- A devotee of Krsna is very much attached to brahminical culture. Indeed, an expert personality who knows who Krsna is and what He wants is a real brahmana. Brahma janatiti brahmanah
- A knowledgeable person knows that when Krsna or His incarnation descends upon the material world, the Supreme Lord maintains His transcendental position. He is not an ordinary man, nor is He forced into the material world due to karma

- Caitanya Mahaprabhu recommends, yei krsna-tattva-vetta sei 'guru' haya (CC Madhya 8.128). Any person who knows about Krsna perfectly well, he is guru. That's all. He is guru. So we have to learn this science

- He who knows Me as the unborn, as the beginningless, as the Supreme Lord of all the worlds-he, undeluded among men, is freed from all sins. BG 10.3 - 1972

- I know that Supreme Personality of Godhead who is transcendental to all material conceptions of darkness. Only he who knows Him can transcend the bonds of birth and death. There is no way for liberation other than this knowledge of that Supreme Person
- If because of laziness one does not come to know Krsna conclusively, one will be misguided about the cult of devotion, like those who declare themselves advanced devotees and imitate the transcendental symptoms sometimes observed in liberated souls

- If you take to the Vedic principles of life, then you become religious. And what is that Vedic principle? Vedais ca sarvair aham eva vedyah (BG 15.15). Krsna says, - Vedic principle means to know Me, Krsna
- If you want to know about me, then you must know from me. That is authentic. That is authentic. Or from a confidential person who is confidence of me. Similarly, if you want to know Krsna, then here is Bhagavad-gita, spoken by Krsna
- If you want to know Krsna as He is, then you have to know Him through bhakti-yoga, not any other. Others, they may go on speculating for many, many millions of years. Still, they will not be able to understand
- If you want to know Krsna in truth, then you have to take this devotional line. Then gradually Krsna will be attracted by your devotion, and then you will know Krsna and you'll be allowed to enter into Krsna's place
- If you want to know Krsna tattvatah, in truth, then you have to go through this bhakti process, not by your speculative process. Krsna is not open to your sensual gratification
- If you want to know Krsna, then Krsna will give you intelligence how to know Him. If you want to forget Krsna, then He will give you, mislead you in such a way that you will forever forget Krsna
- If you want to know Krsna, then you must approach a person who knows Krsna. Don't try to know Krsna by your own imagination. People are trying to know Krsna by his faulty imagination. In that way Krsna cannot be known
- If you want to know what is God, what is Krsna, then you have to go through this bhakti-marga, or devotional... There is no other way. Krsna never says that He can be known through speculation or cultivation of so-called speculative knowledge
- If you want to understand Krsna, then you must approach a person who knows Krsna. It is not fanaticism or mental speculation. You have to learn the art scientifically

- Kuntidevi knew that Krsna was neither her nephew nor an ordinary family member of her paternal house. She knew perfectly well that Krsna is the primeval Lord who lives in everyone's heart as the Supersoul, Paramatma

- Lord Brahma became struck with wonder by this extraordinary feat of Krsna's, and in a prayer he stated that although anyone and everyone could say they knew all about Krsna, as far as he was concerned, he did not know anything about Him
- Lord Caitanya said to Ramananda Raya: Bhattacarya recommended that I see you in order to understand Krsna. Indeed, he said that Ramananda Raya is the only person who knows something about love of Krsna
- Lord Caitanya, therefore, gave His valuable opinion that although a person may not be born in a brahmana family, if he knows Krsna or the science of Krsna consciousness he is more than a brahmana, and he is quite fit to become a spiritual master

- Maharaj Yudhisthira knew that Krsna was the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and he was attempting to get down from his chariot to receive Krsna

- Maya means absence of Krsna consciousness. This is maya, absence of Krsna consciousness. When you forget Krsna, this is maya. When we remember Krsna, know Krsna, there is no maya
- Mayy asakta-manah pariah, yogam yunjan mad-asrayah, asamsayam samagram mamma, yatha jnasyasi tac chrnu. "My dear Partha, Arjuna, in order to know Me, God, asamsayam, without any doubt, and samagram," means in completeness

