- A spiritual master should not be very anxious to accept a disciple because of his material opulences. Sometimes a big businessman or landlord may approach a spiritual master for initiation

- We are talking of how to come to the vipra stage. The 1st stage, everyone is on the sudra platform. Then by purificatory process, by understanding of this Vedic knowledge, janmana jayate sudrah samskarad bhaved dvijah, that by initiation he is twice-born
- We have got very nice example that in political field there are parties. Unless you belong to some party, you cannot stand for election. Similarly, if one person who desires to advance in spiritual life, he must take initiation from the sampradaya
- We should be very much cautious: "For my sinful actions my spiritual master will suffer, so I'll not commit even a pinch of sinful activities." That is the duty of the disciple. After initiation, all sinful reaction is finished
