do we act. Because we have got the goal of life, to achieve the goal of life
- Sannyasi mean sat nyasi, one who has given up attachment for this false material world. That is the philosophy of Sankaracarya. He says, brahma satyam jagan mithya. He is advising that, you have got attachment for this material world. This is false
- Sanskrit poetry writing is very difficult. They have got rhetoric system. So many words should be first, so many words, second. You cannot deviate
- Sat means eternal. Spiritual body never annihilates. The material body annihilates. Every one of us, we have got now material body. It will annihilate. But in the spiritual world, when you have got spiritual body, it does not annihilate. Eternal life
- Sat-nyasa, to sacrifice everything . . . sacrifice means nothing to be sacrificed, but sacrifice the sense of, "I am the Lord." That's all. What you have got you can sacrifice? This is simply a bluff, sacrifice
- Satyabhama's father made a bet that "I have got these bulls, one dozen bull, very strong. And the boy who will be able to break the horns of these bulls, I will offer my daughter to him." So whole world will fail. It is not so easy job. But Krsna did it
- Security is a problem. Everyone in this material world, they have got four problems: how to eat, how to sleep, how to have sex, and how to become secure
- See from practical what Vivekananda has done? But they have made propaganda, false propaganda - they have got roads. In a city like Bombay, big road, Vivekananda. But they do not care what Vivekananda has done
- Sevonmukhe hi jihvadau. Jihvadau. Jihvadau means "Beginning with the tongue." We have got senses, all senses - eyes, ears, touch - so many senses. But begin with the sense, tongue. Try to control the tongue and engage in Krsna's service
- She has got the tendency to become a perfect devotee. As a father and mother you should not hamper it. Because it is not easy to become a devotee
- Simple thing. Chant Hare Krsna, dance, and take krsna-prasadam. And if you are not educated, you are illiterate, hear. Just you have got natural gift, ear. You have got natural tongue
- Simply you have to consult authorized books, you get learned yourself
- Since born one is taken care, he thinks "Now, I have got so comfortable life." And again becomes old, disgusted, so he cannot live disgusting, therefore Krsna is so kind: "All right, change body again"
- Sixty years, they could not do any of these books. And still they are envious. Within sixty years they could not attract any foreign student or any book published. And still, they are proud. They have got all the blessings of Bhaktisiddhanta
- So either you have got problem of food grains or problem of hippies, but the problem is there. A different feature only. Therefore one should be very much careful to know how to solve the problem
- So far Calcutta branch is concerned, it cannot be closed. It must be maintained. You have got permits for five men, and all of these men must go to Mayapur immediately and perform Sankirtan day and night
- So far material body is concerned, you cannot change the quality. This is already. One has got the particular type of body by nature's arrangement according to the quality
- So far our economic condition is concerned, as I explained yesterday, that one is destined to certain material comforts and discomforts, according to his body - already he has got

- So long the life is there, everyone is thinking, "I have got this responsibility. I have got this responsibility. I have got this responsibility," and they are working very, very hard and doing all nonsense
- So long there is deliberation of sinful and pious activities, that is called karma. Karma has got two results, either suffering or enjoying. Of course, in this material world there is no enjoyment. But with the hope of enjoyment, we agree to suffer
- So long we have got this body we have to do something. Without doing something we cannot live. The material world will not allow you, that you cannot do anything and you'll be provided
- So long we have got this body, material body, we must be unhappy. First of all, we must try to understand why we are unhappy. We are unhappy because we are in this material body
- So long we have got this human intelligence, we should utilize it for the highest perfectional stage of life. That is Krsna consciousness
- So long we have got this material body the problems of birth, death, old age, and disease will continue. Therefore, to help the devotees when they're in bodily ailments is also a great great service
- So long we have got this material body, we have got particular type of occupational duty. We are preaching to the world not any occupational duty, but we are preaching eternal duty
- So long we have got this material body, we have to eat. We cannot starve. That is not possible. Similarly, we have to take rest, sleeping; we have to enjoy or give satisfaction to our senses; and similarly, we have to defend. This is called visaya
- So long we have got this material body, we have to work. We cannot stop working. That is not possible
- So many different varieties of living entities, and they have got different demands, different necessities - everything is supplied by Visnu. Eko yo bahunam vidadhati kaman. That is God

- So we have got very short-cut criterion to understand a rascal and intelligent man. What is that? If he is a devotee of Krsna, then he is intelligent man. If he is not, then he's rascal. That's all
- So we should understand that we have got a separate business, real business. That is called self-realization, that "I am not this body." This is self-realization. That is being instructed by Krsna in the beginning, that "You are not this body"
- So we, of course, we are not so advanced, but we have got many examples of advanced devotees. Still there are in India. You will find in Vrndavana and other places. Actually, they have no means - simply depending
- Society must be divided into four classes. As we have got four divisions in brahmana, ksatriya, vaisya, sudra must be there. And each one should serve according to his guna-karma, quality and capacity to work

