- If you think of Krsna... Just like here is temple. If you come and, as other devotees are doing, if you do, if you attend mangala-arati, if you attend bhoga-arati, always see, then offer obeisances, then naturally you will think of Krsna always
- If you think still that "I am more intelligent (than) Krsna, let me deliberate and consider," then you remain rascal. You cannot be more intelligent than Krsna. He says sarva-dharman parityajya (BG 18.66), you take it. That is real intelligence

- Nanda continued, "We simply think of Krsna - how He used to smile and how He looked upon us with grace. When we go to the banks of the Yamuna or the lakes of Vrndavana or near Govardhana Hill or the pasturing fields"
- Nanda continued, "We think that Krsna and Balarama may be chief demigods in heaven who have appeared before us like ordinary boys to execute particular duties on earth"
- Nanda Maharaja was thinking of Krsna's safety from the hands of demons like Putana and Sakatasura, and because he possessed such a son, he thought of himself as most fortunate

- Narada said, "In fact, they (Pandavas) are always thinking of You and chanting Your name in ecstatic friendship"

- Nobody can be equal with Krsna; nobody can be greater than Krsna. Everyone is lower than Krsna. So this intelligence is real intelligence, and if we think that equal to Krsna or greater than Krsna, that is all maya
- Nondevotees think that Lord Krsna's incarnations are ordinary material creatures, and therefore they distinguish between the beautiful and the not beautiful
O
- O King (Yudhisthira), that personality whom, out of ignorance only, you thought to be your maternal cousin, your very dear friend, well-wisher, counselor, messenger, benefactor, etc., is that very Personality of Godhead, Sri Krsna

- One may think of Krsna as smaller than the smallest. That is also a kind of greatness. Krsna can manufacture this gigantic cosmic manifestation, and He can also manufacture a small insect
- One may think of Krsna as the supreme personality, one may think of Krsna as the supreme master, one may think of Krsna as the supreme friend, one may think of Krsna as the supreme son, or one may think of Krsna as the supreme conjugal lover
- One must remember the form of Krsna; if he quits his body thinking of this form, he approaches the spiritual kingdom. BG 1972 Introduction
- One must try for the point when he simply hears Krishna and immediately all of Krishna, His Pastimes, His Form, His Quality, are in his thoughts. So to always be immersed in thoughts of Krishna this is our process
- One need only be firmly convinced by the spiritual master that Krsna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. If one decides this, he can make further progress by thinking of Krsna, chanting of Krsna and glorifying Him

- One should not mistakenly think that Lord Krsna must be worshiped by an inimical attitude like that of Sisupala
- One should not try to understand Krsna as a human being. As stated previously, only a foolish person thinks Him to be a human being. This is again expressed here in a different way. BG 1972 purports
- One should think of Krsna and act for Krsna favorably, not unfavorably. BG 1972 purports
- One who has attained yoga is not dependent on the dictations of his mind; rather, the mind comes under his control. Nor is the mind put out or extinguished, for it is the business of the yogi to think of Krsna or Visnu always
- One who is always absorbed in Krsna consciousness, and if by fortune at the time of death he thinks of Krsna, he is at once transferred within a second

- One who thinks of the Supreme Lord always, he's the greatest yogi, he is the supermost jnani, and he is also the greatest devotee at the same time
- One who thinks that Krsna, the Supreme Being, has a material covering is himself covered by maya
- One who tries to understand this instructive spiritual knowledge (that if we talk and think about Krsna we don't have to accept another gross and subtle body) is delivered from this ocean of nescience
- One's mind can be peaceful only when one simply thinks of Krsna in full KC. This does not mean that one has to have very great thinking power: one has to understand simply the Absolute Truth, is all-pervasive by His localized aspect of Paramatma
- Our mind is never vacant; always think something. We think of something always, twenty-four hours. That is mind's nature. So if you simply think of Krsna, then your life becomes successful
- Our only duty is to think of Krsna, Purusottama, so that we may die at any moment, but we become spiritual salvation. This is our only duty
