- By understanding the Lord's simultaneous oneness with and difference from His creation, one can immediately attain freedom from the threefold miseries - miseries inflicted by the body and mind, by other living entities and by acts of nature
- By understanding the material cause, one can guess that the purusa, the enjoyer, being without activity, is aloof from all kinds of enjoyment or superintendence
- By understanding the original cause of different varieties, one can understand everything
- By understanding the pastimes of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, one can understand the truth about Krsna. By understanding Krsna, one can understand the limit of all knowledge described in various revealed scriptures
- By understanding the science of devotional service in Sankhya philosophy, one can become free from the modes of material nature. The eternal self, after becoming freed from the spell of material nature, becomes eligible to enter into the kingdom of God
- By understanding Vedic literature, and one can understand his relationship with the Supreme Personality of Godhead by performing the different processes. Thus one can approach Him and at the end attain the supreme goal. BG 1972 purports
- By understanding Vedic literature, one can approach Him and at the end attain the supreme goal, who is no other than the Supreme Personality of Godhead. BG 1972 purports
- By virtue of such attraction (of Krsna), one can give up fruitive activities and all endeavors for liberation and can even abandon the intense desire to achieve success in yoga mystic power
- By Visnu worship one can derive benefit in this life as well as in life after death
- By worshiping Lord Visnu one can get whatever he desires, but a pure devotee never asks Lord Visnu for any material profit. Instead he serves Lord Visnu without material desires and is therefore ultimately transferred to the spiritual kingdom
- By worshiping or satisfying Acyuta, the SP of G, Krsna, one can satisfy everyone, just as one can water the branches, leaves and flowers of a tree simply by watering its root or as one satisfies all the senses of the body by giving food to the stomach
- By worshiping Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu alone, one can relish the loving affairs of Radha and Krsna together. One should therefore try to understand Radha-Krsna not directly but through Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu and through His devotees
- By worshiping the arca-vigraha, one can at once approach the Lord, who accepts the service of a devotee by His omnipotent energy
- By worshiping the Deity, eating prasadam and chanting the Hare Krsna maha-mantra, one can always remain on the spiritual platform - BG 14.26
- By worshiping the Supreme Personality of Godhead one can satisfy all the demigods, but by worshiping all the demigods one does not completely worship God. Worship of the demigods is irregular, and it is disrespectful to the scriptural injunctions
C
- Caitanya explained the transcendental constitution of Krsna, His expansions, His bodily luster and everything connected with Him. In short, Lord Caitanya explained Krsna as He is, as well as the process by which one can approach Him
- Caitanya further taught Sanatana Gosvami how one can live in the material world while being in a complete relationship with Krsna, and He also taught him that there is no necessity for dry renunciation
- Caitanya Mahaprabhu demonstrated practically how one can achieve love of Krsna by adopting Srimati Radharani’s mood in separation from Krsna
- Caitanya Mahaprabhu has recommended that everyone chant the Hare Krsna mantra just to cleanse the dust from the heart. If the dust of the heart is cleansed away, then one can actually understand the importance of the holy name
- Caitanya Mahaprabhu proclaimed the potencies and opulences of Krsna to be unlimited. Whatever He told Sanatana Gosvami was only partial, but by such a partial presentation one can try to imagine the whole
- Caitanya Mahaprabhu said in Siksastaka (3): one should be more tolerant than a tree, devoid of all sense of false prestige and ready to offer all respect to others. In such a state of mind one can chant the holy name of the Lord constantly - CC Adi 17.31
- Caitanya Mahaprabhu said there is millions of Names of God, and one can chant any one of them he prefers. We chant Hare Krishna because Lord Caitanya also chanted Hare Krishna
- Caitanya Mahaprabhu showed by practical example how one can cultivate the mood of Radharani and the other gopis in separation from Krsna. Devotees absorbed in this mood do not like to see Krsna anywhere else but Vrndavana
- Caitanya Mahaprabhu, in His teachings to Rupa Gosvami, said: brahmanda bhramite kona bhagyavan jiva, guru-krsna-prasade paya bhakti-lata-bija (CC Madhya 19.151). One can achieve the seed of bhakti-lata, devotional service, by the mercy of guru and Krsna
