- Anyone who is in this material world is more or less crazy, a madman

- Everything in this material world is limited, and for this reason there is creation, sustenance and dissolution. However, in the world of unlimited energy, the spiritual world, there is neither creation nor destruction
- Everything is now disturbed. We cannot be completely blissful. Anything you take, any pleasurable thing you take, it cannot give you always pleasure. It is not possible. This is not possible in this material world

- For the conditioned soul there are two statuses of living. One status is in this present life, and the other is our preparation for the next life

- Gambling is also an art. Ksatriyas are allowed to exhibit talent in this art of gambling. By Krsna's grace, the Pandavas lost everything by gambling and were deprived of their kingdom, wife, family & home because they were not expert in the gambling art

- Heaven is nothing for us. We are living in Vaikuntha in this temple. Anyone can practically see how they came from hellish life; now they are living in Vaikuntha. So Krsna consciousness is so nice and so simple

- In this verse (BG 10.8) the word budha is used, which indicates a wise man or one who is learned. What is his symptom? He knows that Krsna is the fountainhead of everything, of all emanations
- In this verse (BG 14.21), Arjuna's questions are very appropriate. He wants to know the symptoms of a person who has already transcended the material modes. He first inquires of the symptoms of such a transcendental person. BG 1972 purports

- Krishna Consciousness movement is trying to save the people in general, religionists and philosophers, to save them from the downfall. Opening our center means to educate people in this great science
- Krsna confirms in Bhagavad-gita that one who begins Krsna consciousness cannot lose anything: "In this endeavor there is no loss or diminution, and a little advancement on this path can protect one from the most dangerous type of fear." - BG 2.40
- Krsna consciousness is so universal and perfect that it can appeal to everyone, irrespective of his position; therefore I fervently appeal to you, all present in this meeting, to extend your cooperation for successful execution of this great movement
- Krsna consciousness movement is trying to liberate these foolish persons who are entangled in this material world and changing one body after another, sometimes very happy and sometimes very distressed. This is going on
- Krsna is both in the spiritual world and the material world. Because we represent Krsna, we are in this brahmanda conditioned

- Laborer class of men, they are considered to be the legs of the Supreme Lord. So anyone in this society, or in this human society or material world, they must have some situation. There is some positive position of everyone in the body of the Supreme
- Let us cooperate in this (KC) movement very nicely; here in this spot, New Vrindaban, the woman's business will be to take care of the children, cooking cleansing, and churning butter. Those who have the knowledge of typing can help in typing also
- Lord Caitanya has taught a very simple method in this connection. He has taught the lesson for preaching the transcendental message through singing, dancing and refreshment

- Material world means darkness wherein you cannot understand what is God, what you are. That is material world. They are very busy in this material world, but they do not know where they are going

- Nalakuvara & Manigriva said: In this material world You (Krsna) make Yourself known only by Your different incarnations. Although You assume different types of bodies, these bodies are not part of the material creation
- Narada Muni says in this verse (SB 4.29.62) that at death one takes his plans with him (grhniyat), and to execute these plans he gets another body. This is called punar bhavah
- Narada's position is very exalted as devotee. All of the devotees of the, in this material world, more or less, they are all disciples of Narada. Vyasadeva is also a disciple of Narada

- No one is independent in obtaining sense enjoyment, and everyone in this material world is after sense enjoyment

- On the whole, the conclusion is that anyone who is in this material world, he is a sinful man. Anyone. Otherwise he would not have gotten this material body

- People cannot even follow systematically the material system so that you can live peacefully so long you are in this material world. The modern civilization is so condemned. They do not know even how to live peacefully
- People should take advantage of the chanting of the Hare Krsna mantra and thus gain relief from all the problems created in this age of Kali
- People were very, very happy, even in this material life, because everyone was confident that he was making progress to go back to home, back to Godhead. That is human civilization. But the aim was Visnu

- Real fame belongs to one who attains Krsna consciousness in this very life
- Real purpose of jada-yoga, as mentioned here in this verse, is prasanta-karanah, or subduing the senses. The whole process of yoga, under whatever heading it may be, is to control the unbridled material senses & thus prepare oneself for self-realization
- Regarding reading Mahabharata, why divert your attention in this way? Bhagavatam is also Mahabharata. There are so many books I have presented already, so whatever you have got, just become expert in that
- Regarding your question of an initiated person falling prey to the maya, the answer is that so long we are in this material world, there is always chance of being spoiled by Maya, so we must stick with vow to the Lotus Feet of Krishna

