- A devotee in an immature position of devotional service may, if offered great opulence, fall from his position due to being in the material world, the Lord (Krsna) does not offer opulence to him
- A devotee is to offer to Krsna foodstuffs prepared from vegetables. If the Supreme Lord wanted foodstuffs prepared from animal food, the devotee could offer this, but He does not order to do that
- A devotee knows that: "Whatever intelligence, I have got, I may try to become happy, if Krsna does not sanction, I'll never be happy." This is the distinction between devotee and nondevotee

- Krsna did not think it wise to kill him (untouchable king) directly with His own hand. Still the king had to be killed, & therefore Krsna decided with fine discretion that He should flee from the battlefield so that the untouchable king would chase Him
- Krsna did not want Vrndavana disturbed by enemies like Dantavakra and Jarasandha. If Krsna were to go to Vrndavana, these enemies would not only attack Mathura but would go on to Vrndavana, and the peaceful inhabitants of Vrndavana would be disturbed

- Lord Krishna killed his own dynasty under His personal supervision. So certainly Krishna didn't like the idea that future dynasties would be able to identify having Krishna's blood. Krishna has no material blood; neither He is different from His body

- No, we are not to satisfy the authorities. We have to satisfy Krsna. Just like Arjuna. He wanted to satisfy his family members, but Krsna did not like that

- O Partha, I speak to you the truth. The gopis are My helpers, teachers, disciples, servants, friends and consorts. I do not know what they are not to Me
- Once an old mendicant approached the door of Mother Yasoda's house, and Krsna told Yasoda, "My dear Mother, I don't wish to go near this skinny villain. If I go there, he might put Me within his begging bag and take Me away from You!"

- Prahlada Maharaja was chastised by his father, Hiranyakasipu, in so many ways, but although Prahlada tolerated this, Krsna did not. The Lord therefore came in the form of Nrsimhadeva to kill Hiranyakasipu

- Radha and Krsna are transcendental to such artistic work, they do not depend upon our painting of them for their beauty. But they should be painted as nicely as possible if there is at present some deterioration of the painting
- Radha said, "He has five arrows, and fixing them on His bow, He shoots them into the bodies of innocent women. Thus these women become invalids. It would be better if He took My life without hesitation, but He does not do so. He simply gives Me pain"
- Radharani continued, "The only physician for this disease is Krsna Himself, but He is not taking care of this sprouting plant of devotional service. What can I say about the behavior of Krsna"
- Rukmini continued, "Although You (Krsna) do not possess anything, the great demigods who accept prayers and worship from others come and worship You to solicit Your mercy. How can You be categorized among the poor"
- Rukmini continued, "My dear lotus-eyed husband, You are self-satisfied. You do not care whether or not I am beautiful or qualified; You are not at all concerned about it. Therefore Your non attachment for me is not at all astonishing; it is quite natural"
- Rukmini continued, "Unlike others, You (Krsna) do not require to purchase anything extraneously. With You all contrary things can be adjusted because You are absolute. You do not possess anything, but no one is richer than You"
- Rukmini was the daughter of King Bhismaka, a powerful king. Thus Krsna did not address her as Rukmini; He addressed her this time as the princess. "My dear princess, it is very surprising. Many great personalities in the royal order wanted to marry you"

- Sahadeva said, "Because His (Krsna's) transcendental body is full of knowledge and bliss in eternity, He doesn't undergo the six kinds of material changes - birth, existence, growth, production, dwindling and vanishing"
- Since Krsna is prepared to give Himself personally to His devotee, there is nothing wonderful in giving some material riches. Of course, He does not give much material wealth to His devotee if the devotee is not very much fixed
- Sisupala continued: "Krsna does not belong to a high family. He is so independent that no one knows His principles of religious life. Indeed, it appears that He is outside the jurisdiction of all religious principles"
- Sisupala said, "We cannot even ascertain which caste this Krsna belongs to or what His actual occupational duty is." Actually, Krsna does not belong to any caste, nor does He have to perform any occupational duty"
- Somebody's identifying with this body, somebody's identifying with the society or community or nation or country. But Krsna does not become such materially affected. Vijnanena vijrmbhitah. He's always conscious

- Srimati Radharani used to lament, "'Our Krsna does not realize what We have suffered from injuries inflicted in the course of loving affairs. We are actually misused by love because love does not know where to strike and where not to strike"'
- Srimati Radharani's ecstasy also made Her think of Krsna as Cupid, and this understanding frightened Her. She said, "This Cupid, who has conquered the whole world and entered My heart, is My greatest enemy, for He does not allow Me to forget Him"

- That is not very essential. Essential is how to think of Krsna. Krsna says, man-mana bhava mad-bhaktah. He doesn't say that you become vegetarian
- That we are dependent is not very difficult to understand. If Krsna does not supply us food, we shall starve, because independently we cannot produce anything
- That yathecchasi tatha kuru is already said. You use your intelligence. If you prefer to remain rascal, you remain. Krsna does not say that, - Don't use your intelligence
- The Absolute is personal, but He is independent. He does not require to personally take a brush and colors to paint the flowers, for His potencies act so wonderfully that it appears as if flowers have come into being without the aid of an artist
- The boys did not know this (that the serpent was a demon), however, and thus while Krsna was planning how to stop the destruction of His intimate friends, all the boys along with their calves entered the mouth of the serpent. But Krsna did not enter
- The comparison made here (in CC Madhya 20.384) is very interesting. Krsna does not grow like an ordinary human being, even though He exhibits His pastimes of childhood, boyhood and pre-youth

