- Krishna consciousness is the process of eternal life. The process is simple and the results are sublime. You follow it and you will be happy in this life as well as in the next

- Material wealth and opulence attained through previous pious activities can be fully utilized for one's benefit in this life and the next if one is Krsna conscious. One should not try to possess more than he needs for the bare necessities
- Maya creates a car for you, a carrying conveyance, this body. So that conveyance is according to karma. So if you act piously in this life, then next life you get good body

- Nanda Maharaja innocently thought - Perhaps this boy Krsna formerly killed all these demons, & therefore in this life they are envious & are attacking Him. But He is a fire, & they are flies, & in a fight between these two, the fire is always victorious
- No one has ever achieved the results he desired from material activities. On the contrary, everyone has been frustrated again and again. One must not waste his time in such material activities for sensual pleasure, either in this life or in the next
- Not knowing the value of life, karmis create situations whereby they suffer in this life and the next
- Now in this life let me restrict the four principles of animalistic life - eating, sleeping, defending & mating - and let me devote my time to developing Krsna consciousness. In this way my life will be successful - every intelligent man should say this

- One cannot enter into the higher planetary systems without being qualified by good works in this life

- Regardless of what we have done in our past lives, if we engage ourselves in unalloyed devotional service to the Lord in this life, we will always be situated in the brahma-bhuta - liberated state

- Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu has prescribed: Let people chant the Hare Krsna mantra constantly. Then their demoniac tendencies will be killed, and they will become first-class devotees, happy in this life and in the next
- Srila Sridhara Svami says that mahima means liberation in this life
- Such a sinful man (a person who in this life bears false witness or lies while transacting business or giving charity) is taken to the top of a mountain eight hundred miles high and thrown headfirst into the hell known as Avicimat
- Such activities (enjoying the wealth and riches of pious activities) will not help the conditioned soul in any way, neither in this life nor the next

- Take to this Krsna consciousness movement and be happy in this life and next life. If you can finish your loving affairs to Krsna in this life, then you have done cent percent
- That (taking to full Krsna consciousness) is described in the previous verse (SB 4.29.56) as paramahamsa-saranam, taking shelter of the paramahamsa, the liberated soul, and becoming successful in this life
- The actions and reactions of the three modes of material nature are visible in this life
- The best process is to take the advice and instructions of Sri Krsna or His bona fide representative. In this way one can be happy in this life and the next

- The essence of Vedic knowledge is Bhagavad-gita because the Supreme Personality of Godhead is speaking personally. Take advantage of it. Apply it practically in life and be happy, not only in this life, but the next life
- The great sage Narada continued: The living entity acts in a gross body in this life. This body is forced to act by the subtle body, composed of mind, intelligence and ego. After the gross body is lost, the subtle body is still there to enjoy or suffer
- The great sage Rsabhadeva instructed his sons in this way: In this life you have acquired these beautiful bodies. Now you should know that they are not meant for sense gratification like the bodies of hogs and dogs but for spiritual realization

- The human form of life is a great asset, for in this life one can fulfill the goal of existence. Unfortunately, however, because of a lack of education and culture, people are victimized by the false happiness of sex life

