A
- A big dream, that's all. Material existence means a big dream. How long you'll dream? So long you are in this body. And as long as the body is finished, your dream is finished

- Be careful of these rascals. Mayavadi-bhasya sunile haya sarva nasa (CC Madhya 6.169). Then you'll never be able to understand Krsna

- Birds, beast, you will find the pigeons, the dogs, they are enjoying sex at least four times in a hour. So there are men also like that. So here in this material world the sex life is this top pleasure. But it is very abominable
- By becoming servant of God, you'll eternally enjoy, same as master
- By chanting loudly you will also help your neighbor, who will hear you. And when he comes to complain, "Why you disturbing?" then your mission is successful. That means he has heard

- Caitanya Mahaprabhu has given the example: stool is impure, rejectable. Everyone knows. Veda says: "No, cow dung is pure." And you examine it; you'll find it is pure. That is Vedic knowledge
- Caitanya Mahaprabhu has said, taror api sahisnuna. You will have many enemies, many envious persons, when you become pure devotee, but you should tolerate. Taror api sahisnuna. Be tolerant just like a tree and be humble just like a grass
- Caitanya Mahaprabhu made one condition, that "You have committed so many sinful activities. I shall excuse them immediately, provided you promise that you'll not commit again." This is called initiation, that to the spiritual master or Krsna we surrender
- Caitanya Mahaprabhu says, gives you the easiest method. He says that "In this age simply chant Krsna and you'll get all perfection."
- Caitanya Mahaprabhu taught that way. That is that if you want to cry for Krsna, then no more crying for this material world. Finished. If you can once learn how to cry for Krsna, then you will no more cry for this material world. That is Vedanta
- Can you make any material laws or scientific knowledge that you will not become old? No. You cannot stop death, you cannot stop birth, you cannot stop old age, you cannot stop disease. So what is the value of your material knowledge
- Cause of all causes. Just like try to understand. I am caused by my father. My father is caused by his father. He is caused by his father, his father... Go on searching, then you'll ultimately come to somebody who is the cause
- Chant Hare Krsna and you will feel. Because this method will cleanse your heart. The more you chant Hare Krsna maha-mantra, the more you become fit to understand the philosophy of Krsna consciousness. That is the process
- Chant this mantra: Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare/ Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare. There is no charges. There is no loss on your part. But if you kindly chant, you'll understand everything, because your heart will be cleansed
- Combine together (men and women), working differently but for the same purpose, for pleasing Krsna, then you will become happy. That is equality. Unity in variety. That is wanted. Variety is enjoyment. Variety is not disturbing
- Come here, sit down, and you'll find happiness. Practical. If is practical. So if you expand this Krsna consciousness movement, you'll find whole world full of happiness
- Continue executing your Krsna Conscious activities, chanting 16 rounds, studying our books, going on sankirtana, worshiping the deity, & in this way you will become advanced. As you are senior devotee you must set a nice example for the others to follow

- Deity worship requires money to construct temple, Deity and manpower, money. But if one has no such facility then what he will do? You will simply chant
- Directly we don't approach Krsna. Therefore in Vrndavana you will see everyone is praising Radharani because Radharani is very quickly pleased. And as soon as Radharani is pleased, Krsna is automatically pleased
- Do not become mad. Simply sit down here, and tomorrow night you will go see Krsna
- Do you think that because you are very strong and stout, a big wrestler with muscles, you'll live? No. For Yamaraja there is no consideration that "Here is a weak person, lean and thin, and here is a very strong person"

- Each verse, read every day carefully. Try to assimilate, understand, & you will get more profit, every day 100 yards forward. They are so important verses. How nicely composed by Vyasadeva. In two lines the whole thing is explained. This is called sastra
- Eighteen years He lived in Jagannatha Puri. Every night there was kirtana, but there was no lila-kirtana you'll find, no lila-kirtana. Hare Krsna, that's all. No lila. But does it mean that Caitanya Mahaprabhu avoided lila-kirtana?
- Either you go to Brahmaloka or Patalaloka or any loka, this form or that body, you will have to go through these four principles of material condition: birth, death, old age and disease. That is not possible to overcome

- Fire is considered to be pure. Therefore any ceremony is done before fire-god. So, Krsna says that even fire is so pure, still there are some defect, there is smoke. So, if you want to find out defect, you'll find out in fire also
- First consideration is self-realization. Therefore you'll find Vedic civilization very simple because they took it main business, self-realization
- First of all try to train yourself to be free from the sinful activities. Then you'll understand what is religion

- For God there is nothing evil. Just like the sun, there is no darkness. But for us there is light and darkness. Just like if you keep the sun back side, you will find darkness, your shadow. And if you keep yourself in front, sun, there is no darkness
- For one who objects that he will be held accountable for such unauthorized activities as begging, borrowing and stealing, Carvaka Muni replies, You will not be held responsible. As soon as your body is burned to ashes after death, everything is finished
- From a distant place, if you see that a railway engine is coming, you'll see the light. So a rascal will say, "A light is coming." (laughter) But one who knows, he will say a train is coming. So it is less intelligent
- From ordinary moral point of view, it is said by Canakya, atmavat sarva-bhutesu sa panditah. Anyone who can see in others, feeling like himself . . . If I cut your throat, you'll feel pain. How I know it? Now, because if you cut my throat I'll feel pain
- Fully utilize your, this valuable life by changing simply your ordinary consciousness to KC, the greatest boon offered to the human society by KC movement. If you take advantage of it, then sarve sukhino bhavantu - then you'll become happy

- Generally karmis, they want something from God. They go to temple, they go to church, for begging something: "I am hungry, give me my daily bread." "Give me," something. So long we are on the platform of "give me," you will never be happy
- Generally we understand by seeing or by hearing. Hearing is there, but here it is recommended tongue, especially. Why tongue is used? Because if you simply chant Hare Krsna by your tongue and taste Krsna prasadam, you will understand Krsna
- Generally you will find, whenever we speak something, we give evidence from the sastra in Sanskrit, in all our books. That is the way of proving that whatever I am speaking, it is fact
- Go on chanting Hare Krishna. Krishna is in your heart. Pray to Him for your protection and soon all things will be adjusted and you will again be in the association of devotees. Of that you can be sure
- God has given you these two ears, and you can learn. Simply you have to learn from the authorized sources. Then you will understand God. And when you understand God, then you develop love of God
- God has many names, hundreds and thousands. So any name you prefer, you chant, you'll get the result. This is the process
- God proved, "Yes, you (Hiranyakasipu) have cheated Brahma in so many ways with the idea that you will live forever. Now see. I am here. How great I am." So that is the appreciation of the greatness of God
- God reveals to you by your service attitude. And that service attitude begins from your tongue, jihva. Jihva means tongue. How? You chant Hare Krsna and taste krsna-prasadam. Then you will realize. Two things. Very simple method
- God will appear. Don't forget that you will be godless. You will see God, and death, at that time, after seeing, you will be finished, no more understanding
- God's arrangement is so nice that everyone has got his particular body according to his work. It is so nice arrangement. You see. You'll find millions of persons, and everyone you'll find different from the other. You won't find two similar persons
- God, factually, He has no name. How many names you will remember? But His names are given according to His activities

- He (the priest) said, - No, you are mistaking. Jesus Christ is Lord. He is not one of you, like worker. No. He's Lord. So if you don't appreciate him, don't worship him, then you will go to hell
- He does not know how his Krishna Consciousness balance is increasing, but one day will come when you will see that actually your father is a good soul
- He is a most learned scholar as well as an expert in devotional mellows. Actually he is most exalted, and if You talk with him, You will see how glorious he is
- He is always with you, so He understands what kind of knowledge you are in search after. So we must be sincere, that we want to know that Absolute Truth. Then you will find out; Krsna will help you

- Here is a nice example. You have seen the sunshine entering your room through a hole of your window, & you will find so many atomic demonstration. So these brahmandas, the so many universes, they are emanating from the breathing of Maha-Visnu in that way
- Here is Bhagavad-gita. You follow the direction, you will understand what is God, what you are, what is this world, what is our relation between ourself, what is our condition, how we can get out of this miserable condition. Everything you will find
- Here is no inebrieties, in the spiritual world. Here it is full of inebrieties. You'll see that Krsna is enjoying with the gopis but there is no inebriety. There is no pregnancy, there is no abortion. That is the beauty
- Here is the recommendation. Try to become Krsna conscious. And then you'll not be disturbed with all these external, ephemeral changes of the material world
- Here the proposal is how to achieve perfect happiness of atma. Atma means the body, atma means the mind and atma means the soul. So unless you get happiness of the soul, simply trying to get happiness of the body and the mind, you'll never get happiness
- Here you can take some fruits or flower from a particular tree, but there, if you like, you ask kachori and samosa from a tree -- you get. But we have no idea what is surataroh, what is kalpa-vrksa. Whatever you desire, you'll get it
- Here you will find the students, although they are not exercising the bodily asana, pranayama, it is automatically being done because the mind is the center of all activities. So mind is always engaged in Krsna. That is bhagavata-dharma
- Hiranyaksa, Hiranyakasipu. They were Jaya-Vijaya in the Vaikuntha world. So they came here, and Krsna asked them that "If you become My enemy, then within three births you will come back. And if you remain friend, then seven births"
- How the cows and asses can understand Krsna? They cannot understand. If you want to understand Krsna, then you should hear from Krsna and take it as it is. Then you'll understand. If you are fortunate enough, then you'll understand
- How the government will be good? This is also bad. Mahaprabhu's name is Patita-pavana; He is delivering all bad men. In the Kali-yuga there is no good men at all - all bad. Strong you will have to become to deal with all bad men
- How you can stop war? Because you are animal, you fight, you can give some name, either on religious ground or this philosophical ground. But because you are animal you will fight. You can give a different name. That is different thing

- I (Krsna) shall now explain the knowable, knowing which you will taste the eternal. Brahman, the spirit, beginningless and subordinate to Me, lies beyond the cause and effect of this material world

