- Fire is considered to be pure. Therefore any ceremony is done before fire-god. So, Krsna says that even fire is so pure, still there are some defect, there is smoke. So, if you want to find out defect, you'll find out in fire also
- First of all be qualified, then try to see Krsna. He is not exposed. Even a big man, if you want to see him, he may refuse, "No, I cannot see him." What can you do?
- For curing some disease the doctor says that injection or surgical operation. That is painful, but to cure the disease we should accept that thing. Similarly, if you want to become free from this material body, then you should accept, accept this pain

- If you want to be benefited, then you must take the shelter of mahajana, great personalities. Mahajano yena gatah sa panthah. If you are perplexed that "Who is mahajana? How can I find him?" that is also explained in the sastra
- If you want to be cheated, then do whatever you like and prolong your this term of repetition of birth and death. And if you want to stop it, then here, the tapasa brahmacaryena samena ca damena ca tyagena
- If you want to be designationless, then come to the association of such persons who are susilah sadhava yatra narayana-parayanah, persons who are simply interested in serving Narayana
- If you want to be elevated to the perfectional stage of life, then you must chant this Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare. That will help you. No other method, measures, will help you

- If you want to feel happiness by your these blunt material senses, that is not happiness. Happiness is beyond your material senses. Atyantikam. That is real happiness. Real happiness means it will never end
- If you want to find out the Absolute Truth through this rituals and priesthood, then the result will be that you will be bitten by some poisonous insects and your attempt will be unsuccessful
- If you want to find out where is soul, and if you dissect the heart, then soul is gone. That is another danger. Better understand from the authority. That is knowledge. Sastra-caksusa
- If you want to finish your individuality and merge into the existence of God, that is not very difficult job. Even the enemies of Krsna - Kamsa, Jarasandha, Dantavakra, Sisupala, and many demons - they also merged into the existence of Krsna
- If you want to force your senses to stop work, it is very difficult. But if you engage your senses for transcendental loving service of the Supreme Lord, it will be automatically stopped
- If you want to get out of the problems, then take to Krsna consciousness. Everything will be adjusted. This is the fact. Anarthopasamam saksad bhakti-yogam adhoksaje loka . . . these rascals, they do not know
- If you want to get out of this entanglement, there is complete arrangement, facility, complete facility
- If you want to get out of this illusion, maya, then you have to accept the Krsna's formula. Mam eva ye prapadyante mayam etam taranti te. Everything is there in the Bhagavad-gita for guidance if we accept the philosophy of Bhagavad-gita as it is
- If you want to get relief from this uncomfortable position of anxiety, then you must take to this Hare Krsna mantra. This is our request. You can try for it and you will see the practical result. It will not cost you anything; there is no loss about it
- If you want to get the knowledge by your own sense perception, you will never be able to come to the right conclusion; neither it is possible to get knowledge in that process
- If you want to get this (Raja-vidya) knowledge, then you have to take to Krsna consciousness. Otherwise, it is not possible. Just like a dog cannot get university education. That is not possible. He must get a human body
- If you want to give help a suffering in disease man, and bring some nice doctor, medical man to help him and bring some nice medicine, that is good work, but does it mean that it is guaranteed that he will be cured? No
- If you want to go back home, back to home, back to Godhead, then you have to become pure, without any contamination of this material world

