- Krsna tells Arjuna at the beginning of the Fourth Chapter: I (Krsna) instructed this imperishable science of yoga to the sun-god, Vivasvan, and Vivasvan instructed it to Manu, the father of mankind, and Manu in turn instructed it to Iksvaku - BG 4.1
- Krsna's activities - beginning with the killing of the Putana demon - are displayed in innumerable universes, and there is no limit to them. Indeed, at every moment, at every second, His manifestations and various pastimes are seen in different universes
- Krsna's age is considered in three periods: from His appearance day to the end of His sixth year is called kaumara; from the beginning of the sixth year up to the tenth year is called pauganda; and from the tenth to the sixteenth year is called kaisora

- Someone may think, "For a whole week I may commit sinful activities, and for one day I will go to the temple or church and admit my sinful activities so that I can become washed off and again begin my sinning"

- The Lord assumed one fish incarnation to save the Vedas at the beginning of the Svayambhuva-manvantara, and at the end of the Caksusa-manvantara the Lord again assumed the form of a fish just to favor the great king named Satyavrata

- Those who are dull-minded cannot understand the Supreme Personality of Godhead, but when punished severely by the modes of material nature, they begin to understand Him
