- A dog is also becoming a father. The such kind of father-becoming is not recommended in the Vedic civilization. Just become a real father to give the real benefit to the son. Then you become a father. This is called varnasrama-dharma

- Association is very influential. Satam prasangat. Sangat sanjayate kamah. If you associate with drunkards, you become a drunkard. If you associate with sadhu, then you become sadhu
- At the present moment education means to get some service. What is the value of that education? If you become dependent on others, then what is the value of this education? Therefore kalau sudra-sambhavah, everyone is a sudra

- Become authority. That is . . . We said that. You become guru, authority. But you learn first of all as cela from the guru. And then you become guru
- Bhakti means unless you become an apprentice of a bhakta, how you can attain bhakti? That is not possible
- But I do not wish to die. Why shall I be cheerful? You rascal, you say, "Become cheerful." (laughter) "Cheerfully, you become hanged
- By nature I am active. By nature, because I am spirit, and by nature I am active. And my activities are exhibited even I am contaminated with this matter. And when you become purified from matter, do you think you shall be silent?
- By simply becoming Krsna conscious, you become good member of your family, you become good citizen, you become good, I mean to say, yourself. You become humanitarian, you become philanthropic, altruistic - everything
- By the grace of guru you learn something. Then when you learn something, then you become greater than him, don't care for guru. This is demonic

- Caitanya Mahaprabhu says, janma sarthaka kari kara paropakara (CC Adi 9.41): "First of all make your life successful. Then you become a teacher." Paropakara. You are a fool number one and you are going to make paropakara
- Chant Hare Krsna and you become perfect. But we are so unfortunate, we are not even prepared to chant. This is our position. So you have to make little determination that "I shall chant henceforward Hare Krsna mantra"
- Christ is Krsna conscious. That's all. You become like Christ, Krsna conscious. Don't you understand Christ, that he is fully Krsna conscious? You don't understand it? Then you become like Christ, fully Krsna conscious

- Dancing is very good. The more you dance, the more you become light; means the burden of material contamination becomes reduced. Dancing is so nice. Even if you don't feel ecstasy, if you dance by force, that will also help us
- Dhari' macha na chonya pani, that we should fish, but don't touch the water. If on the plea of fishing, you become fall down in the water and you are gone, washed away, then what is this?
- Dharma means obedience to the laws of God. That is dharma. Either you become Christian or Hindu or Muslim, whether you accept God as the supreme authority and whether you abide by the laws of God, then you are dharmic
- Dharma means to mold your life in such a way that ultimately you become disentangled from this complication of material life
- Dhirah means very sober, fully controlled. That is called dhirah. Dhiras tatra na muhyati. Unless you become dhirah, you cannot understand what is spiritual life. That is not possible
- Did I say to anyone that "You are Christian. You become a Hindu"? No, never I said. That is not my business
- Don't be very much happy when you are in happy condition of life; neither you become mad in miserable condition of life. Chant Hare Krsna and make your life success. That is required

- Eating must result in good health. That is eating. Eating does not mean to fill up the belly with all rubbish things. Eating means that you become healthy, nice eating
- Education means enlightenment. If you foolishly do something, immediately you become criminal. So education means to enlighten them to know what is right, what is wrong. That is education
- Either you become communist or capitalist or this or that, you have to accept one leader. So take the best, first-class, perfect leader: Krsna. Then you'll be happy
- Either you become communist, socialist or capitalist or this "ist" or that "ist," the real disease is bhoga-vancha, "How I shall enjoy this world"
- Either you become lusty or a thief or a murderer or whatever it may be. Some way or other, if you develop this eagerness, that "I must see Krsna," then Krsna will be seen
- Either you become Rockefeller or Ford in this life, and next life the king of moon planet or sun planet or in any way, up to the Brahmaloka, Lord Brahma, Krsna says, still, you have to die, either come down or remain there - there will be change of body
- Either you eat meat or vegetables, if it is eaten for my satisfaction of the tongue, you become implicated in sinful activities, and you have to suffer the reaction
- Even if you do not understand anything, if you simply sit down silently and give aural reception to the sound vibration of Hare Krsna maha-mantra, you become purified
- Even Krsna comes before you, you cannot see. You will see Him - "Oh, He's an ordinary man like me," because you are not qualified to see Him. But when you become qualified, you will see Him always

