- Day by day, one who is actually aware of religious principles and is not heinously envious of poor animals should happily perform daily sacrifices and those for certain occasions with whatever food is available easily by the grace of the Lord
- Degraded men are actually no better than animals. The only difference is that animals have four legs and such men have only two. These two-legged, animalistic men used to call Jada Bharata mad, dull, deaf and dumb
- Demons, who are less than human beings but are not called animals, do not know the meaning of pravrtti and nivrtti, work to be done and work not to be done
- Devotees are merciful because they spare the poor animals, and they are clean because they are free of contamination from unwanted foodstuff and unwanted habits. Austerity is represented by restricted sex life
- Devotional service so nice, that even if you fall down, there is not very great loss. Great loss means you get human body, not an animal body
- Dharma first. That is the beginning of humanity, human civilization. Otherwise animals
- Dharma is not a kind of faith, religion is not a kind of faith, but it is a duty, varnasrama-dharma. So that duty we are forgetting, and therefore we are coming to the level of animals
- Dharma, religious system, is in the human society, not in the animal society. The animals does not... They have no knowledge; neither they have capacity to distinguish what is dharma, what is adharma
- Dharmena hina pasubhih samanah. They are animals, that's all. The modern civilized man is nothing but an animal - dressed animal, two-legged animal. The animals are four-legged, and these animals are two-legged, that's all
- Difference between animal and human being is that an animal has no intelligence and therefore is not expected to follow any regulative principles, but human life is a life of responsibility
- Difference between animal and man is... Suppose there palatable dish. So man, unless he is offered, although he is greedy, although he is hankering, but he's awaiting the invitation, "Yes, you can take." But cats and dogs, without invitation

- Dogs and all animals, smelling the vagina. They think - Here is real pleasure
- Don't be bothering yourself for solution of economic question. That is already provided. Just like all these animals, these birds, they have no question how to live, how to eat, how to mate, how to defend. This is already there
- Don't think that the animals or living entities other than the human being, they have no soul. No. That's a wrong conception. They have got souls

- Due to Lord Rsabhadeva's presence, all the animals in the forest were also liberated from material encagement
- Due to their extraordinarily materialistic way of life, the so called "civilized" human society has degraded to the position of the animals

- Eating, sleeping, mating and defending are problems found in the animal kingdom, and the animals have solved these problems without difficulty. Why should human society be so busy trying to solve these problems?
- Eating, sleeping, sex intercourse and defense - these four principles are common either to the animal or to the man. The animal also eats, the animal also sleeps, the animal also has sex intercourse, and he knows in his own way how to defend
- Education means to purify the knowledge, because we are all born animals. Abodha-jata. Abodha. Abodha means one who has no knowledge

- Even an animal like a hog or a dog may have greater opportunities for sense gratification than a human being
- Even an animal like a tiger has this loving propensity at least in a dormant stage, and it is certainly present in the human beings. The missing point, however, is where to repose our love so that everyone can become happy
- Even dog is afraid, what to speak of man. The animals, when they are taken to be slaughtered, they cry. So animal is afraid of death, why not man? Everyone is afraid

- Even in the animals, there are divisions. Swan class and crow class. Natural division. The crow will not go to the swan. The swan will not go to the crow. Similarly in the human society, there are crow class men and swan class men
- Even in the communistic countries the poor animals are killed without consideration, although they also should have the right to take their allotted food with which to live

- Every intelligent man should at least experiment with Krsna consciousness. He should say - All right. I have been enjoying this eating and sleeping for so many lives. These things were available for me to enjoy in my bird and animal bodies
- Every living being, whether a man or an animal or a bird, thinks that he is free by himself, but actually no one is free from the severe laws of the Lord. The laws of the Lord are severe because they cannot be disobeyed in any circumstance

- Everyone is going to die, but they are so voracious, they do not wait up to the death, and they have theorized that - Dead animal is dangerous to health. Now kill while it is in life
- Everyone should be given a chance to take prasadam and thus be induced to chant the holy names Hare Krsna and also dance in ecstasy. By these three processes, although performed without knowledge or education, even an animal went back to Godhead
- Everyone thinks - The butcher thinks, "It is my life. I must cut the throat of the animals daily." Just like that - what is that hunter? And Narada Muni met him? Yes, Mrgari
- Everyone thinks in terms, "I am this body," that's all. He is not human being, but every so-called civilized man is thinking like that. So where is the civilization of human being? All go-kharahs, animals
- Everyone's enjoyment is not of the same standard. We can see that. Somebody is enjoying some way, another is enjoying . . . "One man's food, another man's poison." What is enjoyed by the hog is not enjoyed by other animal
- Everyone, without exception, is attracted by the illusory energy of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. The demigods, human beings, animals, birds, beasts, trees and plants are all attracted by sexual desire
- Everything in the transcendental world, the land, the water, the tree, the mountain, the river, the man, the animal, the bird - everything - is of the same quality, namely cetana, and therefore everything there is individual and personal
- Everywhere there are different grades of living entities - in aquatic animals, in the plants and trees, in the reptiles and insects, in birds and beasts and in the civilized and uncivilized human forms of life
- Everywhere we find this same misunderstanding. As soon as one is in the bodily conception of life, one is nothing but an animal like a cat or a dog - sa eva go-kharah - SB 10.84.13
F
- Feigning meditation, the King (Bharata) would actually think of the animal, and this was but a sign of his downfall

- Fight on the principle of religion. That is real fight. Otherwise fight whimsically, that is animals' fight, cats' and dogs' fight

- For human happiness, one must care for the animals, especially the cows. Vasudeva therefore inquired whether there was a good arrangement for the animals where Nanda Maharaja lived
