- Because it has been offered to Me with devotion and love - that is required. Therefore we do not allow anyone to cook who is not a devotee. Krsna does not accept anything from the hands of a nondevotee. Why should He accept? He is not hungry
- Because Krsna is self-sufficient, He does not require anyone's blessings, yet Nanda Maharaja thought that Krsna required the blessings of the brahmanas

- Bhaktya tutosa bhagavan gaja-yutha-paya (SB 7.9.9): "The God can be pleased only by the feelings of your love." That is required. But anyone can do that, provided he feels the gratitude that, - God is so kind
- Bhinna prakrtir astadha. Just like I am speaking, it is being recorded, recorded. But in my absence, if the record is played, it will exactly vibrate the same sound. So that is my energy or anyone's energy, but bhinna, separated from me
- Bhismadeva advised for all human beings nine qualifications: (7) not to be inimical toward anyone, (8) to be simple, and (9) to support servants or subordinates. One cannot be called a civilized person without acquiring these preliminary qualities

- Brahma in his prayer admitted that although anyone and everyone could say that they knew about Krsna, as far as he was concerned, he did not know anything about Him
- Brahma is the direct recipient of Vedic knowledge from the Personality of Godhead, and anyone discharging his entrusted duties in disciplic succession from Brahma is sure to gain fame in this life and salvation in the next

- Brahmaji, being the greatest living entity within this universe and being directly instructed by the Lord, must know more than anyone within this universe, although such knowledge may not be complete
- But I do not favor anyone, however great he may be; unless he is always engaged in the service of Your lotus feet. Because I always keep You within my heart, I cannot favor anyone but a devotee
- By accepting the knowledge imparted in Bhagavad-gita, anyone can immediately know that this great cosmic machine, of which the earth is a part, is working so wonderfully because there is a driver behind it - Krsna
- By association, good association, everything is possible. Therefore you have to make this association of Krsna consciousness so perfect that anyone who comes in contact with that association, he becomes purified automatically
- By His (Krsna's) unlimited potencies He performs unlimited pastimes, and no one can describe them in full, nor can anyone know them all
- By nature's own way, everyone has to meet death, and if such a process of death is accelerated by anyone's penances, there is no satisfaction for the Lord
- By our Krsna consciousness movement, we are trying to distribute Srimad-Bhagavatam so that anyone in any part of the world can be absorbed in the KC movement by chanting and hearing about the activities of Krsna and be free from all material tribulations
- By the ascending process, if anyone makes progress with the speed of mind and speed of air . . . you, you know the speed of mind, how it is powerful. You are sitting here, and you can think of thousands and thousands of miles away immediately
- By the grace of the Supreme Lord Visnu, anyone can be completely purified, become a preacher of Krsna consciousness, and become the spiritual master of the entire world. This principle is accepted in all Vedic literature
- By the grace of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, anyone can do anything, for the Lord is present in everything, all things being His parts and parcels (amsa-bhagena) and increasing or decreasing by His supreme will
- By the process of bhakti-yoga, even a child less than five years old, or anyone of any age, can be purified. That is the special significance of bhakti-yoga
C
- Caitanya has clearly said, mayavadi-bhasya sunile haya sarva nasa: if anyone hears the Mayavadis' interpretation of the pastimes of the Lord, or their interpretation of Bhagavad-gita, Srimad-Bhagavatam or any other Vedic literature, then he is doomed
- Caitanya Mahaprabhu advised anyone, especially His confidential devotees . . . just like Raghunatha dasa Gosvami: he was advised that, - You chant and don't eat very palatable food. Don't dress yourself very gorgeously
- Caitanya Mahaprabhu does not follow the formality, only the sannyasis should be the spiritual master. Anyone who knows the science of Krsna, he can be spiritual master
- Caitanya Mahaprabhu has given open declaration: Anyone who is desirous of becoming Krsna conscious, it is open. Anyone can come. By proper training by the expert spiritual master everyone can be raised to the brahminical platform & then Vaisnava platform
- Caitanya Mahaprabhu has said that anyone who knows the science of Krishna, that person should be accepted as Spiritual Master, regardless of any material so-called qualifications
- Caitanya Mahaprabhu has said that this universe is a grain of mustard seed in the bag of a mustard seed. Just imagine. Can anyone count what is the number of mustards seeds in a bag, in a one-ton or two-ton bag? Innumerable. It is beyond our experience
- Caitanya Mahaprabhu's process is that if anyone is a little inclined to Krsna, so we should give him all facilities to develop Krsna consciousness. That is pancaratrika-vidhi
- Caitanya recites a verse spoken by Uddhava in Srimad-Bhagavatam (SB 3.2.23):How can one take shelter of anyone but Krsna? He is so kind
- Can any one of you stand up and tell me what is God? Yes. Do you know what is God?