- First of all you become brahmana; then you can think properly. Where is your education as brahmana? Where is that brain? Eating all nasty things, and you become a brahmana? Therefore Krsna is go-brahmana-hitaya ca
- First of all you become millionaire, then ask the respect. They want the credit beforehand. Trust no future, however pleasant
- First of all, we offer to Krsna, and then we take it. What is the difficulty? There is no difficulty, but you become purified
- From the river Ganges if you take, say, one pound of water, and if you pour it again, one pound, then what is the loss and gain? But you become, by using the Ganges water in that way, you become a devotee of the Mother
- From this initiation point of view, everyone should consider that, "I am no more American," "I am no more Indian," "No more this or that" - "No, I am Hindu; he is Christian" - "I am servant of Krsna." Then you become designationless - servant of Krsna
G
- Go means senses. So unless you become gosvami, your life is spoiled. Gosvami. You cannot be dictated by the senses. You have to dictate to the senses
- God is all-good. So if you remain always with God, then you become good. The same example: if you remain with fire, you become warm, the quality of the fire
- God is always ready to be revealed to you. But how does He reveal? He reveals as soon as you become submissive, you become devotee, you become Krsna conscious, you just follow the path traversed by the great mahajanas, great acaryas
- God is one. So either you become Hindu or Muslim, the God is one. This is to be understood. So the science of God, that is Krsna consciousness. You try to understand scientifically what is meant by God, what is meant by religion
- Government is giving facilities everyone equally. You become educated, you become high-court judge. And if you become criminal, then go to jail. So similarly, God, He's equal to everyone. Samo 'ham sarva-bhutesu (BG 9.29). There is no discrimination
H
- He (Jaya) doesn't mind that "I am going to be enemy of Krsna." The principle is that he's following. If Krsna says that "You become My enemy," I can become His enemy. That is bhakti-yoga. Yes. I want to satisfy Krsna
- He (Krsna) gives you a little intelligence; therefore, you can become proud of your intelligence. But as soon as He likes, He can withdraw immediately, and you become forgetful
- He (Nixon) will take a position, claiming, "I will give you very good service," and "I shall be a first-class servant." Therefore people vote, "All right, you become president." And he is advertising: "Reelect me! Reelect me!" That means he is a servant
- He does not say that You become equal with Me. That is nonsense. So Krsna will be satisfied because your business is how to satisfy Hari, and Hari says, Krsna says, that you surrender. That will satisfy Krsna
- How he is greater than everyone and nobody is equal to Him - everyone is subordinate, everyone is creation of Him - If you understand these factors of the greatness of God perfectly well, then you become fit for being transferred to the spiritual world
- How to control senses, that is the beginning of life. Not A-B-C-D learning and maybe your character may be less than an animal's, and you have got a degree of the university; you become a learned man. No. That is not accepted
- Human life has got a great responsibility. If you become like cats and dog, the hippies, then utsanna, everything is destroyed
I
- I am thinking, "I am this body." I am thinking, "I am Indian," "I am American," "I am Russian," "I am Pakistani." These are upadhis. But if you practice devotional service, Krsna consciousness, then you become free from this contamination of designation
- I did not like to take the position of Krsna. I remained servant of Krsna, and I spoke what Krsna said. That's all. This is my secret. So everyone can do that. There is nothing magic. The magic will act as soon as you become a pure devotee of Krsna
- I don't take cheap students, that "You can do whatever you like, and you pay me some money. I give you some mantra, and you become God." I don't say like that. I don't bluff like that. I have not come to earn money from your country
- I will give intelligence. There is no question of asking. If you become a devotee, sincere devotee, I'll give you everything without your asking
- If by your intelligence you become doubtful, "Whether Krsna is able to give me protection?" then you are finished
- If he has got elevation, he has degradation. This is common sense affairs. If you become rich, you can become poor also. Why that once you become rich and there is no question of becoming poor? Is that guaranteed