- If you want to go high, you must have permanent shelter. If you can take rest there, then you cannot fall down. But if you have no rest, then you will have to fall down
- If you want to go into the sun planet, you have first to go into the sunshine; then you remain in the sunlight. It is not that when you reach the sun planet you will no longer be in the sunlight
- If you want to go to the higher planetary system where the demigods live, you can go. Therefore the karmis, by performing Vedic ritualistic ceremonies, they want elevation to the higher planetary system where the prolongation of life is very, very big
- If you want to go to the higher planetary system, you can go. Then take shelter of the demigods, worship Indra, Candra, Varuna. They are trying to go to the moon planet, but one cannot go there unless he's qualified to go there
- If you want to go to the moon planet, oh, there is no necessity of going by some sputnik or by mechanical arrangement. You can go there simply by following the consciousness to go to the moon planet. That is there in the Vedic literature
- If you want to go to the sun planet or moon planet - there are many heavenly planets - you can go there. Yanti deva-vrata devan. Then you have to prepare in this life how to go there. You cannot go there by force, with your sputnik or some jet
- If you want to have real knowledge, then you must worship acarya. Acaryopasanam. This is Vedic system
- If you want to hear Krsna, then He will give you such instruction as you will be relieved from this miserable condition of material life and go back to home, back to Godhead. He's ready
- If you want to improve your condition, if you want to come back to original constitutional position, then tapasya. Then you require to undergo austerity
- If you want to increase this sraddha, then you have to make association with the devotees. Just like all these European, American, Canadians, all my devotees, they came first to me when I began this Krsna consciousness movement in New York
- If you want to inquire, you must go to somebody who knows the thing. Therefore, immediately, in the very beginning of the Vedanta-sutra, there is duality, that one must inquire, and one must answer
- If you want to inquire. We are prepared to answer your inquiries. But we request you, please take seriously about this (Krsna consciousness) movement and you'll be happy, sarve sukhino bhavantu
- If you want to keep one in very exalted post, at the same time, if you want to find fault with him, then that is not good
- If you want to keep the social order, you must have to maintain the military strength, the police strength, and the court or the university. Everything is required. You cannot neglect one of them
- If you want to kill your enemy, you'll kill your enemy, not others. Other innocent people will not be killed. But nowadays, for defending, we are using atom bomb. So many thousands of innocent men are being killed
- If you want to know things which is beyond your conception, beyond your sense perception, then you must approach a bona fide spiritual master
- If you want to learn about God, then you must approach a person who is conversant in the science of God. That thing first required
- If you want to learn about that then you must find out a guru. What kind of guru? Just like Kapiladeva, Krsna, or His representative. Not a bogus guru. Then you will be cheated
- If you want to learn by studying scriptures, Vedic literature, you will find different scriptures, - Sama, Yajur, Rg, Atharva, then different Puranas. There are eighteen Puranas, Mahabharata. That is also impossible; means you cannot understand
- If you want to learn factually things, then you should approach acarya. Acaryavan puruso veda, "One who has accepted acarya, he knows things as they are." Acaryavan puruso veda
- If you want to learn Krsna, if you want to know Krsna, then you have to take this process, mayy asakta-manah partha yogam. And if you practice this yoga, krsna-yoga, or bhakti-yoga, then you become the topmost of all yogis
- If you want to learn something, you have to approach some expert in the matter, similarly, if you want to learn what is dharma, how to execute it, then you have to approach such gurus or their representative
- If you want to learn this Krsna consciousness movement, we have got enough books. You can scientifically and philosophically study
- If you want to live forever, then you have to take to Krsna consciousness. So Krsna consciousness movement is so important and nice. Everyone wants to live. So actually, if you want to live, then you take to KC
- If you want to love God, there is no material impediments. Ahaituky apratihata. It cannot be checked. You may be the poor of the poorest of the poor; still you can love God
- If you want to love God, there is nothing throughout the whole world which can check you. Simply you have to develop your eagerness: "Krsna, I want You." That's all. Then there is no question of checking
- If you want to love Krsna, there is no check. There is no check. The road is open. Simply you have to become sincere. That's all. Then Krsna will clear the way. And if there is no sincerity, then Krsna's maya is there
- If you want to maintain peace and prosperity of the worldly social order, you must create a class of men very intelligent, a class of men very expert in administration, a class of men very expert in production and a class of men to work. That is required
- If you want to maintain, keep the perfect human civilization, then you must maintain this varnasrama. Otherwise, there will be chaos
- If you want to make real progress, then you must be firmly faithful at the lotus feet of guru
- If you want to make research, then search out what is the original brain, not the process. Process is already going on. What is the use of your research, nonsense
- If you want to make some compromise, "Never mind it is a place of miseries. I'll stay here comfortably as much as possible." But Krsna says, asasvatam. Even if you make some compromise arrangement, you cannot stay here. You'll be kicked out
- If you want to make the world perfect, then not by karma, neither by mental speculation. That is not possible. The only means is bhakti, especially in this age