- Can anyone count what is the number of mustards seeds in a bag, in a one-ton or two-ton bag? Innumerable. It is beyond our experience. But there are so many universes, just like packed up in a bag. This is called material world
- Can anyone give better instruction than Krsna for solving all the problems of the world? No. That is not possible. But still, we shall find out some imitation Krsna. This is our ill luck, misfortune

- Intelligent man, he takes things very intelligently that, - Caitanya Mahaprabhu said jivera svarupa haya nitya krsna dasa (CC Madhya 20.108-109), then why I am falsely thinking that 'I am God. I am not dependent on anyone,' this, that? Let me accept this
- International Society for Krishna Consciousness, world organization, established by His Divine Grace, and anyone can come here and take foodstuff. We have got arrangement
- Isvara means controller, powerful. Even the demigods, they are also isvaras. You are also isvara. I am also isvara. Isvara means controller. Anyone who has got little control, he can be called isvara. That is the dictionary meaning
- Isvara means controller. So anyone controls, he can be called isvara. But there are isvaras over isvaras. You go on searching, isvara over isvara over isvara. When you come to the point there is no more other isvara, then He's God. That is definition
- Isvarah paramah krsnah: (BS 5.1) the supreme controller is Krsna. Krsna is never controlled by anyone, for He is the controller of everyone - sarva-karana-karanam
- It (bhagavata-dharma) is a great science. It is not sentiment. And anyone can achieve this benefit in this human form of life. Anyone
- It (Krsna consciousness) is the topmost welfare activities in the human society. Anyone can be raised. There are different grades of life all over the world. Some are black, some are white, some are ugly, some are poor. Varieties
- It does not know anyone but me, as I have become its father, mother, brother and relatives. This deer is thinking in this way, and it has full faith in me. It does not know anyone but me
- It does not matter whether one is a man or woman. Anyone who, with great respect, hears this narration of Maharaja Prthu will become the father of many children if he is without children and will become the richest of men if he is without money
- It does not mean that anyone can claim to be a form of the Lord and be acceptable as an incarnation. The incarnation of the Supreme Personality of Godhead must be accepted in terms of the descriptions found in the sastras
- It does not require to become poor to take to Krsna consciousness, but if anyone has the desire that "I will become spiritually advanced; at the same time I shall enjoy this material life," that is not possible
- It has got so nice effect that if anyone from the birth to the death simply observe this life of celibacy he is sure to go back to home. Simply by observing one rule: yad icchanto brahmacaryam caranti. It is so nice, brahmacarya
- It is also confirmed in the Bhagavad-gita that it is very difficult to get out of the clutches of material nature, but if anyone surrenders unto the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Krsna, the modes of material nature can no longer act on him
- It is an imposition upon the Supreme Lord to say that He is envious of anyone or friendly to anyone
- It is clearly said here (in SB 3.31.15) that a living entity is put under the influence of maya by His will, and if anyone wants to get out of this entanglement, this can be made possible simply by His mercy
- It is coming not for my credit or another, anyone credit, Krsna's credit, He is giving. As soon as He sees that "They are working for Me," He'll supply everything, whatever you need. Simply we must be sincere
- It is confirmed in the Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam that anyone, even in the impious source of birth, if one takes to the Krsna conscious principles he is admitted in Vaikuntha Goloka Vrndavan
- It is imperative that every human being try for spiritual knowledge, and if anyone does not do so, his life is spoiled
- It is impossible even for Lord Brahma to give anyone the benediction of becoming immortal, but indirectly Hiranyakasipu received the benediction that no one within this material world would be able to kill him
- It is impossible for anyone to surmount the two-pronged attack of daivi maya - that is, her covering potency and her throwing potency
- It is in one's own self-interest to execute prescribed devotional service, and anyone who neglects this process neglects his own self-interest
- It is necessary to select a person to whom we can surrender ourselves. Of course no one likes to surrender to anyone. We are puffed up with whatever knowledge we have, and our attitude is, - Oh, who can give me knowledge
- It is not a fact that everyone and anyone can reach the Supreme Personality of Godhead by worshiping material demigods. It is therefore surprising that a man can imagine that he will become perfect by worshiping the demigods
