- A devotee of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu must engage in preaching in order to increase the followers of the Lord. By thus preaching actual Vedic knowledge all over the world, one will benefit all mankind

- The whole idea is to preach the cult of Lord Caitanya who desired to bestow upon every living being the highest benefit by transcendental love of Godhead, which alone can bring in peace in the world
- The word sravayet indicates that one should not only read for himself, but should also induce others to read and hear. That is called preaching. Caitanya Mahaprabhu recommended this practice