- If in ordinary laws, in the state laws, that if you have killed somebody you must be hanged, so do you think you can simply bluff the supreme authority, Krsna, that you are going, killing, killing, killing, and you will be saved? No
- If Krsna does not supply you this light, sunlight, you will die. But He does not charge anything. But because you are human being, you should try to repay
- If man is made after the image of God, you study very scrutinizingly a perfect human being, and you will know what is God

- If we are entangled with rajas-tamas, then our perpetual desire for lusty sense enjoyment and greediness will not stop. But if we give up these two qualities, the remainder quality means goodness, that sattve, you will get, at least, peace of mind
- If we can go there, then you'll haven't got to come back again in this darkness. This is Krsna consciousness movement
- If we give up the process of understanding as Arjuna did, then you'll never be able to understand Krsna, or God. That is not possible. You have to take up the process which Arjuna accepted

- If you aim your plane westward and don't stop, you will remain in sunlight all the time. Similarly, if you remain in Krsna consciousness by the simple method of chanting Hare Krsna you will never see the darkness

- If you analyze the whole population, you will find that we are simply a crowd or assembly of so many animals, that's all. This is fact. Because we not know beyond this body. So you cannot expect any peace and prosperity in the animal society
- If you analyze yourself silently, "What I am? I am this finger? I am this body? I am this hair?" you will deny, "No, I am not this." So beyond this body, what is, that is spiritual. That we can feel
- If you are actually intelligent, then you'll think that, "Who can be more intelligent than Krsna? Let me take His advice." That is real intelligence
- If you are actually reasonable, you'll understand that this Krsna consciousness movement is the sublime movement for the welfare of the whole human society. That's a fact. Anyone may come. We are prepared to discuss this subject matter
- If you are all of a sudden reminded of your home and friends, you will at once become very preoccupied: How shall I meet them
- If you are animal killer, your God consciousness is finished. You'll never be able to understand what is God. Then your life is finished
- If you are asked to stand here for five hours, you'll feel most uncomfortable. But they (the trees) are standing for five thousand years, no uncomfortable. This is punishment. Punishment is there, but unaware
- If you are associating personally with President Nixon, how much proud you feel? "Oh, I am with President Nixon." So will you not feel very much proud if you are associating the supreme Nixon? Who can create millions of Nixons
- If you are eager to see Krsna, the motive may be different, but somehow or other, due to your eagerness, you'll see Krsna. That is the only qualification
- If you are hungry and if you are given very nice, nutritious, palatable food, you haven't got to take any certificate from others. You'll understand yourself, - Yes, I am now feeling strength. I am now feeling energy
- If you are indeed interested in logic and argument, kindly apply it to the mercy of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. If you do so, you will find it to be strikingly wonderful
- If you are inquisitive, if you are actually philosopher, then you will find Krsna, Krsna is Bhagavan. Krsnas tu bhagavan svayam (SB 1.3.28). That is the verdict of the Vedic sastra
- If you are miserly and do not give Me the offerings, every one of you will have an old husband with at least four co-wives
- If you are not prepared to submit, then you will never understand. You will remain in this tamas, tamas. Tamasi ma. But don't remain in tamas. Come to the light

- If you are thinking of your pet dog, then you get the dog's body. And if you are thinking of Krsna, God, then you'll get the body like Krsna. That will be decided at the time of your death
- If you argue, "Why it (cow dung) is pure?" then you come to a modern chemical analysis, and you will find the cow dung is full of antiseptic properties. It has been examined in Calcutta by one doctor, Raj Mohan Bose
- If you associate with persons addicted to so many drugs or brothel men, then you will become like that. And if you associate with the Krsna conscious men, then you become Krsna conscious; you understand what is your real position
- If you associate with the hippies, you will become hippie. If you associate with the Vaisnava, you become Vaisnava. That is practical
- If you become a nice, educated person, good character, you'll be always welcome anywhere, good position. And if you are a thief, rascal, without any education, then your position will be different. So karanam guna-sangah asya
- If you become aberrant to the injunction of the sastras, then na sukham savapnoti, you'll never get happiness. Na sukham, yah sastra-vidhim utsrjya vartate kama-karatah, na, na sa siddhim avapnoti. There is no question of siddhi, perfection
- If you become devotee of Vasudeva, bhaja vasudevam, then very quickly you will become jnanavan. First of all, one becomes jnanavan; then he surrenders to Vasudeva. Sarva-dharman parityajya mam ekam saranam vraja
- If you become elevated to the perfection of devotional service, you'll go to God and you'll see Him as you are seeing me, I am seeing you. You'll see Krsna. Try to understand
- If you become intelligent more, then you'll inquire, "Wherefrom the food comes?" At the present moment you may chant "Food, food, food," and you get food. Then if you are intelligent, you'll inquire, "Wherefrom the food came?" That is the next step
- If you become intelligent, then you will not be befooled. They can befool when there are many fools. If there is no fool they cannot befool
- If you become Krsna conscious, you will feel happy always
- If you become very serious to have the ultimate satisfaction of life, then I think that you will practice this KC process very enthusiastically and be successful in all respects
- If you believe in impersonalism, you have nothing to do. If you believe in personalism, you will serve the Lord there
- If you can achieve Krsna, then you will feel that "I don’t require anything more." Yam labdhva: by gaining which a person thinks, Complete, full
- If you can actually grow this Tulasi plant, and I am sure you will do it, then you must know it for certain that your devotion for Krsna is testified
- If you can earn money, you can make a good bank balance, that does not mean that you will get bodily comfort. That is not. That is already fixed up, according to your karma. So don't waste your time for improving bodily comforts

- If you chant Hare Krsna maha-mantra, then you'll become, gradually, the greatest yogi without becoming very learned scholar, without becoming Vedantist, without becoming religionist, simply by this process you try to practice, & your life will be perfect

- If you develop love for Krsna, then you'll see Krsna within your heart always, twenty-four hours. Premanjana-cchurita-bhakti-vilocanena, when your eyes are smeared with the ointment of love of God
- If you divide all people, you will find one class of men, they are not interested with this opulence of material happiness. They are seeking - philosophers, learned scholars, scientists, religionists, reformers. Their business is different
- If you do good work, you'll have to enjoy, so-called enjoyment. And if you do bad work, then you have to suffer. But if you work for Krsna, there is no such reaction
- If you do not allow to touch the water, the ground, you take it in the middle, you will find crystal, distilled water. You will find. And as soon as it comes down on the ground, it becomes muddy, the purity lost
- If you do not even know the person, then where is the question of love? Suppose you love some boy or some girl, then you will give some present, and he or she gives you some present - that develops love
- If you do not follow any bona fide sampradaya, then your path of spiritual advancement will be baffled. You will simply waste your time
- If you do not follow the sastra - you manufacture ideas - you'll never get success, na siddhim sa avapnoti na sukham, no happiness, and what to speak of param gatim
- If you do not know who is Bhagavan, if you do not know who is Hari, if you do not know who is Isvara, then what you will hear about Him? That is the problem
- If you do not take education, if you remain fools and rascals, then you will suffer and create disturbance for others also. Therefore everyone must be educated, good citizens. It is good for him, good for others
- If you do on your account, there will be reaction. Either you do good work or bad work, there will be reaction. If you do good work, you'll get good result, and if you do bad work, you will get bad result. That's all right
- If you do something criminal, you will suffer. If you do something benevolent for the state, for the people, then you are recognized; you are sometimes given a title. This is good and bad karma
- If you don't bow down to Krsna and His representative, then you will be forced to bow down something else, maya. That is your position. You cannot be free at any moment. But you'll feel... Just like a child
- If you don't cure a disease, it can put you into trouble in so many ways. Similarly. if you don't purify your existence, then you will have to transmigrate from one body to another
- If you don't get something positive, simply by negative process you will never be happy. Then again you will fall down
- If you don't want to be confused, if you don't want to be frustrated, then try to love Krsna, and you'll feel yourself how you are making progress in peacefulness, in happiness, in everything that you want
- If you drink more milk and milk products, then your brain will be very sharp. You will understand things very nicely, correctly. Therefore milk is very important
- If you eat continually vegetables and fruits, you'll not be attacked with pyorrhea. But if you eat meat - your teeth is not meant for eating meat - you'll very soon be attacked with pyorrhea because breaking the laws of nature. This is one example
- If you eat extraordinarily, then you will sleep also extraordinarily. If you eat frugally, as much minimum required, then you can conquer over sleep. Eating, sleeping. Sleeping depends on eating
- If you eat proper, nourishing foodstuff, you'll feel yourself strength and your hunger satisfied. You haven't got to ask anybody. Similarly, if you come to the proper path and if you follow the principle, you'll understand, Yes, I am making progress
- If you eat, you understand that your hunger is satisfied. Similarly, actually if you follow this principle of Krsna consciousness movement, you'll see yourself that you are advancing in the matter of self-realization
- If you eat, you will feel satisfied. Your hunger will be satisfied. You will be getting strength. Similarly, when you'll no longer be attracted by this sex desire, then you should understand that, "I am now making progress in KC." This is the test
- If you engage yourself in the service of Krsna, you'll find new and new encouragement. That is spiritual. If you find it hackneyed, then you must know that you are not yet serving spiritually, you are serving materially
- If you follow the prohibitive rules: no meat eating; no intoxication, no illicit sex life & no gambling & regularly chant 16 rounds of beads daily & try to understand this philosophy by reading our books, then surely you will make rapid advancement in KC

- If you go to some school and the professors are rascals, then what you will learn? It is both, reciprocal. You shall act as professor, teachers. Your life should be ideal, and they will come and see, and they will learn
- If you go very high, 25,000 miles up, you'll see void. But that, there you cannot stay. You can travel for many years in that void, but if you don't take shelter in a planet, then you'll come back again to this planet
- If you have got a child whom you very much love, you'll see the child always in front of you. Always. It is due to love. So similarly, you have to develop love for Krsna and you'll see Him
- If you have got money, just spend it for very costly temple, for installing Laksmi-Narayana, Radha-Krsna, Sita-Rama, like that. Don't spoil your money in other way. Then you'll always remain rich. You'll never become poor
- If you have got power, then you'll reach the sun planet, you'll see the sun-god, because the original source of the sunshine is the sun-god. Similarly, brahmajyoti, the origin of brahmajyoti is Krsna, brahmano hi pratisthaham
- If you have got some faith, then you will find out some sadhu, sadhu or some saint, some sage, who can give you some spiritual enlightenment. That is called sadhu-sanga
- If you have got sufficient appetite, any kind of foodstuff, you'll find it is very nice. But if you are offered very palatable foodstuff and you are not hungry - you have no appetite - useless

