- A brahmana can serve the Lord by using his intelligence, and the ksatriya can serve the Supreme Lord by using his military arts, just as Arjuna served Krsna. Arjuna was a warrior; he had no time to study Vedanta or other highly intellectual books
- A devotee has no demand. He simply engages himself to serve Krsna for the satisfaction of Krsna
- A devotee has no other ambition than to serve Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- A devotee is concerned only with serving Krsna positively and seriously

- Because He (Nityananda Prabhu) always remembered Radha-Krsna and Their service, this was transcendental madness. Sri Advaita Acarya was pointing out this fact
- Because he has no other alternative. Either he has to serve this way or serve that way. If he is not attracted to serve in Krsna consciousness, then he has to serve in material consciousness
- Because I am part and parcel of Krsna, so everything belongs to Krsna. Therefore, with my hands, with my legs, with my eyes, I cannot do anything except serving Krsna
- Because maya is the servant of Krsna, anyone serving maya serves Krsna indirectly

- Buddhist philosophy, they make the ultimate goal zero, and these Mayavadis, they also make the ultimate goal zero. They do not understand that there is life, blissful life, by serving Krsna
- But the devotee in full knowledge is considered to be very dear to the Lord because his only purpose is to serve the Supreme Lord with love and devotion. Such a devotee cannot live a second without contacting or serving the Supreme Lord. BG 1972 purports
- By following in the footsteps of such associates and by entering under their eternal guidance, one can acquire an intense desire to serve the Supreme Personality of Godhead

- Caitanya Mahaprabhu begins His philosophy from this point, that jivera svarupa haya nitya-krsna-dasa: "The real constitutional position of all living entities is to serve Krsna." This is constitutional position
- Caitanya Mahaprabhu, by the example of His actual life, taught vipralambha-seva, service of Krsna in separation. Tears would come from His eyes like torrents of rain, for He would feel everything to be vacant for want of Krsna
- Cara means the moving animals, especially the cows. When Krsna was present, He delivered all the trees, monkeys and other plants and animals who happened to see Him and serve Him, both in Vrndavana and in Dvaraka
- Chanting Hare Krsna mantra, not for any profit. But go on serving Him. That's all. Material calculation, - Now, this much I have profited
- Chanting of Hare Krsna with 108 beads means that we are surpassing the study of 108 Upanisads. Another meaning is that there are 108 damsels who served Krsna with all respect at Vrndavana. So that is also another explanation, 108
- Comfortable situation is also sense gratification. Any situation, we have to serve Krsna. That is Krsna consciousness. Not that, "If it is comfortable to me, I shall do it." That is sense gratification

- Daivi-maya asritah, as soon as we become under the shelter of daivi-maya, then our business becomes bhajanty ananya-manasah: simply serving Krsna, no other business
- Deity worship should be practiced by everyone. That cleanses the contaminated body. It is the custom that before entering one must be cleansed & bathe himself regularly. The whole idea is that we must very much sincere in our activities to serve Krishna
- Devotee means pure devotee, anyabhilasita-sunyam, without any other desires. Devotee means he wants to serve Krsna, that's all. Not that in return he wants something. He is devotee. Devotion is not business
- Devotional service is also called bhagavata-dharma. Without material aspirations, one should simply serve Krsna, as advised in Bhagavad-gita, Narada Pancaratra and Srimad-Bhagavatam