- The sastras advise, yajnaih sankirtana-prayair yajanti hi su-medhasah (SB 11.5.32). Every householder, who is actually intelligent should introduce the sankirtana movement home to home and live peacefully in this life and go back to Godhead in the next
- The soul, however, remains the same. It is said that by modern medical treatment a male can be transformed into a female, & a female into a male. The body, however, has no connection with the soul. The body can be changed, either in this life or the next
- The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: My dear Prahlada, a devotee like you never desires any kind of material opulences, either in this life or in the next. Nonetheless, I order you to enjoy the opulences of the demons in this material world
- The trees and seeds engage the devotees in meditation about the activities of the Lord, while the mundane wranglers waste time in dry speculation and mental concoction, which are fruitless in both this life and the next
- There are six kinds of atmaramas: one who is liberated even in this life (jivan-mukta), and one who is self-realized (prapta-svarupa)
- There are so many things, duties of the wife. There are so many things, duty of the husband. And if they properly execute their respective duties and engage themselves simply in KC, the life will be very happy, and not only in this life, next life also
- These centers are being opened just to give the opportunity to the people who are suffering not only in this life, life after life
- They (nondevotees) do not realize that they themselves, because of their practice of eating all kinds of nonsense in this life, will be destined to eat the most abominable things in their next life
- They (the brahmanas, ksatriyas, vaisyas and sudras follower of Vedic system) were happy (due to discharge the duties of Krsna consciousness) in this life and able to return home, back to Godhead
- They (those who are insane) are under the wrong impression that after death there is no life, and consequently they act very irresponsibly in this life and enjoy unrestricted sense gratification
- They believe that "If I act sinfully, then I'll have to suffer next life, & because I did not do properly, therefore I am suffering in this life." Still they believe. But the so-called educated people, they try to set aside this. They say, - Superstition
- They do not believe, avoid the major issue, and they are planning in this life they will live for fifty or sixty years, making big, big plans, saktah, being materially attached, saktah karmani, and discovering new, new methods of engagement
- This chance (to understand his constitutional position) is given to him by nature, but if he nonetheless acts like an animal, what is the benefit of his human life? In this life one must select the goal of life and act accordingly
- This is the only yoga system, bhakti-yoga system, that one can practice for quick result and self-realization and liberation even in this life. He hasn't got to wait for another life. It is so nice, Krsna consciousness
- This KC movement through music, philosophy, spiritual culture, and personal behavior culminating in ideal character of the devotees. All these heavenly contributions combined together will certainly bring about a major change in the life of Western people
- This kind of yoga practice, in which the mind is always fixed upon the Supreme Personality of Godhead in devotion, results in liberation in this very life

- Those intelligent beings who take to KC and chant Hare Krsna, Hare Rama in devotional service transfer themselves, even in this life, to the spiritual planet of Krsna and become eternally blissful there, not being subject to rebirths. BG 1972 purports
- Those who are coming to the touch of Krsna consciousness and initiated to execute, they should be very determined that "In this life we shall make a solution. No more. No more coming again." That should be our determination
- Those who are determined that "In this life we shall finish this material way of life, or material . . ." That is real struggle for existence
- Those who in this life are like envious serpents, always angry and giving pain to other living entities, fall after death into the hell known as Dandasuka. My dear King, in this hell there are serpents with five or seven hoods
- Those who in this life confine other living entities in dark wells, granaries or mountain caves are put after death into the hell known as Avata-nirodhana
- Through the association of devotees, one can engage in the service of the Lord by hearing and chanting (sravanam kirtanam). Thus one can revive his dormant KC and, sticking to the cultivation of KC, return home, back to Godhead, even in this life
- To be a playboy in this life is unfortunate because too much attraction to women will lead one to fall into the association of sudras, who can easily take advantage of mingling with women without restriction
- To become happy in this life and attain a permanent blissful life after leaving this material body, one must study this sacred literature and obtain transcendental knowledge
- To benefit all human society, not only in this life but in the next, the great seers and sages have prescribed various methods conducive to the prosperity of the people in general
- Today I am a human being, but tomorrow I may become a dog, and then whatever activities I have performed in this life will be a failure. This simple truth is now rarely understood, but one who is a dhira can understand this
- Two significant words used in this verse (SB 4.18.3) are asmin and amusmin. Asmin means "in this life," and amusmin means - in the next life

- Unfortunately in this age, even exalted professors and learned men believe that there is no next life and that everything is finished in this life. Since they are rascals and fools, what advice can they give?
- Unfortunately neither the government nor the people in general have any idea of this (the only way is surrendering to God); they are simply interested in sense gratification and in being happy in this life
- Unfortunately, although these (paper) industrialists are now happy in this life by dint of their industrial development, they do not know that they will incur the responsibility for killing these living entities who are in the form of trees
- Unfortunately, karmis are very attached to material sense gratification, and they cannot appreciate the miserable condition of material life, neither in this life nor in the next
- Unless one tries to solve his problems from the perspective of eternal varities, there cannot be any peace whatsoever, either in this life or in the life after death. That is the supreme teaching of Bhagavad-gita
- Utsaha, endeavor. "In this life I must fulfill my mission of Krsna consciousness." That is called utsaha. Dhairya. Don't be agitated because it is not giving result immediately. Just patiently go on working
- Utsahat means you must be very much enthusiastic that "In this life, in this human form of life, I must complete my spiritual consciousness, or God consciousness, so that in the next life I may not have this material body"