- If you want to become overintelligent, to present something, to interpret something, whatever over you have heard from your spiritual master you can make some further addition, alteration, then you'll spoil whole thing

- It is enjoined, you'll find in the Bhagavata, that any family, the brahmins, the ksatriyas & vaisyas, if they give up this garbhadhana-samskara, I mean to say, birth-giving ceremony, then that family turns immediately to the classification of the sudras
- It is not easy job to become a spiritual master. Yes. Then when it is overloaded, you'll suffer

- Learn to kill. No nonviolence. Learn to kill. Here also, as soon as you'll find, the ksatriya, a thief, a rogue, unwanted element in the society, kill him. That's all. Finish. Kill him. Bas. Finished. So other will see, "Oh, the ruler is very strong"
- Let them suffer (by concocting their own system). What can be done? If you don't accept the laws of the state and you manufacture your own laws, then you'll suffer
- Let us cooperate. You'll see how I can change the face of India. And this is the only platform where real United Nation can be made. That is practical. That is practical. That United Nation has failed
- Liberation does not mean that when you get liberation - you have got now two hands - you will have four hands, like that, no. Liberation means change of consciousness
- Life and death is not in your hand. You don't think that stopping this or increasing this, you'll be able to stop all inconveniences
- Little deviation. Nature's law, they are so systematically set up that automatically . . . just like the same example I've given: you infect some disease, automatically you'll have to suffer from the disease
- Live peacefully, husband and wife, and both be engaged in Krsna consciousness. Gradually, you'll forget, both husband and wife. Don't try artificially. Artificially you'll never be successful
- Lord Brahma advised Priyavrata, "Be situated in your original position as an eternal servant of the Lord. If you carry out His orders, you will never fall, even in the midst of material enjoyment
- Lord Krsna advised Arjuna : "If you want to be perfect, just always think of Me, become My devotee, worship Me and offer your obeisances to Me. In this way you will understand Me, the PG, & ultimately you will come back to Me, back to Godhead, back home

- Love means bhajanti, render service. That is love. That is the beginning of love. So even there is no love, if you, under the prescribed rules and regulation, if you simply render service, then you will develop love

- Mahajanas, great personalities, what they have done, you cannot imitate them. You have to follow them. You have to follow the instruction of Krsna or His representative, but you cannot imitate them. Then you'll fall down
- Maharaja Pariksit, he was very pious king, and he was cursed by a brahmin boy, "You have insulted my father, so within seven days you will meet your death." So that was powerful tapa. The brahmanas were so powerful in their tapasya, austerity
- Material service, you'll get tired, fatigued, "Oh, I have worked so much now." In the spiritual service you'll get more energy, "Let me serve more, serve more."
- Material sound, if you chant once, twice, thrice, you will feel disgusted. But spiritual sound, if you chant twenty-four hours, you will never feel disgusted, but you will feel more and more spiritual bliss. That is the difference
- Material, any name you chant, because it is materially contaminated, you cannot continue it for very long. This is another experience. But this chanting of Hare Krsna mantra, if you go on chanting for twenty-four hours, you'll never feel fatigued
- Meditation? That you can see from the result. You'll find so many persons meditating, but see their life. Phalena pariciyate. One has to be judged by the result
- Milk is one of the important nourishment foods. And there is no milk. So gradually there'll be no milk, no rice, no wheat, no sugar. These are stated. Where you'll get nourishment
- Moksa is also not our ultimate goal of life. Moksa means to get relief from the material bondage. But if you do not get engagement of spiritual life, then moksa is also cheating because you'll fall down again
- Money is not the strength for understanding Radharani. If you have got some money, by the strength of money you'll understand Radharani - that is another bogus thing

- My (Dasaratha) dear boy, You'll have to go to forest for fourteen years. That is the desire of Your youngest mother. And I promised that I shall fulfill her promise, uh, request. So please accept
- My dear Bhadravardhana, there is no need to make these threatening motions. If you will all look more closely you will see that it is only a thundercloud upon Govardhana Hill; it is not the Aristasura in the shape of a bull
- My dear Lord, You are the independent Supreme Personality of Godhead. Certainly You will depart. I know that. Still, I ask You to stay here a few days more so that I can see Your lotus feet

- Now after Urja you will go to Puri for again trying for that place, but now there is competition, so how we can stop it? But if you offer them the right price, and if we try to get it very seriously we shall be able to do it, by Krishna’s grace
- Now I want to send a batch of trained disciples into India, and you will see how they are absorbed in this Sankirtana movement
- Now keep the standard of our routine work very high, and you will always meet with all success
- Now you are having sex as human being in very nice apartment or on the street, on the beach, as you like. In the next life also, as cats and dogs, you will have sex life. The sex life is not denied, because the life is there

- O all-auspicious Yogamaya, I (Krsna) shall then appear with My full six opulences as the son of Devaki, and you will appear as the daughter of mother Yasoda, the queen of Maharaja Nanda - SB 10.2.9
- O Brahma, I shall explain all these truths to you. Since you are a living being (jiva), without My explanation you will not be able to understand your relationship with Me, devotional activity and life's ultimate goal
- O King, O hero, this human body is meant for universal benefits. If you kill this body untimely, you will kill all the benefits of human life
- O my daughter, who were born in a respectable family, how have you degraded your consciousness in this way? How is it that you are shamelessly maintaining a paramour? You will thus degrade the dynasties of both your father & your husband to hellish life
- O my dear King, you will be able to enjoy with me as my husband at the end of every year, for one night only. In this way you will have other children, one after another
- O my dear Krsnadasa, do not be afraid. Go to Vrndavana, for there you will attain all things
- O Nalakuvara & Manigriva, now you may both return home. Since you desire to be always absorbed in My (Krsna's) devotional service, your desire to develop love & affection for Me will be fulfilled & now you will never fall from that platform - SB 10.10.42
- O Narada (the Lord spoke), I regret that during this lifetime you will not be able to see Me anymore. Those who are incomplete in service and who are not completely free from all material taints can hardly see Me
- O son of Kunti, either you will be killed on the battlefield and attain the heavenly planets, or you will conquer and enjoy the earthly kingdom. Therefore, get up with determination and fight
- Offensive chanting may give you material pains and pleasure, and almost offenseless will give you liberation, will place you in the transcendental platform. And when it is offenseless, then immediately you'll invoke love of God, krsna-prema
- Old history you will find that India, they had got their own ships for exporting spices to Greece and other countries of Europe. The history is there. And they were supplying muslin cloth, even just before the British period, Muslim period
- One does not understand what is Krsna, then what to speak of loving Krsna? If you don't understand somebody, how you will love him?
- One man's food, another man's poison - So how you can distinguish this is food or poison? One man will say: "No, it is food." Another man will say: "It is poison." So how you'll distinguish

- Otherwise, simply further attachment (if attachment between man and woman not reduced to nil) - You will have to take rebirth, either as a human being or as a demigod or as an animal, as a serpent, as a bird, as a beast. You will have to take birth
- Our books are already recognized by the academic section of universities. They are a standard, authorized collection and I hope you will give us proper facilities to utilize the opportunity
- Our Krsna consciousness movement is to educate people on the principles of the teachings of Bhagavad-gita. So if you understand Bhagavad-gita thoroughly, then you will understand Lord Rama also and other incarnations, because Krsna is present with all
- Our point is that you may live materially comfortably - there is no harm - but if you forget your spiritual identity, then you'll remain like animal
- Our point is, wherever you go, you'll find a first-class man who is truthful. Now, wherever you find a truthful man, you can classify him as a brahmana & train him to serve the social body in that capacity, as a spiritual teacher & advisor. That is wanted

- Pariksit said, "I only request that at the last moment of my life all of you will kindly chant the holy name of Visnu, so that I may realize His transcendental qualities"
- People should be informed that "Yes, there is sex after death. Why there is no sex? Because there is life after death. You get another body. Maybe a god's body, demigod's body, or dog's body, you'll get another body"
- Please continue to chant faithfully, and Krishna will reveal Himself, by His Causeless Mercy, and you will know everything automatically
- Please continue to read Bhagavad-gita As It Is. You will derive all spiritual benefit from it
- Please follow this principle and surely you will mark great strides in the matter of your spiritual advancement. The four basic regulative restrictions we observe are 1) no illicit sex connections, 2) no intoxication, 3) no meat-eating, & 4) no gambling
- Please give Him all assistance so that He can go there. This is your first great order, and if you can comply, you will render a great service
- Please go ahead with obtaining PHD and become a learned scholar in the science of loving Krishna. This will be a wonderful credit for you and you will surely get recognition from Krishna for such an attempt
- Please go on with your work with enthusiasm and faith in Krishna. He will give you all assistance
- Please hear faithfully this description of Caitanya Mahaprabhu's ecstatic emotions. Thus you will come to know of His ecstatic love, and ultimately you will achieve love of Godhead

- Real happiness means when we come to the platform to be engaged in Krsna's activities, tapo divyam putraka yena. Then you will get eternal happiness
- Real knowledge you will get from guru, from Krsna. Evam parampara-praptam (BG 4.2). That is real knowledge. Otherwise, anything has got some knowledge, that knowledge is not sufficient
- Receive knowledge, and try to assimilate it, and try to apply it, apply it with your body, with your mind, with your intelligence. Then the, you'll understand God so nicely that although God is unconquerable, you'll conquer Him

