- My Spiritual Master used to send preachers who were all in the renounced order of life (sannyasis), but I am doing a completely different process - namely, preparing some young couples of husband and wife to take up this job
N
- Nanda Maharaja did not like the idea of avoiding the purificatory process. Despite the many obstacles, he wanted to take advantage of Garga Muni's presence and do what was needed
- Narada is known as the son of Brahma, as Lord Krsna is known as the son of Vasudeva. The Personality of Godhead and His liberated devotees like Narada appear in the material world by the same process
- Narada Muni thought that the Lord could be seen again by the same mechanical process which was successful in the first attempt, but in spite of his utmost endeavor he could not make the second attempt successful
- Narottama dasa Thakura's songs are very appropriate just to the conclusion of Vedic injunctions. So he sings this song (Gauranga Bolite Habe), how one can rise up to transcendental plane for associating directly with Radha & Krsna, what is that process
- Nasta-prayesv abhadresu nityam bhagavata-sevaya (SB 1.2.18). We must regularly hear Srimad-Bhagavatam and chant Hare Krsna; these are the two processes recommended by Caitanya Mahaprabhu
- Naturally one who comes to Krsna consciousness regrets his previous sinful activities in the human form. Only by this process can one be delivered from the clutches of nescience or ignorance in materialistic life
- Neti neti is the analytical process of rejecting matter. By expertly conducting such an analysis, one can understand where the soul is. One who is not expert, however, cannot distinguish gold from earth, nor the soul from the body
- No illicit sex, no. . . This is the method, and chanting is the process. Then you will remain strong. And if you neglect, then you become weak
- No one can be spiritually realized by manufacturing his own process, as is the fashion of the foolish pretenders. BG 1972 purports
- No one can check the thinking activities of a living being, nor the feeling, willing or working processes; but if one wants actual happiness, one must change the subject matter only
- No one in this age can attain the perfectional stage of yoga, but people indulge in practicing sitting postures, which is more or less a gymnastic process
- Not becomes - it (deity) is Krsna. Just like this electric wire - it is electricity. One who knows the process, he can derive electricity out of it. It (deity) is Krsna. But you have to know the process of understanding that it is Krsna. It is Krsna
- Not free slaughterhouse. That you cannot do. Undergoing that process (sacrificing an animal before some demigod), some day he will come to his senses that "Meat-eating and killing of animal is not good"
- Not only is he (a person born in a low caste family) relieved of the sinful reaction, but he immediately achieves the result of all purificatory processes
- Nothing should be accepted which is not recognized. You see? So this (harer nama eva kevalam) is recognized method. Now it depends on us. Let us follow this process and see how we are making progress in the spiritual path
- Now (here in BG 18.66), in summarizing BG, the Lord says that Arjuna should give up all the processes that have been explained to him; he should simply surrender to Krsna. That surrender will save him from all kinds of sinful reactions. BG 1972 purports
- Now I have come to understand the sublime goal of life and the process of achieving it. Nevertheless, I think that there is something more ahead, and My mind is desiring to have it
- Now I have confessed, now I begin new chapter of sinful life. Again I shall confess. - Krsna is not so fool that you can cheat Him by this process. No, that is not possible
- Now on this staircase (process) there are so many people who have reached the first floor, the second or third floor, etc., but unless one reaches the top floor, which is the understanding of Krsna, he is at a lower stage of knowledge. BG 1972 purports
- Now, say, I'll live eighty years. Now I am seventy-one. So after nine years I'll have to change this body. Sure. There is nobody can, by scientific process, can stay here. No. That is not allowed. You have to change your body
- Nowadays people are very much inclined to the meditational process, which is not practical in this age. BG 1972 purports
- Nowadays there are so many rascal gurus who manufacture their mantras as a process for material advancement, not spiritual advancement. Still, the mantra cannot be successful if it is manufactured
O
- O King Pariksit, Diti, the wife of Kasyapa, agreed to undergo the purificatory process known as pumsavana. "Yes," she said, "I shall do everything according to your instructions"
- O Lord of lords, we are completely ignorant of the execution of dharma, artha, kama and moksa, the process of liberation, because we do not actually know the goal of life
- O most fortunate lady, establishing your mind in a good spirit, execute this process of payo-vrata and thus worship the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Kesava, who is inexhaustible
- O my lord, I think that the process manifest in the forms of sons, grandsons and family members has spread all over the universe in different varieties and species
- O Suta Gosvami, there are those amongst men who desire freedom from death and get eternal life. They escape the slaughtering process by calling the controller of death, Yamaraja
- Of course in the modern age one may be amazed how the princes could stand in the water for ten thousand years. However, living within air or living within water is the same process; one simply has to learn how to do it
- Of course, in the categories of mystic perfection there are certain processes which the material scientists have not yet been able to develop
- Of course, it is not possible to take the shelter of Krsna directly. That is not possible. May be possible by Krsna's special mercy, but general process is you have to go through the mercy or process of accepting a guru
- Of course, sacrifice is meant to please Lord Visnu. Yajnaih sankirtana-prayair yajanti hi sumedhasah: (SB 11.5.32) in Kali-yuga, those who are intelligent perform the sankirtana-yajna. One should follow this process conscientiously
- Of course, we cannot be perfect anyway, but they are far, far better than any krsna-bhakta in the world. Even Indians, they say: "Oh, they are better than us." And what is the process? Simply they are chanting Hare Krsna. This is practical
- Of the different processes for realization of the Absolute Truth, bhakti-yoga, devotional service, is the highest. BG 1972 purports
- Of the different processes recommended for disentanglement from material life, the one personally explained and accepted by the SPG should be considered all-perfect. That process is the performance of duties by which love for the Supreme Lord develops
- Of these two (philosophical speculation and Krsna consciousness), the path of Krsna consciousness is better because it does not depend on purifying the senses by a philosophical process. BG 1972 purports
- On the ninth day after the birth of a child the mother would come into the regular rooms (from maternity home) in the ceremony called niskramana. Of the ten purificatory processes, niskramana is one
- On the other hand, those who are not devotees but are engaged in uncertain processes of self-realization, such as jnana, yoga and karma, are understood to be still contaminated
- One can purify the mind either by the breathing process or by the chanting process, just as one can purify gold by putting it in a fire and fanning it with a bellows
- One cannot arouse Krsna consciousness simply by his own mental speculation. One must surrender to a bona fide spiritual master. Only this process will help one
- One cannot come to the precincts of Krsna consciousness unless he touches the dust of the lotus feet of a person who has become a mahatma, a great devotee. This is the beginning of the surrendering process
- One does not have to take to the principles of nonviolence and sense control, although there are rules and regulations for acquiring these qualities in the other processes. Without even practicing these processes a devotee develops all good qualities
- One has to learn Bhagavatam from the representative of Sukadeva Gosvami, and no one else, if one at all wants to see Lord Sri Krsna in the pages. That is the process, and there is no alternative
- One has to take this process, four divisions of varnas and four..., four divisions of social order and four divisions of spiritual order. That is called varnasrama
- One has to take to this process of hari-kirtana. Anyone can take, without any prequalification. You haven't got to study philosophy or Vedanta