- Sahadeva said, "These four principles of progressive life can be executed by the mercy of Krsna only. He should therefore be offered the first worship in this great sacrifice, and no one should disagree"
- Sane people should execute Krsna consciousness very seriously, so that they can go back home, back to Godhead, without having to further suffer the miserable conditions predominant in this universe
- Security is a problem. Everyone in this material world, they have got four problems: how to eat, how to sleep, how to have sex, and how to become secure
- Several members have fallen sick in this season in Vrindaban; I am very much anxious for all of them
- Should it be thought that Sri Caitanya made statements that are contradictory (because Caitanya disapproved of the acceptance of the sannyasa order in this Kali-yuga but He Himself took sannyasa and His brother Visvarupa did so)? No, actually He did not
- Significant in this verse (SB 7.15.45) are the words jnanasim acyuta-balah. Jnanasim, the sword of knowledge, is given by Krsna, and when one serves the guru and Krsna in order to hold the sword of Krsna's instructions, Balarama gives one strength
- Simply by accepting this (BG 4.9) truth on faith, one can, without a doubt, attain liberation. The Vedic version, "tattvamasi," is actually applied in this case. BG 1972 purports
- Simply laboring, simply wasting your valuable time. That's all. Don't waste your time. You have got very precious life in this human form of existence. Don't waste your time. Just try to increase your love of Godhead. That is the perfection of your life

- Since such a method (of hatha-yoga) is not practical in this present age, the goldsmith method has to be discarded. The solution is to take the blacksmith's hammer of Krsna consciousness and finish off all sinful reactions immediately

- So far as Bhagavad-gita is concerned, there is no doubt about it that I am the only authority in your country in this matter
- So generally the karmis, they want happiness in this life, and if he is intelligent enough, if he believes in the next life, then he makes some provision for next life
- So long there is deliberation of sinful and pious activities, that is called karma. Karma has got two results, either suffering or enjoying. Of course, in this material world there is no enjoyment. But with the hope of enjoyment, we agree to suffer
- So many Christian missionaries are working in this country. Why not Krishna Conscious missionaries?
- So many living entities. So we are very small particle, and we have come here in this material world. Just like the Europeans especially, they go to other countries for colonizing to use the material resources for their sense gratification
- So the speaker and the audience were bona fide in this meeting where Bhagavatam was being recited for the second time. That should be the standard of recitation of Bhagavatam, so that the real purpose can be served without difficulty
- So-called yoga societies in this country are actually offering only nonsense or forms of sense gratification, but such material activities will not sufficiently attract one who is serious about real spiritual life
- Some distinguished fiction writer in Bengal concluded that the Krsna of Vrndavana, that of Mathura and that of Dvaraka were different personalities. Historically there is no truth in this conclusion
- Somebody is living in a poor slum and another man is living in a very palatial building. So simply by endeavoring that "I shall live in a palatial building, and I shall not live in this poor slumhole," it is not possible because the destiny is there
- Sometimes people ask why this Krsna consciousness movement simply advocates worship of Krsna to the exclusion of the demigods. The answer is given in this verse (SB 4.31.14). The example of pouring water on the root of a tree is very appropriate
- Sometimes when bhakti-yoga, Krsna consciousness, is preached to the common man, people argue, "Where is Krsna? Where is God? Can you show Him to us?" In this verse (SB 8.3.26) the answer is given
- Sometimes when our students of the Krsna consciousness movement chant and dance, even in India people are astonished to see how these foreigners have learned to chant and dance in this ecstatic fashion
- Sometimes, however, it so happens in this material world that great personalities, even great devotees, can also be controlled by the asuras
- Sometimes, in order to have a little insignificant sex enjoyment, one searches after debauched women. In this attempt, one is insulted and chastised by the women's kinsmen. This is like going to take honey from a beehive and being attacked by the bees
- Srila Narottama dasa Thakura has sung: The body of a human being is extremely valuable because in this body one can understand the instructions of Krsna and attain the ultimate destination of the living entity
- Srila Prabhupada had a great hope to preach the gospel of Sri Rupa and Raghunath in these parts of the world. At the same time there is a great prospect for preaching the cult of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu in this part of the world
- Srila Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura has commented that because the words "bow" and "arrow" are used in this verse (SB 7.15.42), one might argue that the Supreme Personality of Godhead and the living entity have become enemies
- Srila Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura remarks that in this verse (SB 10.6.12) the word rasa refers to the planetary systems below the earth, such as Rasatala, Atala, Vitala, Sutala and Talatala
- Srila Vyasadeva saw the all-perfect Personality of Godhead, and in this statement the all-perfect Personality of Godhead Sri Krsna is clearly confirmed
- Srimad-Bhagavatam and bhagavata-dharma are meant for persons who are completely free of envy (parama-nirmatsaranam). Therefore Prahlada Maharaja prays in this verse (SB 5.18.9), khalah prasidatam: "May all the envious persons be pacified"
- Srimati Radharani addresses one of Her friends in this manner: My dear friend, if I cannot hear of the glorious activities of Krsna, it is better for Me to become deaf