- Sometimes they put forward this argument that "You are also eating vegetables. They have got life. Why you object that nonvegetarians who are eating four legged animals...?"
- Sometimes we find a small full-stop-like creature moving on the page of the, on a leaf of the book. You cannot see it, but it is moving. That small creature also has got heart
- Sometimes we see that a poor man, working very, very hard, he becomes a millionaire. There are many instances. But that is tapasya. The result is you have got millions of dollars, but you cannot enjoy it
- Sometimes when you open your book you find. They are called bookworm, they're very small, but it is moving. And because it is moving, from biological study we must conclude that it has got a heart
- Sound, light, and transmission of sound and light, there are so many things, electronics. So this sound vibration, this is material sound. They have got so much wonderful power. And just try to understand what is the power of the spiritual sound
- Sparrows, the pigeons, they're having sex life three hundred times daily, you see, although they are very vegetarian. And the lion is not vegetarian, but it has got sex life only once in a year. So it is not the question of vegetarian or nonvegetarian
- Spirit soul, he has got hands and legs and everything. That is body. Form means hands and legs, not without form
- Spiritually, when you get your spiritual body, there is no such material inconveniences. The material inconveniences means so long you have got this material body, you are subjected to birth, death, old age and disease

- Surakrtam means things becoming impure simply by touching liquor. Liquor is so impure. Just like you have got a very big pot of milk, but if you put one drop of wine in it, it becomes immediately impure. You can analyze chemically - immediately impure
- Sutra means codes. Just like they have got code book. One word, it is meaning so many other things. Businessmen, they have got codes. When they send cable to their customer or to their principle, they use some codes
- Sva-dharma means everyone has got some specific duty, occupation. Everyone
- Svanusthitasya dharmasya, everyone has got a specific duty. So one has to see that by his specific duty, entrusted with or discharging that duty, whether Krsna is being satisfied. That's all

- Tamo-gunas, the persons who are in the darkness of knowledge, they have got their faith. It is not that they have no faith. They have got faith. But that faith is in the lowest status of life. That faith will not help him for spiritual realization

- The iccha and dvesa according to the body. The pig has got the desire to eat the stool. That is his iccha. And he has got a dvesa for the halava, while a gentlemen, advanced gentlemen, he has got the iccha for halava, not for the stool

- The poor man has got only rickshaw, and the rich man has got a Rolls Royce car because he has paid more. Similarly, if your work is nice, then you are promoted, promoted to higher standard of life, just like in the heaven

- There are different types of religions, originally on some philosophical basis. So let them remain. We have nothing to bother or fight with them, because after all, every religion has got some good motive to elevate the person to a certain stage
- There are innumerable planets, and beyond the planets, there are spiritual world. So yogis, they have got information. How they have got information? From the scriptures, from Vedic literature, they have got
- There are many instances. Just like Bharata Maharaja, he got the body of a deer. There are so many instances. So it is not a permanent settlement that once you have got this human form of body we cannot glide down. We can glide down
- There are many organization of smugglers, black market, thieves. They have got brain to organize. Without brain they cannot organize
- There are many scriptures in the world. The Hindus have got the Vedas; the Christians have got the Bible; the Muslims, they have got Koran. Now, if you read all these scriptures, you will find something contradictory. Just like animal killing
- There are six points of surrender unto Krsna. One point of surrender is to believe that "Krsna will protect me." Just like a small child has got full faith in his mother: "My mother is there. There is no danger." Confident. I have seen it

- These are the qualifications, symptoms of guru. Sabde pare ca nisnatam. He has got full knowledge in the transcendental science, and without book, how he has got knowledge? Or without hearing from another authority
- These four Kumaras, they were vastly learned, and they..., first they preached the philosophical way of understanding the Absolute Truth. Sanakadye. Later on, they become devoted, devotees, and they have got a sampradaya
- These hands and legs are there because originally we are spirit soul, we have got hands and legs. This is the proof that we are not formless
- These people are working so hard because they have got the aim, "I will enjoy sex life." Just like in your country, the hippies. They have given up everything, but sex is there. They cannot give it up
- These rascals are blind, and they are leading some other blind men, and they are satisfied that "We have got all scientific knowledge." That's all. That is not the way of scientific knowledge