- One has to work in Krsna consciousness to satisfy Krsna (or Visnu); and while performing such activities one is in a liberated stage. This is the great art of doing work, and in the beginning this process requires very expert guidance. BG 1972 purports
- One is recommended to take leave of his family and live alone, maintaining body and soul together by begging alms and eating only as much as needed to keep himself alive. Without such a process, one cannot conquer lusty desires
- One may ask that if the Supreme Personality is the ultimate goal and one has to surrender to Him, why are there so many different processes of worship in the world? This question is answered in the next verse - of BG 7.20
- One may externally control the senses by some artificial process, but unless the senses are engaged in the transcendental service of the Lord, there is every chance of a fall
- One may externally control the senses by some artificial process, but unless the senses are engaged in the transcendental service of the Lord, there is every chance of a fall. BG 1972 purports
- One may have faith in a particular process, and he may change this faith and adopt another, but sanatana-dharma refers to that activity which cannot be changed
- One may learn about his relationship with God by any process - through Christianity, through the Vedic literatures or through the Koran - but in any case it must be learned
- One may now ask, How can we get complete information? The process is to receive knowledge via the disciplic succession of spiritual masters and disciples beginning with Krsna
- One may perform good work and take his birth in a very nice material condition, but the process under which birth and death take place is like a terrible fire
- One may sometimes chant with offenses and sometimes without offenses, but if one seriously adopts this process, he will achieve perfection, which cannot be achieved through Vedic ritualistic ceremonies of atonement
- One may take either the step-by-step process or the direct path. The direct process is not possible for everyone; therefore the indirect process is also good
- One may think that unless he is free from all sinful reactions he cannot take to the surrendering process. BG 1972 purports
- One must accept the pure devotee, the representative of God, as one's guru and then offer him all the respects one would offer the Supreme Personality of God. This is the secret of success. For one who adopts this method, the perfect process is revealed
- One must complete the purificatory process by assimilating the contents of the first nine cantos. Then one should be admitted into the realm of the Tenth Canto of Srimad-Bhagavatam
- One philosopher may be a better logician than another, and one philosophical argument may counteract another, but this process goes on and on. It is simply a useless waste of time. Even if we approach Vedic scriptures, there are difficulties
- One process is to find the root of the tree, and next to water the root. The real student of sankhya philosophy finds the root of the material world, Visnu, and then, in perfect knowledge, engages himself in the service of the Lord. BG 1972 purports
- One should be neither pious nor impious. One should be a devotee and surrender to the lotus feet of Krsna. This surrendering process is also very easy. Even a child can perform it
- One should chant the names of the full Panca-tattva and then the sixteen words Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare/ Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare. But these unscrupulous, less intelligent men confuse the entire process
- One should control the sitting posture, regulate the breathing process by the yogic pranayama and thus control the mind and senses and with intelligence apply the mind to the gross potencies of the Lord
- One should know the process of creation and should meditate upon the creative process inversely and thus become free from material contamination
- One should not be disturbed by the action and reaction of these eight gross and subtle material elements. The practical process to attain this stage of indifference is to execute devotional service
- One should not begrudge the selection of one process over another. Visad apy amrtam grahyam amedhyad api kancanam, nicad apy uttamam vidyam stri-ratnam duskulad api - Niti-darpana 1.16
- One should not take the chance of finishing up the process in another birth but should resolve to finish it in this life
- One thing, you must be very careful that we should not divert our attention for money making too much. If we can make money by the process which you have now adopted, that is very nice. But we cannot divert our attention to such things
- One thousand dollar collection, I have to do something and it has come there, it is . . . but the energy is so quick, energy is so perfect, that simply by giving a note and he gets it. You cannot say the process is not there
- One undergoes all these processes (ten kinds of purification) and at last comes to the spiritual master who gives him the sacred thread as recognition of his second birth
- One who has controlled the sitting postures and the breathing process can turn the senses toward the Absolute P of G and thus become immune to the contaminations of the modes of material nature, namely mundane goodness, passion and ignorance
- One who is fit for simply karma-yoga, that process is recommended for him. But if one ultimately wants the supreme benefit, then this is the injunction of Bhagavad-gita, that sarva-dharman parityajya mam ekam saranam vraja
- One who sticks to a particular point and does not make further progress is called by that particular name: karma-yogi, jnana-yogi or dhyana-yogi, raja-yogi, hatha-yogi, etc
- One who sticks to KC purification process, will gradually understand what is God, and our relationship with the SP. This is the perfection of human life. Unfortunately, the people of the so-called modern advanced civilization do not know this
- Only by the yogic process can one prolong the life. By stopping the breathing process, keeping in samadhi, the breath period is not being misused, and he increases the life span. Therefore, destiny can only be changed by devotional service or yoga
- Only for the advanced devotees are these two processes easily executed. The purport is that it is very rare to see surrender which is mixed with sincere ecstatic devotion. One must give himself completely to the will of the Lord
- Originally we are all connected to the Supreme Lord, but now we have been affected by material contamination. The process is that we have to return to the spiritual world, and that process of linking up is called yoga
- Originally you are good. You have become bad on account of the material association. Therefore devotion means to be purified. This is a purificatory process from material contamination
- Other necessities include invoking the different names of the demigods by specific hymns and vows of recompense, in accordance with the particular scripture, for specific purposes and by specific processes
- Other processes, such as jnana and yoga, can be successful only when mixed with bhakti. When we speak of jnana-yoga, karma-yoga and dhyana-yoga the word yoga indicates bhakti
- Our eating process is more decent than the animals. We have got nice kitchen. We can prepare varieties of foodstuff by mixing so many eatables. Because we have got intelligence, we can do
- Our eating process will be similar to His (God's) when we are completely on the spiritual platform. On that platform every part of the body can act on behalf of any other part - CC Intro
- Our eating process will be similar to His when we are completely on the spiritual platform. On that platform every part of the body can act on behalf of any other part
- Our ideal is we are fighting with maya, so the fighting will conquer over maya when we see that we are not disturbed by these four processes: eating, sleeping, mating and defending. This is the test
- Our KC movement adopts this pancaratrika-vidhi, as advised by Sanatana Gosvami: "As bell metal, when mixed with mercury, is transformed to gold, a person, even though not golden pure, can be transformed into a brahmana, simply by the initiation process."
- Our Krsna consciousness movement is no religious movement or any sectarian movement. This movement is to see everyone, every human being - not only human being, even the animals - everyone be happy. Sarve sukhino bhavantu. And the process is very simple
- Our process is deductive. We say that man is mortal, first of all. Therefore John is a man. He is also mortal. This is deductive process. First of all we accept, man is mortal. The inductive process is that "Why shall I accept man is mortal?