- Regarding your dream, it is a great blessing to you that Krsna warned you. So you should never be negligent. Always be careful, then in due course you will feel the Bhava
- Religion means the order of God, just as law means the order of the state. Now, if in your social system there is no state, where is the question of the state's order? You will simply manufacture your own order
- Religious principle means you have to execute the preliminary formulas, but the ultimate end will be you'll have spontaneous attraction for hearing about God, or Krsna. That is wanted
- Remain sincere and fixed up and enthusiastic by following the rules and regulations and chanting 16 rounds. Then you will remain spiritually strong
- Rest of the world, they know God is great, but they do not know how great is God. That you will find in the Vedic literature. And that is our duty. That is kirtana, hari-kirtana
- Ruci means you will simply hanker after spiritual things. You won't like to hear anything except spiritual message. You won't like to do anything except spiritual activities. You won't like to eat anything which is not spiritualized
- Rukmi vowed before all the princes, "I make this vow before you all, and you will see that I shall fulfill it"
- Rules and regulations must be followed very strictly. Simply to make a show of gymnastics is not perfection of yoga. Yoga means control of the senses. If you indulge your senses unrestrictedly but make a show of yoga practice, you will never be successful

- Sankarsana is expansion of Narayana. Narayana is expansion of another Sankarsana, and that Sankarsana is expansion of Baladeva. And Baladeva is expansion of Krsna. You'll find in the sastras
- Sanskrit is very nice language. From one verbal root, you can manufacture many words; therefore it is difficult to make Sanskrit dictionary. It is very difficult. The so-called Sanskrit dictionaries available in the market, you won't find all the words
- Sastra-caksusa. Sastra . . . From authoritative statement of sastra you'll see. Don't see by your blunt eyes, rascal, this consciousness. Then you'll never find the actual fact
- Sat and asat. These two things are side by side. Just like there is darkness and there is light, you can see merging in the sunlight. You'll see, one side is light, and one side is dark. Similarly, sat and asat, they are existing side by side
- Sat means eternal; there is no change. Just like Krsna. His body is sac-cid-ananda; therefore He never grows old. You'll never find a picture of Krsna that He has grown old. No
- Sattva means existence. So if you don't purify your existence, then you will have to change your body. From this body to that. Sometimes it may be higher, sometimes lower
- Savitri pleased the Yamaraja, and Yamaraja, being pleased, said, "My dear girl, you'll have a very good son" - because every girl expects some son. So Yamaraja gave her the benediction that "You will have very nice son"
- Several other religious organizations such as ours have received tax-exemption status. I trust that you will kindly provide our institution, being a purely religious and non-profit charitable organization, with the same facility of tax-exemption
- Sex life, even it is not illicit, still, it is painful, aftereffects. You'll have to take care of the children. You have to bear children. That is painful. You have to pay to the hospital for delivery, then education, then doctor's bill - so many painful
- Simply by chanting Hare Krsna, you'll gradually develop a transcendental loving attitude for Krsna
- Simply chant Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare - Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare, and gradually you'll realize how to become immortal
- Simply if you give aural reception, that will clear everything within your mind, and you'll get enlightenment, because Krsna will help you. He's present within
- Simply rascals, that's all. Better not to talk with, that - You are rascal number one. I don't want to waste my time. When you make solution of these problems, then we shall talk. Now go on researching and befool your followers that in future you'll get
- Simply working hard for sense gratification without any discrimination whether it is mother or sister or any . . . that is hog civilization. That the hog has no discrimination you'll find
- Simply you have to read Bhagavad-gita as it is. Then you'll understand. There is no question of interpretation. Then the authority is gone. As soon as you interpret, then there is no authority
- Sitting in a right-angle posture and the eyes half-closed. Not fully closed. If you fully close then you will sleep. I have seen so many yogis snoring, sleeping. Yes. Naturally, if you close your eyes and you have no subject matter to think
- Siva said: At that time your (Banasura) days will come to an end, and your flag of victory will no longer fly. Then you will see your false prestige smashed to pieces
- So anartha-nivrttih syat. If every house engages in this arcana-vidhi, so many unwanted things will vanish. You'll have no more interest for seeing cinema or going to the restaurant or smoking bidi and wasting time by unnecessary talks
- So even if the goddess of fortune is not satisfied with me, I know that You will always accept my service anyway
- So follow these instructions of mine implicitly and your perfection of life in Krsna's service is guaranteed and you will have the spiritual strength for attracting and training others in this bhakti cult
- So how you will adjust Krsna philosophy and Buddha philosophy?
- So if you remain on the mental platform, then this business of accepting and rejecting will go on. You'll never come to a conclusion. Therefore one has to rise to the spiritual platform
- So in this material world, so long we'll be in the material service, either socially or family-wise or community, whatever you do, you'll never be able to satisfy them
- So long we have got this body we have to do something. Without doing something we cannot live. The material world will not allow you, that you cannot do anything and you'll be provided
- So long we'll continue this propensity of sense enjoyment, you'll have to accept body. That is birth and death. So long. Therefore, the process should be how to make zero all these propensities. That is perfection. Not to enhance it
- So long you are materially affected and making plan how to get out of it, the material nature is so strong that it will baffle all your plans, and therefore you will have to remain perpetually restless
- So long you do not love God, you simply love dog, you'll never be happy. That is our philosophy. You have diverted your loving spirit to the dog. You change it
- So long you require some material facilities, you'll get material facilities, but that is not solution of the problems of your life
- So long you shall remain within this material world, you have to accept these four principles of material condition, that you'll have to die
- So long you'll get this material body, you have to suffer. It is meant for suffering. As soon as you get this material body, this body or that body, you have to suffer
- So many things we are trying, achievement. But as soon as you become properly situated in Krsna consciousness achievement, then you will think, - Oh, no achievement is better than this achievement
- So nature's mercy is that as soon as you think that you will enjoy life like this, she will give you good opportunity. That means changing a body
- So stick very strictly to these principles & chant regularly daily sixteen rounds & you will always remain in the topmost position. Have nice Deity program, always have lots of Kirtan, serve ample Prasadam very sumptuously & speak something from my books
- So this endeavor to go there (to some planets) by so-called scientific advancement is simply defeat, because you will not be allowed, neither you can go there. And actually it is happening so. What they have achieved so far? Nothing
- So we must be careful. We should not eat more or less. Better eat less than eat more. You'll not die by eating less. But you may die eating more
- So we, of course, we are not so advanced, but we have got many examples of advanced devotees. Still there are in India. You will find in Vrndavana and other places. Actually, they have no means - simply depending
- So when you further advance you'll find there is no distinction between black and white. Just like a flower is coming out, there are many colors. So it is coming from the same source
- So you will continue on and consult with Karandhara and the other GBC men and formulate some program to preach this Krishna Consciousness in the colleges and this will please me very much
- Some cheaters come, Yes, you take this mantra, give me thirty-five dollars, and within six months you'll become God, you'll have four hands
- Some of the gopis, they left their sons also and went to Krsna. From material point of view this is immoral. So you'll find in such a way that what is from material point of view immoral, it is the most magnificent morality in relationship with Krsna
- Some so-called philosophers, they say that "We can adopt any process. It leads to the same goal." That's all right, provided you make progress. Then you'll reach to the same goal
- Somebody offers you one million dollars, "Take it." You do not know what is the value of million dollars; you will refuse it. Little intelligence. So the choice is yours. In all the case, the choice is yours. If you know the value, instantly you accept
- Somebody questioned me somewhere that: "Why you have come to America?" Why not I shall come? I am servant of God, and this is kingdom of God. Why shall I not come? It is artificial to check me. If you check me, then you'll commit sinful activities
- Somehow or other they must be induced to take interest in spiritual life. Then it will be successful. You will get money and they will get spiritual profit
- Someone may ask, "Then shall we do nothing?" Yes do nothing simply to improve your material position. Whatever material happiness is allotted for you by destiny, you'll get it wherever you are
- Sometimes you will find in Greek mythology the gods of the water, gods of the thunderbolt. These are not imagination. Actually they are facts
- Sometimes, if Krsna takes special care for you, He'll do in such a way that you will have no other way than to go back in. He'll take charge

- Suppose if I say before you that "There is nobody greater than me," oh, you'll think, "Oh, Swamiji is very proud." Yes. If a man like me, who is conditioned by so many restriction, if I say that I am the greatest of all, that is a blasphemy
- Suppose if I simply give you a lump of flour. Will you enjoy? But the same flour, you make kachoris, singara, luci, puri and this, you'll enjoy. The ingredient is the same, but when it is variety, it is enjoyable. Similarly, spiritual varieties
- Suppose somebody advances $200 for purchasing a cow; you will have to repay the debt by supplying $200 worth of ghee. After that, the cow becomes your property
- Suppose we are conducting this KCM. Nobody is interested. Very few interested. But if we give some false hope that, "If you follow this path, then within six months you will become God, and you will be all-powerful" oh, so many people will come
- Suppose you can eat two ounce, and if you eat four ounce, then you have to starve three days. This is the law. "There's some very palatable dishes. Now eat, let me eat it to my satisfaction," and you'll overeat
- Suppose you have stolen something from somebody's house or some friends. You will not be happy, even possessing that thing, stolen property. But if someday you come to return that thing to that friend, you will be happy
- Suppose you live for three thousand years, what you will gain if you remain ignorant? Better live for a few years and understand that - This material world is worse. I have to go to the spiritual world and meet Krsna