- Tamaso ma jyotir gama. The Vedic instruction is that, "Don't keep yourself in this darkness of material world. Come out to the spiritual world." Jyotir gama
- That (that Prthu does not desire to merge with God's existence) is made clear in this verse (SB 4.20.24): "My dear Lord, I do not want such a benediction." Maharaja Prthu wanted to have a million ears to hear the glories of the lotus feet of the Lord
- That is happening now in this Kali-yuga generally. Big, big court justice, magistrate, they are giving favorable judgment, being bribed. This is Kali-yuga
- The activities of Yogamaya are distinctly visible in this chapter (SB 10.4), in which Devaki and Vasudeva excuse Kamsa for his many devious, atrocious activities and Kamsa becomes repentant and falls at their feet
- The Advaita Acarya branch received the water supplied by the original gardener, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. In this way, the subbranches were nourished, and their fruits and flowers grew luxuriantly
- The American will be the best person to be educated in this line and to lead, to become the leaders. They're already leader, but they must be real leader now, so that the whole world may be happy. That I can give direction

- The best course is to seek shelter of Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and be saved from the struggle for existence in this material world, in which one repeatedly takes birth and dies. To reach this understanding is the ultimate goal of life
- The best thing is that you have enjoyed sense life in so many varieties of life, as cats, as dogs, as demigods, as tree, as plants, as insect. Now, in this human form of life, don't be captivated by sensuous life. Just try to understand Krsna
- The best thing is to train ourself in this Krsna consciousness, and then it will be possible in this life at the time of death to transfer ourself into the spiritual world and enter into the Krsnaloka and enjoy in the association of Krsna
- The body of a human being is extremely valuable because in this body one can understand the instructions of Krsna and attain the ultimate destination of the living entity
- The Buddha incarnation mentioned in this verse (SB 2.7.37) is not the same Buddha incarnation we have in the present history of mankind
- The Caitanya-caritamrta confirms that that which is accepted in this material world to be a benediction and that which is taken to be a curse are both on the same platform because they are material
- The conclusion is that the mind is the storehouse of our past desires, and we have this present body due to our past desires. Similarly, whatever we desire in this present body will be expressed in a future body
- The conditioned souls within the clutches of illusory energy are all anxious to attain peace in the material world. But they do not know the formula for peace, which is explained in this part of the Bhagavad-gita. BG 1972 purports
- The description of Brahman mentioned in this verse (BG 13.13) is in relation to the individual soul, & when the word Brahman is applied to the living entity, it is to be understood that he is vijnanam brahma as opposed to ananta-brahma. BG 1972 purports
- The devotee in this material world who executes loving service in pursuance of the activities of those eternal associates (like Nanda and Yasoda) with Krsna also attains the same post when he is perfected
- The devotee, thus protected all around, is sure to reach the ultimate destination of perfection. The entire process is hinted at in this mantra, and Srimad-Bhagavatam (1.2.17-20) explains it further
- The difference between animality and humanity lies in this process only. A human being can hear properly, whereas an animal cannot
- The different kinds of living entities coming from various sources are very clearly described in this verse - SB 5.18.32
- The distilled water is taken on the sky, and as rain it drops on the ground, and it is stored on the mountain-hill. Gradually, the whole year, the water is coming down in this shape of river, and supply is there

- The impersonalist adduces no activity in the Supreme, but in this discussion between Brahma and the Supreme Personality of Godhead the Lord is said to have activities also, as He has His form and quality

- The kingdom of Rama was immensely popular and beneficial, and the spreading of this Hare Krsna movement can immediately introduce a similar situation, even in this Kali-yuga
- The knowledge which the pigeons, the cats and dogs have got, we are lacking in that knowledge, that the whole thing belongs to the Supreme Lord and we can accept them, whatever we need, not more than that
- The living entities in this conditioned world are My eternal, fragmental parts. Due to conditioned life, they are struggling very hard with the six senses, which include the mind