- They (the western civilization) have got some vague idea of God, practically no idea. But human life is not meant for that purpose, simply living very comfortably in material life. The other necessity is that they should know Bhagavan, become bhagavata
- They are also life - the fruits, the vegetables, the food grains, the milk, the sugar. They have got enough food value, and the human being should be satisfied within this group
- They are forgetful of Krsna. They do not know what is God, therefore they say that God is dead, there is no God, God is impersonal. So many theories they have got. Actually, they have no idea what is God
- They are making so many arrangements and plans how to become happy, how to become peaceful, without any miserable condition, but the rascals, they do not know that so long you have got this material body - you must have to suffer
- They do not know that they are spoiling their life. They are thinking that, "I've got very nice apartment, very nice car, very nice wife, very nice income, very nice social position." So many things. These are the material attraction
- They have got different dresses. So Kali-yuga, simply by dress, he becomes a brahmacari, he become a grhastha, he becomes a sannyasi, simply by dress. What he is acting, nobody cares, that's all
- They have got money, they want to pay somebody some fees, and if he says that, "I'll give you some mantra and you will, fifteen minutes' meditation, within six months you'll become God," these things they want
- They have got so much transcendental spiritual pleasure, this sex pleasure - they are astonished: is that pleasure? Phu! (makes spitting sound) That stage is possible. Still there are so many brahmacaris. So everything depends on practice
- They have got some university degrees, but actually they are rascal, less than an ass
- They have got their other worshipable. There is Jesus Christ, and others. Mostly they are coming from Christian family. Why they should agree to worship Krsna? No, it is there already
- They have got university degrees. But why they do not do it? They are supposed to be very culturally advanced. So the answer is given there in the Bhagavad-gita, mayayapahrta-jnana asuram bhavam asritah (BG 7.15). Because their intention is to deny God

- Those who are not self-realized, they have got many questions and many answers. And those who are . . . one who is self-realized, he has only one question and one answer. One question, that - What I am
- Those who are thinking of first of all analyzing Krsna, whether He's God, they are not first-class devotee. Those who have got spontaneous love for Krsna, they are first-class devotees. How you will analyze Krsna? He's unlimited. It is impossible
- Those who are vegetarians. They may think that, "We are not killing animals." No. They are also committing sins, because vegetables, they have also got life
- Those who have attained yogic perfection, they cannot desire like God, but almost. Wonderful things... A yogi, if he has got perfection, if he desires something, that "I want this," immediately it is there
- Those who have got background of pious life. So even one goes to the church, "God, give us our daily bread," he's not ordinary person. He's pious man. He has gone to God to ask. He has not gone to anyone
- Those who have got brain, they will worship Visnu. Yajna means to satisfy Visnu. Yajnaih sankirtana-prayaih. Visnur aradhyate pumsam nanyat tat-tosa . . . the whole aim is to satisfy Visnu
- Those who have not surrendered to Krsna, they are four classes, means most sinful, and rascal, lowest of the mankind, and although he has got university degrees, his knowledge is taken away by maya. Asurim bhavam asritah
- Tiger can kill many animals. Does it mean it is very important animal? No. It has no use in the society. Undoubtedly, it is very powerful. It has got the good weapons to fight and it can kill many. These are not qualifications for good men or good society
- To become impotent is not good, but you have got full potency, but you can have sex life when it is required. To become impotent is not required. You should be fully potent, but not misuse it. That is required
- To become under the lotus feet of Sri Krsna Caitanya Mahaprabhu means you have got Krsna. You have already got. That is the verdict of the sastra and Caitanya-caritamrta
- To bring these fools and rascals from the pravrtti-marga to nivrtti-marga, this is Krsna consciousness. Therefore we have got . . . (indistinct) . . . sense gratification. Then we cannot imitate. That is the whole Vedic process
- To do to the humanity - and cut the throat of the animal. What is this philosophy, nonsense philosophy? They have no conception of God. If he has got conception of God, then everyone - panditah sama-darsinah

- To know the Absolute Truth is not possible by our present senses. Because at the present moment we have got material . . . materially affected; not material senses. Our sense are originally spiritual, but it is covered by material contamination
- To love God, you don't require any education, don't require any rubber stamp. God is one, and you are part and parcel of God. You try to love. You have got the loving propensity. You love God, and you'll be satisfied, you'll be happy
- To maintain the family, that is my duty. As comfortably as possible. That is my duty. One does not think that this kind of duty is performed even by animals. They have got also children, and they feed. So what is the difference?
- To stop this material work is good, but where is the positive engagement? Unless you have got positive engagement, you cannot stop yourself. You become mad
- To waste time is not at all good. Na sadhu manye. Why it is not good? Because we have got this miserable condition of life, this body . . . this is due to our past action
- Today I have got this body, Indian; tomorrow I may get American. Tomorrow means next birth. Next birth another, next birth another, next birth another - it is going on, going on. There is no stoppage, this transmigration of the soul
- Today we find that our this small endeavor to preach this Hare Krsna mantra is not very successful. But it has got the potency if the workers try for it
- Tongue has got two functions, namely to vibrate to speak something, and to taste something. So you engage. You simply engage your tongue for chanting and glorifying Krsna, and eat prasadam, then the two tongue's business will be finished
- Try to understand the word dharma, that it cannot be changed. Similarly, we living entities, we have got a dharma, or religion. That we cannot change. What is that? A living entity is servant