- Tad viddhi pranipatena pariprasnena sevaya. So we have to approach the real person who has seen. Then you'll get the right goal of life
- Take Krsna consciousness diligently, put your arguments, logic, understanding, and you will find it is sublime. That is the basic principle of my movement
- Take some regular income. Be comfortably situated. Advance in Krsna consciousness. Bas. That is happiness. In your whole life you'll never be disturbed for economic condition. That I am arranging
- Take to Krsna consciousness. You'll get these other things (material happiness) besides
- Tattva means the Absolute Truth. Now, so far tattva is concerned, you'll find in the Bhagavad-gita that Krsna is the supreme tattva, Absolute Truth
- Tell the Lord of the happiness you will feel in traveling via the banks of the Ganges. Balabhadra Bhattacarya therefore submitted this prayer to Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu
- Thank you for the nice sentiments expressed therein. Go on chanting and reading our books, and gradually you will advance in Krishna Consciousness
- That (how offering this capati to Krsna, and Swamiji said namo brahmanya devaya, and it becomes spiritual) we have to understand by the result. Phalena pariciyate. If you eat this spiritual food, you'll get spiritual strength
- That (standing in the wind and snowfall, the whole year) sort of happiness the tree may enjoy. But you are human being. You will say, - Oh, this is the standard of his enjoyment
- That is a sacred place. If you go simply on the Ganges side on the bank of the Ganges, Yamuna, you will find immediately purified your mind. Immediately. Or on a seaside where there is nobody disturbing. These are sacred places
- That is Krsna consciousness. When every step you'll simply see Krsna, that is Krsna . . . That is possible, provided you follow the footstep of Prahlada Maharaja. That will be possible
- That is the process of cleansing your heart. If you cleanse your heart, then you will understand what Bible says, what Veda says. It requires to be purified
- That is the test. If one is actually advanced in Krsna consciousness, you'll not find any fault in him. That is Krsna consciousness
- That is the Vedic civilization, that you work for three months, not very hard, simply till the ground and sow some food grain seed, and within three months it will grow, and you will have ample food grains, and you'll keep it in stock. And keep some cows
- That is your duty - to find out a man who knows God. Then you'll get. Just like . . . this is commonsense affair. Suppose if you want to purchase something in the market, some milk. So you have to know that - I'll have to go to some store
- The arrangement is pre-arrangement. You may work day and night, hard labor, but you'll get whatever is destined to you. That's all. You cannot get more. That is being taught by Prahlada Maharaja
- The art is how to apply authority and discipline so they will enjoy it and not reject, and I think you all instructors are learning yourselves that art more and more, and this pleases me very much

- The dancing has got great value; that, if you dance with us, you'll feel. It is not that some crazy fellows are dancing. No. The most intelligent persons, they are dancing
- The dehi, the spirit soul, is within this body. Now you apply your logic and reason, you will see, "Yes. It is all right." That is the system of Vedic civilization: that anything which is described in the Vedas, that is real proof; that is real knowledge
- The difficulty is, as soon as we misinterpret to our whims, to show our scholarship, it is spoiled. Don't do that. Read it as it is and you will get the benefit

- The followers of varnasrama-dharma - they never tried for economic development. You'll find in India, still, millions of people taking bath in the Ganges during Kumbha-mela. Have you have been to the Kumbha-mela festival
- The frogs in the well, they cannot understand. You should be not a frog in the well; you should be liberal to hear from the authorities, Vedas. Then you will understand
- The highest pleasure in the material world is sex. But you cannot enjoy it twenty-four hours. That is not possible. You can enjoy it for few minutes. That's all. Even if you are forced to enjoy, you'll reject it: "No, no more." That is material
- The kitchen should be very neat and clean, washed twice daily, opened nicely and smeared with water and gobar. And if you see the kitchen, immediately you'll feel comfortable
- The land which is known as Vrndavana, it has also got unlimited potency. Still, as I have several times mentioned, if you go to Vrndavana you'll find unlimited potency of spiritual atmosphere still
- The living entity falls down from the spiritual world. Just like Jaya-Vijaya. There is possibility, if you do not stick to the spiritual principle, even if you are in Vaikuntha you will fall down, what to speak of this material world?
- The Lord (Caitanya) replied, "You should engage yourself in the service of the servants of Krsna and always chant the holy name of Krsna. If you do these two things, you will very soon attain shelter at Krsna's lotus feet"
- The Lord said, "My dear Arjuna, do not desist from fighting. If you gain victory in the fight, you will enjoy a kingdom, and even if you die you will be elevated to the heavenly planets"

- The more we engage our time, nityam bhagavata-sevaya, the dirty things becomes cleansed, gradually. Just like when you are hungry, you are given foodstuff, you eat. The more you eat, your hunger is satisfied. You'll feel strength
- The more you beautify the Deities, the more your heart will be beautiful and you will understand Krishna Consciousness very distinctly
- The more you chant Hare Krsna maha-mantra, your, the heart disease, material enjoyment, that will decrease, and then you will understand what is your position and you will be gradually attracted by Krsna
- The more you practice (chanting HK) you will understand, because unless the heart is cleansed . . . it takes some time. Anything, any education, any schooling, it takes a little time to understand. But it does not take very much, a great deal of time
- The more you render service, the more you become enlightened. If you simply philosophize, theorize, you'll get no benefit. You must render service

- The reporter asked me "What is the solution of this oil crisis?" The solution is Krsna consciousness, it is already there, but you rascal, you will not take it. Solution is already there
- The sastra says: "No other method will be successful." Kalau nasty eva nasty eva nasty eva gatir anyatha (CC Adi 17.21). Karma, jnana, yoga. So therefore three times stressed, nasty eva. "By karma you will not be successful." Time is different
- The secret is that we have not cheated people, we have not adulterated. If you put something for sale in the market which is very pure, automatically you'll get many customers. Automatic. Because the thing is pure

- The sun ray is a small molecular, glazing atom, the sun ray. You have got experience of sun ray, but what is the sun ray? It is not homogeneous. It is heterogeneous. When you can analyze the sun ray, you'll find small particles of molecules
- The sunlight is so extensive, all over the universe. Where you'll find that place? That means that place is beyond the sky. That is also stated, Beyond this material nature there is another, spiritual nature
- The Supreme Lord, Personality of Godhead, is the oldest of all, but whenever you'll find, you'll find just like a young man. Adyam purana purusam nava-yauvanam ca. Nava-yauvanam means just a fresh youth
- The ultimate perfection or success is go back to Godhead, back to home. So when KC will be perfect, you'll be transferred from this planet, or from this material world, to the spiritual world, and you'll talk with Krsna just you are talking with me
- The Vedic information is called sruti. Just try to hear. You haven't got to be educated or literate. God has given you these two ears, and you can learn. Simply you have to learn from the authorized sources. Then you will understand God

- There are different duties, but the real duty is samsiddhir hari-tosanam (SB 1.2.13), whether you have satisfied Krsna. Then you'll have done all duties
- There are many scriptures in the world. The Hindus have got the Vedas; the Christians have got the Bible; the Muslims, they have got Koran. Now, if you read all these scriptures, you will find something contradictory. Just like animal killing
- There are so many Mayavadis, they are going on perpetually: "What is God?" Neti neti: "This is not, this is not, this is not. What is Brahman?" So by that process you'll never be able to understand what is God
- There are so many so-called swamis. They are coming, and they are preaching that "You are God. I am God." Then who is God? Everyone is God? No. Therefore you will find in the Vedic literature definition of God

- There is a story that one fool was sitting on a branch of a tree and he was cutting off. And somebody said, "You'll fall down." "Ha, fall down." But when he fell down he said - Oh, you are a great astrologer
- There is a valuable jewel stone. If you turn, you will find many colorful manifestations, although that stone is one. Similarly, although God is one, He can manifest Himself in many forms. That is the prerogative of God
- There is another statement as follows, "Please look at this devotee of the Lord who is dancing just from remembering the lotus feet of Krsna. Simply by observing his dance you will lose all interest in even the most beautiful women"

- They are making machine perfect, but they cannot make themselves perfect. Why don't you ask that "Why don't you make a machine that you will not die? Your machine will not die, I accept. You are so perfect. But why you will die? Why he will die?"
- They are passing M.A., B.A. examination, and so many titles, academic career. Mayayapahrta-jnanah. This kind of knowledge has no value. The value is already taken away. Therefore you will find highly educated person: he is committing sinful life
- They are so much absorbed in this chanting and dancing, they are no more interested in sex. That is the only way. If you want to stop the pleasure of sex, then you have to take this pleasure, this transcendental pleasure. You'll forget everything
- They gave up this, but that does not mean he became zero. Zero is sunyavadi, voidism. No, you cannot remain in zero. That is not possible. If you accept this void philosophy, to make everything zero, that is artificial. Then again you'll fall down

- Ultimately, with the advancement of Kali-yuga you'll have no food. Food means there will be no food grains, there will be no milk, there will be no sugar, like that. No fruits. If you get fruits, there will be no pulp, it is simply seeds
- Under illusion you (Arjuna) are now declining to act according to My (Krsna) direction. But, compelled by the work born of your own nature, you will act all the same, O son of Kunti
- Unless we take Krsna's association there will be no ananda; it is simply zero. In the zero platform you cannot remain for many years or many days. Then you'll fall down. If you don't get, if you don't increase your affection for Krsna
- Unless you purify your existence, you will hanker after happiness but will not always be happy
- Unless you voluntarily give, it will be failure. You will try to find out ways how you can take everything . . . just like income tax. The government is trying to take more money from the public, & public is hiding them in black market. This is going on

- Veda says that the stool of cow is pure. Now, you will say, - Oh, this is contradictory. Sometimes it is said pure, and sometimes . . . this cow is also animal
- Veda-vada-ratah partha nanyad astiti vadinah (BG 2.42), Bhagavad-gita, you'll find. People are very much attracted by these ritualistic ceremony. Not only the followers of the Vedas, in every religion
- Vedic knowledge is to receive knowledge by descending process, knowledge coming from authority. That, that you will find in the Bhagavad-gita, Fourth Chapter: evam parampara praptam imam rajarsayo viduh
- Vedic knowledge means to understand Krsna. The more you understand Krsna, then you will become vipra. And when you become vipra, then there are twelve qualifications. That is being stated here - viprad dvi-sad-guna-yutad aravinda-nabha - SB 7.9.10
- Vedic knowledge says sometimes contradictory. Just like cow dung, stool of an animal, is pure. And if you analyze, you will find it is pure. So our process of acquiring knowledge is from the Vedas
- Vedic literature is not written at a certain time. It is coming. It is called apauruseya. It is not man-made. So you have to study very scrutinizingly, then you will understand
- Vrtrasura encouraged Indra, saying, "Don't be morose because of my victory. There is no need to stop fighting. Instead, you should go on with your duty. When Krsna desires, you will certainly be victorious." This verse is very instructive
- Vrtrasura told Indra, "If you want to kill me, since I am your enemy, take this opportunity. Kill me. You will gain victory, and I shall go back to Godhead. Your deed will be equally beneficial for both of us. Do it immediately"
- Vyasadeva has given the symptoms of Kali-yuga. One thing, there will be no rain, scarcity of rain. And naturally there will be scarcity . . . Durbhiksa. Durbhiksa means you will not be able to get anything by begging also. Bhiksa