- Our process is natural process. You love God, and if you are actually expert in loving God, naturally you love everyone. Just like Krsna conscious person, because he loves God, he loves the animals also. He loves birds, beasts, everyone
- Our process is to accept both the lines of bhagwat marga and pancharatriki marga. Perhaps you might have seen the picture of the Gaudiya mission. On one side there is the bhagwat book and on the other side a picture of Laxmi Narayana for Deity worship
- Our propagation of the sankirtana movement is continuing, despite many opponents, and people are taking up this chanting process even in remote parts of the world like Africa
- Our purpose, mission, is that people may become God conscious. And the process is in this age by chanting the holy name of God
- Our relationship with God is there. One is conscious; another is unconscious. Otherwise, God consciousness is there. Therefore any process that awakens that consciousness, that is perfect process. That is stated in Caitanya-caritamrta, an authorized book
P
- Panca-tapah refers to five kinds of heating processes
- Pancaratriki-vidhi and bhagavata-vidhi go hand in hand. By participating in these two processes, the neophyte can gradually attain the intermediate stage
- Paramatma realization is but partial realization of Vasudeva, and if one is successful in that attempt, one realizes Vasudeva in full. But by ill luck most yogis are stranded by the powers of mysticism achieved through the bodily process
- People misunderstand that Indians have created a caste system. No. That caste system is everywhere - sarvam idam jagat. Not only India, all universe is being conducted by that process
- People should be freed from the entanglement of the three modes of material nature, and the only process by which this is possible is surrender unto the Supreme Personality of Godhead. This is advised in Bhagavad-gita
- Persons learned in the Vedas, who utter omkara & who are great sages in the renounced order, enter into Brahman. Desiring such perfection, one practices celibacy. I (Krsna) shall now explain to you (Arjuna) this process by which one may attain salvation
- Persons learned in the Vedas, who utter omkara and who are great sages in the renounced order, enter into Brahman. Desiring such perfection, one practices celibacy. I (Krsna) shall now explain to you this process by which one may attain salvation
- Persons learned in the Vedas, who utter omkara and who are great sages in the renounced order, enter into Brahman. Desiring such perfection, one practices celibacy. I shall now explain to you this process by which one may attain salvation. BG 8.11 - 1972
- Persons who are simply interested in material enjoyment make plans to execute prescribed duties. They are interested in the three elevating processes of religious rituals, economic elevation and sense enjoyment
- Persons who are unable to realize the transcendental personal form or name of the Lord on account of their imperfect senses are trained to the practice of self-realization by this mechanical process
- Philosophical process . . . you can show by jugglery of words your academic qualification, but it will not take you to the right
- Please stick to this chanting process, sincerely, without any offense, and everything will be all right with you
- Pouring water on the root is the right process to water the tree, as much as feeding the stomach supplies energy to all parts of the body
- Practically speaking, this process is not very easy in this age of Kali. In Srimad-Bhagavatam a description is given of the people of this age. Their duration of life is said to be very short
- Prahlada Maharaja describes this process (the cycle of material sense gratification) as punah punas carvita-carvananam (SB 7.5.30). Materialistic life means chewing the chewed again and again
- Prahlada Maharaja's proposal is that such processes (the ten methods of liberation) may be recommended for the ajitendriya, those who cannot conquer their senses. Devotees, however, have already conquered their senses
- Process is that "By my karma I have become sinful. Now I have got the remedial measure, chanting of Hare Krsna, but I shall not commit again." Then he's successful
- Process of surrender to Krsna
- Puranjana had begotten 1,100 sons within the womb of his wife, and thus passed away half of his life. Actually every man follows a similar process. If one lives for one hundred years, in his family life he simply begets children up to the age of fifty
- Pure devotees like King Kulasekhara are particularly careful to avoid a process that will end in their becoming one with the existence of the Lord, a state known as advandva, nonduality. This is simply spiritual suicide
- Pure devotional service is transcendental in nature, and the systems of yoga and jnana are subordinate to such a process
- Purify the body by taking bath, similarly, the wealth is purified by the charity process, giving it to the brahmins and Vaisnavas. Just like Rupa Gosvami
- Pursuit of the systematic philosophic process called Sankhya is called knowledge and self-revelation
R
- Ramananda raya cited verse from SB 10.14.3: If one cultivates his spiritual life by following these principles and keeping himself on the honest path in life, then although Your Lordship is never conquered, You become conquered by such a process
- Real atonement involves coming to real knowledge, and for this there is a standard process. When one follows a regulated hygienic process, he does not fall sick
- Real civilization is how to understand your relationship with God, the supreme father. That is real civilization. You may learn it through any process. It doesn't matter
- Real purpose of life is not dharma, artha, kama, moksa. And that will be explained here, jivasya tattva-jijnasa: What is the Absolute Truth, what is the aim of life. Then this is the process. Adau sraddha tatah sadhu-sango 'tha bhajana-kriya
- Real yogic process is to find out Paramatma, but side by side, many other dormant powers become awakened. Another example: that tree is producing chemicals. So every living entity has got dormant potencies, more or less
- Reasons and arguments together with the transcendental process of approaching the Absolute Truth help even the staunch impersonalist to become attracted by the personal activities of the Lord
- Recitation and hearing (of the Srimad-Bhagavatam) are two processes out of nine devotional activities, and by strenuously following the principles, either in all or by parts, one can attain the absolute plane
- Regardless of the process (for yoga), once the fire of material life is extinguished, one does not simply experience what is called the impersonal void
- Regardless of whether the chief executive is a king or president, or whether the government is monarchical or democratic, this process (of following in Maharaja Prthu's footsteps) is so perfect that if it is followed, everyone will become happy
- Rejection of the Vedas by Lord Buddha was adopted in order to save people from the vice of animal-killing as well as to save the poor animals from the slaughtering process of their big brothers who clamor for universal brotherhood, peace, justice & equity
- Religion conveys the idea of faith, and faith may change. One may have faith in a particular process, and he may change this faith and adopt another, but sanatana-dharma refers to that activity which cannot be changed. BG 1972 Introduction
- Religion of love is the true religious idea but if the approach is made through the service of mankind only, then the process is made imperfect, partial and unscientific
- Renunciation by itself, the simple giving up of worldly things, is not sufficient. Renunciation may be a helpful process, but it will not help absolutely. When we increase our attachment for Krsna, our renunciation will be perfect
- Revelation is there to fortunate person, one who is very seriously searching after God. God is within himself. He reveals. And the other process is that if you are searching after God, then you know it from the person who has already known God
- Ritualistic performances are in the field of karma. Speculative processes are in the field of jnana. One who has taken to bhakti, the devotional service of the Lord, need have nothing to do with karma or jnana
S
- Sacred centres were meant for diffusing spiritual education and by this process of spiritual culture the disturbed mind could be trained up in concentration for higher duties which every human being must do
- Sages said, "The only process to counteract all sorts of material desires is to engage oneself in the devotional service of Lord Visnu"
- Samadhi, ecstasy. So that ecstasy is immediately brought by this chanting process. You begin chanting and hear for the few seconds or few minutes: you immediately become on the platform of ecstasy
- Sanatana replied, "I shall practice the process of madhukari. Why should I accept full meals in the house of a brahmana"
- Sanatana term is very important. The living entity is sanatana, God is sanatana, the spiritual world is sanatana, & the process by which your lost relationship with God established and you go back to home, back to Godhead, that is called sanatana-dharma