- If you want to make your life successful, then you should hear. You should take the seed of devotional service from the spiritual master. He will give you hint: "This is this." He will culture it, cultivate it, and it will grow
- If you want to manage things, there must be two classes of men, and two classes can be divided into so many other classes. Therefore the intelligent way of civilization is described in the Bhagavad-gita
- If you want to manufacture, that "I shall be happy in this way," that will also create another anxiety. That will create another anxiety
- If you want to offer me something, you inquire that "What shall I offer you? What do you like?" Similarly, if you invite Krsna to live in your house or temple, then you should ask Krsna, "Sir, what can I offer You?" Krsna said, patram puspam phalam toyam
- If you want to offer to God, then - God is all-pure - the things you offer, that must be pure
- If you want to please me, then you should ask me, "How can I Please you?" And if you do what I order, that will please me
- If you want to possess real knowledge you have to approach somebody who is perfect
- If you want to preach some rascal philosophy, you do. Why you take Bhagavad-gita? That is cheating
- If you want to prosecute any yoga system, this bhakti-yoga, Krsna consciousness, and chanting Hare Krsna . . . that is recommended in Vedic scripture, that is introduced by great authority like Caitanya Mahaprabhu
- If you want to prove that you are actually human being in this land, then you must take seriously the mission of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu and spread all over the world. That is the order of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. And it is not very difficult
- If you want to purchase something, once or twice you may be cheated. A third time, you are very intelligent. So even despite being cheated, you should try to find out who is the real preacher. That requires little intelligence
- If you want to purify your existence - because you are eternal - then you have to practice this tapasya. Not being carried away by the waves of material nature. You have to fight. You're fighting against. But you do not know how to fight. That is tapasya
- If you want to reach to the ultimate conclusion simply by arguments and speculation, that is not possible
- If you want to reach to the ultimate goal of life, where only blissful life, sac-cid-ananda-vigrahah, eternal body of knowledge and bliss, then you have to become sura
- If you want to realize God, then the other service, seva, not daya. You cannot show your mercy to God. God is full. There is no need of your showing mercy
- If you want to realize the Supreme Truth, then you must realize this: Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare/ Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare
- If you want to remain as a human being, then you must remain as perfect human being. Therefore no illicit sex. The cats and dogs, they can have illicit sex, & if the human being also have the same process, then where is the difference between cats & dogs
- If you want to remain in this material world and do hard work for sense gratification, that chance will be given to you. But if you want to go back to home, back to Godhead, that chance also will be given to you
- If you want to remodel your life, the society, the human society, nationally or internationally - everything is spoken here, international - then you have to take to the advice of Krsna
- If you want to revive real Indian civilization or Vedic civilization for the good of the whole human society, take to Krsna consciousness. You'll be happy. There is no doubt
- If you want to rise up to the platform of spiritual realization, then the formula is Sarvopadhi-vinirmuktam tat-paratvena nirmalam (CC Madhya 19.170). That is the beginning. That means beginning is the brahma-bhuta platform
- If you want to search out Krsna by studying the Vedic literature, then you will be baffled. It may be possible, but it is very difficult
- If you want to see God, Krsna, you cannot see Him. He is not there. He is in Goloka Vrndavana. But His influence is so extensive that even without His personal presence, things are going on so nicely. This is called Bhagavan
- If you want to see Krsna as very loving friend, He is Vamsi-dhari, Vrndavana-vihari. If you want Krsna as loving child, then He's Gopala
- If you want to see something, you must be trained up how to see. Like a scientist is seeing something through the microscope, and you want to see with naked eyes. How it is possible to see? You must adopt the process to see. Then you can see everything
- If you want to see the Absolute Truth, then neither Brahma nor Siva is required, but Visnu is required
- If you want to see to take the proof, "Whether this gentleman is my father," that is not possible. Because he became your father before your birth, how you can see? This is the way. You have to accept authority
- If you want to see what is mind, what is intelligence, what is soul, what is Supersoul, that is not possible to see by your these blunt eyes, conditional eyes
- If you want to select a guru, you have to see "Whether this person is fully surrendered to Krsna?" Then he is guru
- If you want to show any mercy at all to the living entities, then enlighten them in Krsna consciousness, as Prahlada Maharaja did. Otherwise, it is materially beyond your power to show mercy
- If you want to solve this real problem, then you should take up this nivrtti-marga. Nivrtti-marga means stop this way of sense gratification and take to Krsna consciousness. That is the way
- If you want to solve your problem for good, then these are the formulas we have described. What is that? You have to undergo austerities; you have to follow the restricted sex life. Samena - controlling the mind, controlling the senses. Then renunciation
- If you want to speak something from your side, you write your own book. Why should you take advantage of the popular book of Bhagavad-gita and misrepresent it? That is the fun
- If you want to speak something of yours, then you write another book. Why you are taking advantage of my book and misleading others?
- If you want to speak to a friend a thousand miles away, you have to go there and find him, or he has to come. The process is there. By electricity (telephone), immediately he comes. Is it not be possible?