- Our program is that no matter what our engagement may be, we shall perform it in Krishna Consciousness, chanting Hare Krishna and thinking about something of Krishna, His Name, His Form, His Beauty, etc
- Out of fear, he (Vasudeva) began to take shelter of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. It is quite natural for a devotee in danger to think of Krsna, because he has no other shelter
P
- Padma Purana states, "Even if there is some material loss, one should not be perturbed, but should always think of Krsna within Himself"
- Pariksit Maharaja felt obliged to think of Krsna in the last days of his life. This is the ideal result of Krsna consciousness: ante narayana-smrtih - SB 2.1.6

- Persons who are sinful asuras like Kamsa and Jarasandha cannot think of Lord Krsna as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the Absolute Truth
- Persons who fully surrender at the lotus feet of the Supreme Personality of Godhead and always think of His lotus feet are accepted and recognized by the Lord as His own personal assistants or servants
- Prahlada Maharaja simply thought of Krsna. Because of this, he had to undergo a great deal of trouble given by his father
- Prayers by King Kulasekhara, 1968 - Let me die in the sound condition of my life so that I can think of your lotus feet
- Punya-sravana-kirtanah (SB 1.2.17). That meditation can be possible by hearing and chanting, and then thinking of Krsna will automatically come. That is the process of Krsna consciousness
R
- Rohini said, "My dear Queen, our only qualification was that we were always thinking of the lotus feet of Lord Krsna, which is the way to release oneself from the bondage of repeated birth and death"
- Rukmini enhanced her love for Krsna simply by thinking of Him. This is an instance of thoughtfulness in ecstatic love
S

- Satatam smartavyo visnuh. The process if only thinking of Krsna in different engagements. The process, real process, is to think of Krsna
- She (Devaki) could adjust the events only by thinking that Lord Krsna can perform anything wonderful in His pastimes because His potencies are all inconceivable
- She (Kunti) was certainly living like a poor innocent animal in the midst of several tigers. Being a devotee of Lord Krsna, she always thought of Him and expected that one day Krsna would come and save them from their dangerous position
- She (Satya) began to offer prayers to Krsna mentally, thinking, "I do not know how the Supreme Personality of Godhead can be pleased with me. He is the master and Lord of everyone"
- She (Satya) then began to think, "If I have performed any pious activities to the best of my ability, and if I have sincerely thought all along to have Krsna as my husband, then Krsna may be pleased to fulfill my long-cherished desire"
- She (Satya) thought that the Supreme Personality of Godhead could be pleased only out of His own causeless mercy upon the devotee; otherwise, there was no means to please Him
- She (Yasoda) forgets that only one Lord is supplying the necessities of all the living entities. This same Personality of Godhead has become the son of Yasoda, and she is thinking, "If I do not feed Him nicely, He will die." This is love
- She (Yasoda) thus began to think of the S. P. of Godhead, who is understood through the processes of cultivating knowledge derived from the Upanisads and the Vedanta-sutra, practicing mystic yoga & studying Sankhya philosophy, as her own begotten child
- She could at once perceive that the baby was hiding His unparalleled potencies, which resembled fire covered by ashes. Putana thought, "This child is so powerful that He can destroy the whole universe immediately"
- Simply if he thinks of Krsna always in the process as described here, he becomes liberated
- Simply thinking of Krsna. That will help you. Ananya-bhavena. This is sadhu
- Simply touching Him has awakened your dormant love of Krsna, but because you thought Him a ghost, you were very much afraid of Him
- Simply you act on behalf of Krsna and think of Krsna, and don't bother about the necessities of life. It will be automatically supplied. Don't be disturbed from that point of view
- Simply you have to agree, "Yes, I shall think of Krsna, chant Hare Krsna." That's all. That is required. Then gradually you become bhakta. Gradually you worship, and gradually you offer obeisances, surrender. That one, that is wanted by Krsna
- Sisupala said, "I cannot understand how you have selected this cowherd boy, Krsna, and have left aside all these great personalities. I think Krsna to be no better than a crow - how can He be fit to accept the first worship in this great sacrifice?"