- Sannyasa, or any purificatory process, is to help reach the ultimate goal of becoming Krsna conscious, without which everything is considered a failure. BG 1972 purports
- Satatam smartavyo visnuh. The process if only thinking of Krsna in different engagements. The process, real process, is to think of Krsna
- Sattva-guna, rajo-guna, tamo-guna, now mixed up by expert management, by expert process they can be separated, and we can come purely on the sattva-guna platform. And as soon as we come to the sattva-guna platform, then we can see things as they are
- Saying this, the saintly Muslim fell at the lotus feet of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu and requested Him to speak of life's ultimate goal and the process by which it could be obtained
- Service to the Vaisnava, Tulasi, Ganges and Yamuna are included in pada-sevanam. All these processes of pada-sevanam help one advance in spiritual life very quickly
- Service we have to render, and the whole process is to accept the superior quality of service in Krishna Consciousness
- Sex life increases the bodily concept of life. Therefore, the whole process is to reduce it to nil. Yes. Reduce it
- Siddhasvarupa does not want to take disciples, neither he should have disciples while I am alive. That is the process
- Simple theoretical book knowledge is not sufficient for a neophyte devotee. Book knowledge is theoretical, whereas the arcana process is practical
- Simply by the speculative process one cannot be freed from material bondage, for the cause still exists. One has to nullify the cause, and then the effect will be nullified
- Simply by this process, or simply by hearing and chanting the glories of the activities of the Lord's incarnation, one can certainly see within himself the identity of the Lord
- Simply chanting, dancing, and eating nice sweetballs, kachori. So su-sukham and kartum avyayam. While performing, while practicing this process, it is very pleasurable, and avyayam
- Simply if he thinks of Krsna always in the process as described here, he becomes liberated
- Simply imagining that "I have become liberated," that will not help. Maya is so strong that simply your concoction that "I have become liberated" will not do. Not fanciful imagination. One has to take actual process for becoming liberated
- Since He (the Supreme Lord) is helping the digestion of all kinds of foodstuff, the living entity is not independant in the eating process. BG 1972 purports
- Since the Supreme Personality of Godhead is absolute, He reserves the right of not being exposed to the mundaners. He can be known by one absolute process, and the relative process of sense perception cannot reach Him ever
- Since the ultimate cause in the material world is mahat-tattva, everything was wound up and amalgamated with the mahat-tattva. This may be compared to sunya-vada, or voidism, but this is the process for cleansing the real spiritual mind, or consciousness
- Since the ultimate goal of life is self-realization, there is no difference between the conclusions reached by the two processes. BG 1972 purports
- Sleeping in that darkest region, one does not get any refreshment, but, rather, gradually becomes fatigued. He invents many processes to adjust this fatigued condition, but he fails and thus remains confused
- So any process take Vedic process. Either you take yoga process or bhakti process or jnana process, in no process sex indulgence is allowed, no. Sex indulgence is only allowed, family life, just to beget very nice children. That's all
- So any process, if you make it perfect, then really you get peace. Peace. The only difference is that this yogic process as described in the Bhagavad-gita, it is not possible to be executed in this age. Therefore the next alternative is this hari-kirtana
- So both things should be performed simultaneously, parallel line that you should take up the process how to increase your attachment for Krsna, and then automatically detachment will be there
- So long we'll continue this propensity of sense enjoyment, you'll have to accept body. That is birth and death. So long. Therefore, the process should be how to make zero all these propensities. That is perfection. Not to enhance it
- So long you manufacture ideas, you may be pacified for some time, but it will not exist. Therefore you have to stop this manufacturing process, that "I shall be happy in this way." No. That is called free of anxieties
- So those who are intelligent, they catch up this easy method of self-realization. The more you chant, then the cleansing process of the heart goes on very nicely
- So we have forgotten our relationship with Krsna. Therefore there is no question of love at the present moment. But we can develop this love by this process, sravanam kirtanam
- So we want good quality men. So the one process - to make him God conscious. He'll become the best person in the society. And if the society is composed of the nice person, then where is the war, where is the strife, where is the competition
- So yoga practice is approved process, but it requires long, long period, time, and the time is not at all suitable in this age. And persons are differently cultured. They are eating everything, they are drinking everything, smoking
- So you are reading Bhagavad-gita throughout the whole life, but when the Lord speaks something which does not tally with our imagination, we reject it. That is not the process of Bhagavad-gita reading
- So, there is a process how to appreciate, how to become qualified to appreciate, and that system is called varnasrama-dharma, to divide the whole human society into four classes of men: the brahmana, ksatriya, vaisya and sudra
- Some of the asuras, or demons, such as Ravana and Hiranyakasipu, also underwent a severe process of austerity and penance, but they obtained nothing except some temporary objects of sensory pleasure
- Some so-called philosophers, they say that "We can adopt any process. It leads to the same goal." That's all right, provided you make progress. Then you'll reach to the same goal
- Some tapasya is certainly required. Without it, one can not advance in spiritual life or knowledge. If we simply engage in the animal propensities of eating, sleeping, mating and defending, not accepting the tapasya process, human life is a failure
- Somebody, without undergoing so much austerities, penances and practice in yoga for controlling mind, the senses... It is not possible for the time being, in this age. People are so fallen that they cannot take to these processes
- Somehow or other, one must consider the form of Krsna very seriously. Then, by one of the five different processes mentioned above, one can return home, back to Godhead
- Someone may say that aside from devotees, who always seek shelter at the Lord's lotus feet, there are those who are not devotees but who have accepted different processes for attaining salvation. What happens to them - SB 10.2.32
- Sometimes He (Krsna) devises some process by which He steals palatable curd, butter and milk, which He then eats and drinks - SB 10.8.29
- Sometimes one who was formerly addicted to these processes tries to perform devotional service and the jnana and yoga practices at the same time
- Sometimes such meditative processes pass for transcendental meditation. King Puranjana, the living entity, being thus victimized by the hard struggle for existence, took to transcendental meditation with his friends and relatives
- Sometimes they (conditioned souls) become disgusted with the problems and seek out a process by which they can get out of this entanglement
- Sometimes, however, it is found that without undergoing any devotional process, one all of a sudden develops devotion for Lord Krsna
- Sometimes, of course, meditation goes on when one is sleeping, but this is not the recommended process for the execution of yoga. Thus to keep oneself awake Krsna advises that one always keep the tip of the nose visible
- Spiritual body is called siddha-deha, the body by which one can render transcendental service unto Radha and Krsna. The process is that of engaging the transcendental senses in loving devotional service
- Squeezing material nature is not the process for finding out real pleasure. If we are searching for real pleasure, we have to take to Krsna consciousness
- Sravanam is very essential. Sravanam kirtanam visnoh smaranam pada-sevanam (SB 7.5.23). So in all our centers, this process should be followed
- Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu continued speaking to the Tattvavadi acarya, "Seeing that I am a mendicant in the renounced order of life, you have been playing with Me in a duplicitous way. You have not actually described the process and ultimate objective"
- Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu has said, "I am not a brahmana, ksatriya, vaisya, sudra, brahmacari or whatever. I am simply the servant of the servant of the servant of Krsna." One need only learn this process in order to render the best service to humanity
- Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu went to Gaya to offer respectful oblations to His forefathers. This process is called pinda-dana
