- A brahmana can serve the Lord by using his intelligence, and the ksatriya can serve the Supreme Lord by using his military arts, just as Arjuna served Krsna. Arjuna was a warrior; he had no time to study Vedanta or other highly intellectual books
- A devotee has no demand. He simply engages himself to serve Krsna for the satisfaction of Krsna
- A devotee has no other ambition than to serve Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead

- Because He (Nityananda Prabhu) always remembered Radha-Krsna and Their service, this was transcendental madness. Sri Advaita Acarya was pointing out this fact
- Because he has no other alternative. Either he has to serve this way or serve that way. If he is not attracted to serve in Krsna consciousness, then he has to serve in material consciousness
- Because I am part and parcel of Krsna, so everything belongs to Krsna. Therefore, with my hands, with my legs, with my eyes, I cannot do anything except serving Krsna

- Cara means the moving animals, especially the cows. When Krsna was present, He delivered all the trees, monkeys and other plants and animals who happened to see Him and serve Him, both in Vrndavana and in Dvaraka

- Comfortable situation is also sense gratification. Any situation, we have to serve Krsna. That is Krsna consciousness. Not that, "If it is comfortable to me, I shall do it." That is sense gratification

- Daivi-maya asritah, as soon as we become under the shelter of daivi-maya, then our business becomes bhajanty ananya-manasah: simply serving Krsna, no other business
- Deity worship should be practiced by everyone. That cleanses the contaminated body. It is the custom that before entering one must be cleansed & bathe himself regularly. The whole idea is that we must very much sincere in our activities to serve Krishna
- Devotee means pure devotee, anyabhilasita-sunyam, without any other desires. Devotee means he wants to serve Krsna, that's all. Not that in return he wants something. He is devotee. Devotion is not business

- Either you call Krsna or Jehovah, or whatever name you like, you give, but God is one. So if you simply become to this consciousness, that "I am eternal servant of God, and my business is to serve God..."
- Enthusiasm must be maintained under all circumstance. That is our price for entering into Krsna's kingdom. And maya is always trying to take away our enthusiasm to serve Krsna, because without enthusiasm everything else is finished
- Even big, big advanced spiritually sannyasi, they are thinking that - I am Krsna. I am Krsna. Why shall I go to serve Krsna? This is slave mentality. Just become Krsna. I am Krsna
- Even if he (a devotee) has got great amount of wealth, good qualification, everything, he thinks that, - These things are Krsna's. I am His servant. I have got the opportunity to serve Him with this qualification
- Even we offer Krsna prayer with broken languages, because Krsna is Absolute, Krsna will accept it. Bhava-grahi, bhava-grahi-janardana. Janardana, Krsna, sees how much your heart is pure for serving Krsna. Krsna does not see the wording of your prayer
- Even without becoming master He (Krsna) is providing everything. Even though those who do not accept Him, He is also giving them. What to speak of those who have accepted Him? This is very simple philosophy. It is His position to accept service
- Eventually one will become exasperated by using one's senses. Ultimately one will become senseless. Therefore Krsna says, sarva-dharman parityajya mam ekam saranam vraja (BG 18.66): "Don't act like this. Your senses are meant for serving Me
- Every living entity is eternal servant of Krsna. Therefore unless he comes to the platform of serving Krsna, there is no question of happiness. There is no question of happiness

- Every one of them would get release from material existence. Since such is the benefit of those who played with the Lord inimically, one can imagine what would be the position of those who devoutly served the Lord in transcendental relationship with Him

- For a servant of Krishna, there is no distinction of hell and heaven. Our only ambition should be to serve the Lord

- Go on with Krsna consciousness, the simple method. So there is no question of falldown. Bhakti-vasana sad-bhavat. Bhakti-vasana, this desire that, "I'll serve Krsna," this desire is sufficient to keep him, I mean to say, intact
- God is Krsna. That is my magic. I don't bluff people. Here is God. See God, be with God, serve God. That's my business

- He (a devotee) will want to serve the Lord by assisting Him in controlling the cows in the pasturing ground
- He (a guru) must have heard thoroughly about the Vedas from his spiritual master. Generally a guru's symptom is that he is a perfect devotee, that's all. And he serves Krsna by preaching His message

- He can understand whether you are sincerely serving or with some motive you are serving. Even with a motive you serve Krsna, it will never go in vain. Krsna is so kind

- Krsna has to satisfy them all. He does not need any help from these devotees, but because they want to serve Him in a particular way, the Lord reciprocates. These sixteen thousand devotees wanted Krsna as their husband, and therefore Krsna agreed

- Srimati Kunti wanted to serve the Lord without diversion, and that was her prayer. This unalloyed devotion is the ultimate goal of life
- Such desire may seem to be a desire for enjoying the Lord, but actually the endeavor is to serve the Lord in that capacity. For example, a devotee may be desiring to associate with the Personality of Godhead as His cowherd friend

- We are all sold to Krishna and we have no other business but His service. That should be our determination
- We are meant for serving Krsna, but we have rebelled: "Why shall I serve Krsna? I shall serve my senses. I shall remain independent without Krsna."
- We are Russian, and the Russian must exceed the Americans - "Americans must exceed . . ." This is going on, on the platform of designation. When we change the platform and we simply desire how to serve Krsna, that is desirelessness

- We cannot increase our attachment for Krsna without Krsna's mercy. We cannot become devotees without Krsna's mercy; therefore we simply have to serve Krsna, for by service Krsna is satisfied