- One can love Krishna without any inquiry; that is the highest perfection. To know Krishna as God is not so exalted a position as to love Krishna without knowing. That is the highest perfection. Knowledge means discrimination
- One cannot achieve shelter at the lotus feet of Krsna, the son of Maharaja Nanda, simply by knowing His opulences

- Our so much so-called knowledge is nothing in comparison to Krishna's full knowledge. That is admitted by Brahma there in that verse, that people may say they know You very well, but so far I am concerned, I admit I do not know even a farthing of You!
- Our test tube is: if one does not know Krsna, if one does not know how to follow Bhagavad-gita, we immediately take him as a rascal. That's all
- Out of many thousands among men, one may endeavor for perfection, and of those who have achieved perfection, hardly one knows Me in truth. BG 7.3 - 1972

- Pandavas knew nothing except Krsna, and therefore the Lord was also always ready to help them in all respects and in all circumstances. That is the transcendental nature of the Lord. He reciprocates the dependence of the devotee
- People all over the universe who were searching after the Supreme Personality of Godhead knew that He had appeared in the Yadu dynasty and was living in Dvaraka as one of the members of that family
- People are after peace, santi, but this is the santi formula, that we must know Krsna - the supreme enjoyer of everything. If tapasya, you undergo severe austerities... Suppose you are doing business; that is also tapasya. You have to work very hard
- People are after so-called Vedantists, but they do not know Krsna, so-called Vedantist. But one who is actually Vedantist, he knows Krsna
- People do not see the effect of abominable activities because they do not know Krsna. But they will have to suffer the consequence. Time will come when there will be devastation, just like there was First & Second War and there was mass devastation
- People versed in Vedic knowledge must know Krsna as the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Vedais ca sarvair aham eva vedyah - BG 15.15
- Perfect knowledge means knowing Krsna as the root of this Brahman effulgence. This knowledge can be gained from such scriptures as Srimad-Bhagavatam, which perfectly elaborates the science of Krsna
- Persons of demonic or atheistic mentality cannot know Krsna
- Pure devotees of the Lord (Krsna) are all budhas, or persons who know the glories of the Lord in different transcendental loving services

- Radha continued, "I do not know how she has become so captivated by Krsna, why she is so much attached to Krsna, although she knows His actual character. Maybe she is so much captivated by Krsna's sweet words that she cannot understand His real character"
- Real knowledge means to understand God. That is real knowledge. Vedais ca sarvair aham eva vedyah (BG 15.15). What is the Veda, Vedanta? To know Krsna, or God. Krsna and God, the same
- Research is going on for the karmis, jnanis and yogis, but until the search is complete, no one can attain peace. Therefore the Bhagavad-gita (BG 5.229) says, jnatva mam santim rcchati: one can actually attain peace when he knows Krsna
- Rukmini continued, "My dear Lord, You have advised me that I can still select another from the princely order & divorce myself from Your companionship. But, my dear Lord, it is perfectly well known to me that You are the reservoir of all good qualities"
- Rukmini continued, "Their (Krsna's devotees) aim of life remains a mystery to the common human being; the lowest of mankind can know neither You nor Your servants. A contaminated human being cannot even imagine the pastimes of You and Your devotees"
- Rukmini continued, 'I know that You (Krsna) are the husband of the goddess of fortune and are very kind toward Your devotees; therefore I have decided to become Your eternal maidservant. My dear Lord, I dedicate my life and soul unto Your lotus feet'

