- Vedic civilization recommends that a woman stay under the protection of a man. During childhood she should be cared for by her father, in youth by her husband, and in old age by a grown son. In any stage of life, a woman should not have independence
- Vedic literatures like Isopanisad direct that since everything belongs to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, one should not encroach upon another's property, but should enjoy one's individual allotment
- Vedic training dictates that when a man is in his boyhood he should be trained in the process of brahmacarya; that is, he should be completely engaged in the service of the Lord and should not in any way associate with women
- Voluntarily we have accepted this material body, but actually we are spirit souls who should not have accepted it. When and how we accepted it cannot be traced. No one can trace the history of when the conditioned soul first accepted the material body
- Vyasadeva, as the descendant of Parasara, a greatly powerful sage, had the privilege of having a great parentage which should not have given Vyasadeva cause for despondency
W
- We (members of the Bhagavata schools) should not take it for granted that because we cannot see God with our eyes the Lord has no personal existence
- We are acting on another's account - on the Supreme's account. We are not liable to loss or gain. When there is gain, we should not be puffed up. We should think, - This gain is for the Lord
- We can enjoy only what comes from Visnu as a token of His kindness. We must not enjoy anything that is not offered by Him. We should not make any extra effort to obtain anything which belongs to Him or others. That is the spirit of Vaisnavism
- We can stop this process of repeated change through birth and death. We can get our actual spiritual form again and be blissful, full of knowledge and eternal life. That is the purpose of evolution. We should not miss this
- We can understand things as they are if we receive the message of Urukrama, Krsna - if you give aural reception to the activities of Krsna. Therefore, you should not waste a moment even with nonsense talkings
- We cannot avoid violence, for we are put into a conditional life in which we have to commit violence, but we should not commit more violence than necessary or than ordered by the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- We feel pain when someone disturbs us, and therefore we should not inflict pain upon other living beings. Lord Buddha's mission was to stop unnecessary animal killing, and therefore he preached that the greatest religious principle is nonviolence
- We have previously discussed that the transcendentalist is required to be self-sufficient and should not beg from the rich blind persons to fulfill the bare necessities of life
- We have to commit violence; that is a natural law. We should not, however, commit violence extravagantly, but only as much as ordered by the Lord
- We have to learn from the proper person about Krsna's activities. We should not immediately try to understand Krsna's dealings with the gopis, for they are very confidential
- We must declare boldly to the whole world, that they should not foolishly dream of world peace unless they are prepared to surrender fully to Krishna as Supreme Lord
- We shall not expect that anywhere there is any Utopia. Rather, that is impersonalism. People should not expect that even in the Krishna Consciousness Society there will be Utopia
- We should always remember the maxim that one man's food is another man's poison. We should not, therefore, reject the stories and histories of the Puranas as imaginary
- We should be satisfied with those things which are meant for humanity. We should not simply... For the pleasure of the tongue we should not eat anything. That is called atyahara
- We should be satisfied with what God has supplied in the form of food, shelter, defense and sex, and should not want more and more and more. The best type of civilization is one that ascribes to the maxim of - plain living and high thinking
- We should not act in such a way that this imprisonment with this material body will continue birth after birth, either American body, Indian body, dog's body, hog's body, so many - 8,400,000's of body. That is called yoga
- We should not approach God as supplying agent. That is the lowest stage. He is supplying even to the cats and dogs. Then what is the difference between human being and the cats and dogs
- We should not aspire for happiness, or regret distress; we must be satisfied with the position allotted to us by the Lord
- We should not at once try to rise up to the raga-marga, or spontaneous. It is not an artificial thing

- We should not compare Narayana to anyone, what to speak of the poor man in the street (daridra). This is all foolishness
- We should not consider going back to Godhead a plaything. We must take it seriously, as enjoined in the scriptures. For a strict follower, the result is sure and certain, and when the time is right the result will come of its own force
- We should not consider Krsna's form to be imagined by some artist. He is described in the Vedas as venum kvanantam aravinda-dalayataksam - Bs. 5.30

- We should not consider them (Krsna's incarnations) to belong to this material world. As stated by Lord Krsna in the - Bhagavad-gita 9.11

- We should not depend on the fragmentary authority of materialistic science for knowing things beyond the range of scientific purview
- We should not die like cats and dogs. That is the difference. We may die. We must die. Nobody can escape death, but before death we must know what is self and self-realization
- We should not die like cats and dogs. We should die like brahmana. Even in one life a solution is not made, then you get next life opportunity

- We should not falsely claim that, "I am the supreme consciousness." That is another mistake. I am not the supreme consciousness
- We should not falsely claim which I am not. The most, I mean to say, prideful claim is that "I am God." This is strictly forbidden by our sampradaya that, "Don't claim."
- We should not foolishly accept the atheistic theory of creation. The description of the atheists is given in the Bhagavad-gita. The atheist does not believe in the creator, but he cannot give a good theory to explain the creation
- We should not foolishly claim that we are as great as the Supreme God. We should understand that we are like sparks of the original fire

- We should not forget the chanting of the Hare Krsna mantra under any circumstances. It will help us in the greatest danger, as we find in the life of Gajendra
- We should not give up anything. That is not Krsna consciousness. That is not advice of Lord Krsna in the Bhagavad-gita. He never says (to) Arjuna that "You give up this fighting and go to the Himalayas and sit down silently there to meditation

- We should not introduce anything whimsically, without the sanction of the bona fide spiritual master
- We should not jump over Krsna without the help of guru. That is not possible. You must go through. Because Krsna says, "Actually one who is serious to understand higher transcendental subject matter, he must approach guru." These are Vedic injunction
- We should not love Krsna for some material gain. It is not that we should say, - Krsna, give us our daily bread, and then I shall love You
- We should not love Krsna for some material gain. It is not that: "Krsna, give us our daily bread. Then I love You. Krsna, give me this. Then I love You." There is no such mercantile exchange. That is wanted. Krsna wants that kind of love
- We should not make any business with Krsna
- We should not make any particular distinction between the poor and the rich like the foolish worshipers of daridra-narayana. Narayana is present in the rich as well as the poor

- We should not mistakenly understand that He (The Lord) was born just like an ordinary living entity from the semen of Kardama Muni in the womb of Devahuti
- We should not misunderstand that Krsna is ordinary human being and He is enjoying like us. Completely different. Radharani is the manifestation of Krsna's pleasure potency. Parasya saktir vividhaiva sruyate
- We should not misuse it. Very responsible life. If you are misled, that is a dangerous civilization