- The two types of fever described in this verse (SB 4.29.23-25) can be explained in contemporary language as pneumonia and typhoid. When there is an extreme fever in the body, there is typhoid and pneumonia, and they are described as Prajvara
- The Varanasi is mostly inhabited by these Sankarites, and just a few miles off from Varanasi there is one place which is called Saranatha. In this place the bodha philosophers flourished. They came from Gaya, Gaya Province
- The Vedic injunctions aim in this direction - of worship of the Lord, who is the source of all beings and who is all-pervading, man can, in the performance of his own duty, attain perfection

- The word adyah in this verse (SB 4.30.7) is very significant. The Supreme Personality of Godhead is the origin even of Paramatma and Brahman
- The word amsa-bhagena is important in this verse. In Bhagavad-gita (BG 10.42) the Lord says: But what need is there, Arjuna, for all this detailed knowledge? With a single fragment of Myself I (Krsna) pervade and support this entire universe
- The word anatha-varga is very significant in this verse (SB 4.25.42). Natha means "husband," and a means "without." A young woman who has no husband is called anatha, meaning "one who is not protected"

- The word brahmana-murtina in this verse (CC Madhya 6.182) refers to the founder of Mayavada philosophy, Sankaracarya, who was born in the Malabara district of southern India
- The word durvibhavyam is very important in this verse (of SB 8.5.43). No one can understand how everything is happening in this material world by the arrangement of the Supreme Personality of Godhead through His material energies
- The word kriyasu, meaning "by manual labor" or "by work," is important in this verse (of SB 10.2.37). One should engage in practical service to the Lord
- The word mahat in this verse means a pure devotee as confirmed by Krsna in BG 9.13
- The word manarudhah is also very significant in this verse (SB 4.26.8). Under the pretext of becoming great philosophers and scientists, men throughout the whole world are working on the mental platform
- The word mangala ("auspicious") in this verse (SB 4.21.42) is very significant. Srila Sridhara Svami quotes that to do what is good and to reject what is not good is called mangala, or auspicious
- The word mayamayam used in this verse (SB 5.18.17) should not be understood according to the interpretations of the Mayavadis. Maya means affection as well as illusion. When a mother deals with her child affectionately, she is called mayamaya
- The word naksatra means "the stars," the word tara in this context refers to the planets, and adyah means "the first one specifically mentioned." Among the planets, the first is Surya, the sun, not the moon
- The word nirupita, meaning "concluded," is very significant in this verse (SB 4.30.22). No one has to conduct research work to find God or make progress in spiritual knowledge. Everything is conclusively there in the Vedas
- The word nirvanatman is very significant in this (in SB 3.25.29) verse. Unless one accepts the process of devotional service, one cannot end the continuation of material existence
- The word pramada in this verse is very significant. A beautiful wife is certainly enlivening to her husband, but at the same time is the cause of degradation
- The word pranayamaih is very important in this verse (SB 4.23.8) because the hatha-yogis and astanga-yogis practice pranayama, but generally they do not know the purpose behind it
- The word priyatama (dearmost) is very significant in this verse (SB 5.18.29). Each devotee regards a particular form of the Lord as most dear
- The word rasmi (rope) indicates the mind. The word nida is also significant, for nida indicates the nest where a bird takes rest. In this case nida is the heart, where the living entity is situated. The living entity sits in one place only
- The word sadhv-alankrta used in this verse (SB 4.26.12) indicates that one must be absorbed in knowledge gathered from the instructions of saintly persons
- The word samatvam is very significant in this verse (of SB 10.1.59). Samatvam refers to one who is always equipoised, unaffected by either happiness or distress
- The word samprasanne, which is used in this verse, means "being satisfied." A person should act in such a way that the Lord is satisfied by the activity; it is not that he himself is to be satisfied
- The word samsucitam in this stanza is also significant. One should not think for a moment that the realization of Narada was childish imagination only. It is not like that. It is so realized by the expert and erudite scholars
- The word su-duracarah used in this verse is very significant, and we should understand it properly. When a living entity is conditioned, he has two kinds of activities: one is conditional, and the other is constitutional
- The word sura-dvisam, which in this verse (SB 6.7.39) means "of the enemies of the demigods," also refers to the atheists
- The word tad-darsana-dhvasta-samasta-kilbisah is very important in this verse - SB 6.16.31
- The word tirtha-padiya indicates devotees of Lord Visnu, or Vaisnavas. As far as brahmanas are concerned, the mode of reception has been already described. Now, in this verse (SB 4.22.11), special stress is being given to the Vaisnavas
- The word ucitaharah used in this verse (SB 4.26.11) is important. Ucita means "appropriate." One must eat appropriately and not take after food as hogs take after stool
- The word urdhva-retasah is very significant. Urdhva-retah refers to one who can control sex life and who instead of wasting semen by discharging it, can use this most important substance accumulated in the body to enrich the brain
- The word vipralabdhah is very significant in this verse (SB 4.25.62). Vi means "specifically," and pralabdha means - obtained
- The word yoga-maya is used in this verse (SB 3.15.26). Yoga-maya-balena vikuntham
- The words "right" and "wrong" are very significant in this verse (BG 18.15). BG 1972 purports
- The words adhoksaja-dhiyah, meaning "Krsna consciousness," are very important in this verse (SB 4.21.25). The king and citizens should both be Krsna conscious, otherwise both of them will be doomed to lower species of life after death
- The words sevya bhagavan in this verse of the Caitanya-caritamrta are important. Bhagavan indicates the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Visnu. Lord Visnu alone is worshipable. There is no need to worship demigods
- The words srutena bhuyasa, "by constantly hearing," are very important in this verse. By constantly hearing about devotional service, one can check the force of anger, which is detrimental to the process of devotional service
- The words tvat paratah are very significant in this verse. The Supreme Personality of Godhead is paratah parat. The word para means "transcendental, beyond this material world."
- The words vastra-gupta dola are very significant in this verse (of CC Adi 13.114). Even fifty or sixty years ago in Calcutta, all respectable ladies would go to a neighboring place riding on a palanquin carried by four men
- The yoga system instructed in this chapter is called sanatana-yoga, or eternal activities performed by the living entity. This yoga has two divisions of action, called sacrifices
- The younger section of this country, both boys and girls, are taking great interest in this movement. At present I have more than 100 students already initiated, strictly following the Vaisnava regulations
- There are a great number of spiritual planets in this atmosphere, and these planets exist eternally, even when all the planets within this material universe are vanquished at the end of Brahma's life
- There are always two kinds of men in this universe, not only on this planet but also in higher planetary systems. All the kings dominating planets like the sun and moon also have enemies like Rahu
- There are demons and devotees in this material world, but in the spiritual world there is no such distinction
- There are different kinds of charities, as will be explained later on (in this chapter 16 of BG), charity in the modes of goodness, passion and ignorance. Charity in the mode of goodness is recommended by the scriptures. BG 1972 purports
- There are heaps of sinful reaction in our life, for so many life after life in this material world. And as soon as you surrender to Krsna, immediately Krsna takes care of you and He manages how to adjust all the sinful reactions