- Sarasvati, is preaching, "Do you know Krsna?" He says: "No." "He is the Supreme Personality of Godhead." Simply say like that, "He is the Supreme Personality of Godhead," and "Chant His holy name, Hare Krsna." If you do this, then you are preacher
- Seeing King Mucukunda eager to know about His identity, Lord Krsna answered smilingly as follows, "My dear King, it is practically impossible to tell about My birth, appearance, disappearance and activities"
- She (Kuntidevi) knows, - Although Krsna is playing the part of my nephew, my brother's son, He is still the supreme master
- She (the wife of the brahmana) said, "I know that Lord Krsna is the ideal personality of Vedic culture. He is always in favor of brahminical culture and is very kind to the qualified brahmanas"
- She (the wife of the brahmana) said, "My dear lord, I know that Lord Krsna, the husband of the goddess of fortune, is your personal friend. You are also a devotee of Lord Krsna, and He is always ready to help His devotee"
- Should be our aim, that in this very life we shall make our devotional service so perfect, and we shall try to know Krsna as far as possible, so that Krsna says such devotee does not accept any more material body. He comes back in a spiritual body
- Similarly, Krsna also inquired from His aunt about the welfare of the Pandava family. Although Kuntidevi was related to Krsna by family ties, she knew immediately after meeting Him that He is the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- Simply by knowing Krsna, one becomes immediately liberated and goes back to Krsna, simply by knowing Krsna. Janma karma me divyam yo janati tattvatah
- Simply by knowing the transcendental nature of Krsna, we become eligible for entering into His kingdom
- Simply by knowing the transcendental nature of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Krsna, one becomes free from the chains of the repetition of birth and death, and after quitting his present body he goes back home, back to Godhead
- Simply by understanding Krsna as He is, as described in Bhagavad-gita (janma karma ca me divyam evam yo vetti tattvatah (BG 4.9)), one becomes a perfect brahmana. The brahmana who knows Krsna perfectly well is always in a transcendental position
- Since Garga Muni was an astrologer, he could understand everything past and future, and thus he said, "I know everything about His activities and names, but others do not know. This child (Krsna) will be very pleasing to all the cowherd men and cows"
- So Krsna is also well known to them (westerners). But actually what is Krsna, the science of Krsna, they do not know. So this humble attempt is to just to present the science of Krsna to them
- So the devotee of Krsna, they know that "Everywhere is Krsna, and I cannot do anything, concealing myself from the eyes of Krsna. Therefore I should not do anything which is sinful." This is the first step of advancing in Krsna consciousness
- So the purpose of education means to know God, to know Krsna. That is the ultimate purpose. But they do not know. These rascals, they do not know
- Sri Krsna Himself declares that simply by knowing the science of Krsna, Arjuna would not be subject to illusion - yaj jnatva na punar moham
- Sri Krsna states (BG 7.13): Deluded by the three modes (goodness, passion, and ignorance), the whole world does not know Me who am above them and inexhaustible
- Srimati Radharani continued, "Krsna as Vamanadeva ungratefully arrested him just like a crow and pushed him down to the Patala kingdom. We know all about Krsna and how ungrateful He is"
- Srimati Radharani continued, "Please let Me know how Krsna is faring in Mathura. Tell Me if He still remembers His foster father, Nanda Maharaja, His affectionate mother, Yasoda, His cowherd friends and His poor friends like us, the gopis"
- Srimati Radharani continued, "You poor messenger, you are only a less intelligent servant. You do not know much about Krsna, how ungrateful and hardhearted He has been, not only in this life but in His previous lives also"
- Sripada Sankaracarya's followers do not accept Krsna as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, for it is very difficult to know Krsna, even though one has transcendental realization of impersonal Brahman. BG 1972 purports
- Success in life means accepting a spiritual master who knows Krsna as the only supreme beloved personality. One should worship such a confidential devotee of the Lord
- Suppose we go somewhere and he did not favor us. We should not be sorry. We should know that Krsna did not dictate him. He is not so fortunate now; therefore Krsna did not dictate him. So there is nothing to be sorry
- Systematic hearing means knowing Him (Krsna) gradually in truth and fact, and this knowing Him in truth and fact means attaining eternal life, as stated in the Bhagavad-gita

