- Although there are imperfections in man-made laws, there cannot be defects in the laws of God. According to the laws of God, killing an animal is as punishable as killing a man
- Although there are ten kinds of evidence - direct perception, the Vedic version, historical reference, hypothesis & so on - & although they are all generally accepted as evidence, the person presenting a hypothesis is certain to be imperfect in four ways

- The authority of the Vedas is such that even if one does not understand something by his limited perception, he should accept the Vedic injunction and not create interpretations to suit his imperfect understanding
- The cheating process is there in me, in you, everywhere, because we are imperfect. Therefore it is not possible to get perfect knowledge from an imperfect man
- The child is imperfect, but when he gets the knowledge from the perfect source, mother, then it is perfect. Similarly, we, we never say that we are perfect. If you are perfect, then why you are learning? We are trying to become perfect

- The monists and impersonalists try with great difficulty to explain this sutra in diverse ways in order to support their imperfect theory of oneness and impersonality. However, the fact remains that ananda, pleasure, cannot be enjoyed alone
- The monists and impersonalists who think only in terms of the oneness of the living entities with the Supreme Lord cannot give satisfactory answers to such questions. Such an imperfect reply can hardly satisfy the heart of a living entity
- The more you think as imperfect, the more you make actual progress in Krishna Consciousness. This hankering after perfection is seen in even the most perfect devotees. So we should never think of being perfect at any stage

- The person presenting a hypothesis, reading the Vedic version, perceiving or interpreting by his experience is certain to be imperfect in four ways
- The process of induction, by which, reasoning from particular facts or individual cases, one can arrive at a general conclusion, is never a perfect process. Because we are limited and our experience is limited, it will always remain imperfect
- The result is that the people in general suffer more by breaking the laws of God than by obeying the imperfect laws made by man

- The surrendering process already exists, but it is never perfect because the person or institution unto whom we surrender is imperfect, and our surrender, having so many ulterior motives, is also imperfect
- The upper planetary system and its opulences is to be understood from authoritative scriptures like the Vedic literatures. Telescopes and the other imperfect instruments of scientists are inadequate for evaluating the upper planetary system

W
- We admit that we are in the conditional stage and our source of knowledge is not the senses because they are imperfect
- We are imperfect in every respect, so therefore we have to receive knowledge from the perfect. That is the process, real process
- We are imperfect. How we can speculate on Krsna? That is not . . . because there are certain persons, jnanis, they want to know. Just like theosophists, they want to know the Absolute Truth by speculation. But that is not possible
- We are imperfect. Whatever I may be, you may be, but if I am subjected to birth, death, old age and disease, then I am imperfect. Therefore the perfectional..., perfection of life is when you haven't got to take birth or die or become diseased and old
- We are subjected to four principles of imperfectness. But an incarnation of God or a real representative of God, they are above these, I mean, four principles of imperfectness
- We can see stone, metal, wood, and other elements, and because Krsna is everything, to be visible to our imperfect eyes He appears in a form of these elements. It is not that Krsna is stone or that we are worshiping stone

- We have accumulating knowledge from university education, but everything remains imperfect. The scientists, they give some theory, but that is imperfect
- We have got everything perfectly in the Vedic literature. The Krsna consciousness movement is trying to educate people on this principle. We are not manufacturing anything. That is not our business. Because we know we are imperfect
- We have got so many wants, because we are imperfect. Especially in this material condition, we have got so many demands, wants, because we are living in an atmosphere which is imperfect. But Krsna is perfect, purnam