- Vaisnava will always think like that, how people will be happy. Sarve sukhino bhavantu. Vaisnava desire is not exploitation. Vaisnava desire is that - How others will be happy, how they will understand Krsna, how they will get happiness in this life
- Vasudeva's presentation of fear in two situations - in this life and the next - is called bheda

- We (the Krsna consciousness movement) arrange for their lodging and board so that they (everyone who is serious about progressing in Krsna consciousness) can peacefully cultivate Krsna consciousness and return home, back to Godhead, even in this life
- We are creating our next body in this life. So if we become sinful, or if we act only sinful activities, then we get next body a very lower class of body, even as the germ in the stool. And if we act nicely, piously, then we get better body
- We are giving the right path: "Be happy in this life and next life also." This is our mission. Para upakara: they are blindly following some ways of life
- We are making so many plans to live happily, but there cannot be any happiness in this material world, however we may try to make a permanent settlement in this life or that
- We become impure. Therefore we are suffering. That is the. So this impurity can be rectified in this life, this human form of life. Therefore human form of life is meant for purification. Therefore so many scriptures are there, so many teachers are there
- We can hardly imagine the sufferings of one who maintains a slaughterhouse. He endures suffering not only in this life, but in his next life also
- We cannot keep our position as unborn, but have to take birth and transmigrate from one body to another, with no guarantee of what kind of body we shall receive next. Even in this life, we are obliged to accept one body after another
- We have got the advantage of getting this knowledge in this life, and again, if we go back to the cats' and dogs' knowledge, then what is the benefit of getting this body?
- We have lived in bird life, in beast life, and so on, but now, in this life, we should be peaceful, calm, and quiet, and should simply inquire about the Absolute Truth (jivasya tattva-jijnasa, athato brahma jijnasa). That should be one's occupation
- We have to study Vedas through authoritative sources. We have to follow the rules and regulations. Then, in this life, we shall be able to understand what is God, what is Krsna
- We invite all important men to contact us and try to understand the basic principle of this movement: how to elevate the human society to the proper standard of life and become peaceful in this life as well as in the next life
- We should act in such a way in this life that after giving up this body, we will become liberated from the bondage of repeated birth and death. This is called jivan-mukti
- We should be determined in this way - Somehow or other in my last life, I did not finish my spiritual cultivation. Now Krsna has given me another opportunity, so let me finish it up in this life
- We should not take the risk of next birth. In this life, in this birth, we should make a permanent solution of all miseries. That is Krsna consciousness
- When one acts sinfully in this life, he gets a suitable body for the next life. When one again acts sinfully, he takes on another material body. In this way one is continuously under the influence of material nature
- When one takes poison knowingly, he commits suicide, and not taking advantage of the human form is something like that. If we do not understand Krsna in this life, we are knowingly taking poison
- Why do you think, why you are so much pessimistic of this life? Just work hard and enjoy life. That's all
- Why one becomes devotee, why the other does not become? That means in his former life he was a devotee. It could not be finished in one life, but in this life automatically he is trying to become devotee
- Why we see things not experienced in this life is explained herein (SB 4.29.69). That which we see is the future expression of a gross body or is already stocked in our mental stockpile

- Yas tv indragopam athavendram aho sva-karma (Bs. 5.54). From Lord Indra to indragopa, an insignificant insect, everyone is reaping the consequences of his karma. We are creating our own karma, our next body, in this life
- You have always served me very faithfully, so I pray that Krishna may bless you with a long life with which to open many temples and that in this very lifetime you may return back to home, back to Godhead
- You have to understand these things, and if you understand properly what is Krsna, this much qualification will make you fit for being liberated even in this life