- Sri Sanatana Gosvami says: As bell metal is turned to gold when mixed with mercury in an alchemical process, so one who is properly trained and initiated by a bona fide spiritual master immediately becomes a brahmana
- Sri Sukadeva Gosvami continued: Thus one should worship Lord Visnu, who is known as Srinivasa, along with mother Laksmi, the goddess of fortune, by offering prayers according to the process mentioned above
- Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati has given a description of these books (of Srila Rupa Gosvami). The Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu is a great book of instruction on how to develop devotional service to Lord Krsna and follow the transcendental process
- Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura recommended that one follow both processes (sankirtana & the arcana) simultaneously. We strictly follow his principle of performing Deity worship and sankirtana along parallel lines. This we should continue
- Srila Jiva Gosvami instructs that the other processes, such as arcana, vandana, dasya and sakhya, should be executed, but they must be preceded and followed by kirtana, the chanting of the holy name
- Strictly follow the regulative principle, chant Hare Krsna at least sixteen rounds, and you'll be happy. There is no doubt about it. You can experience. It is not an imposition. Don't leave this process
- Study, take part with music, eat prasadam. And no one can cheat you by this process. But if you want to be cheated - go to the cheaters
- Such (Dhaumya and Krpa) brahmanas are not only rare, but also not available in this age, & therefore, for the purpose of spiritual upliftment in this fallen age, the Gosvamis prefer the purificatory processes under Pancaratrika formulas to the Vedic rites
- Such (pancaratrika system) a purificatory process is allowed only for spiritual upliftment and not for any other purpose. Spiritual upliftment is never conditioned by higher or lower parentage
- Such persons are called trai-vargika because they are interested in the three elevating processes. They are averse to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who can give relief to the conditioned soul
- Such purificatory processes (as prescribed in the Vedic literature) are adopted for the ultimate liberation of the living entity. In all such activities it is recommended that one should vibrate om tat sat. BG 1972 purports
- Sukadeva Gosvami suggests an alternate process: kecit kevalaya bhaktya vasudeva-parayanah, agham dhunvanti kartsnyena niharam iva bhaskarah - SB 6.1.15
- Sukadeva Goswami recommends that those who are very intelligent, instead of taking to so many processes - tapasya, brahmacarya, yama, niyama, satya-sauca, so many things - if you take to this devotional process, then they will automatically come
- Svarupa Damodara Gosvami informed the Bengali poet, the process you have adopted to praise Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu and Lord Jagannatha does not follow the proper system; indeed, it is irregular and offensive
T
- Take to this (KC) movement; your life will be sublime. Easiest process. There is no charge. There is no fee. We don't charge anything. We don't say that, "I give you some secret mantra. You give me some dollars." No. It is open - Chant Hare Krsna
- Take up the process which is recommended in the Bhagavad-gita for becoming freed from the cycle of birth and death, and thus go back to the kingdom of God to render eternal service to Him
- Taking it for granted that Arjuna might not know how to practice sat-cakra-yoga, the Lord explains the process in the following verses
- Temple or asrama means for renunciation and renounced persons. If one is engaged in self-realization process, then his material necessities become almost nil. Persons who do not like this can work outside
- That (God's holy name must be heard, glorified and remembered) will bring about the desired peace and prosperity so eagerly awaited by the people of the world. The word ca includes all the remaining processes or methods of bhakti-yoga, as mentioned above
- That is the process (we must know God before we can love Him) given in the Bhagavad-gita. There are eighteen chapters, and the whole eighteen chapters are education - how to know God
- That is the process of cleansing your heart. If you cleanse your heart, then you will understand what Bible says, what Veda says. It requires to be purified
- That is Vaisnava philosophy. The whole process is to accept the Supreme. So long we do not accept the Supreme, that is maya
- That is yoga-siddhi, not merely showing some gymnastic process. No. One must be... That yoga-siddhi, it is not possible in this age because people are not expert to practice this yoga system
- That kundalini process of yoga is not possible in this age. It is a very difficult process. So we should recommend not to waste your valuable time following something which is not possible to be done by you
- That process (taking Krsna) we are giving to everyone, without any discrimination. We have got students from all communities: Hindus, Muslim, Christian, Parsis and Africans. The process is so perfect. If you take the process, you will also understand
- That process by which I (the Supreme Lord) can be attained by the living entity is called abhidheya. By it, one can attain the highest perfection of life, love of Godhead. When one attains love of Godhead, his life becomes perfect
- That which is acintya cannot be ascertained by argument. People generally argue, but our process is not to argue but to accept the Vedic knowledge as it is
- The Absolute Truth is the same, but according to the process by which one understands Him, He appears in three forms - as Brahman, Paramatma and Bhagavan, the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- The advantage (of chanting Hare Krsna) is that he doesn't have to take all the trouble of the meditational process. That is the beauty of Krsna consciousness
- The appearance of distress is a negative process intended to give the devotee relief from this material world, which is called mrtyu-samsara, or the constant repetition of birth and death
- The arcana process, or worshiping procedure, is therefore beneficial for everyone
- The attempt to defeat one another is called vitanda, and the final conclusion is called vada. The conclusive truth, the end of all reasoning processes, is Krsna. BG 1972 purports
- The beginning is to develop attachment for Krsna. The process which we have prescribed is chanting and dancing before the Deities, and offering prasadam, spiritual food. This will make you more Krsna conscious
- The beginning of this social institution is based on education meant for purifying the animal propensities of the human being. The highest purificatory process is knowledge of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the purest of the pure
- The best process or the easiest process, in this age especially, is to chant the Holy name of God. From this definition of religion as we find in the SB, the criterion test of religion is how it helps people to develop his dormant Love of God
- The bhakti-yoga process directly applies the senses to the loving service of the Lord. This prohibits the performer from engaging in material activities
- The body of the Lord was just like a field of sugarcane into which the mad elephants of ecstasy entered. There was a fight amongst the elephants, and in the process the entire field of sugarcane was destroyed
- The bona fide guru tells people to surrender not unto him but unto Krsna. Thus one has to surrender unto Krsna through the via media of the guru, not directly. This is the process
- The brahmanas indirectly criticized the followers of Lord Siva, but because the brahmanas were always protected by Lord Visnu, Siva's followers could not do any harm to their prosecution of the sacrificial process
- The brahmanas, by their learned labor of love, would instruct the administrator-kings how to rule the country in complete righteousness, and thus the process would go on as a perfect welfare state
- The brain must be sharp and finer tissues. Then spiritual understanding will be there. With dull brain, physical brain, we cannot understand. That is not possible. Therefore to spiritualize the brain, the senses, requires a process
- The cause for which they work, the place where they work, the time when they work, the matter due to which they work, the goal of life they have considered final, and the process for obtaining this goal - all are nothing but manifestations of Your energy
- The Chandogya Upanisad describes the Vedic sacrificial process. On the sacrificial altar, five kinds of offerings are made into five kinds of fire
- The chanting process is also authorized. Professor Stahl's feeling of disgust in the matter of constant chanting of the holy Name of Krishna is a definite proof of his lack of knowledge in this authorized movement of Krishna Consciousness
- The Christian process, that going to church, confession, that is very nice. You confess. And God or God's representative is quite able to excuse you and to make you free from all sinful reaction. But why should you commit again?