- If you want to speak your own word, why you take Bhagavad-gita? How much, ah, devilish mentality. You want to speak your own philosophy - speak. Why do you take advantage of Bhagavad-gita? But that is going on
- If you want to spiritualize your vision, if you want to spiritualize your action, if you want to spiritualize the whole constitution of your existence, then you have to associate with the supreme spirit
- If you want to spoil this life under the influence of misleaders, you can do it. But if we prefer to take the sense of following leadership of Krsna, then our life is successful
- If you want to stick up to this artificial enjoyment of life, then you cannot enjoy or you cannot be elevated to your real constitutional position of eternal enjoyment
- If you want to stop the danger of death, then you have to understand what is that Absolute Truth. Just like I have given already the example of sunshine. If you come to the sunshine, there is no darkness
- If you want to stop the work of the senses, that is not possible. Simply we have to purify the senses
- If you want to stop this blazing fire of material existence, then you have to spread this Krsna consciousness movement all over the world
- If you want to study Bhagavad-gita, then you have to become a devotee. Simply academic educational qualification will not help you
- If you want to study whether man is mortal or immortal, there are two processes. Deductive process, you take the idea from superior person that man is mortal. If you accept, then your knowledge is perfect
- If you want to support it by many testaments, that is, of course, your business, but we take the direct meaning, "Thou shall not kill," the Christians should not kill
- If you want to surrender to Krsna, there is no checking, there is no hindrance. You can do it in any position. You can do it
- If you want to take advantage, full association of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, that is Krsna. Brahmeti paramatmeti bhagavan iti sabdyate (SB 1.2.11). Vadanti tattva-vidas tattvam yaj jnanam advayam. This is very important verse
- If you want to take pleasure in the company of Krsna and dance rasa dance, then you have to become pure, purified. That is sarvopadhi vinirmuktam, to free from all designation. Narayana parayana. Narayana society or Krsna society, the same thing
- If you want to taste what is God, you first of all try to cure your disease. Our disease, material disease, is the lusty desire. Lusty desire is so strong that you will find it is existing amongst the so-called religionists performing religious rituals
- If you want to tender the highest humanitarian service, you should all be conversant with God consciousness and raise people to understand this philosophy
- If you want to transfer the Trust to the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, the Society will do everything for the improvement of the Temple and also engage you as paid whole time manager on behalf of the Society
- If you want to travel I recommend you travel with the Sankirtana party, and chant Hare Krishna with them wherever you go. And you will profit by this sort of travel, whereas the other is a waste of time practically. So that is my opinion
- If you want to understand God, then this is the movement, Krsna consciousness. There is no other alternative. You cannot place any other scripture collected from the world where the science of God is so elaborately stated
- If you want to understand Krsna through philosophy and knowledge, there are immense provisions for this philosophy and knowledge in these books
- If you want to understand Krsna through philosophy and science, we have got three dozen books. So we can convince you both ways. If you are illiterate, if you have no knowledge, chant Hare Krsna and you will get your life back
- If you want to understand Krsna through philosophy, science and everything that we have got, that is also the same thing, and if anyone blindly accepts Krsna, the same thing. It doesn't matter. Because Krsna is Krsna
- If you want to understand Krsna, then go step by step, one by one. First of all read Bhagavad-gita, try to understand, and you surrender to Krsna as Krsna says, then you enter
- If you want to understand Krsna, then you have to adopt the process of bhakti. No other process
- If you want to understand Krsna, then you must approach a person who knows Krsna. It is not fanaticism or mental speculation. You have to learn the art scientifically
- If you want to understand that science, you must approach a bona fide spiritual master - This is very simple thing. If you want to learn engineering, then you must admit yourself in engineering college
- If you want to understand the Absolute Truth, then you have to follow great personalities, great devotees. Just like in the Western world, Lord Jesus Christ, you have to follow his principles
- If you want to understand the science of God, then we have to adopt this devotional service
- If you want to understand the Supreme Absolute Truth, take from His instruction, bhaktya mam abhijanati yavan yas casmi tattvatah - BG 18.55
- If you want to understand the tree, whole tree, you try to understand it from the root, not from the top. So disease, any disease, if you understand the root cause of the disease you can give proper medicine and he's cured
- If you want to understand this philosophy by your learning, by your academic career, we have got sufficient stock to supply you. Sufficient stock. Don't think that we are all sentimentalists, simply dancing. No. There is a background
- If you want to understand this philosophy through books, we are not in scarcity. We can supply you volumes of books. These books, some of them are demonstrated
- If you want to work, well, work day and night, but you work for Krsna. That is Krsna consciousness. If you don't work, if you are simply eating, if your father has got money and you are eating, oh, eat for Krsna
- If you want to worship the Supreme Lord, then you have to worship Him simply by service. There is no other process
- If you want to write something, read our Bhagavad Gita As It Is carefully and write something simple to benefit the common people
- If you want to, I mean to say, compensate the greatest sin you have committed in your Bhagavad-gita, then you join this Krsna conscious movement and rectify yourself