- Caitanya said: I firmly believe that simply chanting the holy name of the Lord can remove all misconceptions of the material world. I believe that simply by chanting the holy name of the Lord one can attain the shelter of the lotus feet of the Lord
- Caitanya spoke of the glorification of the transcendental name of the Lord and the different offenses which one can commit while worshiping
- Caitanya-caritamrta says, "By the mercy of the spiritual master who is a pure devotee and by the mercy of Krsna one can achieve the platform of devotional service. There is no other way"
- Chanting is the medicine, and prasada is the diet. With these processes one can begin his service, and as the service increases, the Lord reveals more and more to the devotee
- Compliance to His (Krsna's) request to give everything to Him is called tyaga, renunciation, and is one of the means by which one can attain elevation to Krsna consciousness
- Considering all this, one can immediately appreciate the benefit of Lord Krsna's appearance on the earth and understand that His giving relief to the people of the world by His appearance was not at all extraordinary
- Considering the Supreme Personality of Godhead to be his own son, Maharaja Nabhi was certainly in illusion, but this was transcendental illusion. This illusion is required; otherwise how can one accept the supreme father as his own son
- Considering this logic (One can bring a snake under control with mantras, herbs and drugs, but an envious and crooked person cannot be brought under control by any means), the SP of Godhead thought it unwise to distribute nectar to the demons
- Considering this, one can see that spiritual emancipation for the common man in this age is very difficult. The reason the sages presented this matter to Sri Suta Gosvami is explained in the following verses
- Cultivating Krsna consciousness in Vrndavana is the best means of being liberated from material bondage, for in Vrndavana one can automatically meditate upon Krsna
D
- Dasyam. There is the following statement in regard to assisting the Lord as a servant. After many, many thousands of births, when one comes to understand that he is an eternal servant of Krsna, one can deliver others from this universe
- Deluded persons have no information that one can render better service to the family by becoming a devotee of the Lord
- Desire for overlording and sense gratification are the greatest enemies of the conditioned soul; but by the strength of Krsna consciousness, one can control the material senses, the mind and the intelligence. BG 1972 purports
- Desires are very difficult to fulfill; but if one desires something which is unreasonable and can never be fulfilled, the desire can be subdued and satisfied, and that is an art. By this art one can also subdue sex impulses when they are aroused
- Desires for fruitive activities are strongly rooted, but the trees of desire can be uprooted completely by devotional service because devotional service employs superior desire. One can give up inferior desires when engaged in superior desires
- Devotees are dear to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and the Supreme Personality of Godhead is only dear to devotees. On this platform only can one make progress in Krsna consciousness
- Devotees who are still further advanced, in full knowledge, can understand the transcendental pastimes of the Lord. Only on that platform can one fully enjoy transcendental bliss
- Devotional service consists of sravanam kirtanam visnoh, so one can simply hear the chanting of the glories of the Lord or can attend philosophical lectures on transcendental knowledge given by authorized acaryas. BG 1972 purports
- Devotional service is the only path by which one can achieve the Supreme Person. This is the only perfection accepted by all Vedic literature
- Devotional service, however, is the real method, for by devotional service one can satisfy the Supreme Personality of Godhead with just a few words. Without devotional service, volumes of books cannot satisfy the Lord
- Dharma means the prescribed rules by which one can elevate himself to the transcendental life. That is dharma, religion
- Dharma refers to the religious principles by which one can understand the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- Diksa is the process by which one can awaken his transcendental knowledge and vanquish all reactions caused by sinful activity. A person expert in the study of the revealed scriptures knows this process as diksa
- Diti might argue that they would enjoy sex life in a private place, but Kasyapa reminded her that Lord Siva has three eyes, called the sun, moon and fire, and one cannot escape his vigilance any more than one can escape Visnu
- Due to misunderstanding Srimad-Bhagavatam, people are misled regarding the science of Krsna. However, by reading Srila Vrndavana dasa Thakura's book (Caitanya-bhagavata) one can very easily understand this science
- Duhkha-gramad means volumes of miserable condition of life. One can avoid volumes of miserable condition of life simply by chanting