- So bhakti-marga is not very difficult. Very easy. Any child can do it. Any child, if he sees the form of Lord Krsna in the temple, he remembers, and he continues to think of Krsna
- So don't you think Krsna is the highest authority? So whatever knowledge you receive from Krsna is far better than the newspaper knowledge
- So many paraphernalia how to engage your mind. Hearing and chanting about Krsna, thinking of Krsna, worshiping Krsna, talking about Krsna, writing about Krsna, selling the books about Krsna, eating Krsna prasadam. In this way you become Krsna-ized
- So there is no question of making it vacant or void. To fill up the place with better things. So when you think of Krsna, then you forget maya. Otherwise you are entrapped with maya
- So-called devotees like the sahajiyas cheaply imagine they are meeting Krsna in Vrndavana. Such thinking may be useful, but actually meeting Krsna is possible through the attitude of separation taught by Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu
- Some enemy of Krsna's was enlivened with the thought that he needn't fear Krsna because if he simply surrendered unto Him, Krsna would give him all protection
- Some people argue that if everyone thought of Krsna in that way, the whole universe would be vacated because everyone would go back home, back to Godhead
- Some think that the universal form of Krsna which was manifested to Arjuna is more important than His personal form. According to them, the personal form of the Supreme is something imaginary. BG 1972 purports
- Sometimes disturbances come, but the agonies and anxieties of the devotees are at once mitigated when they think of the Supreme Personality of Godhead in His beautiful form or the smiling face of the Lord
- Sometimes less intelligent scholars make a mistake and think that the Krsna of Vrndavana and that of the Battle of Kuruksetra are different personalities. But for Bhismadeva this misconception is completely removed
- Sometimes the gopis would think about His (Krsna's) soft nails, His moving eyebrows and His teeth, which were catechu-colored from chewing pan
- Sometimes the gopis would think about His soft nails, moving eyebrows and His teeth, which were catechu colored from chewing pan
- Sometimes the residents of Vrndavana see Krsna's wonderful activities and think, "Krsna must be some demigod who has come here." They never recognize that Krsna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead - or if they do, Krsna makes them immediately forget
- Sometimes, by thinking of Krsna, they became so confident of being out of all danger that they would lie down at night in the courtyards of their houses. This is an instance of dizziness in ecstatic love due to natural affection for Krsna
- Sometimes, in thought of Krsna, they (the queens) remained silent, and in great ecstasy of bhava and anubhava they sometimes spoke as if in delirium
- Srila Advaita Acarya Prabhu thought, "If Krsna Himself appears in order to distribute the cult of devotional service, then only will liberation be possible for all people"
- Srimati Radharani continued, "In the same way, we have been enchanted by the sweet words of Krsna, & by thinking of the rays of His toenails again & again, we are becoming more & more lusty for His association. I request you not to talk of Krsna anymore"
- Srutadeva thought, "How has it become possible that Lord Krsna, who is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and His associates, the great sages, whose very presence makes a place as sanctified as a pilgrimage site, have agreed to come to my place"
- Stated in Srimad-Bhagavatam: "When the cowherd girls and Krsna thus joined together, each girl thought that Krsna was dearly embracing her alone"
- Such (a yogi in samadhi) devotee of the Lord engages himself twenty-four hours daily in the service of the Lord so that his whole attention is engrossed with the thoughts of the Lord in ninefold devotional service
- Such (parents, lovers and friends) devotees of the Lord never think of the Lord as the Supreme, but think of Him exactly as a common friend, a pet son, or a lover or husband very much dear to heart and soul
- Such achievements (achievment of great mystics) do not enhance the transcendental bliss felt by a devotee who always thinks of Krsna within the core of his heart
- Such pure love of Godhead (when a devotee thinks of Him as his pet son, personal friend or most dear fiance) is unadulterated by any tinge of superfluous nondevotional desires and is not mixed with any sort of fruitive action
- Sudama thought, "He (Krsna) also respects the brahmanas so much that He embraced to His chest such a poor brahmana as me, although He never embraces anyone to His chest except the goddess of fortune"