- Water now, in this season, the summer season, you will find very pleasant. The same water, in the winter season, it becomes pinching. So water as it is - neither pinching nor the source of pleasure. But it is due to this body
- We accept also, "God created." But in the Vedic literature you will find how God created
- We accepted the tridandi - you will have seen in my name "tridandi." Tri means three. Three. What is that three? What that three? The mind, the body and the words
- We are attached to the love of this material world, but we are all disappointed. From everyone's experience, you'll find
- We are fighting due to different consciousness. But if we really come to the platform of spiritual consciousness, or Krsna consciousness, then you will become immediately one. Oneness

- We are not meant for giving you any bluff, that "You give me some fee," or "I shall give you some mantra, and whatever you like you can do, and if you meditate or do that, then you'll become one with God." These things are not our business
- We are not poor-feeding. That is not our philosophy. Like Vivekananda. Daridra-narayana-seva. No, we are not after that. We are giving you prasadam. And that is fact, that by eating, eating, eating, eating, you one day will become Krsna conscious
- We are not sentimentalists, that we are simply dancing. The dancing has got great value; that, if you dance with us, you'll feel. It is not that some crazy fellows are dancing
- We are paying because we have forgotten Krsna. Therefore now we have manufactured the nuclear weapon - Russia, America - and you will have to pay heavily
- We are sure that you will find this process (of chanting Hare Krsna and reading our books) very pleasing and very effective
- We are teaching Krsna consciousness movement that - What you will gain by this material way of life? Just try to understand Krsna, and then you will get the greatest benefit
- We are trying to be happy by changing the cell, by this "ism" to that "ism," by capitalism to communism, from communism to this "ism," to that "ism." That won't make us happy. You'll have to completely change from this "ism," this materialism, that's all
- We can say: "God. I am God," but if you have got sense, you will say that, "I am not the great God, but I am small God." That is sense
- We cannot remain without varieties. That is not possible. If there is nobody here, and you sit down, make meditation, you can sit down for fifteen minutes or twenty minutes, then you will go away
- We cannot simply give up. As it is said, that tyakta-karmanah, give up everyone, engagement, and tyakta-svajana-bandhavah . . . you'll become mad if you give up all these things, unless you have got staunch faith in Krsna

- We have got immense literature. If lifelong we try to understand, there is sufficient stock. It is not hackneyed. You'll get nava-navayaman. Newer and newer things
- We have to go to guru and surrender there. Without surrendering, you cannot learn anything. If you want to challenge guru, it is not possible. Then you'll learn nothing
- We have to learn from the authorized sastras, from the Bhagavad-gita, from Srimad-Bhagavatam, from Vedas, not from the rascals. Then you'll understand. Your real affection from Krsna will be awakened, and your life will be successful
- We have to see. Instead of criticizing in that adverse way, we have to follow the acarya. Acaryopasanam. So you'll find Ramanujacarya, Madhvacarya, Visnu Svami, Nimbarka, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, they have accepted in that way
- We have to study from the sastric vision. Sastra-caksusat. How you'll see? You'll see through the authority, scriptures. So these are the statements of authoritative scriptures

- We should not optimistically think, "Everyone is dying, but I shall live." Why will you live if everyone is dying? Your grandfather has died, your great-grandfather has died, other relatives of yours have died - why should you live? You will also die
- Well, knowledge means it is meant for few men. If you want men without any university degree, you will get many thousands. But as soon as say: "We want graduate," it will be minimized. Or as soon as you say "postgraduate," it will be still minimized
- What is survival? Who is going to survive? Do you mean to say by cultivating health culture, very strong, you'll survive? Nobody will survive. So who will survive? Only Krsna conscious. If he is strictly Krsna conscious, then he will survive
- What is that atomic energy? What is the use of it? We'll die. Without atomic energy you'll die. What is that control
- What is the meaning of Krsna consciousness? Is it a sentiment or fanaticism? No. It is a science. If you follow the rules and regulation and systematically, then all these qualities will develop. You'll practically see it
- What power you have got to see, first of all consider. Then you'll see God. You cannot see even what ordinary things, what to question of seeing God
- What you will do with money? If there is no grain, then will you eat money? (laughter)
- Whatever spiritual culture they have got, still they are happier than others. In India still in village you'll find a man with practically no income but he has got his happy home, good wife, a cottage, little bread, but he is happy
- Whatever you find in Brahma-samhita, the same thing you'll find in Isopanisad, the same thing you'll find Bhagavad-gita, same thing you'll find in other Vedic literature
- Whatever you want you'll find in Krsna. That is the unifying center
- When British rule came, their Lord Macaulay's private report was that "If you want to keep them as Indian Hindu, you will never be able to rule over." So it was British government's policy to condemn everything Indian

- When the man gets some money, he immediately purchases wine and women. So if you try to make society classless, you'll produce such men - useless men, disturbing to the social body
- When the material concept of life covers me, we cannot understand what is God. We say God is dead. So we have to uncover our eyes from this illusion. Then you'll see directly God
- When there is no food, you cannot eat this paper - it may be hundred dollars, five hundred dollars. But if you possess grains and cows, then you will never starve
- When we see Him (God). Then you will understand - whether you are pleasing Him or not
- When you are advanced you'll understand what is your relationship with Krsna. Then if you introduce yourself with that association, then the next stage is confidence that "Krsna will give me protection"
- When you are liberated, you will understand in which way you are related with Krsna. That is called svarupa-siddhi. But that is attained when you are actually perfect in devotional service
- When you are perfect in chanting and hearing, then you'll always remember Krsna. That means in the third stage you become the greatest yogi
- When you are perfect in spiritual life, you will understand what is your relationship with Krsna automatically. That is called svarupa-siddhi
- When you become expert in devotional service, then you come to the spiritual platform. You will feel ecstasy
- When you eat you needn't require to ask anybody whether you are feeling strength or your hunger is satisfied. If you eat, you understand that you are satisfied. Similarly, if you serve God, you'll understand that, God is dictating me. I am seeing God
- When you study very carefully all of the literature which is available, especially Bhagavad Gita As It Is, you will have in your grasp answers to all questions that may be put to you
- When you take chili from the market you see how much, what is the degree of its hotness. If it is very hot, oh, it is very good chili. If you find a chili sweet like sugar, oh, you'll reject it
- When you talk with the Supreme Personality of Godhead, dance with Him, that is sublime perfection. Otherwise, you will have to dance with the dog
- When you will be devotee, lover of God, then, by that ointment, your eyes will be cleared and you will be seeing God. Now, here is God, Krsna. Here is God. Why the people in Bombay, those who are challenging, "Can you show me God?" they do not come here?
- When you will be perfect in love, in loving Krsna, then in what status of life you will love, that will be revealed. That is called svarupa-siddhi
- When you will feel that, "There is no problem. I am chanting, glorifying. So I am becoming merged into the ocean of bliss," that is perfect life. That is the symptom
- When you'll not be influenced by the material qualities, rajo-guna, sattva-guna, tamo-guna. And the test is that nidrahara-viharakadi-vijitau, that conquering over the sleeping, nidra
- When you're actually on the platform of love of God, you understand your relationship with God: "I am part & parcel of God - and this dog is also part & parcel of God. And so is every other living entity." Then you'll extend your love to the animals also
- When your loving spirit is developed fully like the full moon, then in the full moon night, as you can visualize the whole city, similarly, by raising yourself to the platform of loving service of Krsna, you will see God face to face
- Whenever there is some chance, just preach this (Hare Krsna and the science). Whenever there is chance. But you should always know that you will find enemies, but you don't be afraid. Go on with your work
- Whenever you'll see Krsna, He's just a perfect young boy, nava-yauvanam ca. You'll never see Krsna's picture as He has become old, He has grown some big, big beard and . . . no. Krsna, you'll never see. Krsna is just like a twenty-years-old young boy
- Where is the difficulty (of following sanatana dharma)? And Krsna promises, mam evaisyasy asamsaya: "If you do this, you'll come to Me. Without any doubt you'll come to Me." Why don't you do that
- Wherever you can try by pinching your body, you will feel some pain, this, this part of this body or this part of this body. And this pain feeling will be stopped as soon as the consciousness is taken away from this body
- Wherever you go, your this fate will go with you. If you are meant for getting ten thousand, you'll never get ten thousand, one hundred. This is called destiny
- Whether you want to gain higher material happiness or spiritual happiness, whether you want to live a better life on this planet or on other planets - whatever you want you will get if you please the Supreme Lord
- While Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu was departing, Sarvabhauma Bhattacarya submitted the following at His lotus feet, "My Lord, I have one final request that I hope You will kindly fulfill"
- Who is sannyasi? Anasritah karma-phalam. "I shall speak for Krsna." Then what profit you'll get? - No matter what is profit, I shall speak for Krsna. That's all
- Why not be satisfied with simple foodstuff? If you eat grains and vegetables and light foodstuff, you'll never get fatty. You see? You'll never get fatty. Reduce eating as much as possible. Don't eat at night. Practice yoga like this
- Why not take that austerity for permanent happiness? You have to purify your existence and your body. As many times as you accept a material body, you will have to change it. But as soon as you get a spiritual body, there is no question of change
- Why perform austerity? Why perform religious rituals? Why give in charity? All these activities are meant for pleasing the Supreme Lord, and nothing more. And when the Supreme Lord is pleased, you will get the result
- Why the young people go to the university? Why in the university you'll find all the students are young boys and girls? Why
- Why we should waste our time to find out how there is life, how it is working? Take instruction from Krsna. Everything is given. And if you are intelligent, you’ll understand; then you can learn
- Will you live forever? Then why do you speak that many are living? You cannot live. That is nature's law. You must die - today or tomorrow, it doesn't matter
- With every sense you analyze, you will find, not only your eyes, your all other senses, they are imperfect. Imperfectness of senses
- With great affection, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu said, "If you are angry with Me when you go to Mathura, you will merely become a beggar and criticize Me"
- With gun or without, gun, you will die. The fascist will die and the other party also will die. Gun or without gun, he cannot exist. But our fight is to stop death
- Within six months you'll become God - very foolish conclusion
- Within the heart. If you push your hand within his heart, you'll find he has got all desires for material enjoyment. That is called phalgu vairagya. On the surface there is no water; sand. But within, oh, there is flow of water, going on
- Within the mind you are creating so many ideas for enjoyment, Krsna is noting, "Yes, you'll have it. You'll have it. Just wait. Next life, next life, next life." In this way we are going