- Duration of life with a proportionate quantity of bliss and knowledge may be increased from one planet to another. One can increase the duration of life to thousands & hundreds of thousands of years in different planets, but nowhere is there eternal life
E
- Either the Supreme Lord or His representative can become guru. The Lord says, mam eva ye prapadyante mayam etam taranti te: (BG 7.14) One can get relief from the clutches of maya as soon as he surrenders unto Me
- Evam prasanna-manaso bhagavad-bhakti-yogatah. When one's heart is cleared of all nonsense, then one can understand what God is. BG 1972 purports
- Even among this small (followers of Vedas), exclusive number, most are addicted to the processes described in the Vedas' karma-kanda section, by which one can elevate oneself to the perfectional stage of economic development
- Even at the present moment one can hear many discussions on Srimad-Bhagavatam taking place on the banks of the Ganges. Many scholars and sannyasis gather there (in Varanasi) to hear Srimad-Bhagavatam and perform sankirtana
- Even by associating with such a neophyte devotee (who is materialistic), one can become a devotee also
- Even by conversing with such great souls, one can without delay cleanse oneself of all disqualifications resulting from lower births
- Even by studying the rivers, trees, air and passing ages, one can conceive of the Personality of Godhead without being misled by the formless conception of the Lord
- Even if a person is born in a family of candalas - the lowest birth one can get in human society - he is glorious if he chants the holy names of the Lord
- Even if one can travel all over the universe and show wonderful feats like Kardama Muni, he cannot be compared to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, whose power and inconceivable energy can never be attained by any conditioned or liberated soul
- Even if one cannot arrange to worship the forms of the Lord with all recommended paraphernalia, one can simply think about the form of the Lord and mentally offer everything recommended in the sastras
- Even if one does not have money, he can preach the Hare Krsna mantra to everyone. One can go everywhere, to every home, and request everyone to chant the Hare Krsna mantra. Thus the entire world situation will become very happy and peaceful
- Even if one has material desires, one can undoubtedly achieve what he wants by rendering service to the Lord
- Even if one is born in a low family, like a family of candalas (dog-eaters), one can become filled with transcendental symptoms through realization of the supreme stage of love of Godhead. These transcendental symptoms are described in Srimad-Bhagavatam
- Even if one is not born in a brahmana family but has brahminical qualifications, he must be considered a brahmana. By strictly following this system, one can be happy without extra endeavor
- Even in his own apartment one can keep a picture of Krsna and offer a lamp, a candle, and one, I mean to say, incense. He will feel tremendously spiritually advanced
- Even one has no previous record of service, still, if he meets a pure devotee, he becomes enthusiastic. Therefore preaching required. Otherwise, one can say that whatever he has done last life, he will begin from that
- Even the very question (asked by Maharaja Pariksit to Sukadeva Gosvami) is so nice that it is the best subject matter for hearing. Simply by such questioning and hearing, one can achieve the highest perfectional stage of life
- Even though the people of the world have forgotten God and may say that God is dead, this is not a fact. One can understand God when one takes to the Krsna consciousness movement, and thus one can be happy
- Every devotee should take his bath early in the morning and decorate his body with tilaka. In Kali-yuga one can hardly acquire gold or jeweled ornaments, but the twelve tilaka marks on the body are sufficient as auspicious decorations to purify the body
- Every living being, out of many, many billions and trillions of living beings, has a particular relationship with the Lord eternally. That is called svarupa. By the process of devotional service, one can revive that svarupa. BG 1972 Introduction
- Every living entity is son of God, therefore one can love, one can actually have the idea of universal brotherhood, only in Krsna consciousness, not otherwise. Otherwise, they are simply false propaganda
- Everyone is engaged only in Krsna's service. They are, from the beginning of the day, four o'clock, they are rise from the bed; they offer mangala-aratrika. You are seeing practically. We are demonstrating how one can become Krsna conscious perfectly
- Everyone is trying to become perfect, but the perfection means when one can see Krsna within and without. That is perfection
- Everyone should hear about the Supreme Personality of Godhead constantly. By hearing one can always remain in equilibrium, and thus his progress in spiritual life will not be hampered