- Sudama thought, "He (Krsna) can understand the mind of His devotee, and He sumptuously fulfills the devotee’s desires. All these are acts of my friend Krsna
- Sudama thought, "How can there be any comparison between me, a poor, sinful brahmana, & the S.L Krsna, who is the only shelter of the goddess of fortune? considering me a brahmana, with heartfelt pleasure He embraced me in His two transcendental arms
- Sudama thought, "I do not want any opulence. I only desire not to forget His service. I simply wish to be associated with His (Krsna) pure devotees. May my mind and activities be always engaged in His service"
- Sudama thought, "I simply offered Him (Krsna) a morsel of chipped rice, and in exchange He has given me opulences greater than the opulence of the King of heaven"
- Sudama thought, "Lord Krsna was so kind to me that He allowed me to sit on the same bedstead where the goddess of fortune lies down. He considered me His real brother"
- Sudama thought, "The Lord (Krsna) fulfills the desire of everyone according to his position, yet one who is not in Krsna consciousness considers all the gifts of the Lord to be less than his desire"
- Sudama thought, "The Lord (Krsna) was so kind to me that He did not give me even a farthing, knowing very well that I am a poverty-stricken man who, if I got some money, might become puffed up and mad after material opulence and so forget Him"
- Sudama thought. "I do not find any cause other than the all-merciful glance of my friend Lord Krsna, the chief of the Yadu dynasty"
- Suppose a sputnik is flying on the outer space and we are getting knowledge of this from the newspaper. You are not going there, but you are receiving the knowledge from some authority whom you believe. So don't you think Krsna is the highest authority
- Suppose you become a devotee and think of Krsna, what is loss on your part? There is no loss. So without any loss, if you get the greatest benediction of life, why don't you try it? This is our request
- Suppose you have got a picture of Krsna and you simply think of the picture, man-mana, and you offer a little lamp, a little incense, and if you don't offer, if you simply offer your respect, what is your loss?
- Suta Gosvami said: Thus being deeply absorbed in thinking of the instructions of the Lord, which were imparted in the great intimacy of friendship, and in thinking of His lotus feet, Arjuna's mind became pacified and free from all material contamination
T
- Tears by force are coming out: "Oh, Krsna is going away." At the same time, they want to check: "There may not be any inauspicity for Krsna." They're thinking Krsna, for Krsna, not for personal self
- That He (Krsna) and His companions (Narada and others) were present in both houses, although both the brahmana (Srutadeva) and the King (Bahulasva) thought He was present in one house only, is another opulence of the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- That is cultivation of Krsna consciousness. Favorably. Not Krsna consciousness like Kamsa, always thinking of Krsna, how to kill Him. That is not anukulyena. That is not favorable
- That is not very essential. Essential is how to think of Krsna. Krsna says, man-mana bhava mad-bhaktah. He doesn't say that you become vegetarian
- That is the practice. You should simply come to the thinking of Krsna. That is perfection. And if you become embarrassed with so many things, then there is risk of becoming a cat, dog, deer, or demigod, anything
- That this kind of meditation is perfect samadhi is confirmed at the end of Chapter 6 of the BG, where Krsna says that of all yogis, the greatest is the one who constantly thinks of the Lord within the core of his heart with love and devotion - CC Preface
- The adjustment is possible only when we think of the inconceivable potency of the Lord
- The Asuras wrongly think that Krsna took birth like an ordinary child and passed away from this world like an ordinary man. Such asuric conceptions are rejected by persons in knowledge of the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- The atma-medhah is always thinking of Krsna's activities in Krsna consciousness. Since Sanat-kumara, who was a son of Lord Brahma, was fully Krsna conscious, he could point out the path of spiritual advancement
- The beauty is that the Pandavas have not lost their faith and love for You (Krsna), in spite of all these tribulations. In fact, they are always thinking of You and chanting Your name in ecstatic friendship
- The bhakti-yoga system is authorized, and if you want to know about God, then you have to adopt this bhakti-yoga system because in the Sixth Chapter of BG it is concluded that the topmost yogi is he who is always thinking of Krsna within himself