- Under certain percentage we have got independence. And that independence we can use properly or misuse it also. When we misuse, then we become krpana, the miser. And when we use it properly, then we become brahmana
- Unfortunately, no education is there to understand this science. So in other words, it may be taken that the modern civilization is killing the prerogative of the human being. He has got a chance to understand himself and to stop
- Unfortunately, those who are born in rich family, they take advantage of it that "I have got so much money, let me enjoy sense gratification." Maya dictates, "Oh, you have got so much money. Utilize for wine, woman." That's all
- Unfortunately, we have got departments of knowledge in our educational system, but actually there is no department of knowledge where Krsna consciousness is taught scientifically. That is a great necessity of the present day
- Unfortunately, we have got technology for the bodily senses, we have got technology for psychology, but we have neither any technology for intelligence nor for any technology in the science of the soul
- Unless one becomes little advanced, one has got little taste in devotional service, they cannot give up these material comforts. The Gosvamis are the best example
- Unless one has got clear brain, unless has actually the senses, purified, one cannot take the lessons of the Krsna consciousness movement
- Unless one has got complete knowledge, how he can say things complete? It is not the so-called scientist: "perhaps," "it may be." No, not that kind of knowledge, simply theorizing, "It may be like that." No
- Unless one has got family affection, love for wife, children, he cannot work. That is the impetus for economic development. It is admitted by big, big economists

- Unless you are perfect in knowledge, you cannot say that you are in knowledge. Time, everyone has got the chance. In time he will be in perfect knowledge. There is no disagreement. But so long he is imperfect, he must admit that he is imperfect
- Unless you have got faith in the Vedic knowledge, you cannot make any progress. That is not possible. If you, with your poor fund of knowledge, you want to interpret, from the very beginning there is no question of progress
- Unmarried man, because he has got no responsibility, he commits all kinds of sinful activity. That's a fact. Therefore in our Krsna consciousness movement we do not allow such illicit sex life, no. You must get yourself married
- Upadhi means designation. So somebody, if gives me title, Sir Anatole, or this or that, oh, I become very happy: "Oh, I have got this 'sir' title." But I forget that this is my designation. It will exist so long I have got this body
- Uttisthatah jagratah prapta-varam nibodhata: "You have got now human being form of life. Now get up and make your life successful by spiritual realization." This is our message. Sarve sukhino bhavantu. By spiritual realization everyone will become happy

- Vairagya means when you are not addicted to sinful life. That is vairagya. People have got attachment for sinful activities
- Vaisnava has no unhappiness because he has got Krsna
- Veda means knowledge, and anta means last stage, or end. Everything has got some end. So you are being educated. You are taking education. Where it shall end? That is called Vedanta. Where the ultimate point
- Vedanta is the compilation by Vyasadeva. So he knows what, what he wants to speak. What others have got the right? Just like Bhagavad-gita. The purpose of Bhagavad-gita is known by Krsna. Why the rascals comment in different way?
- Very good facility for driving motorcar, and they have got enough motorcar also. Every third man has got a car. But what are these civilization? Kama and lobha, lustiness and greediness. That's all
- Vidya-kule ki koribe tar. Somebody may says, - Oh, why he is going to hell? He is so much educated, he has got academic qualification, he has got degrees
- Virahena, always feeling separation of Krsna, this is Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s teaching. Not that "I have got now Krsna." No. Caitanya Mahaprabhu never said. His direct disciples, the Gosvamis, they simply begged separation: Where is Krsna?
- Vita-raga-bhaya-krodha. Here we have got attraction, material, so we have to withdraw this attraction. How it will be possible? If we become more attracted to Krsna, then this attraction will go away
- Vivasvan means the present predominating deity of the sun globe. Just like we have got a president, similarly, but he has got a particular name, similarly, the president of the sun globe is called Surya, Suryadeva. But he has got a particular name