- Everyone-whether akama (a devotee), sarva-kama (a karmi) or moksa-kama (a jnani or yogi) - is encouraged to worship the SP of Godhead by the direct method of devotional service. In this way one can get both material and spiritual profit simultaneously
- Everything is examined at the time of death. Therefore, although the body is temporary, not eternal, one can take from it the best service and make one's life perfect
- Everything should be done very scientifically and consciously. One should be a realized soul. In this way, one can give up the entanglement of material bondage
- Experimental knowledge can be achieved when one has understood the false knowledge. By experimental or proved knowledge, one can understand that he is not the body but spirit soul
F
- Father and mother is possible in any form of body, but only in this human form of body one can get in touch with Krishna and a bona fide Spiritual Master. That is the highest gain of our travelling in different species of life in different planets
- Finally, in earth there are all five qualities - sound, touch, form, taste and also smell. Now, one can see that the quality of the sky is in all - namely in air, fire, water and earth
- Fire represents the mode of goodness. One can understand the constitution of a container for wood, petrol or other inflammable substances by the quantity of the fire. Similarly, water represents rajo-guna, the mode of passion
- Following in the footsteps of Lord Sri Krsna, one can live with his family members or within the society or nation, not for the purpose of indulging in sense gratification but to realize Krsna by advancing in attachment for Him
- Following in the footsteps of such liberated souls (like Brahma), who are able to vibrate real transcendental sound, can lead one to the highest stage of devotion, and thus one can become a maha-bhagavata
- Foolish people are surprised that one can lie down within water and sleep very happily. But a little intelligence can mitigate this foolish astonishment. There are many living entities within the bed of the ocean
- Foolish people who because of a poor fund of knowledge think that one can equal Krsna or become Krsna are condemned in every way. No one can equal or surpass Krsna, who is therefore described as asamordhva
- Foolish persons are misled into believing that simply by some caricature of meditation and sitting postures one can become God within six months
- Foolish persons do not know how risky life is here if one does not follow the instructions of Krsna. The Krsna consciousness movement has been started so that by practicing Krsna consciousness one can avoid the risky life of this material existence
- For a beautiful wife, one can worship Uma, the wife of Lord Siva, and for advanced education one may worship Sarasvati
- For a common man, it is very difficult to remember things as they are at the time of death, but by the grace of the Lord and His bona fide devotees, the spiritual masters, one can get this opportunity without difficulty
- For a perfect yogi, there are eight kinds of superachievements: one can become lighter than air, one can become smaller than the atom, one can become bigger than a mountain, one can achieve whatever he desires, one can control like the Lord, and so on
- For example, one can observe the personal artistic work in a painting of a flower, and one can understand that the color adjustment, the shape and so on have demanded the minute attention of an artist
- For one who simply makes an academic study of Bhagavad-gita, the science of Krsna remains a mystery. Bhagavad-gita is not a book that one can just purchase from the bookstore and understand by scholarship alone
- Forgetfulness of one's relationship with the Supreme Personality of Godhead is a product of ignorance. By yoga practice one can eradicate this ignorance of thinking oneself independent of the Supreme Lord
- Formerly the practice was, daytime there is fight, but in the after evening they are all friends. After evening they are friends. One can go this camp, that camp, and talk together, sit together, just like friends. There is no enemy
- Friends sit together in a room and enjoy one another's company. What enjoyment can one have by himself
- From all points of view, Bharata-varsa is the special land where one can very easily understand the process of devotional service and adopt it to make his life successful
- From any stage of life, or from the time of understanding its urgency, one can begin regulating the senses in KC, devotional service of the Lord, and turn the lust into love of Godhead - the highest perfectional stage of human life. BG 1972 purports
- From childhood, people should be trained in Vedic culture, especially in devotional service. In this way, one can perfect one's life
- From every position, as confirmed in Bhagavad-gita, sva-karmana tam abhyarcya: (BG 18.46) one can serve the Supreme Lord by performing one's prescribed duty. It is not that only the brahmanas can serve the Supreme Lord and not the sudras
