- The following of Krsna's dictation is real yoga, and this is practiced in the process called Krsna consciousness. By Krsna consciousness only can one give up the sense of proprietorship. BG 1972 purports
- The individual person is the proprietor or master of his own body but that Krsna, who is the Supersoul present in everyone's heart, is the supreme proprietor and supreme master of each and every individual body

- Yayati enthroned his youngest son, Puru, as the emperor of the entire world and the proprietor of all its riches, and he placed all the other sons, who were older than Puru, under Puru's control
- You (carpenter) have done it as a worker, and you have been supplied with everything, your intelligence, your food, your instrument, your ingredient. Therefore the supplier should be the proprietor, not the carpenter. That is real philosophy

- You supposing that it is your proprietorship, you are the proprietor of everything, but you sacrifice, yajnarthe. Yajnarthe means "for the Supreme Lord." So many sacrifices are recommended in various scriptures