- We (human society) have got extra intelligence. Why this extra intelligence? That is for understanding dharma, religion
- We (Krsna and Arjuna) have got very intimate relationship. Not only we are friends, but we have got family relationship. So therefore I am speaking you about the truth, that there are two classes of living beings. - divine nature & demonic
- We (part and parcel of krsna) are not working according to our particular duty. Just like this finger is part and parcel of my body. It has got a particular duty: to serve the whole body. When it is unable to do it - it is painful
- We are a Society, so the grhasthas are there, brahmacaris, sannyasis, vanaprastha. All status of life. Missionaries, they have got only sannyasis. We have got all
- We are busy always, but the animals are also busy for eating, sleeping, mating, and defending, but they have no problem. We have got problems
- We are claiming college students, university students, because we are presenting religion on the basis of philosophy and logic. We are not blindly following. We have not dogmatism. We have got reason, philosophy, and everything, science
- We are engaged in this unreal body, sense gratification. We have got senses. So therefore Bhagavad-gita says, sukham atyantikam yat tad atindriya-grahyam (BG 6.21). Atindriya-grahyam. Beyond the senses
- We are family members of Krsna, not void. That is another rascaldom. Why Krsna should be alone? He is so powerful, He is so opulent, have you got any experience that a powerful person, opulent person, is alone
- We are in this material ocean. Life after life we are struggling. So now we have got a nice boat, this human body. Sulabham sudurlabham. And it is specially advantageous because the breeze is very favorable
- We are not meant for going to the cinema or for other sense gratification purposes, but because we have got this body, there is no question that we shall stop eating. We eat prasadam, krsna-prasadam, and that is very palatable
- We are not proprietor. We have got the right to use them, the things which are given by God to us. We shall have the right to use them, but we are not proprietor. So that is real knowledge
- We are not zero. We have got our spiritual body but very, very small. Very small. The measurement is given: one ten-thousandth part of the tip of the hair. Very minute
- We are part and parcel of God, a minute particle; still, we have got so many potencies. Every man, not only man, the animals also, they have got various potencies, creative energy. So just imagine how much creative energies and potencies are there in God
- We are part and parcel of God. We have got little independence. But if we misuse it, then we shall be punished. So there is no question of independence. Independence, little; that is interdependence, not independence
- We are part and parcel of the Supreme Person therefore we have got all the propensities and qualities of God but very minute quantity. That minute quantity is also now covered by this material energy. That is our position
- We are proud, "I have got my hand. I have got my eyes." What is the use of your eyes? Unless God helps you to see, what is the value of your eyes?
- We are recommending chanting of the holy name of God. If the Muslim or Japanese or the Christian, they have got the holy name of God, that is also as good
- We are sons of God, part and parcels of God, and God means almighty. So we have got almighty father, and leaving His place, I have come to this material world to enjoy independently. That is criminality. And we are suffering
- We are sons of God, therefore we have got right to enjoy the property of God. That is real peace
- We are struggling. I have got income, say two hundred dollars, so that is not sufficient for me. So I am struggling hard to get five hundred dollars, to avoid this painful situation. Again when in five hundred dollars I feel another pain
- We are supremely under control. So therefore we have got certain obligation. Just like we are controlled by the government. So we have got some obligation also, to pay tax to the government, the income tax
- We are thinking that "I'm enjoying," but that is not ananda. This ananda is not fact, because we cannot enjoy this material sense pleasure for long. Everyone has got experience. It is finished. But spiritual enjoyment does not finish. It increases
- We are thinking, because we have got this motorcar instead of a bullock cart, we are advanced in civilization. That is the mistake
- We are trying to create a position that not only the Indians have got this responsibility, but according to Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, anyone - prthivite ache yata nagaradi grama (CB Antya-khanda 4.126) - they should take up this missionary work
- We are trying to understand the source of Krsna because we have no other experience. We have got only experience that everything has got a source
- We are very small, but we can become the greatest, almost as good as God, if we engage ourself in the transcendental loving service of the Lord. You have got best example. Just like Lord Jesus Christ

- We cannot chalk out what is the path of religion. It is very difficult to find out, because there are many different scriptures and there are many philosophers. Nasau munir yasya matam na bhinnam. Each philosopher has got different opinion
- We cannot claim that we can enjoy everything in this world. Although we have got the desire, but limited power to enjoy. The unlimited enjoyer is Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- We cannot see mind. We know that mind is there in every soul, every body. Every one of us has got mind, but we cannot see. We cannot see the sky. So the..., in the material world also, there are so many finer things which we cannot see
- We cannot simply give up. As it is said, that tyakta-karmanah, give up everyone, engagement, and tyakta-svajana-bandhavah . . . you'll become mad if you give up all these things, unless you have got staunch faith in Krsna
- We cannot understand. Krsna is unlimited; we are limited. Still, whatever limited power we have got, we can understand Krsna if we follow the sastra, sadhu and guru. Sadhu-sastra-guru-vakya tinete kariya aikya
- We commit mistake, we are illusioned, our senses are imperfect and we have got a cheating propensity. We are possessing these four defects. However great a man may be, he makes mistake in calculation. To err is human
- We do not accept any principle of religion as genuine if we see that the followers have no love of God but they have got love of matter. We testify the, I mean to say, bona fides of a religious principle
- We do not know what is the constitutional position of Krsna and what is my constitutional position. That is called sambandha-jna. My relationship with Krsna. Everyone of us has got a relationship

- We have got a particular position in the body of the Supreme Lord. Just consider the visva-murti, the gigantic universal form of the Lord. And we are situated in different parts of the body of the Supreme Lord
- We have got abhadrani, so many inauspicious things, within our heart. This can be cleansed simply by hearing the message of Krsna from Srimad-Bhagavatam, from Bhagavad-gita, from the lips of devotees
- We have got all the information, that what is the spiritual world, what is the material world, why we are in the material world, why we are subjected under birth, death, old age and disease. So as we go on hearing, nityam bhagavata . . . in the Bhagavata