- You please chant this Hare Krsna, and if you go on chanting, you will find the solution of your life very easy. There is no expenditure and there is no loss
- Yare dekha tare kaha krsna upadesa (CC Madhya 7.128): Simply speak. Don't become very big upstart. Simply speak what Krsna has done. That's all. You'll become guru
- Yes, you will find defects. But if the devotees stick to Krsna consciousness principle, these defects will soon become finished
- Yoga system, adhyatmika, is being explained by Kapiladeva, that you'll never fall down. Permanent, fixed-up position. Once begun, it will continue. Even if you fall down, then you are given chance again

- You are animal of land. If you are put into the water, however expert swimmer you may be, you'll not be comfortable

- You are getting some profit by your karma, fruitive karma, but you are creating another life, another life. To enjoy the fruitive result of this karma you'll have to wait for next life
- You are getting twenty dollars a day now. Tomorrow I have no money. You will have to work free, - "Ah, no, no, sir. I'm not coming. Because I am not serving you, I am serving your money." So actually we are serving money
- You are hankering after happiness. That happiness, brahma-sukha, eternal happiness, you will get by practicing tapasya. So don't believe, don't make friendship with your restless mind. This is the instruction
- You are killing cows, the source of butter. Now, time will come, there will be no more cows. Misusing. And then where you will get butter? You cannot manufacture in your factory a cow or butter
- You are not learned, but you are talking just like a learned man." That you will find. Dr. Frog, speaking like a very great philosopher
- You are not strong enough to live there, so why you are making strong building? The building will stay, and you will die. So what is the use of making a strong building

- You ask me: "Give me some payment." "Yes, I give you post-dated check." Will you accept? At present, if you give me five dollar, I see something tangible & you're talking of big, big word, but you'll pay me in the future. So is it very sanguine proposal
- You be positively engaged in Krsna consciousness, in Krsna's service, then you'll always remain on the transcendental platform, making the material activities zero. That is wanted
- You bring any so-called followers of yoga society student and try to compare with any one of our student, you'll find he is far, far advanced. We challenge
- You can catch it as iron rod, but touch anywhere it will burn. It has got the quality of fire. Similarly, if you always keep yourself in Krsna consciousness then you become spiritualized. You'll act spiritually. No more material demands
- You can do it (to surrender to Krsna) immediately, but unfortunately you'll not do it. What can be done? There is a story, I may narrate it. One poor man was begging on the street, and Lord Siva and Parvati was passing as ordinary man
- You can find out some rich man, but you cannot find out the richest man. Every day you will find so many competitors. So as soon as you find the richest man, nobody can surpass him, then he is God
- You can make a stack of cow dung here. It will never disturb you. You'll, rather, feel pleasure, passing through that portion of field where cow dung is stacked. You'll never feel any disturbance because it is pure
- You cannot avoid the natural occurrence of various social divisions. Nature's caste system will remain. Take, for example, the brahminical quality of truthfulness. All over the world, wherever you go, you'll find at least one person who is truthful
- You cannot change your destiny. If you have to be, have to work like a coolie, even after becoming Ph.D. you'll have to work like a coolie. You cannot change it
- You cannot execute any severe type of religious principles. Simply take to this chanting of Hare Krsna mantra. Param vijayate Sri-krsna-sankirtanam. You'll come out triumphant
- You cannot expect that wherever you are going you'll find favorable situation to talk. That you must understand. But you'll have to preach; you have to create favorable situation. That is your duty
- You cannot give up your wife, children, kingdom, artificially. Artificially, if you give up, then you will again fall down. Artificially, I give up my wife, and then I seek another's wife. This is nonsense
- You cannot remain as American. You may think that you are born in America, you are very happy. But you cannot remain as American for long. You'll have to be kicked out of the place, and next life you do not know
- You cannot say that, "I am eating, also I am not satisfied in my hunger." That cannot be. If you are actually serving Krsna, then Krsna will reveal to you. You will know what is Krsna, asamsayam samagram mam, without any doubt. Here is the test
- You could not abolish the truthful class of men even if you wanted to. You'll find truthful men everywhere. You simply have to train them
- You drink the blood of the cow by natural process, which turns into white milk. You'll get better brain, better strength. Therefore cow protection is very essential in Vedic civilization
- You enjoy. You want to forget Krsna, or God? All right. I'll give you intelligence so that you will never be able to understand what is God
- You get good parents, good family, where you'll be allowed to practice this system, & automatically you'll get chance again to revive your same consciousness in which you left your previous body. That is explained here, - by virtue of divine consciousness
- You give a small bird some grains. You'll see like this: "Is there enemy? Somebody's coming. Somebody's killing me." So full of anxieties. This is the condition. This is the condition. So you cannot, you cannot be free from the anxiety
- You have got fourth-class, tenth-class culture. How you'll understand the culture of becoming meek and humble?
- You have got, all, experience. You stand up; you'll see a long shadow on your back side. So that is maya. The maya is the back side
- You have now got the golden opportunity of this human form of life, and it is not by accident that you have met your spiritual master, so if you are actually intelligent you will take advantage of Krsna's blessings upon you
- You have seen in our temple how happily they are living and dancing from their face. Face is the index of mind. You will understand from their face how happy they are feeling
- You have to avoid sinful activities like illicit sex, meat-eating, gambling, and intoxication, including tobacco, coffee, and tea. Then you'll gradually become completely sinless
- You have to be purified. It does not take much time. Within six months you will realize your progress. But you have to follow the regulative principles. Then it will be all right. Just like these boys and girls are doing
- You have to become God conscious. Then you will understand what is God. It is not a so trifle thing you ask me and in one minute, you understand God. That is foolishness. You have to study the science of God. God is not so cheap
- You have to collect the ointment of love for Krsna. And if you apply that ointment on your eyes, then . . . Just like we use surma for clear vision, similarly, when the love of Krsna surma is applied on the eyes, these eyes, you'll see Krsna
- You have to develop love for Krsna and you'll see Him. He can be seen by love, not by your method. He is not under any method, but He is under love
- You have to die. Then where is your happiness? If you can make such arrangement that you will not die, whatever you have created you will enjoy, then it can be said as happiness. But that is not possible. You have to die
- You have to find out such person. Then your life is successful. So that will also . . . you will get according to your sincerity of purpose, because Krsna is within you
- You have to go to guru. Guru means who knows more than you. That is guru. So who can know more than Krsna? Therefore we have to accept Krsna as guru and learn from Him. Then you'll get perfect knowledge
- You have to remain within the conditions of material nature. Daivi hy esa gunamayi mama.... You cannot violate. If you want to violate the laws of nature, then you will create another difficulty
- You have to study the subject matter very scientifically. Then you will understand that although Krsna comes as a human being, still, He maintains His position as God. That is real understanding
- You have to take knowledge from the perfect source. Then you can understand. This is Vedic injunction. If you want to know perfectly everything, then you must go to the proper teacher. Then you will learn
- You have to take shelter, not find out. You have to take shelter of a bona fide spiritual master. That is the beginning, adau gurvasrayam sad-dharma-prccha. Then you'll have to inquire, inquiry, sad-dharma, about pure devotional service
- You have to understand by pranipatena, by submission, not by challenging. If you challenge, then you will never be able to understand. This whole process is submission. Sarva-dharman parityajya mam ekam saranam vraja
- You just dissect your body, what you'll find? You'll find there is blood, there is flesh, there is nerves, there is intestines, there is stool. Is that the ingredient of your so much intelligence?
- You may also accept iron as gold. That is your ignorance: you do not know what gold is. But if you actually know what God is, you will accept Krsna as God. There is no doubt about it
- You may be a first-class prisoner or second-class prisoner, third-class prisoner, but you will remain a prisoner. But if you want freedom, then you must go out of the prison walls
- You may love humanity, but because you do not love Krsna, therefore you do not love the cows; you send them to slaughterhouse. So your love will remain defective. It will never be complete. And if you love Krsna, then you will love even the small ant
- You may think that, having been born in America, you are very happy. But you cannot remain an American for long. You will have to be kicked out of that place
- You mentioned that you are not yet a very bold preacher, but you will become bold, if you've got sincerity. In the beginning also I could not speak. But Krsna is within you, & when you're serving Him sincerely He'll give you courage, boldness, everything
- You must do according to the rules and regulations of the government. Then you make profit, be happy. That's another thing. But if you act vikarma, against the rules and regulations of the state, you commit theft or this or that, then you'll suffer
- You practically make experiment. You take cow dung and apply anywhere, you'll find it is pure. Immediately purified
- You prepare cheese and fry it. You'll get the same taste. But let the animal live, take its milk, and prepare so many milk preparations. But these rascals will not do. You kill simply for this tongue. It is so strong, this tongue
- You read Bhagavad-gita. It was spoken four hundred millions of years ago, and then again, five thousand years ago. Still, if you read Bhagavad-gita daily, you will find it fresh. You will never find it old. As Krsna is never old
- You read the books, Then you'll understand. Instead of asking me, you better read the books. That is real understanding
- You remain as Christian. It doesn't matter. But there is no harm in hearing Bhagavad-gita. There is no harm. You'll get knowledge. You'll get knowledge. You'll become better Christian. You'll become better American
- You rot in this material world in this hellish condition of life. That instruction you'll get in the colleges and universities. But Krsna's instruction is different. He'll give you instruction to go back to home and back to Godhead
- You shall eat whatever you require for proper upkeep of the body, not eating too much and sleeping whole day. Don't do that. Eat only what is absolutely necessary. Then you'll never be in want
- You should keep yourself to the standard of brahminical culture. Then there is guarantee that you don't degrade yourself; you get higher status of life in the higher planetary system: Janaloka, Maharloka, Tapoloka, Satyaloka. Then you will get
- You simply talk of him? You practice Buddha if you appreciate him. You give up everything like Buddha and meditate. But that you will not do. Then what is the talking of, useless talking about this? Do something
- You take advantage of our humble service, and then you'll understand and you'll know. There will be no difficulty
- You take any literature, any Vedic literature, religious literature, you'll find that the whole literature, whole knowledge, is aiming at Krsna. That is the purport of all Vedas and religious scripture
- You take the basic principle of knowledge, and then you make your experiment, and you'll know this is perfect
- You try to trace out the history of the world, you'll find always persons who are for Krsna or God, they have been persecuted. Jesus Christ was crucified; Haridasa Thakura was caned in twenty-two marketplaces; Prahlada Maharaja was tortured by his father
- You want to solve something; instead of solving, you'll create so many problems. This is material life. Because our life is not meant for solving problems and creating problems. Our life is meant for understanding God
- You will also be able to understand. It is not very difficult subject. But you must be sincere to understand. That is the only qualification required. That's all
- You will be pleased to know that now I have got 24 branches - perhaps you have seen the list in our "Back to Godhead." Our Indian Vaisnavas are helping me by contributing each one pair or more Radha Krishna Murtis for our different Temples
- You will be surprised to know that Lord Caitanya had a very poor friend. In His childhood He had a poor friend. His name was Sridhara. His income was daily, in those days, five hundred years before, his income was, say, about five cent daily
- You will come out triumphant of all others. Actually that is happening. What we are doing? We are not playing any magic. How this Krsna consciousness movement is increasing?
- You will die today or tomorrow. That's all. If you want to save yourself, then go to Krsna. That is our proposal