- These matters of marriage between the devotees must be decided upon by the GBC men and other senior members by their mutual consultation. So in this case you consider with other GBC and senior men
- They (atmanandi devotees of God) remain, alone with God. In this classification was Kardama Muni. He wanted to be free from all anxieties and remain alone within his heart with the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- They (jnanis) will have to take birth. Their so-called liberation is not possible, because if you have to take birth, then where is your liberation? There is no liberation. Liberation means no more accepting birth in this material world.
- They (material scientists) can bluff because people are not aware of the whole science. They can bluff. In this material world there are two energies working: material and spiritual. There cannot be only material
- They (nirvisesavadi, sunyavadi) cannot understand, because they are in the tama, in this darkness of material world. They are disgusted with this material world. They want to make it zero, nirvana
- They (the devotees) receive special favor from the Lord for their compassionate work that they can even go back to Godhead in this very lifetime and not be forced to take another birth

- Water now, in this season, the summer season, you will find very pleasant. The same water, in the winter season, it becomes pinching. So water as it is - neither pinching nor the source of pleasure. But it is due to this body
- We are in this apartment; we go to another apartment. Tatha dehantara-praptih (BG 2.13). Similarly, nobody dies. It is change of body, from this body to another body. So we have no death. This is illusion
- We are part and parcel of God. Somehow or other, we are now in this material existence. So the real aim of life is to return to the spiritual world, where there is no struggle for existence - blissful, happy life

- We living entities in different forms are all children of the SPG, as confirmed in BG 14.4: "It should be understood that all species of life, O son of Kunti, are made possible by birth in this material nature, & that I (Krsna) am the seed-giving father"
- We may say, "This vipra is a greatly learned man." In this sentence, the vipra is the subject, and the predicate is his erudition
- We should further note in this verse the two words santam and anandam, which denote that devotional service of the Lord can really bestow upon the devotee two important benedictions, namely peace and satisfaction