- We have got desires, different types of desires. The 8,400,000 bodies means at least we have got 8,400,000 different types of desires. That we have to learn from authorities like Krsna. Therefore He says: "You try to understand." You cannot speculate
- We have got different senses: our touch, our smell - so many things. All our senses are working under incompetence. Incompetence
- We have got economic problems. We are trying for developing our economic condition. What is that economic condition? Eating, sleeping, mating, and defending
- We have got everything in India, and to become God conscious, to establish the Lord's kingdom, not at all difficult. But we manufacture our own ideas. But we want that rama-rajya, but without Rama. How rama-rajya will be there?
- We have got everything perfectly in the Vedic literature. The Krsna consciousness movement is trying to educate people on this principle. We are not manufacturing anything. That is not our business. Because we know we are imperfect
- We have got experience that if we infect some disease, contaminous disease, then we must suffer from that disease. So it is not God's creation that somebody is suffering from some painful condition and somebody is enjoying. No
- We have got five kinds of direct relationship, and there are seven kinds of indirect relationship. That is not on the platform of love. That is on the platform of enmity. Just like Kamsa
- We have got good brain. Instead of utilizing the brain to know what is the active principles of this whole universe, if we utilize that brain for manufacturing a watch, that is not very good proposal

- We have got many necessities of life, not only grains. We require cotton for clothing. We require silk for luxury. We require valuable stones and jewels. All these are produced under certain circumstances of rain
- We have got many senses, sense organs, but devotional service begins from the tongue, jihva, jihvadau, by chanting. It is very difficult subject matter, but it is made easy
- We have got medical science for this body, we have got psychology for the mind - everything we've got - but where is the science of the soul, which is moving the body and the mind? Where is that science
- We have got minute quantity of Krsna's qualities because we are minute particles of Krsna, but that is now covered by maya. This maya means . . . when we forget our actual relationship with Krsna, that is called maya, false egotism

- We have got so many books, so many newspapers, so many magazines, we hear and read. But we are not interested in hearing Bhagavad-gita or Srimad-Bhagavatam, where atma-tattvam, the science of soul, is described
- We have got so many desires, but if we have got staunch faith at the lotus feet of guru, everything will be fulfilled automatically. Ye prasade pure sarva asa
- We have got so many duties, but in this age, we have lost everything. Therefore, our only duty is to surrender unto the lotus feet of Mukunda, Krsna. That will save us
- We have got so many wants, because we are imperfect. Especially in this material condition, we have got so many demands, wants, because we are living in an atmosphere which is imperfect. But Krsna is perfect, purnam

- We have got these two big oceans, Atlantic and Pacific ocean. Just imagine that within this universe, millions and millions of planets are floating. How many Atlantic and Pacific oceans are there you can just imagine
- We have got this body produced, or born, at a certain date. It keeps, sustains, for a certain period - say fifty years, sixty years or a hundred years, utmost - and then again it is destroyed
- We have got this gross body, and when the gross body is finished, then I keep myself in this mental body. That is called ghostly body
- We have got this human form of body, it is your duty to inquire about the spiritual subject matter. But if your guardians, if your parents, if your government does not teach you, then it is our misfortune
- We have got this nice body, human form of life, with an advanced consciousness. Just merge it into Krsna consciousness and be happy. This is the sum and substance of this movement
- We have got two business - socati, kanksati: desiring for things which we do not possess and lamenting for things which we have lost. But if you become self-realized, if you become aware actually what you are, then na socati na kanksati

- We have got very nice example that in political field there are parties. Unless you belong to some party, you cannot stand for election. Similarly, if one person who desires to advance in spiritual life, he must take initiation from the sampradaya
- We have no quarrel with the nonvegetarians, because vegetable also has got life. The plants, the grass, the trees, the fruits, the flowers, they have also life. They are not dead. So simply becoming vegetarian is no great qualification
- We have taken this business that preach that there is God. We have got an intimate relationship with God. So if you act, act accordingly, then you will be happy. This is our Krsna consciousness movement

