I think it would be very difficult to explain the meaning of having a bald head, and by saying somebody's got a bald head, the reason for this is, there seems to be some cleanliness and so on, and to explain why people wear clothes like this. It's impossible, surely, to explain the reasons for these things without describing them in the first place.

Prabhupāda: Explain . . . any group of men, they have got a particular type of dress—the military dress, the police dress—so people can understand that, "Here is a police." Similarly, by this dress they will chant "Hare Kṛṣṇa!" immediately.