- The bhakti-yogi always thinks of Krsna, and therefore at the time of death he can very easily transfer himself to Krsnaloka, without even perceiving the pains of death
- The brahmana (Sudama) thought, "It is most pleasurable to see Lord Krsna, who is most devoted to the brahmanas. How great a lover He is of the brahminical culture! He is the Supreme Brahman Himself, yet He reciprocates with the brahmanas"
- The common man who has no love for Krsna cannot always think of Krsna; therefore he has to think materially. Arjuna is considering the mode of thinking of the materialistic persons of this world. BG 1972 purports
- The common materialistic conditioned souls speculate that the Lord (Krsna) is one of them. Out of their ignorance they think that the Lord is affected by matter, although He is unattached
- The contamination of the material world does not affect the Supreme Godhead. Krsna therefore says in the Bhagavad-gita that those who are rascals and fools think of Him as an ordinary human being, not knowing His param bhavam
- The demigods encouraged Devaki not to fear Kamsa, but to think of the Supreme Personality of Godhead (Krsna), who was already within her womb
- The demigods prayed - Impersonalists think that Your (Krsna's) many names or forms are according to a particular type of work and quality because they accept You from the position of a material observer
- The devotee should always think of Krsna within himself and should choose a very dear devotee who is a servitor of Krsna in Vrndavana
- The devotees cannot tolerate even the pricking of the Lord's lotus feet by a thorn. This was the attitude of the gopis when they thought of Krsna wandering in the forest, with pebbles and grains of sand pricking His lotus feet
- The devotees now present are constantly thinking of the Supreme Lord and are therefore highly advanced
- The devotees think of Krsna, act for Krsna, eat for Krsna, sleep for Krsna and work for Krsna. Thus everything is engaged in the service of Krsna. A total life in Krsna consciousness saves one from material contamination
- The devotees who always think of Krsna as a superior are in subordinate ecstatic love. To such a devotee the concept of inferiority to the Lord is very prominent, and he rarely takes interest in any other kind of transcendental loving humor with the Lord
- The elderly brahmana thought, "Since Lord Krsna is very merciful, He will certainly come to prove my statement"
- The family members of the Yadu dynasty and the cowherds of Vrndavana had their minds fixed on Krsna. That is the symptom of perfect knowledge
- The first thing he saw was a man lying down asleep within the cave. Kalayavana was eager to fight with Krsna, and when he could not see Krsna but instead saw only a man lying down, he thought that Krsna was sleeping within the cave
- The followers of Srimad-Bhagavatam have no such consciousness. They are all Krsna conscious, thinking that they are Krsna's and Krsna is theirs
- The gopis always thought of the Lord's lotus feet when He was walking in the pasturing grounds, and, as described in the previous verse (of SB 10.2.37), simply by thinking of the Lord's lotus feet, the gopis were fully absorbed in transcendence
- The gopis approached Krsna actually by lusty desires, the kamat. Bhayat: and Kamsa was thinking of Krsna out of fearfulness. Dvesyat: the Sisupala, he was always envious of Krsna
- The gopis are perfectly in trance, samadhi, the highest perfectional stage of mystic power. In the Bhagavad-gita, it is confirmed that one who is constantly thinking of Krsna is a first-class yogi among all kinds of yogis
- The gopis are so fortunate that they can see and think of Krsna twenty-four hours a day, beginning from their milking the cows or husking the paddy or churning the butter in the morning
- The gopis continued, "How we are afflicted simply to think that Your soft lotus feet are being pricked by the dry grass and the tiny stones in the forest! We are so attached to You (Krsna) that we always think simply of Your lotus feet"
- The gopis have set the standard of devotion for the whole world. One who follows in the footsteps of the gopis by constantly thinking of Krsna can attain the highest perfectional stage of spiritual life
- The gopis said, "In that condition, we shall simply think of You (Krsna) and Your beautiful features and give up our bodies immediately. In that way we think it will be possible for us to reside at Your lotus feet in the next life"