- Take for example, buddhi. Buddhi means intelligence. And what is that intelligence? Real intelligence? Real intelligence is, to know, to understand that, "Krsna is the Supreme, and I am part and parcel."
- That you should understand. Not that remembering or not remembering. Even in the spiritual world, they do not know that Krsna is God
- The atheists, who consider Krsna an ordinary man, may in this way (when Krsna Himself speaks about Himself) come to know that Krsna is superhuman, that He is sac-cid-ananda-vigraha - the eternal form of bliss and knowledge. BG 1972 purports
- The brahmana knew Krsna to be the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and still he accepted the respectful service of the Lord on the grounds of Vedic social convention
- The cause of the distress of a living entity is forgetfulness of his relationship with God. And the cause of happiness is knowing Krsna to be the supreme enjoyer of all the activities of the human being. BG 1972 purports
- The conclusion of all these is that one should know Sri Krsna as the Supreme Personality of Godhead. He is the Parama-purusa, or the Supreme Personality of Godhead, under whose superintendence material nature works
- The conditioned soul is very proud of becoming the husband of even one wife, but the Lord laughs at this; the intelligent man can know who is the real husband. Factually, the Lord is the husband of all the women in His creation
- The cowherd boys said, "O earthly gods, kindly hear us, who are ordered by Lord Krsna and Balarama. We hope you know Them both very well, and we wish you all good fortune. Krsna and Balarama are tending cows nearby, and we have accompanied Them"
- The Deity said, "I will follow you, and you will know that I am following by the jingle of My leg bangles." The youth agreed, and in this way they left Vrndavana to go to the other town
- The demon quickly threw Krsna up and tried to kill Him by pinching Him in his beak. Bakasura did not know that although Krsna was playing the part of a child of Nanda Maharaja, He was still the original father of Lord Brahma, the creator of the universe
- The devotee does not know anyone except Lord Krsna, and Krsna is most affectionate to His devotee
- The devotee expected that the tulasi buds would know something about the glories of Lord Sri Krsna's lotus feet
- The devotees know that although He (Krsna) appears amongst the animals, He is not an animal, nor a man, nor a rsi, nor a fish. He is eternally the Supreme Lord, in all circumstances
- The devotees, however, also know that the battlefield of Kuruksetra by itself has nothing to do with their business, but in addition they know that "Krsna" does not mean just Krsna alone
- The difference between the two living beings is that the one, the Personality of Godhead, provides for all other living beings, and by knowing Him one can achieve eternal peace (Katha Upanisad)
- The duty of a brahmana is to know the param brahma, Krsna (param brahma param dhama pavitram paramam bhavan) - BG 10.12
- The four Kumaras, headed by Sanat-kumara, who all knew the transcendental pastimes of the Lord, glorified the Lord in rhythmic accents with selected words full of affection and love
- The four-headed Brahma said, What I thought about You at first was nonsensical. Everyone may say that they know You in perfection, but as far as I am concerned, I cannot begin to conceive how great You are. You are beyond my conception and understanding
- The friends of Nanda Maharaja, all the cowherd men, became eager to know if Krsna was actually the Supreme Personality and if He was going to give them all salvation
- The goal of life is to know Krsna, who is situated within the heart of every living being as Paramatma, the four-handed Visnu form. BG 1972 purports
- The gopi knew that Krsna had been enjoying the rasa dance and that Mother Yasoda could not detect her son's activities nor understand how He had become covered with the gopis' makeup. Her smiling was in the avahasita feature
- The gopis know Krsna's desires, and they know how to render perfect loving service for His enjoyment. They perform their service expertly for the satisfaction of their beloved
- The gopis said, "Although we know that Krsna is very steady and determined, we are afraid that as soon as He sees the beautiful faces of the young girls in Mathura, He will forget Himself"
- The gopis used to discuss Krsna amongst themselves, and their talks were as follows. "My dear friends," one gopi said, "do you know that when Krsna lies on the ground He rests on His left elbow, and His head rests on His left hand?"
- The gopis, the cowherds boys, they did not know whether Krsna is God, never cared to know it. But their love, profound love for Krsna
- The great soul knows without a doubt that Krsna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead and that He is the origin of all emanations. The Vedanta-sutra states, athato brahma jijnasa: Human life is meant for inquiring about Brahman
- The higher intelligence should be utilized to know God or Krsna. When we say: "Krsna," Krsna means God
- The inhabitants of Vrajabhumi, or Goloka Vrndavana, know Krsna as the son of Maharaja Nanda. They do not accept Him as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, as people in general do
- The karma-yogi knows very well that Sri Krsna, the Personality of Godhead, is the enjoyer of everything, and that He is the Lord of all living entities

