A
- A devotee gives the nondevotees his association but is not affected by their misbehavior. Thus by the activities of a pure devotee even those who are bereft of love of Godhead get a chance to become devotees of the Lord one day

- One cannot become a devotee until one surrenders unto the Lord's lotus feet. Then the Lord gives one the intelligence from within by which one can return home, back to Godhead
- One cannot expect a very peaceful life within this material world. The sastra, the Vedic literature, says, padam padam yad vipadam (SB 10.14.58): at every step there is danger. But if one becomes a devotee, then one can escape - mayam etam taranti te

- They (Four kumaras) were impersonalist mayavadis, but after smelling the remnants of flowers and incense in the temple, they turned to become devotees