- The chronological process is sravanam kirtanam visnoh. This same process of chronological understanding holds true in chanting and remembering
- The complete path of bhakti-yoga is based upon the process of becoming humble and submissive
- The conditioned soul gets a taste for hearing about the Lord, and by such hearing only he is gradually elevated to the platform of respect, devotion and attachment for the Lord. The whole thing is completed by the surrendering process
- The conditioned souls may try to understand the Supreme Personality of Godhead for many billions of years through their mental speculative processes, traveling at the speed of the mind or the wind
- The counteracting process (to the age of Kali) is suggested above (allowing Kali to live in five places), and everyone can take advantage of this suggestion
- The demigods are engaged by the Lord as controlling deities of material affairs, and according to the Bhagavad-gita, when a demigod is worshiped the process is accepted as the indirect method for worshiping the Supreme Lord
- The demigods said: Dear Lord, You are the refuge of all moving and nonmoving living entities. We feel all living entities to be suffocating, their breathing processes choked up
- The desire to hear with interest is the primary qualification for assimilating transcendental knowledge. Unfortunately people are not interested in patiently hearing the message of Srimad-Bhagavatam. The process is simple but the application difficult
- The destructive process is going on fiercely under the control of the Lord, but the atheists cannot see it
- The devotee becomes Krsna-ized by eating the remnants (of foods offered to Krsna). One who does not engage in such service cannot understand how this is so, although this is a process recommended in the Gita & in other Vedic literatures. BG 1972 purports
- The devotee, thus protected all around, is sure to reach the ultimate destination of perfection. The entire process is hinted at in this mantra, and Srimad-Bhagavatam (1.2.17-20) explains it further
- The difference between animality and humanity lies in this process only. A human being can hear properly, whereas an animal cannot
- The difference between the impersonalists and the personalists is that the impersonalists, limited by their speculative processes, cannot even approach the SPG, whereas the devotees please the SPG through His transcendental loving service
- The direct manufacturer of a particular thing is supposed to know how he learned the art of manufacturing, where he got the ingredients, how he set it up and how the products in the manufacturing process are being turned out
- The divine nature of Krsna's appearance, disappearance and activities, if one can understand, then immediately he becomes free from this process
- The dog-eater human being is considered the lowest of the human society, similarly, in the animal society, the animal which eats stool is considered the lowest. So the gradation of human being is also calculated according to the eating process
- The easiest process for understanding the subject matter of self is to accept the statements of the Bhagavad-gita spoken by the greatest authority, Lord Krsna, without being deviated by other theories. BG 1972 purports
- The eating process is the same, but if you eat directly then you become materialistically encumbered. If you offer to Krsna, however, and then take it, then you become freed from all contamination of material life. That is stated in Bhagavad-gita
- The eating process should be moderate, just enough to keep body and soul together; it should not be for the enjoyment of the tongue
- The effects of the material modes of nature draw the victim to indefatigable desires of enjoying matter, but one can escape such false enjoyment by the yogic process
- The eightfold material perfections - such as anima, laghima, prapti, isita, vasita, prakamya, and so on - are concomitant in the attainment of perfection in mysticism, and are but indirect by-products of that process
- The end of all suffering means surrendering unto the Lord because the surrendering process itself is bhava-cchidam (liberation from all material miseries), svasty-ayanam (perception of all happiness), and sumangalam - the source of everything auspicious
- The energy of the Lord is like a fathomless ocean that remains undisturbed in all circumstances. It is shoreless, without beginning or end; therefore the process which directly manifests from this energy is omnipotent
- The engagements of the senses are known as girl friends, and the serpent, which was described as having five heads, is the life air acting within the five circulatory processes
- The entire population is again extinguished simply to be re-created. This process is explained in Bhagavad-gita (BG 8.19) as repeated creation and annihilation: bhutva bhutva praliyate
- The essence of all Vedic knowledge - comprehending the three kinds of Vedic activity, the chandas, or Vedic hymns, and the processes for satisfying the demigods - is included in the eight syllables Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna
- The faithless atheist class, they say, "There is no God." But let him chant the God's holy name, he'll see God. There is no difficult process in the Kali-yuga especially
- The family relationship of husband and wife should be established spiritually according to the process mentioned above - in SB 6.19.18
- The first chapter (of the Second Canto of Srimad-Bhagavatam) describes the glories of chanting, and it hints at the process by which the neophyte devotees may perform meditation on the universal form of the Lord
- The first is that you have kindly come here; you are trying to hear. This is very good. This is the beginning of process. Then kirtanam, sravanam kirtanam. Whatever you hear, you discuss amongst yourselves. That is called kirtana
- The first process is, first step is adau gurvasrayam to accept guru. - Accept guru Guru means Krsna's representative
- The first requirement is that one should have sufficient faith that the only process for attaining love of Godhead is bhakti, devotional service to the Lord
- The first stage is that of servitude, wherein the Supreme Lord is accepted as the master and the devotee as the eternal servitor. When Lord Caitanya accepted this process, Ramananda Raya described the relationship between the servitor and the master
- The first step, so you have noted is that the dirty things which are clouding our spiritual senses must be cleansed by the Sankirtana process. So Krsna Consciousness is a purifying process
- The formal processes are necessary for those who are expected to reach the stage of complete liberation, but Sri Sukadeva Gosvami was already in that status by the grace of his father
- The frog-philosopher wanted to estimate the length and breadth of the Pacific Ocean by his experience of a well three cubic feet large, and he began to puff himself up to become as big as the Pacific Ocean, but at last he burst and died by this process
- The fruits grown there (Goloka) in the form of love of God are tangibly tasted by the devotee, even though he is here in this material world. The ripe fruits of love of God are relished only by the devotees constantly engaged in the watering process
- The garbhadhana ceremony before sexual intercourse was compulsory for persons in the higher grades of society, and it is very scientific. Other processes recommended in the Vedic literature during pregnancy are also very important
- The Garbhadhana-samskara is followed by other purificatory processes, out of which the sacred thread ceremony is one. This is performed at the time of spiritual initiation. After this particular samskara, one is rightly called twice-born
- The general process is to go through grhastha life and vanaprastha life and finally come to sannyasa and devote oneself completely to the service of the Lord
- The gift of Caitanya Mahaprabhu, the chanting of the names of Krsna - Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare - facilitates this process
- The gopis, and in fact any householders, knew the process for being purified by chanting Vedic hymns. The gopis executed this process first to purify themselves and then to purify the child Krsna
- The Gosvamis never said, "We have seen Krsna." This is the recommended process - worship in separation
- The great authority Bhismadeva has also given the opinion that this process of chanting and hearing about the Supreme Personality of Godhead is the highest religious process