- The Krsna science is not so easy. It is not so easy. So therefore Caitanya Mahaprabhu has advised, yei krsna-tattva-vetta sei guru haya. Yei krsna-tattva-vetta. Any person who knows the science of Krsna, he is guru; not others
- The Lord (Krsna) offered His services to His teacher, Sandipani Muni, and the muni, knowing the power of the Lord, asked something which was impossible to be done by anyone else

- The Lord can be known by the mercy of the Lord only, and by no other means

- The Lord indirectly says that if anyone wants to know the Absolute Truth, "Here I am present as the Supreme Personality of Godhead. I am the Supreme." One should know this. BG 1972 purports
- The Lord says in the Bhagavad-gita (BG 7.3): Out of many thousands among men, one may endeavor for perfection, and of those who have achieved perfection, hardly one knows Me in truth
- The Lord tells Arjuna that those who are purely in Krsna consciousness and do not know anything other than Krsna are called mahatma
- The madhyama-adhikari knows that Krsna is God: krsnas tu bhagavan svayam (SB 1.3.28). He wants to develop his love for Krsna
- The Mayavadi-sampradaya sannyasis are generally known as Vedantis, as if Vedanta were their monopoly. Actually, however, Vedanti refers to a person who perfectly knows Krsna
- The messenger began to relay a message from the kings, as follows "A slight portion of Your (Krsna) glories can be known by persons fully surrendered unto Your lotus feet, and, by Your grace only, such persons become freed from all material anxieties"
- The more we hear about the transcendental activities of the Lord, as they are stated in the Bhagavad-gita and Srimad-Bhagavatam, the more we can know about His transcendental nature and thus make definite progress on the path back to Godhead
- The Nagapatnis (wives of Kailya) knew that Krsna is the shelter of all surrendered souls, and they desired to release their husband from the impending danger by pleasing the Lord with their prayers

- The other gopi continued, "We all know these things, but it is very difficult for us to give up the expectation of Krsna's coming back"
- The other three fourths of His (Lord Krsna) energy are displayed in the spiritual world, and so what can the tiny scientist with a tiny brain know of the Absolute Personality of Godhead, Lord Krsna?
- The perfection of knowledge is (BG 7.19) - After many births and deaths, he who is actually in knowledge surrenders unto Me, knowing Me to be the cause of all causes and all that is. Such a great soul is very rare

- The Supreme Lord, the Absolute Personality of Godhead, Sri Krsna, although equal to everyone, is still more inclined to His unflinching devotee who is completely surrendered and knows no one else as his protector and master
- The Supreme Personality of Godhead clearly explains that anyone who knows Lord Krsna as the Supreme Person is actually the knower of everything. BG 1972 purports

- There may be other methods (to know Krsna), they are all bona fide methods, but they will not be successful. This method (chanting of Hare Krsna) will be successful. You have to take in that light
- There must be some proprietor. So who is that proprietor? Krsna says, "I am the proprietor." You have to know it, whether Krsna is not proprietor. He says, "I am proprietor," but if you are doubtful, prove that He is not proprietor. That you cannot do
- They (asuras) do not know what is God or what is the ultimate end, who is the original cause. They do not know. Even the theists, they also do not know. They know Krsna, but it is impossible to understand what is the limit of Krsna's energies
- They (fool of the first order) are robbed of their knowledge because even after prolonged speculation they cannot reach to the stage of knowing the Personality of Godhead, the summum bonum of everything
- They (mahatmas) are fully engaged in devotional service because they know Me as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, original and inexhaustible
- They (prakrta-sahajiyas) do not know that His (Krsna's) bellicose activities and His friendly activities with the gopis are equally transcendental, being on the absolute platform
- They (the cows and boys) said, "My dear Krsna! My dear Krsna! You and Balarama are very powerful. We are now burning from the heat of this blazing fire. Let us take shelter of Your lotus feet. We know You can protect us from this great danger"
- They (the inhabitants of Dvaraka) knew that Krsna, being the Supreme Personality of Godhead, was sometimes visited by the demigods, so while Satrajit was visiting the city of Dvaraka all the inhabitants except Krsna took him to be the sun-god himself
- They (the sahajiyas) do not try to understand Radha-Krsna through the channel chalked out by Caitanya Mahaprabhu and Gosvamis. We must know. Radha-Krsna is not ordinary. Radha krsna-pranaya-vikrtir hladini sakti
- Thinking of You as my friend, I have rashly addressed You "O Krsna," "O Yadava," "O my friend," not knowing Your glories. Please forgive whatever I may have done in madness or in love