- If we associate with all these things, sravanam kirtanam visnoh, hearing and chanting about Visnu, then this misconception of life, that "I am purusa," will vanquish. Then you become liberated
- If we can control the tongue not to touch anything which is not offered to Krsna, and if we do not allow the tongue to talk anything except Krsna, Hare Krsna maha-mantra, then you become the greatest yogi
- If we purify the senses, that "I am spirit soul. The Supreme Spirit Soul is Krsna. I am part and parcel of Krsna; therefore it is my duty to serve Krsna," then you become free immediately
- If we understand these three principles, that God is the supreme father, God is the supreme proprietor, God is the supreme friend, these three things, if you understand, then you become peaceful immediately
- If we understand why Bhagavan appears as the son of Devaki, then you become liberated. Bhagavan says, janma karma ca me divyam yo janati tattvatah (BG 4.9). You have to learn it tattvatah, in truth, not superficially
- If we want really happiness, then we must accept tapasya. Tapasya is required. Without tapasya, if you think that very easily... Or "Without tapasya, I can get it simply by imagination," then you become sahajiya
- If you agree (to material nature) that "I shall be dictated by you," then you become dictated. Just like a disease. If you infect the disease, then you must suffer
- If you are most sinful, then you are going to become abominable living creatures. You go down. And if you become pious, then you are promoted. But our program is not to become pious, not to become sinful: to become Krsna conscious. That will save us
- If you at the time of death think of that, how to swim very nicely within the water, that means next life nature will give you a fish life. You get it. That is God's mercy. Why you artificially try to become a fish? You become actually fish
- If you become a nice, educated person, good character, you'll be always welcome anywhere, good position. And if you are a thief, rascal, without any education, then your position will be different. So karanam guna-sangah asya
- If you become a surrendered soul to God - that means you become a devotee - then you are religionist. Otherwise you are criminal. Therefore sastra says that you should follow the great devotees. That is religion
- If you become aberrant to the injunction of the sastras, then na sukham savapnoti, you'll never get happiness. Na sukham, yah sastra-vidhim utsrjya vartate kama-karatah, na, na sa siddhim avapnoti. There is no question of siddhi, perfection
- If you become abhorrent to the injunction of the sastra, then, there is no question of siddhi, perfection, neither there is question of happiness, na sukham na param gatim, and what to speak of going back to home, back to Godhead. It is useless
- If you become always engaged for sense gratification, go on working, working, working, then go to the restaurant, eat, drink and make your body agitated, then find out liquor and woman, what is this life? This is not life. This is animal life
- If you become anxious to have a body like Krsna, that is also ready. Now it is your choice. If you like, you take the body of a fish, or if you like, you take the body of sac-cid-ananda-vigraha (Bs. 5.1), eternal, blissful knowledge
- If you become devotee, God will talk with you and give you direct instruction

- If you can remain without marrying, it is better. But because you cannot, you become bachelor daddy, therefore you must marry. (laughter) Please don't become bachelor daddy. (laughter) This is most sinful life
- If you constantly remember the Supreme Lord, so you become automatically purified, internally and externally. Because the Lord is absolute, so if we chant the Lord's holy name, the name is also Lord. He has no difference between His name and Himself
- If you continue that thinking, Krsna, how He's standing, how He is playing on flute, how Radharani is there - in this way, if you think, then you become the greatest yogi
- If you develop this daivi sampat, then you become fit for becoming liberated