- In Bhagavad-gita Lord Krsna advised Arjuna - man-mana bhava mad-bhaktah: If you want to be perfect, just always think of Me, become My devotee, worship Me and offer your obeisances to Me
- In Bombay there are so many karmis, working very, very hard. If you want to see him, "No, sir, no, I have no time." What you are doing? "Working." What are you eating? "Four capatis. That's all." Why four capatis you are working so hard?

- Kapiladeva was one son, and when He was grown up He also said, - My dear mother, My father has left home. I will also leave home. If you want to take some instruction from Me, you can take. Then I shall go away
- Krsna's business is to make you forgetful because you want to forget. And when you are advanced, if you want know... If you want to establish, reestablish your relation, He will encourage you
- Krsna, we have already stated, is seated in everyone's heart. If you want to consult Him, He can give you instruction. The only thing is that you have to become qualified like Brahma so that you can received instruction from Him within the heart

- Last word (mad-yajino 'pi yanti mam) is, Krsna says that, "If one wants to come to Me," "Then he can also come to Me." Now you make your judgment: if you want to go back to the again animal forms of life, you can go
- Let everyone be engaged to his specific duty. It doesn't matter what it is. But if you want to see that whether your function is perfected, then you have to test it, whether by your activities Krsna is satisfied

- Nature has given this opportunity whether you want to go the sat-patha or asat-patha; whether you are again wish to go to the cycle of evolution or if you want to make further progress
- Not guru finds you. You have to find out guru. Guru is there. Guru is there. But if you want to be cheated, then you find out. And if you want to be cheated, the cheaters will... Guru-krsna-krpa

- Once a woman selling fruit was calling, "O inhabitants of Vrajabhumi, if you want to purchase some fruits, come here!" Upon hearing this, Krsna immediately took some grains and went to barter as if He needed some fruits - SB 10.11.10
- One who has seen or has realized the Absolute Truth, he knows that in the material world there cannot be any happiness. This conclusion should be made. This is simply phantasmagoria, if you want to become happy in this material world
- One who teaches this tattva-jnana, he is guru. Otherwise he's a rascal. So therefore the first indication is that if you want to become a real human being, then you must approach a real guru and learn from him

- Our American property, it is not forty lakhs-forty crores. So it is not joke. If you want to earn money and if you have got little brain, you can earn money in America like anything
- Our loving propensity has turned into lust at the present moment due to material condition. So if you want to purify that lust tendency into love, then you can see God. That is the condition
- Our principle is that if you want to understand God, then you must be sinless, because God is pure. Anyone who is sinful, he cannot understand God. That is stated in the Bhagavad-gita: yesam (tu) anta-gatam papam
- Our proposal is, that is first-class religion which teaches the followers to go back home, back to Godhead. It does not matter whether it is Christianity or Muhammadanism. Just like if I want to return to India, I shall see which plane goes faster & safe
- Our request is that if you at all want to understand what is God, don't go to the Mayavadi or Sunyavadi, but try to understand about God from God Himself