- What capacity we have got to find out Krsna by research work? That's not possible. That is aksaja. Krsna is adhoksaja. Your paltry research work with limited power of sense, how you can find out Krsna? That's not possible
- What eyes you have got to see God? You cannot see yourself, and what to speak of seeing God?
- What is religious fight? Religious fight means you have got right to kill your aggressor. If somebody takes your property, if somebody sets fire in your house, if somebody kidnaps your wife or somebody is trying to kill you, they are called aggressor
- What is that Durga? Durga is the material nature, very powerful. Srsti-sthiti-pralaya-sadhana-saktih. She has got the power of creating, maintaining and dissolving. She is so powerful. You have seen Durga's picture. She has got ten hands
- What is the difference between dog and me? The only difference is that dog has no religion; I've got religion. So if I give up religion, life of religiosity, then I am equal to dharmena hinah pasubhih samanah
- What is the meaning of living being? Dull matter, it has no independence. Even it is a big mountain or big thing, it has no independence. It will stand still. But a small ant, even a microbe, it has got independence because it is living creature
- What is the problem of life? Not that "I have got some pain here, I have some trouble or some . . ." These are not problems. This problem one should tolerate
- What is the rightful ownership of the living entity? That is to be understood. Birthright, what is called birthright. Just like everyone has got right to live under the protection of the government
- What is the use of becoming a renouncer? After all, you have got this body. How can you renounce it? Either you cover it with underwear or either you cover it with costly dress, you have to cover it. So that covering also belongs to Krsna
- What is the use of this human form of life? The cats and dogs, they have got body. They have also will meet death. And I have got body; I will also meet death. So am I meant for meeting death like cats and dogs? Then what kind of human being I am?
- What power you have got to see, first of all consider. Then you'll see God. You cannot see even what ordinary things, what to question of seeing God
- What symptoms you accept that I have got soul? First of all you have to ascertain that
- What the American boys have got to dance for Krsna unless it is from the heart? They are not dancing dogs, that I have trained them and they are dancing
- What we have got to offer Krsna? Everything belongs to Krsna. Now we have offered these fruits. Do the fruits belong to us? Who has produced these fruits? Have I produced
- Whatever body we have got, it will be finished after some years, and it will never come in existence. It was never in existence before, neither it will again come into existence
- Whatever he has got, I take it away. Then he tries again to accumulate some money. Again I take it away. In this way, he tries; I take away. When he becomes confused and baffled, he fully surrenders unto Me - Krsna
- Whatever spiritual culture they have got, still they are happier than others. In India still in village you'll find a man with practically no income but he has got his happy home, good wife, a cottage, little bread, but he is happy

- When you have got very nice foodstuff, and a very nutritious, palatable, sweet, why should you indulge in this unnecessary killing of animals? That is . . . will go against your purification. Therefore it is prohibited
- Whenever in the scripture it is said that God is without form, that means He has no form which we have got experience. But He has got form. Just the same example. When you cannot measure, you say a point has no length, no breadth
- Whenever we speak of asrama, it has got spiritual relationship. So all these four divisions of social orders - brahmacari-asrama, grhastha-asrama, vanaprastha-asrama, sannyasa-asrama . . . asrama
- Where is the original source of creation? Janmady asya yatah - from where janma, sthiti and pralaya is taking place. That we have got experience
- Where you have got bhakti? "Now, I have got very much bhakti to my wife. I love her very much. I take care of her. If I do not see her, I become mad." So this kind of bhakti is not explained here - SB 3.25.18
- Wherever there is human being, they require this education (of Krsna consciousness). And it is the India's duty. Because India has got the opportunity to be spiritually advanced by the grace of learned, saintly persons
- Which Brahma? Oh, I am so powerful. I have got four heads. I have created this gorgeous universe, and under me there are so many demigods. How is that? 'Which Brahma?' So all right, Krsna has asked. Tell Him that
- Who has got many subject matter for hearing? Now, apasyatam atma-tattvam: those who are blind, those who cannot see what is the purpose of life. For them. For them
- Who is a saint? A saint is called who is very tolerant, tolerant - tolerant to the utmost. You have got very good example of Lord Jesus Christ, a great saint or sadhu also. He was, of course, more than sadhu