- Either you call Krsna or Jehovah, or whatever name you like, you give, but God is one. So if you simply become to this consciousness, that "I am eternal servant of God, and my business is to serve God..."
- Enthusiasm must be maintained under all circumstance. That is our price for entering into Krsna's kingdom. And maya is always trying to take away our enthusiasm to serve Krsna, because without enthusiasm everything else is finished
- Even big, big advanced spiritually sannyasi, they are thinking that - I am Krsna. I am Krsna. Why shall I go to serve Krsna? This is slave mentality. Just become Krsna. I am Krsna
- Even if he (a devotee) has got great amount of wealth, good qualification, everything, he thinks that, - These things are Krsna's. I am His servant. I have got the opportunity to serve Him with this qualification
- Even we offer Krsna prayer with broken languages, because Krsna is Absolute, Krsna will accept it. Bhava-grahi, bhava-grahi-janardana. Janardana, Krsna, sees how much your heart is pure for serving Krsna. Krsna does not see the wording of your prayer
- Even without becoming master He (Krsna) is providing everything. Even though those who do not accept Him, He is also giving them. What to speak of those who have accepted Him? This is very simple philosophy. It is His position to accept service
- Eventually one will become exasperated by using one's senses. Ultimately one will become senseless. Therefore Krsna says, sarva-dharman parityajya mam ekam saranam vraja (BG 18.66): "Don't act like this. Your senses are meant for serving Me
- Every living entity is eternal servant of Krsna. Therefore unless he comes to the platform of serving Krsna, there is no question of happiness. There is no question of happiness
- Every living entity is part and parcel of the Supreme Lord, and therefore it is the duty of every living entity to serve that supreme whole. Without such service, the living entity falls into material contamination
- Every one of them would get release from material existence. Since such is the benefit of those who played with the Lord inimically, one can imagine what would be the position of those who devoutly served the Lord in transcendental relationship with Him
- Everyone can serve Krsna provided he is qualified. And what is that qualification?

- For a servant of Krishna, there is no distinction of hell and heaven. Our only ambition should be to serve the Lord
- For his doing so (Arjuna changing his decision to serve Krsna) so, he became a famous devotee of the Lord, for it is declared in all the scriptures that Arjuna attained spiritual perfection by devotional service to the Lord in friendship
- For our original characteristic, that we are eternal servant of God, Krsna, if we are situated in that platform or eternal platform, serving Krsna, that is mukti. Mukti means give up the false conception of life and take the real conception of life
- For their return to the Vaikuntha world, it was arranged that Jaya & Vijaya, for three consecutive births, would act as deadly enemies of the Lord & that at the end of these lives they would return to the Vaikuntha world & serve Him as His associates
- For those working in Krsna consciousness, there are simply not enough hours in the day to serve Krsna. There are always activities, engagements both day and night, which the student of Krsna consciousness performs joyfully
- From his very birth, Uddhava was a natural devotee of Lord Krsna, or a nitya-siddha, a liberated soul. From natural instinct he used to serve Lord Krsna, even in his childhood

- Go on with Krsna consciousness, the simple method. So there is no question of falldown. Bhakti-vasana sad-bhavat. Bhakti-vasana, this desire that, "I'll serve Krsna," this desire is sufficient to keep him, I mean to say, intact
- God is Krsna. That is my magic. I don't bluff people. Here is God. See God, be with God, serve God. That's my business

- He (a devotee) will want to serve the Lord by assisting Him in controlling the cows in the pasturing ground
- He (a guru) must have heard thoroughly about the Vedas from his spiritual master. Generally a guru's symptom is that he is a perfect devotee, that's all. And he serves Krsna by preaching His message
- He (a person in the renounced order) should show all respect to others, but should not expect respect for himself. In this way, one should chant the holy name of the Lord and think of how to serve Radha and Krsna in Vrndavana

- He (the advanced devotee) should be certain that Krsna will bestow His mercy upon him (asa-bandhah), and he should always be very eager to serve the Lord faithfully - samutkantha

- Krsna is Brahman, or spirit, and I am also Brahman, but He's the Supreme Brahman, while I am minute Brahman. So my business is to serve Krsna

- That is sadhu, who has no other business than to serve Krsna. He is sadhu

- We are all sold to Krishna and we have no other business but His service. That should be our determination
- We are meant for serving Krsna, but we have rebelled: "Why shall I serve Krsna? I shall serve my senses. I shall remain independent without Krsna."
- We are Russian, and the Russian must exceed the Americans - "Americans must exceed . . ." This is going on, on the platform of designation. When we change the platform and we simply desire how to serve Krsna, that is desirelessness

- We cannot destroy family. But on one condition we can become free from all this obligation. What is that? Gatah sarabyam parihrtya kartum. Saranyam. Mukunda-caranam. One who has dedicated his life simply to serve Mukunda

- We have to serve Krsna, and we are subordinate. He is supplying our necessities. He is the Supreme Father. This life is normal life and liberated life. Any other life, beyond this conception of Krsna consciousness, that is sinful life
- We living entities, we being part and parcel of God, Krsna, our only business is to serve Krsna. We have no other business