- Param brahma param dhama pavitram paramam bhavan. This is understanding. This is parampara understanding. If you want to understand Bhagavad-gita, if you want to understand Krsna, then you have to follow the footprints of the mahajanas
- People are engaged to earn money, working very hard day and night. So if there is such thing that simply by pleasing Krsna you can get as much money as you want, then why shall I earn money?
- People still go to observe religious ritualistic performances. And in the Vedas there is injunction, If you want to perform some ritualistic ceremonies, religious, then go to Kuruksetra
- Pravrtti-marga means if you want to enjoy the senses whimsically, as much as you like, that is called pravrtti-marga. And the other marga, way is the crossing, the nivrtti-marga: no more sense gratification. That is called nivrtti-marga

- Real honesty is that you should not encroach upon another's property. This is honesty. For instance, this is my table. If you want to take it away while going, is that honesty
- Recently we have received their picture, how nicely they're looking, the children. Children, they're innocent. If you want to kill, you can kill; if you want to train him just like a perfect man, you can train him

- Sastra, says tad-vijnanartham: "If you want to know the real problem of your life and if you want to be enlightened how to become Krsna conscious, how to become eternal, go back to home, back to Godhead, then you must approach the guru"
- Says in the Bhagavad-gita: If you want to stop this chaotic condition, then accept Me (Krsna) that I am the enjoyer and proprietor of this whole world, and I am your real friend. Let the business be done on My account

- Unfortunately nobody will be allowed to stay, even if you want to stay. That is the miserable condition of material life
- Unless one is KC, nobody can escape the cycle of birth and death. Nobody can. This is the only process if you want to stop. After giving up this body. You get immediately transferred to the spiritual world, & you get your eternal, blissful knowledge life
- Unless you come to Radha-Krsna, you cannot get real pleasure. If you want to dance and get pleasure, don't dance independently; dance with Krsna. Then you'll be happy

- Ye yatha mam prapadyante. That freedom is there. If you want to remain as a demon, then Krsna will supply you all the ingredients, how you can flourish as a demon
- Yes. That if you want to eat meat and chicken, then you first of all sacrifice before their deity. So at least they'll be restricted from eating meat purchased from slaughterhouse
- You are very much proud of your knowledge, but if you want to be at all a man of knowledge, a man of wisdom, then you should first of all keep before you the problems of birth, death, old age and disease
- You can perceive also by consciousness where there is presentation of soul, but if you want to measure by experiment, that is not possible. Therefore it is called aprameya. Prameya means direct perception. I can see or I can touch, I can handle
- You can turn this material world into Vrndavana provided you agree to fulfill the desires of Krsna. That is Vrndavana. And if you want to fulfill your own desires, that is material. This is the difference between material and spiritual
- You cannot learn to become a perfect human being without accepting guru. Then you remain a rascal. Tad-vijnanartham sa gurum evabhigacchet. That is the Vedic injunction. If you want to learn that transcendental science, you must approach a guru
- You could not abolish the truthful class of men even if you wanted to. You'll find truthful men everywhere. You simply have to train them

- You want to love somebody, but the love is misplaced, therefore you are baffled. Replace it to Krsna, you'll be happy. Love is there, that is not a new thing. But you are misplacing the love. That information we are giving
- You want to see Joan of Arc in Srimad-Bhagavatam? Why don't you take Joan of Arc of Srimad-Bhagavatam? Any activities of devotees, that is Srimad-Bhagavatam
- Your business is how to become Krsna conscious. You should not be disturbed by nature's process. But if you want to help anyone, just try to help him in relationship with Krsna. That will be real benefit
- Your business is to elevate yourself to perfect Krsna consciousness and nothing more. If you deviate from this law, if you don't accept this principle, if you want to enjoy more, then you have to suffer more. There is no question of forgetting
- Your main business is if you want to make success, your life, then save time for advancing in Krsna consciousness. That is proper utilization of life. That does not depend on destiny
- Your sense perception will be defeated if you want to realize God by your imperfect sense perception