- When a man becomes too proud of his material possessions, he can perform any disastrous act, and therefore Daksa acted out of false prestige. That is described in this chapter
- When chanting the Hare Krsna maha-mantra, in the beginning one may commit many offenses, which are called namabhasa and nama-aparadha. In this stage there is no possibility of achieving perfect love of Krsna by chanting the Hare Krsna maha-mantra
- When Hiranyakasipu asked Prahlada Maharaja, "Where is your Lord? Is He present in this pillar?" Prahlada Maharaja fearlessly replied, "Yes, my Lord is present everywhere"
- When His incarnation is present on this planet or in this universe, the Lord kills the demons & protects His devotees simultaneously. Sometimes Visnu appears in His person as Lord Krsna or Lord Rama. All of these appearances are mentioned in the sastras

- When one is unsuccessful in achieving his desired goal of life one is said to be in a state of lamentation, in this condition one becomes questioning, thoughtful, tearful, regretful and heavy-breathed. His bodily color changes, and his mouth becomes dry
- When situated in this original position, the living entity is unaffected by the modes of material nature
- When the gopis were searching after Krsna & all of a sudden He came out from the bushes & creepers, all of them became stunned & almost senseless. In this state the gopis appeared very beautiful. This is an example of pralaya, or devastation in happiness
- When the Lord appears in this universe in the form of a human being, He has two purposes, as stated in Bhagavad-gita (BG 4.8) - paritranaya sadhunam vinasaya ca duskrtam: to destroy the demons and protect the devotees

- Who is a fallen soul? Fallen soul means anyone who has taken birth in this material world, he is a fallen soul, never mind what he is. He may be Brahma or he may be an insignificant ant. Anyone who is within this material world
- Whoever follows the principles of devotional service with attachment and follows a particular devotee of Vrajabhumi certainly attains the highest perfection of love of Godhead in that spirit
- Why should we not fulfill this mission of life in this human form of life? Why unnecessarily desire so many sense gratification? This is called tapasya
- Why soce? - Soce for these rascals who are making big, big plans to be happy in this material world
- Why this is so much struggle in this New York City? Because now there is Presidential election, so everyone is thinking, "If I could become the President." That is everyone's desire
- Why you are rotting in this material world of birth and death and manufacturing so many ways of life? You give up all this nonsense. Just surrender to Me, you'll be happy
- Within this temple (Pana-Nrsimha) is a conchshell presented by the late king of Tanjore, and it is said that this shell was used by Lord Krsna Himself. During the month of March, a great fair takes place in this temple
- Without intelligence . . . just like your brain, if he, if brain is crazy, your body may be very strong, but that is useless, because there is no brain. So at the present moment, especially in this Kali-yuga, there is lack of intelligent class of men

- Yoga, when you are in contact with Krsna, that is the secret of success in this material world, working. Otherwise whatever you are doing, whatever you are working, it will produce some reaction and you will have to enjoy or suffer
- Yogis try to reach Krsna by jnana-yoga and other yogas, but fail. Yet although mother Yasoda was a woman, Krsna was afraid of her, as clearly described in this verse - SB 10.9.9
- You are getting initiation in this auspicious day when Lord Krsna and Radharani, His eternal consort, is now being situated, er, established, installed, on this auspicious moment
- You are trying to satisfy all the demigods by the performance of this yajna, but you should know that all these demigods are but parts and parcels of Indra, the King of heaven. How, then, can you kill him in this great sacrifice?
- You are very fortunate to be taking part in the Krishna Consciousness movement. If you take it very seriously, then you will not have to take another birth in this miserable material world
- You can never be happy in this material world, but you are trying to become happy in so many politician, social workers, this and that, simply wasting their time. They cannot be. You have to accept the leadership of Krsna
- You cannot be happy in this material world. Tell me if anyone is happy. Nobody is happy. The problem, only problem, beginning from the womb of mother up to the again, next death, simply problems - this is material life
- You have seen sometimes the horse. They are having foams in the mouth. So we have to work so hard in this material world that sometimes foam comes. Yes. We become thirsty
- You rot in this material world or go back to Godhead. That is your option. It is open to you both ways. You go to hell or go to heaven. That is your option. So human life is meant for selecting - "What shall I do? I shall go to hell or heaven?"
- Your intelligence was given to understand what is God, what is your relationship with God, why you are rotting in this material world under shadow illusion of so-called happiness. These things are to be known in human form of body