- From His kingdom the Personality of Godhead sends His bona fide servants to propagate this message by which one can return to Godhead, and sometimes the Lord comes Himself to do this work
- From matter, automatically creation takes place, that is not very perfect philosophy, neither one can support this view in the long run
- From Pururava's rubbing of the aranis came a fire. By such a fire one can achieve all success in material enjoyment and be purified in seminal birth, initiation and in the performance of sacrifice, which are invoked with the combined letters a-u-m
- From Srimad-Bhagavatam one can come to know the substance as well as the categories. The substance is the Absolute Truth, the Supreme Lord, and all emanations are relative forms of energy
- From the foregoing one can understand that this massive cosmic creation, with its innumerable planetary systems and heavenly bodies, has come about only through the interference of some superior and powerful consciousness
- From the incident of Haridasa's passing away & the great care Caitanya took in commemorating it, one can understand just how affectionate He is toward His devotees. Although He is the topmost of all sannyasis, He fully satisfied the desire of Haridasa
- From the results achieved by the karmis and devotees, one can understand the presence of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who acts differently for the karmis and jnanis than for the devotees
- From the surabhi cows one can take as much milk as one needs, and one may milk these cows as many times as he desires. In other words, the surabhi cow can yield milk unlimitedly
- From the very beginning of life the brahmacarya system is introduced so that from one's very childhood - from the age of five years - one can practice modifying one's human activities so as to engage perfectly in devotional service
G
- Garga Muni was proficient in this knowledge (of astrological science). By this knowledge one can understand what his previous activities were that are causing him to enjoy or suffer in this life
- Generally, if one leads an austere and pious life of celibacy, equanimity, charity, etc., people will say that he is a very pious man, but simply by becoming Krsna conscious, one can kill all the resultant actions of his past sinful life
- God is easily understandable for the pure devotee because God declares in the Bhagavad-gita that after surpassing the stage of knowledge, when one is able to be engaged in the devotional service, then only can one know the true nature of the Lord
- Gopinatha Acarya continued, "One can understand the Supreme Personality of Godhead only by His mercy, not by guesswork or hypothesis"
- Gopinatha Acarya said (to Sarvabhauma Bhattacarya) that the summum bonum, the Absolute Truth, and His different potencies are identical. Therefore one can understand the substance of the Absolute Truth by the manifestation of His different potencies
- Gradually one can rise to the platform of spontaneous loving service. A child is sent to school by force to receive an education, but when he gets a little taste of education at an advanced age, he automatically participates and becomes a learned scholar
- Gradually, one can change his position from ignorance to goodness, or from passion to goodness. The conclusion is that blind faith in a particular mode of nature cannot help a person become elevated to the perfectional stage. BG 1972 purports
- Gross materialists say, there are different ways to attain the favor of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. They claim that one can conceive of the Supreme Personality of Godhead as goddess Durga, goddess Kali, Lord Siva
H
- Haridasa Thakura said, "Why are you doubtful? The revealed scriptures say that one can attain liberation simply by a glimpse of offenseless chanting of the holy name"
- He (a living man) is always present in the past, present and future, like electricity. One can remember incidents from his past and can conjecture about his future also on the basis of past experience
- He (Caitanya Mahaprabhu) said that even by a moments association with a pure devotee, one can achieve all perfection. We are not ashamed to admit that this fact was experienced in our practical life
- He (Kapiladeva) will explain to His mother what tattva is, how one can approach the tattva jnana, and how one can actually enjoy tattva jnana. This is not simply dry speculation
- He (Lord Krsna) possesses supermost inconceivable energies of all different varieties. If a man's brain can produce a space satellite, one can very easily imagine how brains higher than man can produce similarly wonderful things which are far superior
- He (Narada Muni) also explained how by execution of pure transcendental service one can get rid of the fruitive action of accumulated work and how he transformed his material body into a spiritual one
