- Because they are sending sudras, ordinary workers, to Vietnam, these are unnecessarily being killed. Any country which is very proud of scientific advancement, and yet does not know how to organize its society, is a fool's society
- Because they are sudras (people who have very little intelligence), they don't ask these questions. A brahmana, however, one who is advanced in intelligence, will immediately inquire, - You rascals, wherefrom have you brought this bread

- Caitanya Mahaprabhu condemned this principle strongly. During His conversation with Ramananda Raya, He said that regardless of whether a person is born in a brahmana family or sudra family 1) if he knows the science of Krsna he must be a spiritual master
- Caitanya Mahaprabhu did not identify Himself with any of the eight varnas and asramas, namely, brahmana, ksatriya, vaisya, sudra, brahmacari, grhastha, vanaprastha and sannyasa. He identified Himself as the Supreme Spirit

- Democracy has proved a farce. It has no meaning, because people are not educated. People are mostly sudras. There must be four classes of men
- Devotional service performed by thinking of the Supreme Personality of Godhead is so powerful that although Prsadhra was cursed he avoided the terrible consequence of becoming a sudra and instead returned home, back to Godhead

- Educational institutions should not aim to teach technology, for a technologist cannot properly be called educated. A technologist is a sudra; only one who studies the Vedas may properly be called a learned man - pandita
- Either he's externally a brahmana, ksatriya, vaisya, sudra, American, Indian, black, white, it doesn't matter. That is bodily. When you come to the spiritual platform, that is one. Because spirit is one
- Either you become brahmana or you become ksatriya or you become vaisya or sudra, if you are not attached to the service of the supreme whole, then you are useless
- Engaging in the service of low-grade persons, however, is called sva-vrtti, the profession of the dogs. Specifically, brahmanas and ksatriyas should not engage in the low and abominable service of sudras

- Foolishly proud of their (pasandi's) material birth as brahmanas and their consequently higher position in the social order, they think of the other classes - namely the ksatriyas, vaisyas and sudras - as lower classes

- Generally, almost everyone is short-living. Asmin yuge, kalau, they are very short-living. Then again, mandah: all rascals. Mandah, third class; no first-class men. Practically no brahminical qualification. All sudra qualification
- God does not say: "Only the brahmin class of men, please come here. Others all rejected." No. He is inviting everyone. Even the lowest of the lowest, low-born, papa-yonayah, women, sudra or vaisyas, everyone
- Govinda came from a sudra family, but because he was initiated by Isvara Puri, he was certainly a brahmana. Sarvabhauma Bhattacarya here (in CC Madhya 10.136) asked Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu why Isvara Puri accepted a disciple from a sudra family
- Guru must transfer his qualities to the student. How it is there that a man makes one's person as disciple and he remains a sudra? What is this nonsense? Can sudra be initiated? No. No sudra can be initiated

- Haridasa Thakura, out of his great humility, did not want to violate these existing rules - that only brahmanas, ksatriyas, vaisyas and sudras can enter the temple of Jagannatha Puri
- Having divided the remaining food with his relatives, Rantideva was just about to eat his own share when a sudra guest arrived. Seeing the sudra in relationship with the Supreme Personality of Godhead, King Rantideva gave him also a share of the food
- Having no knowledge of the ultimate goal of life, such persons (sudras) whimsically enact laws without knowledge of life's purpose. The result is that no one is happy

- He (the true acarya) is the spiritual master of all the varnas (brahmana, ksatriya, vaisya and sudra) and all the asramas - brahmacarya, grhastha, vanaprastha and sannyasa
- He (Vidura) was practically insulted by Duryodhana's calling him a son of a sudrani, although it was not out of place to talk loosely in the case of one's grandmother

- Human civilization is based on the qualitative divisions of social order, namely the intelligent class, the martial class, the productive class and the laborer class
- Human life is meant for understanding the spiritual value of life, but on account of the people being sudras, they are not interested. They are forgetting the real purpose of life
- Human life is specifically meant for going back home, back to Godhead. That facility should be given to everyone, whether one be a sudra, a vaisya, a woman or a ksatriya. This is the purpose of the Krsna consciousness movement
- Human society all over the world is divided into four castes and four orders of life. The four castes are the intelligent caste, the martial caste, the productive caste and the laborer caste
- Human society is meant to follow strictly the varnasrama-dharma, which divides society into four social divisions (brahmana, ksatriya, vaisya and sudra) and four spiritual divisions - brahmacarya, grhastha, vanaprastha and sannyasa

- I (Caitanya Mahaprabhu) am not a brahmana, ksatriya, vaisya or sudra. I am not a brahmacari, grhastha, vanaprastha or sannyasi. What am I? I am the eternal servant of the servant of the servant of Lord Krsna

- I am not a brahmana, I am not a ksatriya, I am not a vaisya or a sudra. Nor am I a brahmacari, a householder, a vanaprastha or a sannyasi. I identify Myself only as the servant of the servant of the servant of the lotus feet of Lord Sri Krsna
- I approached many respectable friends for giving me at least one boy from each family to be trained up in this line of self-realization, but I was not successful. The parents had no interest, the same difficulty of sudra mentality

- It is said that the bhakti cult is meant for the sudras, vaisyas and the less intelligent woman class. But that is not the actual fact. The bhakti cult is the topmost of all transcendental activities, and therefore it is simultaneously sublime and easy
- It is said: A person who is very seriously engaged in cultivating devotional service with a view to crossing the ocean of nescience and who has completely abandoned all material activities should never see a sudra, a vaisya or a woman - CC Madhya 11.8

- Simply by manipulation, if one gets vote, he captures the governmental power. Sudra. He's a sudra. He is not a ksatriya like Maharaja Yudhisthira, trained up ksatriya
- Simply by satisfying the central point, Krsna, then you get samsiddhi. It doesn't matter whether you are a sudra or a brahmana or engineer or lawyer. The real point is how to satisfy Krsna

- The ksatriyas, vaisyas and sudras should eat only krsna-prasada, which is afforded them by the mercy of the brahmanas

- They should not be proud that "I am brahmana." No. As you are required, as much, the sudra is also required. It is not that only the brahmanas are required