- Who will live up to sixteen years? Begin (KC) immediately. You have got this chance of human form of life. That is the duty of the father and mother. "All right, here is a child. Let him take a little prasadam." All right. Little beginning
- Why do they not take the daridra-narayanas in the big, big building they have got? Their mission is daridra-narayana seva. Why they are not doing that
- Why he (Brahma) is in this material world? Because he has got some desire that "I shall be the master of a brahmanda." Just like everyone is trying to become the master of his house or the society or the community or the country
- Why human being, so-called civilized human being, is so much harassed for these four things? We have got better intelligence
- Why should you kill animals? You have got sufficient grains, sufficient food, sufficient milk, and is it very nice thing that you take milk from the cow, who is your mother, and kill at the same time? Is that very good reason
- Why should you say, "Oh, I am Christian. I am Jew. I cannot attend your meeting." Why should you say, "Oh, I cannot allow you to speak in my church." If I am speaking about God, what objection you have got?
- Why the cow is not national? She's also born in the land, so she's as important a national as you are. Krsna has given her the grass to eat. She's not interfering with your food. Why? What right you have got to kill?
- Why there are so many varieties of life? Because he has associated with a particular type of modes of nature and he has got the body
- Why we have got different bodies, different types of bodies? Because the condition of the seed is different
- Why we should treat the animals as different? Because there is no KC. I have got my consciousness that, "The human beings in America are my brothers, or my countrymen. They should be given all protection." And why not cows? They are also born in America
- Why you are working so hard, sir? - "I will enjoy sex at night. This is my ambition." - Oh, very good ambition. This ambition the dogs also have got. So why you are working so hard?
- Why you have got different types of bodies? We have manufactured it. God has given us facility. I wanted to become such and such. He has given us facilities, - All right, you become such and such
- Why you have got varieties of life, varieties of position? It is destined. Visayah khalu sarvatah syat (SB 11.9.29). Visaya, these material enjoyment - means eating, sleeping, mating and defending - only standard is different
- Why you should hanker after another? You have got already. Be satisfied. "No." That is doggish mentality
- With your money, with your intelligence, with your power, with your influence, whatever you have got. Education, departmental knowledge. Try to glorify the Supreme Lord. Then it is perfect
- Within the heart. If you push your hand within his heart, you'll find he has got all desires for material enjoyment. That is called phalgu vairagya. On the surface there is no water; sand. But within, oh, there is flow of water, going on
- Within this material world there is one Siddhaloka. Siddha, carana. They are called siddha, means all the yogic mystic powers they have got naturally
- Within this universe, only Brahma has got four heads. And Lord Siva sometimes exhibits five heads
- Without devotional service, without being Krsna conscious, one is surely to become falsely puffed up. Why he (Sridhara Swami) says? - Because he has got his bodily concept of life
- Without faith we cannot step forward even in our daily life. If we have got faith in ordinary dealings, don't you think that we must have very good faith when we are making progress in spiritual line? But faith should not be blind. Blind faith is useless

- You are a very prominent country all over the world - America. You have got your prestige as the richest nation. Not only that: you are advanced in economic development, scientific development
- You are authority, and if you recommend animal sacrifice, they will take it. They have got already natural tendency, and they will accept it, - This is the religious process
- You are defective in four ways. "To err is human." You must commit mistake; you must be illusioned; your senses are imperfect; and you have got a cheating propensity. These four defects are there
- You are fallen means you have got some certain desires except service of Krsna. Therefore the conclusion is that if you keep yourself tightly in Krsna's service, there is no question of falling down or there is no question of maya

- You can give guest nice foodstuff, but even if you have got nothing at your home, this thing you can offer without any expenditure, without any botheration: to receive him, "Please come on, come here, sit down. Take a glass of water"
- You can hear anywhere. There is no specific mention that it can be heard in such and such place. You can anywhere. But a holy place like Vrndavana, the hearing has got a special effect

- You have got now this human form of life, a great boon, not like animals. Please do not therefore waste your time sleeping like animals simply in the matters of eating, sleeping, mating and defending. That is the verdict of Vedas
- You have got opulence. You have got money. You have got intelligence. Utilize it for Krsna. Then it is successful
- You have got practical experience that if you violate the law of the state you become criminal and punished. But if the cats and dogs or animals, they violate the law, they are not punishable

- You mentioned that you are not yet a very bold preacher, but you will become bold, if you've got sincerity. In the beginning also I could not speak. But Krsna is within you, & when you're serving Him sincerely He'll give you courage, boldness, everything
- You must think of your health. I had already noticed a deterioration when I was in N.Y., and now you say it has gotten worse. That is not good, and you must correct it. So do the needful
- You see the cranes. They have got big beaks. Why? Because they have to catch fish from within the water, so the beak must be very long. So there is facility
- You so-called, advanced civilized man, for your sex life, you have to go to the skyscraper building, and we can do it on the street, on the park. We have got better facilities. Why shall I accept your philosophy. - They (hippies) will say, like that
- You want to satisfy your sex? All right. You have got legitimate wife. - "No. I want to satisfy my senses." Therefore illicit sex is sinful
- You were saying that Krsna is within the heart, but who is seeing? It is seen by the bhakti-yogis, because he has got love for Krsna. A bhakta is always seeing, - Krsna is within me
- You'll find big, big businessmen, they have got very, very long project, "How to do this? How to do this? How to increase this factory? How to make it world-renowned?" and so on, so on, so on. There is no limit of anxiety
- Your business is not finished. Because you are human being, you have got advanced intelligence than the cats and dog. You should know analytically what are the miserable condition of life and try to solve. That is intelligence
- Your coat is cut according to your body. Similarly, this material body is cut according our spiritual body. So we have got our spiritual body. This material body is covering
- Your educational system, in the Western countries, the . . . you have got big, big universities. Why the university students becoming hippies?
- Your speaking shall be accepted, and Krsna's speaking will be rejected? I have got some support, but what support you have got except your statement? Then everyone can give a statement and he becomes an authority