- He (one) can easily surpass all the practices for controlling the mind by engaging in the service of the Supreme Lord under the direction of the bona fide spiritual master. This easy process is being recommended by Srila Rupa Gosvami
- He (the creator of this body) is not conversant in the art of ecstasy but is simply a prosaic creator. He does not know how to arrange things properly so one can see only Krsna
- He (the father) should be resolved to train his children in such a way that they will no longer have to be subjected to the painful cycle of birth and death. But before one can do this, he has to make himself expert
- He (who is transcendentally situated) sees all living entities as spiritual beings. After attaining this elevated stage, one can attain pure devotional service
- He could renounce everything because he was so attracted to the beauty, opulence, reputation, knowledge, strength and renunciation of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Krsna. Krsna is so attractive that one can give up all desirable things for His sake
- He had handsome bodily features, and he was learned and youthful, but he could not tolerate the statement that simply by glimpsing the awakening of the Lord's holy name one can attain liberation
- Hearing from the perfect source of the Supreme Being, one can get answers to solve the miseries of life, which begins with self-realization
- Her (Devahuti's) son was the Supreme Personality of Godhead. One can give up material attachment, therefore, only when one has attachment for the Supreme Person. This is explained in Bhagavad-gita

- Here (in SB 10.8.21) one can simply think of the crawling of Krsna and Balarama in the courtyard of Nanda Maharaja and always merge in transcendental happiness
- Here (in SB 3.28.2) it is recommended that one should seek out a bona fide spiritual master and surrender unto him (arcanam), for by inquiring from and worshiping him one can learn spiritual activities
- Here (in SB 3.33.22) is a practical example of how one can elevate oneself in spiritual advancement by Krsna consciousness. Kapiladeva is Krsna, and He appeared as the son of Devahuti
- Here (in) again the word tattvatah, "in truth," is used. One can understand the science of Krsna in truth by becoming a devotee. He who is not a devotee, who does not strive for Krsna consciousness, cannot understand
- Here is the university, where is the school, college, to teach this science how one can become uncontaminated? There is no such institution except this Krsna consciousness movement
- Here is the verse (BG 11.55) which clearly explains the process by which one can attain success in his spiritual activity: devotional service. BG 1972 purports

- His (God's) transcendental form is one hundred percent spiritual, and one can see Him only by spiritualized vision after proper discharge of tapasya or penance, in pure bhakti-yoga
- His (Krsna's) words of the Bhagavad-gita or those of Srimad-Bhagavatam are identical with the Lord. They are sound incarnations of the Lord, & one can fully utilize them to be entitled to attain the stage of Sri Bhismadeva, who was one of the eight Vasus
- His (Rupa Gosvami's) famous book Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu is the science of devotional service, and by reading this book one can understand the meaning of devotional service
- Household life is also meant for advancement in spiritual understanding, by which one can ultimately gain liberation from the material clutches
- How can one expect to be reformed if he does not agree or like to be reformed. To be reformed, he must agree to the reforming process
- How can one think of the Lord as being without form? How can one become formless and at the same time have all intelligence and consciousness, direct and indirect? So there are many things for a pure devotee to learn
- How can one understand this knowledge (of God)? It must be imparted by God Himself or a bona fide representative of God. Therefore Sri Krsna says that whenever there is a discrepancy on understanding the science of God, He incarnates Himself
- How can you overpower the material energy? It is not possible. That is explained in Bhagavad-gita. It is not possible to overcome the stringent laws of material nature. Krsna says, - It is My energy; I am the controller. But one can surrender unto Me
- How it is possible to make a candala a Vaisnava? - No, that is possible. Prabhavisnave namah. Visnu is so powerful, omnipotent. He can do that. So only by Visnu mantra, by becoming a Vaisnava, one can transcend all this restriction, sociology
- How much one has advanced in Krsna consciousness one can test himself, that "How much I have become detestful, all this material way of life?" Everyone can test himself. If he has got still some inclination, then he is not fully Krsna conscious
- How now one can see? He has to see through the parampara, succession. You have not seen your great-grandfather. How do you know that he was? How do you know? Great-grandfather or his father, you have not seen. How do you believe?