- The great sage Narada has come to Dhruva under the direction of the Supreme Personality of Godhead just to initiate him, yet he is testing Dhruva's determination to execute the process
- The guru does not manufacture a new process to instruct the disciple. The disciple receives from the guru an authorized process received by the guru from his guru. This is called the system of disciplic succession - BG 4.2
- The highest form of transcendental worship of the Lord was exhibited by the damsels of Vrajabhumi in the form of pure affection for the Lord, and Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu recommends this process as the most excellent mode of worship
- The highest purificatory process is knowledge of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the purest of the pure
- The indirect process is philosophical speculation, by which, gradually, one may come to the point of Krsna consciousness; and the other process is directly connecting with everything in Krsna consciousness. BG 1972 purports
- The individual soul is already under specific material nature, and the process is going on in lower grades of life, but in the human form of life by advancement of education, one can become above the modes of material nature. That chance is given to him
- The individual soul's consciousness cannot act in superconsciousness. This superconsciousness can be achieved, however, by dovetailing individual consciousness with the consciousness of the Supreme. This process is called surrender or Krsna consciousness
- The initiation is not like that, that "I am taking to the process of chanting Hare Krsna mantra for some material benefit." No. Because people become religious mostly for material benefit
- The jnana process theoretically speculates about the reality of the soul. But bhakti-yoga factually engages the spirit soul in activities. The perception of matter is transcended to still subtler states of the senses
- The jnanis are mental speculators who simply try to understand what is spirit and what is matter. Their process is neti neti: "This is not spirit, this is not Brahman"
- The Kapalika process is very vicious - they kill their disciples, and so many things there are, the Buddha Kapalika. It became a vicious religious system. So Sankaracarya wanted to stop
- The kingdom of the Supreme Personality of Godhead in the spiritual sky cannot be understood by any process other than hearing from the description of the Vedas. No one can go see it
- The Krishna Consciousness movement is meant for re-establishing the system of four varnas and asramas, then there will be progress of civilization. We have got such a nice process that even from the base sudras we can create brahmanas of highest calibre
- The Krsna consciousness movement is trying to bring everyone to the highest interest. The process may be differently named, but if the aim is one, people should follow it to achieve the ultimate goal in life
- The last instruction in the Bhagavad-gita (BG 18.66) advises fully surrendering unto the Lord, leaving aside all other engagements or different processes for self-realization and liberation from material bondage
- The linking processes that elevate one from bondage to material contamination is clearly explained in Bhagavad-gita (18.66), where Krsna says, sarva-dharman parityajya mam ekam saranam vraja: "Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me"
- The living being is eternal in form, but he has to change his outer coverings, gross and subtle, and this changing process is technically known as life and death. As long as a living being has to put on the shackles of material bondage, there is no relief
- The living being is invited to live in the sanatana existence of the Lord, and the process which can help a living being to approach the Lord's abode, where the liberated activity of the soul is exhibited, is called sanatana-dharma
- The living entities are allowed to transmigrate from one body to another, exactly as a person transmigrates from the body of an infant to a child to a boy to a youth to a man. This process is constantly going on
- The living entity carries out various desires through five different processes, which indicate the working of the five working senses
- The living entity is bitten by the wasps and drones of fruitive activity and thus suffers in material existence birth after birth. One cannot become free from material desires by following this process - of fruitive activities
- The living entity is centered within the heart, and to take him away from the heart is to liberate him. This is the process
- The living entity then (when the living entity and the life air are gone) goes to the court of judgment, and Yamaraja decides what kind of body he is going to get next. This process is unknown to modern scientists
- The local management has to be done by temple president, GBC should see whether management is going on nicely, and if there are any discrepancies that will be discussed at the GBC meeting in Mayapur. That is the process
- The Lord already declared that Krsna would be merciful upon the King due to the King’s service to the devotees. This is the process by which one can advance in Krsna consciousness. First there must be the devotee's mercy; then Krsna's mercy will descend
- The Lord Caitanya's philosophy - that is the greatest contribution to the world - that these living entities who are hankering after happiness by different process - but that happiness is available when your senses or consciousness are pure
- The Lord has declared openly in Bhagavad-gita how He becomes pleased with us, and the same process is practically demonstrated in the life and preaching work of Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu
- The Lord is residing in everyone's heart, and unless one is purified by the prescribed process, one will feel that he is alone
- The Lord is the Supersoul (Paramatma) present in the hearts of all living beings, and thus by the above hearing and glorifying process, the Lord invites the association of all in His creation
- The Lord's conclusion is that devotional service is independent of any other process. The cultivation of knowledge, renunciation or meditation may be a little helpful in the beginning, but they cannot be considered necessary for devotional service
- The Lord, being satisfied, instructed him about the object of life and the process for attaining it. He instructed him that the basic principle of success is to chant the holy name of the Lord (the Hare Krsna maha-mantra)
- The love is already there. It has to awakened by a certain process. Dadati pratigrhnati bhunkte bhojayate guhyam akhyati prcchati ca sad-vidham priti-laksanam (Upadesamrta 4). These are six types of loving principles
- The madhukari process is strictly to be followed by a babaji, that is, one who has attained the paramahamsa stage. This practice is still current in Vrndavana, and there are many places where alms are offered
- The Maha-visnu, into whom all the innumerable universes enter and from whom they come forth again simply by His breathing process, is a plenary expansion of Krsna
- The material association has to be purified, and that dormant, natural love for Krsna has to be revived. That is the whole process. BG 1972 purports
- The material covering of the pure spirit soul is an external feature, as much as fever is an external feature of the unhealthy body. The general process is to decrease the degree of the fever and not to aggravate it by maltreatment
- The material miseries of the living entity, which are superfluous to him, can be directly mitigated by the linking process of devotional service
- The material sound that vibrates, any sound that you produce, immediately it rotates seven times over this earth, and if you have got a machine, you can catch it. Similarly, there is process to catch the transcendental vibration from the spiritual sky
- The materialistic men are very anxious to have some mystic powers as a result of a controlling process, but the real purpose of yogic regulations is to eradicate the accumulated dirty things like lust, anger, avarice and all such material contaminations
- The materially absorbed conditioned soul can be cured by Krsna consciousness as set forth here in the Gita. This process is generally known as yajna
- The Mayavadi says that because one is unable to fix his mind on the impersonal existence of the Absolute Truth, one can imagine any form he likes and fix his mind on that imaginary form; but such a process is not recommended here
- The meaning of controlled speech conveyed by Srila Rupa Gosvami advocates the positive process of krsna-katha, engaging the speaking process in glorifying the Supreme Lord Sri Krsna