- It is not a very easy task for anyone to end his identification with these bodily designations. But still, if we continue hearing the Krsna katha, it will be very easy. Make an experiment
- It is not our business to criticize anyone, but because they (so-called devotees) try to find fault with this (Krsna consciousness) movement, the real truth must be stated
- It is not that anyone and everyone can make his own foolish commentaries on Vedanta-sutra and mislead readers. Anyone who wants to understand Vedanta-sutra must read Srimad-Bhagavatam carefully
- It is not that anyone can be suddenly initiated without meeting the requirements. When one is further advanced by chanting the Hare Krsna mantra 16 rounds daily, following the regulative principles and attending classes, he receives the sacred thread
- It is not that anyone is accepted who comes along and says, "I am an incarnation of God." There are characteristics of God given in the sastras
- It is not that if you do not come in that dress in our temple you will not understand our philosophy. That is not... We don't mean that. But it is convenient. But anyone who does not want to change this dress, that does not matter. We don't insist
- It is not that mass of people is interested in Ph.D. degree. But if one is interested in Ph.D. degree, government provides: "Yes, in university you come." That is the real facility. So if anyone is interested to understand KC, why it should be denied
- It is not that the asuras will remain asura. It doesn't matter. Even born in the asura family one can become sura. Just like Prahlada Maharaja. His father was asura, but he was perfect sura. That is possible. It is not prohibited to anyone
- It is on the basis of his position that anyone can now become a Gaudiya Vaisnava, from any part of the world or any part of the universe
- It is said in the Fourth Chapter of the Bhagavad-gita anyone who knows the appearance and activities of the Supreme Lord Krsna is freed from the clutches of material nature and goes back home, back to Godhead
- It is said in Vedic literatures that people in this age will be more inclined to accept anyone as the Supreme Lord and accept any religious system opposed to Vedic principles
- It is said that anyone working in the government secretariat at this time was a kayastha
- It is said that He (God) can run faster than anyone. Those who are running after other planets are certainly persons, and if the Lord can run faster than all of them, how can He be impersonal?
- It is said that the Lord is most pleased when He sees one engage in the service of His devotee. He does not need any service from anyone because He is complete but it is in our own interest to offer all kinds of services to the Supreme Personality of God
- It is said, go-brahmana-hitaya ca. The Lord's first inclination is to give all benedictions to the cows and brahmanas. Therefore if brahmanas favor someone, the Lord does not interfere, nor can anyone interfere with the happiness of such a person
- It is said, sannyasi nirasir nirnamaskriyah: a sannyasi should not offer anyone blessings or obeisances
- It is stated in Bhagavad-gita that anyone who engages in devotional service to the Lord automatically becomes transcendental to the three destinations of material nature and is situated in the brahma-bhuta (SB 4.30.20), or self-realized, stage
- It is stated in the Bhagavad-gita that the impersonal Brahman effulgence is also an emanation from the Absolute Personality of Godhead Sri Krsna. The parama-purusa cannot be anyone except Sri Krsna Himself
- It is stated that anyone desiring elevation to heavenly planets must perform these sacrifices (the n jyotistoma sacrifices), and men with a poor fund of knowledge think that this is the whole purpose of Vedic wisdom. BG 1972 purports
- It is the duty of the government that every citizen, never mind whether human being or animal, he may not be injured by anyone. That is responsible government
- It is the nature of the material qualities that when one becomes very much opulent in terms of wealth and a prestigious position, one loses one's sense of etiquette and does not care about anyone
- It is to be understood that by the chanting of this mantra om namo bhagavate vasudevaya the author or the speaker or any one of the readers of Srimad-Bhagavatam is offering respectful obeisances unto the Supreme Lord, Krsna, the reservoir of all pleasure
- It may be then argued in this connection (BG 16.20) that God should not be advertised as all-merciful if He is not merciful to demons. In answer to this question, in the Vedanta-sutra we find that the Supreme Lord has no hatred for anyone. BG 1972 pur
- It seems strange that Krsna, as the Supreme, should be attracted by anyone's love. A man searches after the love of a woman because he is imperfect - he lacks something - CC Intro
- It seems strange that Krsna, as the Supreme, should be attracted by anyone's love. We search after the love of a woman or a man because we are imperfect and lack something