- How one can attain the highest devotional perfection of association with the Supreme Personality of Godhead has been thoroughly explained in this chapter. BG 1972 purports
- How one can attain to the supreme transcendental knowledge simply by the performance of transcendental service to the Personality of Godhead is explained in the twenty-fourth verse of the fourth chapter of Bhagavad-gita
- How one can become free from reactions and reactions? Simply by acting for Krsna. Even externally it appears that you are doing some bad work, still, it will have no reaction. It does not mean that we shall entail our activities with some impious motive
- How one can execute God-centered activities is elaborately explained in the Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu, by Srila Rupa Gosvami
- How one can get out of the bondage of material existence, vimocitam. But people do not know that "This is my business, how to get out of this entanglement." They do not know even what is that entanglement. Such foolish civilization is going on
- How one can get out of the miserable condition of material life is stated in Sankhya philosophy, and the Lord Himself is explaining this sublime system
- How one can see? Suppose I am seeing this material sky. I cannot see what are there, not even the stars at the present moment, although we know there are millions and trillions of stars. So this is my power of seeing

- How wonderful it is that simply by residing in Mathura even for one day, one can achieve a transcendental loving attitude toward the Supreme Personality of Godhead! This land of Mathura must be more glorious than Vaikuntha-dhama, the kingdom of God
- Human life is regulated life, not animal life. In regulated life only can one understand transcendental knowledge
- Hundreds of ISKCON centers may give people a chance to hear and chant, to accept the spiritual master and to disassociate themselves from persons who are materially interested, in this way one can make solid advancement in going back home back to Godhead
I
- I am within this room, sitting so comfortably, and the tree is standing there. I can get that life also, karmana, by my work. So this technology is unknown. And you are very much proud of advancement of knowledge
- I have thus explained the Lord's meeting with Vallabha Bhatta. By hearing of this incident, one can achieve the treasure of love for Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu
- I have thus repeated the principal pastimes and their meaning, for by such repetition one can remember the descriptions in the book
- I have thus summarized these pastimes in the Twenty-fifth Chapter. Hearing this summary, one can understand the whole purport of this scripture
- I offer my obeisances unto Him, the infallible, because simply by either remembering Him or vibrating His holy name one can attain the perfection of all penances, sacrifices or fruitive activities, and this process can be universally followed
- I shall now narrate the story of how a hunter became a great devotee by the association of such an exalted personality as Narada Muni. From this story, one can understand the greatness of association with pure devotees
- I shall now review the chapters of the Madhya-lila chronologically so that one can relish the transcendental features of these topics
- If a man engages in material sex enjoyment, he cannot enjoy it for long. But when the sex enjoyment is given up, then one can enter spiritual life, which is unending
- If a man's brain can produce a space satellite one can easily imagine how brains higher than man can produce similarly wonderful things which are far superior. The reasonable person will easily accept this argument but stubborn atheists would never agree
- If a sannyasi comes to a house to beg, he is very well received: "Swamiji, what can I do for you?" The devotee beggar won't ask for anything, but whatever one can give, even one capati, makes one spiritually rich
- If after studying one can remember a subject matter, he is gifted with a good memory, or smrti
- If anyone has any desire to go to the moon, the sun, or any other planet, one can attain the desired destination by following specific Vedic principles recommended for that purpose. BG 1972 purports
- If anyone has reached the stage where he must become free from this material contamination, then he has to seek the association of devotees, wherein Krsna consciousness is exclusively cultured. One can thereby become freed from all material association
- If by chance, by the association of devotees, one can actually understand the Lord and His features, one immediately becomes a liberated person
