- A brother aware of the principles of religion follows in the footsteps of his elder brothers. Because of being highly elevated, such a pious brother gets the opportunity to associate and enjoy with demigods like the Maruts
- A human being can attain perfection in life by self-realization through the Vedic literature and its practical application. This is possible especially for a human being born in India, the land of piety

- Karma refers to the pious life or material activities performed during the day and the mental activities of dreams at night. These are more or less desired activities
- King Anga was a very pious king in this life, but because of his previous sinful activity he could not get a son. It is concluded, therefore, that if a person does not get a son it is due to his past sinful life

- That is called krta-yuga, age of krta, very pious age. So in those ages people used to live one hundred thousands of years, and they were very pure, there was no sinful activity

- The unsuccessful yogi, after many, many years of enjoyment on the planets of the pious living entities, is born into a family of righteous people, or into a family of rich aristocracy. BG 6.41 - 1972
- The Vedic language is called sruti. Sruti means hearing. It is not reading. Simply, pious students will hear from the right source. Evam parampara praptam imam rajarsayo viduh (BG 4.2). Simply by hearing, they will understand everything