- If you eat meat, that means you become implicated in sinful activities. You have to be killed by your enemy, and he will eat you, or enemy . . . or you become a goat or a hog or a cow, and your other person will kill you
- If you feel anxiety for Krsna, then it is not material. That is love. That is pure love that, . . . why you become anxious for our children? Because there is love. So whole scheme is that you have to transfer your attachment to Krsna
- If you follow Bible, you also get knowledge. That is knowledge. We are after seeing people, that he has got knowledge of God. It is not a question of Bible or Bhagavad-gita. We want that you become God conscious. That is our movement
- If you give up the injunction of the revealed scripture, you consider something as God, that is not God. You consider something as religion, that is not religion. If you become abhorrent to the injunction of the sastras, then, you'll never get happiness
- If you go on dancing in the club and eating in the club, then gradually you become diseased materially. And the same dancing and same eating here, you become spiritually advanced. So nothing has to be stopped
- If you go to somebody and if you say that "You become a devotee of Krsna, surrender unto Him," so you haven't got to... He'll not be angry. He may take it or not take it. But your business is finished. Krsna will recognize
- If you have desire to enjoy, then don't become a sannyasi, brahmacari. You become a married man, live peacefully with wife and children. That is allowed
- If you hear from authoritative sources, then you become perfect, simply by hearing. Therefore the first principle, hearing, is recommended, sravana

- If you present Krsna's word as it is, without pilfering, without any adulteration, then you become Krsna's representative. There is no difficulty
- If you remain always in Krsna consciousness fire, you are also as good as Krsna, ananda-cinmaya-rasa. And as soon as you go out of the boundary, or somehow or other you are covered, just like cloud, then you become black, or extinguished - no more fire
- If you simply do this missionary work and say that, "Krsna is the Supreme Personality," then you become a great devotee. You become a guru. Why people do not do so? It is not very difficult task
- If you simply read Krsna book, although it looks like story, then you become delivered from these clutches of repetition of birth and death. It is so nice. Because you will understand Krsna
- If you simply speak what Krsna says, then you become His representative. Don't manufacture. Don't be over prudent, manufacturing. Simply to follow Krsna and His representatives, then you become mahajana. Otherwise you are a nonsense. Mudha
- If you simply stick to your own religious ritualistic principles - don't try to understand the philosophy of everything - then you become a fanatics. So we should not become religious fanatics, nor dry mental speculators
- If you simply understand this science, then you become liberated. It is open order. Simply by understanding, even not engaging yourself in transcendental service of the Lord, simply by understanding the process of appearance and disappearance of Krsna
- If you surrender to Krsna, from that moment you become free from all anxieties; therefore Krsna's name is Vaikuntha
- If you take Bhagavad-gita as it is, you become self-realized, liberated soul. But the misfortune is that we become more than Krsna, and we want to comment Bhagavad-gita in our own way. That is our misfortune
- If you take to the Vedic principles of life, then you become religious. And what is that Vedic principle? Vedais ca sarvair aham eva vedyah (BG 15.15). Krsna says, - Vedic principle means to know Me, Krsna
- If you think of Krsna always, then naturally you become devotee of Krsna. Man-mana bhava mad-bhaktah. And mad-yaji, if you actually become devotee of Krsna, then you shall worship Krsna. And if you worship Krsna, then you must offer obeisances to Krsna
- If you touch electricity, immediately you become electrified. That is natural. Similarly, Nityananda is eternal happiness. If you touch Nityananda some way or other, then you become also eternally happy
- If you try to understand that Supreme Person Krsna, who comes before you as ordinary person, you can understand Him if you become His devotee. Otherwise it is not possible
- If you understand these factors of the greatness of God perfectly well, then you become fit for being transferred to the spiritual world. That is called daivi sampad. This is cultivation. This is education. This is not sentiment
- If you violate the orders of God, then you suffer. You are perfect because you have got independence, but you misuse that perfectness. That is your fault. You perfect. You become imperfect by misusing
- If you want real peace in the mind, try to understand what is God, what is your relationship with God, and act accordingly. You will be immediately peaceful. As soon as you become peaceful, your life is successful
- If you want to be a bluffer, cheater, then you can talk all nonsense. But if you actually talk only Krsna's words, then you become a guru. It's not very difficult
- If you want to conquer over this unconquerable Krsna, then, according to the prayer of Brahma and appreciated by Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu: "You remain in your place, it doesn't matter, but you become very humble. Don't be puffed up"
- If you want to enjoy senses, they are not very easily available. It is said that unless you become industrious, laborious, you cannot enjoy even this material world