- Those who know the Supreme Brahman pass away from the world during the influence of the fiery god, in the light, at an auspicious moment, during the fortnight of the moon and the six months when the sun travels in the north. BG 8.24 - 1972
- Those whose nature is demoniac cannot know Krsna at any time, but He cannot hide Himself from His pure devotees
- Though their tribulations were not ordinary, still Draupadi was not discouraged. She knew that because Krsna was their friend, ultimately they would be saved
- Through receiving knowledge in this way (by understanding the Bhagavad-gita), we should know that Krsna is pleased, and we should serve Him favorably, according to His pleasure

- To live in Vrndavana means to know Krsna - how He appeared there, how He played here, how He executed His pastimes here. Janma karma divyam. These are all celestial, all transcendental
- To stop the cycle of birth and death, one has to understand Krsna as He is. Simply by knowing Krsna, one can stop the process of rebirth into this material world. By acting in Krsna consciousness, one can return to Godhead

- Ultimately after undergoing severe austerities and penances, if you do not know what is Krsna, then what is the use? It is useless
- Unless one is in touch with a realized spiritual master, he cannot actually realize the real nature of self, etc. And out of thousands and hundreds of thousands of men, someone may know what Lord Krsna is in fact
- Unless we know about Krsna by the symptoms . . . there are two mistakes: to understand God as common man or to accept a common man as God. Both things are mistakes. So one has to understand

- Vidura was anxious to know from Uddhava that confidential knowledge known as paramam sthitim, in which the Lord is known by His transcendental pastimes
- Visnu said: I gave you the benediction that I would take birth as your son three times. First, I was known as Prsnigarbha, born of Prsni & Sutapa, next birth I was Upendra, born of Aditi & Kasyapa, and now I am born as Krsna from you, Devaki & Vasudeva