- You will find in Srimad-Bhagavatam, each word is transcendental. Each word is full of meaning and transcendental knowledge, because the writer, the composer of this transcendental book, is Vyasadeva. He is perfect, Vedavyasa, perfect in Vedic knowledge
- You will find many healthy persons in India subsisting only on these vegetarian foodstuffs, and they have good brain also
- You will find many so-called bhaktas crying, falling down on the ground. But immediately after, he is smoking bidi. So why this is going on? Because they do not follow the injunction of Srila Rupa Gosvami
- You will find so many yogis; they can play jugglery, magic, but they are not devotees. They will not surrender to Krsna
- You will find that one who is very experienced medical practitioner, he gives you a prescription, and you visit him again and again, he gives you the same prescription, unless you are cured
- You will find that they talk better than any great philosopher, better than any scientist or politician. That is the quality of my students. What's the point in talking nonsense?
- You will find the so-called sannyasis - not bhaktas - they undergo severe austerities, penances, but after some time they come to the worldly atmosphere. Because they could not get any place, therefore they come down
- You will find today's text. It has given very nice example, that the prostitute changes her dress to attract people. Similarly, we are changing our dress for sense gratification. Yes
- You will get different body, not exactly this body. It is bubble. One bubble lost, that is lost forever. But we are so foolish, we are thinking, "This is permanent settlement." This is called ignorance. There is no question of permanent settlement
- You will get the statement there (in Pumsavana) how the husband and wife is advised to worship Narayana, Laksmi-Narayana. Therefore you will find in Hindu culture, every family, Laksmi-Narayana worship, the husband and wife
- You will have a nice son, who will be in no way inferior to Lord Brahma. Consequently, he will be very famous all over the universe, and the sons and grandsons generated by him will fill the three worlds
- You will know that I am walking behind you by the sound of My ankle bells
- You will not be too much involved with local temple management, but for management which will require the larger interests, that will be your responsibility as GBC
- You will put forward so many impediments to understanding these three things (Krsna is the enjoyer, proprietor, and friend), and that is the cause of our trouble
- You will see every living entity as part and parcel of God. So Krsna realization and God realization makes you universally conscious that everyone is part and parcel of God and that situation is very nice, that is called spiritual life
- You will see in big, big cities, how they are going by the daily, passengers how they are hanging in the buses, going. Why? Why they are working so hard?
- You will see Krsna gradually. He will be revealed. He'll be present immediately. It is all revelation. Not that by your eyes you can see. But if you follow the prescription, the direction, you will see Krsna daily, always, twenty-four hours
- You will see Me in all living entities as well as all over the universe, just as fire is situated in wood. Only in that state of transcendental vision will you be able to be free from all kinds of illusion
- You will see that how much profusely the earth was producing during the time of Maharaja Yudhisthira, because the executive head of the state was a pious, so how nature was helping. Nature was helping. Now India there is scarcity
- You will see there are great sages, saintly persons, who understand the meaning of Vedic literature, and they live up to the standard of Vedic life
- You won't find any difference between Bhagavad-gita or Srimad-Bhagavatam or any Vedic literature. It is to be understood through proper channels
- You write to say that by 3 o'clock in the evening you get a slight fever, and your head begins to ache, and you feel tired and wish to take rest. This is not a very good sign. The immediate program is that you will have to be relieved from these symptoms
- You'll be surprised to know that my grand-spiritual master, my spiritual master's spiritual master, he was illiterate. And my spiritual master was the learned, greatest learned scholar of his age. Now, how he became the disciple of an illiterate man?
- You'll become hippie after going to the college. So they are saved. You'll become naked and you'll have, like cats and dogs, sex on the street. But these children are saved
- You'll find all the codes of brahma-sutra or Vedanta-sutra in Srimad-Bhagavatam, very nicely explained. It is practically the explanation of vedanta-sutra
- You'll find big, big businessmen, they have got very, very long project, "How to do this? How to do this? How to increase this factory? How to make it world-renowned?" and so on, so on, so on. There is no limit of anxiety
- You'll find everyone either sinful or lowest of the mankind or rascal or puffed-up with false knowledge. But the basic principle is: no God. So the only solution is let them first of all become God conscious. Then all solution
- You'll find in our temple, we are cooking so many nice preparations. Perhaps you have tasted some of them. But we are not preparing tea or coffee or meat - nothing. These are anarthas. What is the necessity?
- You'll find in the Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu evidences (Gosvamis making research from the Vedic literature) . . . nana-sastra-vicaranaika-nipunau sad-dharma-samsthapakau. What was the purpose? The purpose was to establish real religious principle
- You'll find in the Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu, wherever Srila Rupa Gosvami has stated something, immediately he has given reference from the sastras. He did not manufacture anything which is against the sastras. That is rupanuga, rupanuga-vaisnava
- You'll find in the Pacific Ocean in your front, the waves are constantly coming. It is never satiated. So Krsna's incarnation are also like that: incessantly coming, one after another. advaitam acyutam anadim ananta-rupam
- You'll find Krsna always with cows. Here is Krsna's picture, you see how He's loving the cow and the calf. He's personally teaching from His childhood, from His boyhood. So we should follow
- You'll find Krsna always, wherever He is, He is playing on flute with company, either gopis or cowherd boy or somebody, somebody. This is enjoyment
- You'll find many critics, many enemies, because you are making progress in Krsna consciousness. So the demons are always against this Krsna consciousness movement
- You'll find nowadays impersonalists, voidists, so many brahmanas, they have no idea what is the . . . what is God, who is God. That is called avaisnava. Vaisnava knows what is Visnu, what is God. But avaisnava, non-Vaisnava, they do not know
- You'll find so many, I mean to say, major portion, people, will say, - No, we do not know what is Krsna
- You'll find that when the dogs, they have sex life, they have no shame. So, many lusty people stand there and see. Seeing means they are willing, "If I could enjoy in the street like this." And sometimes they do
- You'll find that your material disease is being cured by spiritual foodstuff. That is practical. Therefore it is spiritual
- You'll find those who are animal killers, the so-called Christians and Mohammedans, they cannot understand. They (are) simply fanatics. Cannot understand what is soul, what is God
- You'll find, in the recent history, every twenty-five years there is a big war, slaughter, mass slaughtering of the people. How nature will tolerate?
- You'll find, therefore, in the comments of Bhagavatam by different acaryas, even there are some discrepancies, they are accepted as arsa-prayoga. It should remain as it is
- You'll find, throughout the whole instruction of Bhagavad-gita, not that blindly. There is submissive presentation: "Krsna, I cannot understand this." That is allowed
- You'll get all this, nice position, nice wife, nice power, famous... All this material, not spiritual. So to worship any other demigod than Krsna is materialism. That is not spiritualism
- You'll get, by this chanting Hare Krsna, your pleasure potency increasing more and more, more and more
- You'll have to fight, struggle for existence. This is material life. And at the same time, if you make compromise, that "Never mind, it is full of miseries. I shall stay here," no, you cannot be allowed. You'll be kicked out
- You'll know Krsna will give you protection. You try your best, you use your intelligence, but believe in Krsna. Varasa neha pitaro nrsimha. If Krsna neglects, no other remedy can protect
- You'll never get perfection if you fall down. You can cheat others that, "I am in dress of a devotee, so I am . . ." But what is your character? What is your actual value? That has to be judged. That is called bona fide teacher
- You'll not be disturbed. If you chant, if you begin chanting Hare Krsna mantra, then your friends will criticize. It is very easy job
- You'll read in the Srimad-Bhagavatam, moon is the cause of vegetation, and there is no vegetation. Just see. Moon is the cause of vegetation in all planets, and they say there is no vegetation, it is simply dust. So we have to believe that?
- You'll see so many sahajiyas, professional: they can cry, but they have no love for Krsna. I have seen one professional reciter. He can cry, and he gathers many people around him
- You'll simply hankering after, but there will be no satisfaction. Therefore Narottama says, visaya-visanale. Visaya means these material demands, eating, sleeping, mating, these are called visaya. They are just like poison, fire. So everyone is burning
- Your sincere endeavor for serving Krishna is gradually being accepted by the Lord, and the more you endeavor for such service, the more you'll feel sublime in existence in direct contact with Krishna day after day
