- A Brahmacarini asrama is certainly a great necessity because there are so many girl devotees who are attached to our Krishna Consciousness movement. Those who are married couple, there is nothing to be said - simply to live together as husband and wife

- In the Vedas it is stated that He (The Supreme Personality of Godhead) is the chief living entity and that He bestows all the desired necessities of other living entities
- In the Vedic civilization, these (Eating, sleeping, mating) necessities are prescribed in a regulated way so that he can satisfy his physical necessities, at the same time, become Krsna conscious and go back to home, back to Godhead

- Naturally one who is always engaged in devotional service of the Lord has very little time to sleep. Sleep is a necessity of the body, not the spirit soul, and therefore as one advances in devotional service one's propensity to sleep decreases

- Sometimes, having no money, the conditioned soul does not get sufficient accommodations. Sometimes he doesn't even have a place to sit, nor does he have the other necessities

- That one person, God, He's supplying everyone, whatever necessities. You have to simply work little. That is material world. In the material world you have to work. And in the spiritual world there is no question of work

- There is no necessity of tracing out the history of when the living entity desired this (to become the Lord). But the fact is that as soon as he desired it, he was put under the control of atma-maya by the direction of the Lord
- There is no question about the necessity of accepting a spiritual master. The only stipulation is that the spiritual master should be bona fide; i.e., he must be in the proper chain of disciplic succession, called the parampara system

- You cannot gratify your senses more than necessity. Everywhere that is the stringent laws of nature. Daivi hy esa gunamayi mama maya duratyaya. You cannot surpass it
- You don't require big factories, big workshop, and whole day and night with motorcar going this way and that way. No. There is no necessity for economic development. This is maya
- You haven't got to engage your major portion of time for this purpose. Because according to your body, the necessities are already there
- You must always remain dressed like a Vaisnava. That is necessity. So preksaniya: "is very beautiful to see." Otherwise how they became impressed?
- You should rise up to the occasion how to serve God. And this is the greatest necessity of the present-day civilization