- We (gopis) know Him very well, and therefore we are not interested in hearing any more songs about Him. It would be better for you (bumblebee) to go sing to those who are now very dear to Krsna
- We are also astounded upon thinking of whether this movement (KC) will be killed by the asuras or will continue to advance without fear - as Devaki and Vasudeva were thinking if Krsna gets killed by Kamsa, although they knew He could not be killed
- We are Krsna's servant, we are not beggar; we don't want anything from anyone because we know Krsna will provide everything
- We are seeking friendship with so many people to get our motive realized. But if we make Krsna . . . if we know Krsna is already ready . . . in the Upanisad it is said that two birds in friendly way are sitting in the same tree, the body
- We are spreading that Krsna consciousness movement to let you know the Supreme Controller and how He is controlling. These things are preliminary discussed in this Bhagavad-gita
- We cannot demand from Krishna to know about Him
- We cannot know Krsna cent percent. That is not possible. Krsna's energies are so multi
- We convince him as beggars. We are not beggars. We are Krsna's servants. We don't want anything from anyone. Because we know Krsna will provide everything. This is knowledge
- We have to become very humble & submissive & pray to Krsna sincerely, "Krsna, it is not possible for me to know You. Kindly explain how it is I can know You, & then it will be possible." This is the way Arjuna approached Krsna in Eleventh Chapter of BG
- We know God, Krsna, and Krsna says, man-mana bhava mad-bhaktah (BG 18.65): "Always think of Me." This is meditation. So we meditate upon Krsna. So that is perfect meditation, because meditation means to think of God
- We know Krsna is feeding. But if he's a rascal, we don't want. We don't want to feed the rascals, we want to feed the devotees
- We may change to an animal body or a demigod body depending on our activities. According to the Padma Purana there are at death. But Krsna promises that one who knows His birth and activities in truth is freed from this cycle of transmigration
- We must know thoroughly how Krsna is acting. That is all explained in the Bhagavad-gita. If we study Bhagavad-gita very carefully, as it is, we can understand
- We must know, we must find out guru who knows sastra, the essence of sastra, Vedic, Vedas. What is the essence of Vedas? Vedanta. Vedanta means to know Krsna
- We must simply accept the word of Lord Ramacandra, Lord Krsna and Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu and follow in Their footsteps. Then it may be possible for us to know the purpose of Their incarnations
- We often hear it said that God is infallible, and in BG Krsna states: When you see that there is nothing beyond these modes of nature in all activities and that the Supreme Lord is transcendental to all these modes, then you can know My spiritual nature
- We read Bhagavad-gita, but by reading Bhagavad-gita I become a politician. So what kind of reading Bhagavad-gita? Politician is there, of course, but the real purpose of reading Bhagavad-gita is to know Krsna
- We should not be disturbed by such sufferings. We must have firm faith, firm conviction, knowing, "Krsna is present, and He will give me protection." Don't try to take the benefit of any shelter other than Krsna. Always take to Krsna
- We should understand from the Vedas what ultimate knowledge really is. The ultimate knowable objective is Krsna, and simply by understanding Krsna, we can understand everything. We do not have to understand things separately
- What can ordinary human beings and mental speculators know of You (Lord Krsna)? It is not possible for anyone to enumerate the unlimited transcendental qualities of Your Lordship
- What is the hankering? Why shall I be hankering? I know Krsna will give me all protection; otherwise, why shall I hanker? Without hankering. Simple; no duplicity. Simple. The worldly men, they are duplicitous, speaking something cheater
- When a person knows the glories of the Lord completely and is prepared to sacrifice everything for the Lord, he is called sampradanaka, or one who gives everything in charity for the sake of Krsna
- When a seer knows himself to be one of Your own servitors, no longer does he maintain such duality. Thus I am now able to comprehend Your eternal forms, knowing well the Paramatma to be only Your plenary portion
- When actually he becomes a man in knowledge, then he surrenders. So, so long one does not know Krsna, he's a fool
- When an intelligent man surrenders unto the lotus feet of Krsna and knows completely that Krsna is the cause of all causes, as confirmed in BG, then only can such an intelligent man become a mahatma, or great soul. But such a great soul is rarely seen
- When it was known to the King of Kosala that Krsna had come to ask the hand of his daughter, he was very much pleased. With great respect and pomp, he welcomed Krsna to the kingdom
- When Krsna drives the chariot, Arjuna does not forget, that "He is my chariot driver." He knows that, "Krsna is the Supreme. But He is so kind, He has accepted the post of my chariot driver." This is spiritual sense
- When Krsna was personally present, how many received Him? Only the Pandavas and the gopis and the Vrndavana-lila is there. Nobody knew Him as Krsna. In the Battlefield of Kuruksetra, how many knew Him that He was Krsna?
- When Krsna, who was already known to the Pandavas, was further described by Narada Muni to be the Supreme Personality of Godhead, naturally the Pandavas were amazed, thinking, "The SPG is with us as our cousin!" Certainly their ecstasy was extraordinary
- When one actually comes to understand the Vedanta, he comes to know Krsna and his relationship with Krsna
- When one knows of Krsna's birth and activities in truth, the result is: tyaktva deham punar janma naiti mam eti so 'rjuna (Bg. 4.9) - when he leaves this material body, he is not born again but goes directly to Krsna
- When one knows that Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, is the source of everything and that everything emanates from Him - aham sarvasya prabhavah
- When one knows these (Krsna and His transcendental name, form, qualities and pastimes), he surpasses death and the ephemeral cosmic manifestation with it, and in the eternal kingdom of God he enjoys his eternal life of bliss and knowledge
- When one properly sees that in all activities no other performer is at work than these modes of nature and he knows the Supreme Lord, who is transcendental to all these modes, he attains My (Krsna) spiritual nature
- When people forget or become engaged otherwise, rascaldom, at that time He comes. He comes Himself or sends His representative to make this rascal know that, "Here is Krsna." In the form of name, in the form of Deity, in the form of picture, so many ways
- When people know that the Supreme Lord, Krsna, is the supreme enjoyer, the supreme proprietor and the most intimate well-wishing friend of all living entities, peace and prosperity will ensue all over the world
- When the wise man actually becomes wise after many births and whimsical attempts at self-realization, he surrenders unto the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Krsna. Such a mahatma, or learned person, knows that Krsna, Vasudeva, is everything
- When they (Demon Mura's seven sons) came before Lord Krsna, they began to shower Him with many kinds of weapons, like swords, clubs, lances, arrows and tridents. But they did not know that the strength of the S P of Godhead is unlimited and invincible
- When we raise our unmixed faith to the lotus feet of Krsna, everything is revealed. Krsna says in BG 7.1: "Now hear, O son of Prtha, how by practicing yoga in full consciousness of Me, with mind attached to Me, you can know Me in full, free from doubt"
- When you enter the temple, you know definitely, "Here is Krsna. He is God, and we must love Him like this." That is the superexcellence of this Krsna consciousness movement