- It should be noted that a grhastha (householder) must not make his livelihood by begging from anyone
- It was certainly a great blessing of the Supreme Personality of Godhead that King Anga could give up the attachment and go out to the forest without being seen by anyone
- It was not a very easy task for the King (Anga) to give up his opulent kingdom and young, faithful wife, but it was certainly a great blessing of the Supreme that he could give up the attachment and go out to the forest without being seen by anyone
- It was ordained that Ravana, chief of the Raksasas, could not be killed by anyone but a man, and for this reason Lord Ramacandra, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, appeared in the form of a human being
- It would not have been possible for anyone but Krsna to kill these great heroes (Salva, Dantavakra and Viduratha), and therefore all the demigods from heaven and the human beings on the surface of the globe were glorifying Him
J
- Jnana-khala means envious. You have got some knowledge, but you are envious. You don't want to distribute to anyone. Monopoly. But real jnani means if you have got some knowledge, you should daily distribute it
- John Lennon was follower of this. "Sex anyone. It doesn't matter. It is a bodily necessity. That's all." They learn this art from the hogs, hog philosophy
- Just as a student in a law class is to be understood to have already graduated from general education, anyone who is engaged in the chanting of the holy name of the Lord (Hare Krsna mantra) must have already passed all lower stages
- Just as a worshiper of the sun achieves the sun or a worshiper of the demigod of the moon achieves the moon. Similarly, if anyone wants to worship a demigod like Indra, he can attain that particular god's planet. BG 1972 purports
- Just as the air or wind cannot be checked by anyone, the two nostrils, situated in one place, enjoy the sense of smell without impediment. When the tongue is present, the mouth continually tastes all kinds of relishable foodstuffs
- Just as, when you eat, you do not require to ask anyone whether you are feeling strength or your hunger is satisfied. If you eat, you understand that you are feeling energy. You don't need to inquire from anyone
- Just like he is not well dressed, but anyone who will, he'll immediately find he's cleansed. That is wanted. Cleansed dress. Dress is not important... One can become clean with simply loincloth. It doesn't require dress
- Just like if anyone is inquisitive to understand God, so best thing is those who are dealing with God only, they have no other business. Then you go there. That is the intelligent
- Just like Ramakrishna Mission. What religion they have got? Anyone? This religion, that religion, Jainism, Sikhism, this "ism," no nothing. Simply bogus propaganda
- Just like serpents, who cannot tolerate being trampled upon by anyone's feet, the Yaksas, being intolerant of the wonderful prowess of Dhruva Maharaja, threw twice as many arrows - six from each of their soldiers
- Just like stone or steel does not melt very easily, similarly, anyone's heart which does not change after chanting Hare Krsna mantra regularly, then it is to be understood that it is steel-framed, made of stone or iron
- Just like you can train anyone as lawyer, you can train anyone as an engineer or medical practitioner, similarly you can train anyone as brahmana. That is wanted
K
- Kali-yuga means the age of disagreement. Nobody agrees. Even husband, wife does not agree, what to speak of others. The father, son does not agree. Nobody agrees with anyone. This is the age like that
- Kardama Muni could have asked his benediction from Uma, for it is recommended in the scriptures that if anyone wants a good wife, he should worship Uma. But he preferred to worship the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- Kasyapa informed his wife that just because Lord Siva happened to be his brother-in-law, that should not encourage her in her offense towards him. Kasyapa warned her that actually Lord Siva is not connected with anyone, nor is anyone his enemy

- Krishna is very kind. He does not let go anyone who might have done a little bit of service
- Krishna says - Give up all nonsense engagements and come here and surrender unto Me! - that is real philosophy. Krishna says that anyone who is worshiping any demigod, it is all nonsense, and just give it up and come to me
- Krsna accepts service from anyone. The Lord says in Bhagavad-gita (BG 9.32): "O son of Prtha, those who take shelter in Me, though they be of lower birth - women, vaisyas (merchants), as well as sudras (workers) - can approach the supreme destination"
- Krsna actually appears for the deliverance of the sadhus, or bhaktas, but by killing the demons He shows them mercy also, for anyone killed by Krsna is liberated. Whether the Lord kills or gives protection, He is kind to both the demons and the devotee