- The Lord (Krsna) is so kind that He does not show special favor only to one who is a great philosopher. He knows the sincerity of purpose. For this reason only, women generally assemble in great number in any sort of religious function
- The Lord appears in a particular family or place by His inconceivable potency. He does not take His birth as a conditioned soul quits his body and accepts another body
- The Lord can give liberation (mukti) very easily, but He does not very easily give one bhakti-yoga, because by that process He is bound to the devotee
- The Lord can tolerate insults upon Himself by any miscreant because the father tolerates even insults from the son. But He never tolerates insults upon His devotees
- The Lord did not need to live within the womb of Devaki, for His presence within the core of her heart was sufficient to carry Him
- The Lord does not change His original transcendental position, but He appears to be differently manifested according to the particular time, circumstances and society
- The Lord does not create this material world at anyone's request, and therefore He can annihilate everything merely by His will. That is His supremacy
- The Lord does not have a material body, yet He descends among human beings in His transcendental body as an incarnation. Therefore it is very difficult for us to understand who is an incarnation
- The Lord does not want His sons, the living beings, to suffer the threefold miseries of life. He desires that all of them come to Him and live with Him, but going back to Godhead means that one must purify himself from material infections
- The Lord's detachment from household life does not indicate detachment from His (Krsna's) eternal associates, the transcendental cowherd damsels. But the Lord desired to end His so-called attachment to the three modes of material nature
- The material conception of ego is equibalanced in Him (Lord Krsna). He does not feel, therefore, inferior by becoming the chariot driver of His pure devotee
- The message (by Paundraka to Krsna) contained the following statements, "If out of Your (Krsna's) gross impudence You do not care for my words, then I challenge You to fight. I am inviting You to a battle in which the decision will be settled"
- The modern fashion is that they want to become God by meditation, by advancement of mystic power. But that kind of God is not Krsna. Krsna does not become God; He's God always. Others, they try to become God by mystic power
- The more we engage in Krsna consciousness and render service unto the Lord, the more we benefit. Krsna does not need service from any of us
- The original Krsna does not go anywhere; He never takes a step away from Vrndavana. The other activities performed by Krsna are performed in the Vasudeva, Sankarsana, Aniruddha or Pradyumna forms
- The Personified Vedas prayed: My Lord, You are unlimited, and no one has estimated the extent of Your potencies. I think that even You do not know the range of Your potential energies
- The Radharani is the manifestation of Krsna's pleasure potency. Krsna, when He wants to enjoy, He does not enjoy anything material. He expands His energy, potency. That is Radharani

- The Supreme Being, Parabrahman, certainly does not seek His happiness anywhere in the material world. Nor can His paraphernalia of happiness be found in the material world. He is not impersonal
- The Supreme Personality of Godhead does not come directly in touch with this prakrti, but the form by which He touches this prakrti, that is Lord Siva
- The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Krsna, works just like an ordinary human being, yet He does not desire to enjoy the fruits of work. He is full in knowledge, free from material desires and diversions, and completely independent
- The tendency of the conditioned living entity is to come down from the heights where everything can be seen in perspective. God, however, does not have this tendency
- The ultimate purpose of Veda is to understand Krsna. - Vedais ca sarvair aham eva vedyam (BG 15.15). So Krsna or the sadhu and sastra does not stop your material activities. Because you have to act materially so long you have got this material body
- The weapon called brahmastra, released by Asvatthama, was neutralized and foiled by Lord Sri Krsna by His own energy; that is to say, He did not wait for any other's help because He is absolute

- This incident of the fight between the ultimate weapons of Lord Siva and Lord Krsna proves that if Krsna gives someone protection, no one can kill him, and if Krsna does not give one protection, no one can save him
- This is Vaisnava. He is ready to excuse even the greatest enemy. But Krsna does not want. If you insult His devotee, the devotee may excuse, but Krsna will not excuse. This is Krsna's position
- This material life is a concession to us, given by God, for gratifying our senses. This is material life. Krsna does not want that you become entangled in this material world. That He doesn't want. Why He should want?
- This material world is existing on one plenary portion of Krsna. If Krsna didn't enter this universe, it could not exist. Similarly, unless the spirit soul, which is a fragmental portion of Krsna, enters this body, this body cannot exist
- Those who are thinking that we are sectarian, they're wrong, because Krsna does not belong to any sect
- To say nothing of one universal mustard seed, even if all the universes and the material energy (maya) are destroyed, Krsna does not even consider the loss