- Who can leave Krsna? If one has got Krsna . . . they (sixteen thousand wives of Krsna) know Krsna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. So they are embracing Krsna. How much happy they are

- Why does a woman continue to live who knows that Krsna's heart is unhappy but who still shows her deep anger toward Him? She is interested in her own happiness. I condemn such a woman to be struck on the head with a thunderbolt
- Without understanding the intricacies of Krsna, the SP of God, and without knowing His uncommon spiritual opulences, the innocent cowherd boys & men of Vrndavana began to discuss the wonderful activities of Krsna, which surpass the activities of all men

- Yei krsna-tattva-vetta sei guru haya (CC Madhya 8.128). So guru means krsna-tattva-vit, one who knows about Krsna
- Yei krsna-tattva-vetta sei guru haya (CC Madhya 8.128). Tattva-vetta means one who knows about the science of Krsna. That means fully Krsna conscious. Sei guru haya. Sei means "he." Guru means - spiritual master
- Yet in spite of my knowing His desire (to destroy the dynasty), O Arindama (Vidura), I followed Him because it was impossible for me to bear separation from the lotus feet of the master
- You (Krsna) are the supreme friend of all living entities, but at the same time You are the supreme chastiser of the miscreants & the envious. I (Narada) know that Your Lordship has descended to this earth for the proper maintenance of the whole universe
- You are distressed by sinful reactions. But if there is no sinful reaction there is no suffering. One who knows Krsna without doubt is relieved of all reactions
- You cannot know Krsna completely. That is not possible. He is unlimited. But even a little knowledge of Krsna, preliminary knowledge of Krsna, will make you liberated from this material entanglement
- You descend to propagate the transcendental science of devotional service unto the hearts of advanced transcendentalists & mental speculators, who are purified by being able to discriminate between matter & spirit. How can we women know You perfectly?
- You should know it that Krsna is not a plaything. These things should strictly not be done
- You should know Krsna to be the original soul of all atmas (living entities). For the benefit of the whole universe, He has, out of His causeless mercy, appeared as an ordinary human being. He has done this by the strength of His own internal potency
- You should simply teach about Krsna. That will include everything. His aim should be to know Krsna
- You'll know Krsna will give you protection. You try your best, you use your intelligence, but believe in Krsna. Varasa neha pitaro nrsimha. If Krsna neglects, no other remedy can protect
- You'll not be admitted in the spiritual kingdom unless you know Krsna, what He is. And as soon as you understand Krsna, you are fit - Come on