- Suppose you have taken too much milk and you become diseased, dysentery, could not digest, have taken too much sweetrice or rabri, so there is dysentery. That must be there. Too much eating will cause. So amayah, amayah means mucus or disease

- Temporarily I may become very rich or poor, it doesn't matter. But people are being taught, "Oh, you are poor? You become rich.'' That's all
- That grhamedhi, grhastha - appearing like the same. But grhastha means no dictation of the sense. Then you become gosvami

- This brahmanda is the creation of Brahma. He is called one of the demigods. So Krsna says, aham adir hi devanam, "I am the beginning of the devatas, demigods." So if you study Krsna in this way, then you become daiva, divine
- This eagerness is wanted. Then you can see God. Either you become lusty or a thief or a murderer or whatever it may be. Some way or other, if you develop this eagerness, that "I must see Krsna," then Krsna will be seen

- Ultimately, you become so-called healthy or not healthy, you'll die, that is the fact; so we do not want that kind of healthy life

- Very simple thing, that you are part and parcel of God. God is eternal. So if you understand God, then you become eternal

- We are existing. We have come out triumphant. They could not do anything. So the Hare Krsna movement is so strong, and indirectly, directly, or some way or other, if you chant Hare Krsna, you become benefited
- We are preaching this. We don't say that you become one of us. You chant the holy name of the Lord, that's all
- We are propagating, teaching people how to love God. That is our mission. We don't say that you become Christian or Hindu or Muslim . . . No. You become a lover of God. So comparatively, the process which we are recommending, that is the easiest process

- We give all facilities to everyone without any distinction that - You come with us. Come in our temple, chant Hare Krsna mantra, and take little prasadam, refreshment, and gradually you become purified

- What is the difference between crazy and sane man? They keep nice behavior, therefore they are sane man. And if you put to you nonsense behavior, then you become crazy
- What Krsna has said. That's all. Don't make addition, alteration. Then you become rascal
- What the acarya says, if you follow, then you become perfect. Tad viddhi pranipatena pariprasnena sevaya
- Whatever it may be, I require your help to understand it. Therefore you become my guru. If I require your help to understand something, that is guru. And you say there is no need of guru. Then why you are taking trouble to teach me this nonsense
- When God says, "Let there be creation," millions of planets, immediately created. That is God. Not that cheap God, "I am God." In your country they come, and you become cheated. We don't accept such cheap God
- When the hog enjoys senses without any discrimination, you become attracted: "Very nice. Why not get this facility?" That is your fault - you become attracted
- When we ask our students that "You become free from all these four classes of sinful activity: no illicit sex, no meat-eating," people laugh, "Oh, why you are asking?" They do not know what is the ideal man
- When we become free from these designations, sarvopadhi-vinirmuktam tat-paratvena nirmalam. And you become purified, nirmala. Mal means dirt and nirmala means without any dirt, without any dirty things, simply spiritual
- When you are able to stop this pinching in your heart by these two modes of material nature, passion and greediness - tada ceta etair anaviddham sthitam sattve prasidati-prasidati - then you become joyful
- When you are perfect in chanting and hearing, then you'll always remember Krsna. That means in the third stage you become the greatest yogi
- When you are too much influenced with the modes of passion, you become lusty. And when your lust is not fulfilled, then you are angry