- The gopis said, "Krsna is the well-wisher of Vrndavana. He is as kind to you as to us; therefore after leaving us, He must have been present in your company. O fortunate trees, we are thinking of Krsna, the younger brother of Balarama"
- The gopis think: "I have offered this body to Lord Krsna. He is its owner, and it brings Him enjoyment"
- The gopis think: "Krsna has obtained so much pleasure by seeing me." That thought increases the fullness and beauty of their faces and bodies
- The great example among women was Queen Kunti whose family life was perpetual danger, but because she always thought of Krsna she was saved
- The impersonalists cannot understand the principle of satisfying Krsna's senses because they reject the personality of Godhead. Thus they think God has no senses and therefore no sense satisfaction
- The inhabitants of Vrndavana were always engaged in thinking of Krsna, in constant meditation on the Personality of Godhead in a particular form of samadhi, or trance of bhakti-yoga. They had no fear of the miseries of material existence
- The kings continued: "By Your (Krsna's) causeless mercy only, we are now able to think of Your lotus feet. This is our greatest gain"
- The learned mental speculators, however, think of Him according to their whims. May the Lord be pleased with me
- The Lord becomes a subordinate object of love in such transcendental relationships (when a devotee thinks of Him as his pet son, personal friend or most dear fiance)
- The Lord does not say that one should give up his prescribed duties or engagements. One can continue them and at the same time think of Krsna by chanting Hare Krsna. BG 1972 purports
- The Lord's promise is that anyone who is in such pure Krsna consciousness (twenty-four hours thinking of Krsna) will certainly return to the abode of Krsna, where he will be engaged in the association of Krsna face to face. BG 1972 purports
- The main purpose of sannyasa life is to be in constant companionship with the Supreme Lord, either by thinking of Him within the heart or hearing of Him through aural reception. In this age, hearing is more important than thinking
- The materialistic person who aspires after sense gratification cannot properly think of Krsna
- The Mayavadi philosophers think that if Krsna is everything, then Krsna's separate identity is lost. That is material thinking
- The Mayavadi philosophers wrongly think that Krsna loses His own separate existence in His many expansions. This thought is material in nature. BG 1972 purports
- The members who always thought themselves protected by Krsna could readily convert their conviction into practical demonstration
- The more we talk of Krsna, think of Krsna and preach for Krsna, the more we become purified. This means we no longer have to accept a hallucinatory gross and subtle body, but instead attain our spiritual identity
- The mystic expansions of Krsna were not perceived by the gopis because Krsna appeared alone to each of them. Each gopi thought that Krsna was dancing with her alone
- The next morning he (Sudama) started for his home, thinking always about his reception by Krsna, and thus he merged in transcendental bliss
- The nondevotee class of men cannot think of the personal feature of the Lord. Because of their poor fund of knowledge, the personal form of the Lord, like Rama or Krsna, is completely revolting to them
- The only purpose of life is to be fully absorbed in thoughts of Krsna and His form, pastimes, activities and qualities. If one is able to think of Krsna in this way, twenty-four hours a day, he is already liberated (svarupena vyavasthitih) - SB 2.10.6
- The Pandavas could not even think of separation from Sri Krsna, since the attraction was more intense for them because of continuous personal contact
- The personified Vedas pray, "My Lord, You are unlimited, and therefore no one can measure the extent of Your potencies. I think that even You do not know the range of Your energies"
- The politician says that his Krsna is different from the Krsna depicted in Bhagavad-gita. Even though he accepts Krsna and Rama as the Supreme he thinks of Rama and Krsna as impersonal because he has no idea of service to Krsna
- The process for receiving the favor of the Supreme Personality of Godhead is described here (in SB 10.12.39). Yat-pada-pankaja-palasa-vilasa-bhaktya (SB 4.22.39). Simply by thinking of Krsna, one can attain Him very easily
- The process of changing one's nature at the critical moment of death is here explained. A person who at the end of his life quits his body thinking of Krsna attains the transcendental nature of the Supreme Lord
- The process of Krsna consciousness, by which one always thinks of Krsna, is the transcendental process by which one can revert to his original, spiritual existence