- Uddhava continued, "He (Krsna) does not appear in higher or lower species of life like ordinary living entities, who are forced to take birth on account of their previous fruitive activities"
- Uddhava continued, "He (Krsna) does not have a material body like us; He never appears or takes birth like an ordinary human being"
- Unless one faithfully chants the Hare Krsna mantra, Krsna does not reveal Himself

- We are compelled to take birth because of Krsna's external, material energy, but Krsna is not controlled by the maya, or energy, of anyone else, and therefore He does not take birth in such a condition
- We are compelled to take birth. Krsna does not take birth in such condition. Atma-mayaya. Because maya is under the control of Krsna. So how maya can control Krsna? One who thinks that Krsna is also like us, controlled by maya, they are called mudhas
- We are flattering Laksmiji, "Give me some favor," but Krsna doesn't flatter anyone. Sometimes He does out of love to Radharani. That Laksmi is Radharani. Therefore She is the topmost of all Laksmis. So why Krsna will be beggar, daridra
- We can see that it is the desire of the pure devotee. Whatever Krsna wants, He does not have to work at all. His desires are immediately fulfilled simply by His desiring
- We cannot be called Bhagavan because our power is very limited, not purna. Therefore we become saguna. Krsna does not become saguna. The Mayavada theory, that God, when He incarnates, He becomes saguna, that is wrong theory
- We conditioned living entities transmigrate from one body to another because we are forced to do so by the laws of nature, but Krsna does not appear because He is forced. That is the difference
- We should always remember, Krishna is always full in Himself; He does not want a pinch of our help for his satisfaction, but if we try to satisfy Him in so many ways as directed by acaryas and scriptures, indirectly we become benefited by such activities
- We take our birth because we are bound by our karma, but Krsna, being fully independent, does not come because of someone else's request or because of karma. Rather, He comes by His own free will - atma-mayaya
- We want to see with our material eyes, therefore we claim this, that "I want to see Krsna." He does not accept that he has no eyes to see Krsna. But with our blunt eyes, we want to see Krsna
- What else is there to say about the residential house of the Pandavas? Sri Krsna, the Lord of everything, acted as your minister. He used to enter that house as if it were His own, and He did not take any care of Duryodhana's house
- When Duryodhana left in such an angry mood, everyone regretted the incident, and King Yudhisthira also was very sorry. But despite all these occurrences, Krsna was silent. He did not say anything against or in favor of the incident
- When He (Krsna) reaches the age of pre-youth, kaisora, He does not grow any older. He simply remains in His kaisora age. He is therefore described in the Brahma-samhita (BS 5.38) as nava-yauvana
- When Krsna comes on this earth, He is not like us; He is totally transcendental. We desire the fruits of our activities, but Krsna does not desire any fruits, nor are there any reactions to His actions
- When Krsna comes within this material world, He does not become affected by the qualities, as we become. Therefore, those who are mudhas, those who are fools, they consider that Krsna is also a human being

- When something is offered to the Lord it is for the benefit of the devotee, for the Lord does not need service from anyone. To give an example, if one's face is decorated, the reflection of one's face in a mirror is also seen to be decorated
- When the untouchable king seized the city of Mathura, Krsna did not think it wise to kill him directly with His own hand
- Whenever Krsna is requested to fulfill one's desire, He undoubtedly does so, but He does not award anything which, after being enjoyed, will cause one to petition Him again and again to fulfill further desires

- While Lord Krsna was speaking in the garb of a brahmana along with Arjuna and Bhima, Jarasandha marked that the three of them did not appear to be actual brahmanas
- Why are devotees of the demigods greater in number than the Vaisnavas? The answer is given herein (SB 10.10.2-3). Vaisnavas are not interested in such fourth-class pleasures as wine and women, nor does Krsna allow them such facilities
- Why did He (Krsna) not chastise the Kurus immediately?" When Draupadi was insulted in the assembly by the Kurus by their attempt to see her naked in the presence of all, the Lord protected Draupadi by supplying an unlimited length of clothing
- Why does Krsna give us permission to do something wrong? He does so because we persist. Actually He does not tell us to do anything other than surrender unto Him. We want to do something, & Krsna may sanction it, but we go ahead & do it at our own risk
- With our limited knowledge we cannot understand the unlimited; indeed, even Krsna does not understand Himself

- Yes, He (Lord Krsna) does not need come here, but if He comes here, we cannot object. We cannot object. We cannot say that He cannot come here. He is free. He is svayambhu; He is fully independent
- You don't sleep. Never Krsna said to Arjuna that "I am your friend. I am God. You sleep here. (laughter) I'll do everything." No! "You must fight." That is wanted. Yuddhyasva mam anusmara "You fight and remember Me. Then I'll do everything"
- You should dress yourself always very nicely so that Krishna by seeing you will be pleased. Don't try to be ugly before Krishna. Krishna does not like ugly gopis
- You should give all protection to this important animal. Krsna does not say that you should protect the pigs and hogs or other animals. He especially meant the cows, because cow is very important animal to the human society
- You wanted to dance like this, He (Krsna) is giving facility. He is not in agreement with you. Otherwise, why does He say: "You give up all this nonsense. Surrender"? He does not approve, but he wanted to dance, - All right, you take the facility, dance
