- GBC does not mean to control a center. GBC means to see that the activities of a center go on nicely
- GBC means to be a practical example to all residents of temples and devotees
- Generally, as preachers, we are middle class devotees. So we should not remain as neophyte devotee who does not know how to preach. He simply goes to the temple, and offers everything with devotion to the Deity
- Get married outside the temple, take all risk for supporting wife and home, live outside the temple, like that. But they should live nearby and take part as much as possible in temple activities, such as mangala aratrik, sankirtana, etc

- He (one European gentleman) said that "I find in this temple there is God." "Why? Why you conclude like that?" "That in every temple I saw, that the god, deity, is doing something. But here I see the God is enjoying. He has nothing to do"
- He appears to plan to want to "close the door" to their present temple. So he has asked me for a decision

- I'm very happy to hear that you are once again in Berlin. When you first went to Germany by yourself, I was praying that Krishna would help you in every way to establish a center there in Berlin. Now you have done it by the grace of Krishna
- If a new temple site in Los Angeles is absolutely required to be moved in a bigger place, that should be your first business. For my place you may find a place near the temple, and it should be independent of any other tenants
- If each center must rely upon its own strength to stand, that will be better training ground for the devotees
- If he is not satisfied with the standard of lectures in our temple, then he should be permitted to give some lectures himself, but this habit of going outside to hear others should be stopped immediately