- The meditation process in right earnest was possible in the golden age of Satya-yuga, because the people at that time lived for a hundred thousand years on the average
- The meditation process was possible in the golden age, Satya-yuga, because people in that age used to live for hundreds of thousands of years. If one wants success in practical yoga practice, it is advised that he take to the chanting of Hare Krsna
- The merging process involves amalgamating the effect with the original cause
- The method (for creating Vaikuntha in this material world) is the propagation of the sravanam kirtanam (SB 7.5.23) process throughout the world. In the material world everyone is envious of his fellow man
- The mind focuses on the Supersoul in the heart and the life force is raised to the top of the head. In the Sixth Chapter (of BG) this process is described in detail. But as mentioned before, this practice is not practical in this age. BG 1972 purports
- The mind is generally addicted to self-centered processes; but when the mind turns to the Supersoul, one becomes advanced in spiritual understanding. BG 1972 purports
- The modern civilization, they are increasing the sense enjoyment process, making life more and more complicated, because the real motive of human life is to develop devotional service to the Lord
- The more we become advanced in understanding God, KC, then we are human being. And if we are more advanced, then you are devata, demigods. And when you more make advance, then you become fit for going back to home, back to Godhead. This is the process
- The most intelligent transcendentalist gives up all other processes and engages himself in the devotional service of the Lord, even though he may have many desires
- The Nagapatnis said, "Nor do such persons desire to rule the planets above this earth, such as Siddhaloka; nor do they aspire for the mystic powers achieved by the yoga process
- The natural process is to pour water on the root, but such disturbed leaders are more attracted to the leaves than the root. Despite their perpetually watering the leaves, however, everything dries up for want of nourishment
- The offenseless chanting of the holy name does not depend on the initiation process. Although initiation may depend on purascarya or purascarana, the actual chanting of the holy name does not depend on purascarya-vidhi, or the regulative principles
- The one process (to get out of stringent laws of material nature) is voluntarily giving up. Just like Yudhisthira Maharaja. He is the king. He is giving up a royal dress. Valayadi
- The one who is intelligent, he will take this process that, "I have tried my best to become happy, but everything is failure. Now let me surrender to Krsna." That's all
- The only process for keeping yourself aloof from the touch of maya is bhakti. Is bhakti. That is the conclusion of all sastras. Without taking to the process of bhakti, you cannot get out of the influence of maya
- The only process for perceiving Krishna and His name, qualities, form is our sincere service attitude with our senses. Beginning from the tongue, all our senses are practically led by the tongue sense, whose business is to vibrate and to taste
- The only shelter is this Krsna consciousness. Papi tapi yata chilo hariname uddharilo. They can be only saved by this process. Otherwise they are going to hell. All Americans, the so-called puffed up materialist. This is a fact
- The opportunity for direct touch with the Personality of Godhead is given in Bhagavad-gita, where it is also said that those who take to other processes, namely the processes of philosophical speculation and mystic yoga practice, have much trouble
- The ordinary powers achieved by mystic yoga, austerities and other processes are sometimes vanquished, but the powers obtained by the mercy of the Lord are never vanquished. Hiranyakasipu, therefore, wanted a benediction that would never be vanquished
- The Pancaratrika system acts on the sudra class of men, supposedly the population of the Kali-yuga, and it is the prescribed purificatory process suitable to the age and time
- The pancaratrika-vidhi, they do not recognize anybody as qualified brahmin. Everyone sudra, beginning from the lowest stage. Get him conversant in Krsna consciousness, and then initiated, and gradually elevate him by this process
- The particular medicine is recommended by the doctor, not by your whims. Sruti and smrti cannot be changed, but they may recommend a particular process at a particular time
- The pasu-ghatam means they were being implicated in innumerable sinful activities by this process
- The path of bhakti-yoga is the spotless process by which to approach the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Bhaktyaham ekaya grahyah: only through devotional service can one approach the Supreme Lord
- The path of knowledge, mystic yoga and renunciation has nothing to do with the pure soul. When one is temporarily in the material world, such processes may help a little, but they are not necessary for a pure devotee of Krsna
- The payo-vrata method of visnu-aradhanam was enunciated long, long ago by Kasyapa Muni to his wife, Aditi, in the heavenly planets, and the same process is bona fide on earth even now

- The perfect process is to accept Krsna as the Supreme in everything, and the best perfection in culturing knowledge is to surrender unto Him because He is the source of everything. Only in that conception can one get rid of the misconception of I and mine
- The perfect process is to accept Lord Vasudeva as the Supreme in everything, and the best perfection in culturing knowledge is to surrender unto Him because He is the source of everything
- The perfection of such processes (jnana, yoga and bhakti) can lead one to the desired goal of life in spiritual value, but that does not mean that one can attain a perfection equal to the Lord's by such endeavors. The Lord is the Lord at every stage
- The personified Vedas continued to pray, "Because this process (of hearing and chanting the Lord's pastimes) has the specific potency of nullifying the accumulated results of sinful life"
- The personified Vedas continued, "Dear Lord, there are many mystic yogis who are very learned and deliberate in achieving the highest perfection of life. They engage themselves in the yogic process of controlling the life-air within the body"
- The personified Vedas praying, "This chanting and hearing of Your transcendental pastimes is the easiest process for self-realization. Simply by submissive aural reception of the transcendental message, one's heart is cleansed of all dirty things"
- The point is that the subject matter only should be changed. No one can check the thinking activities of a living being, nor the feeling, willing or working processes. But if one wants actual happiness, one must change the subject matter only
- The position is sac-cid-ananda-vigrahah (Bs. 5.1), eternal life of bliss & knowledge. If we want to come to that, then the process is, we should not any more desire or manufacture some ideas for becoming happy in this material world. This is intelligence
- The Pracetas pray for an opportunity to hear of the glories of the Lord in every form of life (bhave bhave). A living entity transmigrates from one body to another. The devotee is not particularly eager to stop this process
- The practice of reduced eating is automatically done when one eats only Krsna prasadam, or food which is offered first to the Lord. Reducing the eating process is very helpful in the matter of sense control. BG 1972 purports

- The preliminary processes are the sitting posture, meditation, spiritual thoughts, manipulation of air passing within the body, and gradual situation in trance, facing the Absolute Person, Paramatma
- The process (offering sacrifices to Lord Shiva) is still current in India in a place called Vaidyanatha-dhama, where demons offer animal sacrifices to the deity of Kalabhairava
- The process according to the Vedic injunctions is that the fruits of all pious activities should be offered to the Supreme Lord
- The process by which a devotee is thus empowered (by Krsna to broadcast the holy name of the Lord) is called avesa, or sometimes it is called sakty-avesa
- The process by which all living beings in the womb of the mother develop their sense organs and sense perceptions appears to follow the same principles in the case of the virat-purusa, the sum total of all living entities
- The process by which one can return home, back to Godhead, is bhakti-yoga, sometimes called sanatana-dharma