- When you become fully eliminated of this bodily concept of life, then nirmalam. He becomes nirmala, uncontaminated

- Whomever you meet, you simply speak to him the instruction of Krsna. Then you become guru. And if you don't say that, if you manufacture your own words, then you are cheater, you are not teacher
- "Why you are rotting in prison? You become good citizen." Now, suppose the head of the state goes to the prison and "Oh, he is also a prisoner. The head of the state who has come to instruct, he is also one of the prisoners, like us."
- Why does He (God) give sanction for our sinful activities? Because we want to do it. Because we want to do it. God does not want that you become implicated in sinful life
- Why have we taken so much land (in Mayapur)? Those who are seriously desirous - they will come and live with us. Association is very influential. If you associate with drunkards, you become drunk; if you associate with sadhus, then you become a sadhu

- Without Krsna's sanction, you cannot do anything. Therefore first of all you desire, and Krsna gives you sanction to fulfill your desire. And as you, you fulfill your desire, you become complicated with the reaction of your desire

- You are distributing this knowledge, so you become immediately recognized, very dear servant, very confidential servant of Krsna. He says personally - Amongst the human beings, those who are doing this preaching, nobody is dearer than these persons to Me
- You are thinking like that. "If it would have been like this, if it would have been like this." Therefore kanksa, akanksa. So if you become transcendentally situated, brahma-bhuta, there will be no more akanksa
- You become a guru at your home. It is not that you have to make a gigantic show of becoming guru. The father has to become guru, the mother has to become guru
- You become engladdened, you become joyful, by discharging devotional service. And the knots, you will be no more interested with this rascal life of material existence
- You become father of hundreds children. But don't produce cats and dogs. Then there will be unwanted population, problem, fight, no peace, no tranquillity. Everything, all, it will be hell
- You become Krsna conscious; then you become fully aware of everything. Otherwise you remain rascal, fools, gadha, asses. If you prefer to remain asses, you can do so, but we are servant of Krsna. We must preach real, reality
- You become surrendered to Krsna. That is real religion. All others, cheating religion, that's all. Dharmam tu saksad bhagavat-pranitam - SB 6.3.19
- You become the greatest mahatma: "Oh, Krsna is everything." Then you surrender. You have to surrender-today or tomorrow or many millions of births after. You have to do that. Otherwise, you'll be troubled by the laws of material nature

- You can have a permanent life, permanent dress, permanent knowledge, if you become free from this dress-changing problem. That is called mukti. The Krsna consciousness movement is to stop this business of dress changing
- You chant Hare Krsna and hear. Immediately you become benefited, immediately, and you get ecstasy. So our humble request is that this is very simple process, recommended process, approved process, and experimental process
- You do not study all these things. You become initiated . . . there are ten kinds of offenses. Do you have any regard for these things or not? You must avoid these ten kinds of offenses. The first offense is to disobey the orders of guru

- You have committed theft. This is sinful activities. And you are put into the jail for six months. That does not mean that you become an honest man. That does not mean. So it is something like that. To clear the muddy water, put another lump of mud on it
- You have got freedom. You may serve the Lord, you may not serve. That is your freedom. But if you serve the Lord, then you become happy. If you do not serve the Lord, then you become unhappy
- You may be very big prime minister or anything, but as soon as maya will dictate, "Please vacate your post and go away," you become a dog. You have to become. How you can challenge prakrti? That is not possible
- You may carry the message (Always think of Krsna, worship Krsna, offer flower to krsna and chant Hare Krsna). If he's fortunate, he'll do it. Even he does not do it, you are carrying the message, you become recognized by Krsna

- You needn't become God. You, simply if you become in the light of God, you become joyful. Just like from the darkness of night, if you simply come to the sunshine, immediately your position is changed. It does not require that you have to become the sun
