- Nanda Maharaja knew that Balarama was the son of Vasudeva, but he did not know that Krsna was also Vasudeva's son. Vasudeva, of course, was aware of this fact and inquired very eagerly about both Krsna and Balarama
- Narada advised him that "You have written so many books: Puranas, Vedas, Vedanta." But Vyasadeva said, "Still I am not feeling very satisfied." So Narada Muni advised that, You are not feeling satisfied because you have not described about the Supreme PG

- Sanatana Gosvami has, in his Hari-bhakti-vilasa, has very strongly recommended that "Don't hear anything from, about Krsna, from the Mayavadis or the avaisnavas."

- Tattvatah means in truth, not superficially. If you understand Krsna in truth, as He is speaking Himself about Himself. If you simply accept Krsna, what He says, if you follow, then you become perfect and you become fit for going back to Godhead

- There are two important krsna-kathas current in the world - Bhagavad-gita and Srimad-Bhagavatam. Bhagavad-gita is krsna-katha because it is spoken by Krsna , whereas Srimad-Bhagavatam is krsna-katha because it narrates about Krsna
- There are two kinds of sruti, or scripture. One is spoken by the Lord, and the other is spoken about the Lord and His devotees
