- A city government may have a rest house where the governor & important government officers stay. Such a rest house is not an ordinary house. Similarly, Svetadvipa, which is in the ocean of milk, in this material world, it is param padam, transcendental
- A devotee does not care for heavenly kingdom. A devotee cares a very fig in any planet within this material world
- A devotee not only lives forever in the Vaikuntha planets, but by his reputation he also lives forever within this material world

- Because he (Lord Brahma) is the qualitative incarnation of the mode of passion within this material world, this was natural for him, and therefore he committed the mistake
- Because Lord Krsna appeared as the son of Devaki, the Mayavadi philosophers accept Krsna to be an ordinary living entity who takes birth within this material world
- Because of forgetfulness of this object (the only lovable object for everyone), people are suffering in this material world, but if one fortunately revives his old consciousness of loving Krsna and connects with Visvatma, one becomes perfect
- Because of his limited knowledge, however, the living entity thinks he is enjoying in this material world
- Because the Supreme Lord lives everywhere, He is known as Vasudeva. Although He lives everywhere within the material world, He is not contaminated by the modes of nature. The Lord is therefore described in Isopanisad as apapa-viddham

- Bharata Maharaja was determined to finish his business in this material world, and he did not at all care for the world of duality. He was complete in Krsna consciousness and was oblivious to good and evil, happiness and distress
- Birth, maintenance and death are three conditional states of the living entities who are within the material world

- By this system of philosophy (the Sankhya philosophy enunciated by Lord Kapila), one can immediately become free, even though one is situated in this material world. That stage is called jivan-mukti

- Caitanya Mahaprabhu's mission is that paropakara, benefit of the human society. All living entities within this material world, they are in ignorance, all 8,400,000 different forms of life
- Caitanya said, "Love of Godhead, devoid of cheating propensities, is not possible within this material world. If there is such a love, there cannot be separation, for if there is separation, how can one live"
- Canakya Pandita says, san-nimitte varam tyago vinase niyate sati: everything within this material world will be destroyed, and therefore one should use everything for good purposes
- Certainly they were transferred to the spiritual world, but apart from that, what did they obtain within this material world, either in this life or in other lives?
- Coming to his senses, Lord Brahma saw that although he was a very powerful living creature in the estimation of all other living creatures within this material world, his power was nothing in comparison to the power and energy of the S.P. of Godhead
- Common man within this material world, he commits mistake: "To err is human." Even big, big personalities, they commit mistake. But narayana parah. He is transcendental. Krsna is transcendental. There cannot be any mistake; there cannot be any illusion

- Demons' thinking, So long I shall be aspiring more and more, I am getting entangled more & more within this material world. Because Krsna is so kind, He has given me freedom to enjoy this material world, but according to my work, I am becoming implicated
- Devotional service means mukti, freedom from material entanglement, but pious and impious activities result in entanglement within this material world
- Dharma, occupational duty, there are two kinds of occupational duties according to Vedic system, pravrtti and nivrtti. Pravrtti means propensities, material propensities. We have come here within this material world to enjoy material resources
- Dhruvaloka, or the polestar, is the abode of Lord Visnu within this material world. Upon it there is an ocean of milk, and within that ocean there is an island known as Svetadvipa
- Disunity between individual souls is so strong within this material world that even in a society of Krsna consciousness, members sometimes appear disunited due to their having different opinions and leaning toward material things
- Due to being conditioned by the external energy, the conditioned soul within this material world gets two kinds of bodies - a gross material body and a subtle material body composed of mind, intelligence and ego
- Due to being covered by the illusory external energy, the living entity tries to take credit for the differentiated creations within the material world
- Durga is supreme, the supreme power and energy within this material world
- Durga means the material power, energy. So when a person is in the lowest stage of material existence, he realizes some power. That's a fact. The scientists also, they realize some power, there is some power in the material world
- Durvasa Muni's purpose in going to Brahmaloka was apparently to speak to the residents of Brahmaloka about how powerful a devotee is and how a devotee can surpass every living entity within this material world

- Each and every Vaikuntha planet is many, many times bigger than the biggest universe within the material world, and in each of them there are innumerable inhabitants who look exactly like Lord Visnu
- Even great sages, if they are against Your transcendental topics, must rotate in this material world
- Even in the material world, there are many grades of living entities
- Even in this material world, if we understand perfectly well that we are not enjoyer, Krsna is enjoyer, then that is spiritual world. This Krsna consciousness movement is trying to convince everyone that we are not enjoyer, enjoyer is Krsna

- Family members in this material world go under the names of wife and children, but actually they behave like tigers and jackals. A herdsman tries to protect his sheep to the best of his ability, but the tigers and foxes take them away by force
- For the welfare of all living entities within this material world, He resides in His abode, restraining His anger and intolerance
- Forgetting our father, forgetting our God, we are criminal within this material world. Therefore our only business is how to get out of this prison house and go back to home, back to Godhead

- God is joyful, and we are part and parcel of God; we are by nature joyful. But by freaks of nature, because we are prone to be allured by the illusory nature, we have come to this material world; therefore, we are suffering. Enjoyment is our birthright
- Great personalities understand that a living entity entangled in this material world cannot be freed by his own efforts
- Grhastha life is a concession for sex life. Actually, sex life is not required for advancement of civilization. That is advancement. Why? That if so long we are attached to sex life, we have to remain within this material world - in any form

- I (Prahlada Maharaja) offer my respectful obeisances unto Lord Nrsimhadeva, the source of all power. O my Lord who possesses nails and teeth just like thunderbolts, kindly vanquish our demonlike desires for fruitive activity in this material world
- I have had one desire for a very long time. I think that quite soon, my Lord, You will bring to a close Your pastimes within this material world

- If one always remains a servant of Krsna and engages everything in His service, one is accepted as jivan-mukta, a liberated soul, even during his lifetime within the material world
- If one forgets all his bodily relationships within this material world and becomes situated in his spiritual identity, it is said that one has been freed from all material contamination by the blazing fire of yogic samadhi, or ecstasy
- If one keeps his bodily relationships within this material world and poses himself as a great yogi, he is not a bona fide yogi
- If one remains in the bodily conception, one must rot within this material world, and his life will be a failure
- If one sticks to this principle, that "I shall be happy with this material body, I shall be happy within this material world, within my country, within my society," in this way, if one thinks, they are called grha-vrata
- If one takes to Krsna's service, he is liberated, even though he appears to be a conditioned soul within the material world. Jivan-muktah sa ucyate. In any condition, one is to be considered liberated if his only business is to serve Krsna
- If one wants to be happy within this material world, he may aspire to go to the different material planetary systems where there is a higher standard of sense gratification, but real moksa, or liberation, is performed without any such desire
- If the kings, the leaders, and the brahmanas, the teachers, would set forth the examples we receive from Vedic literature, the entire world would be heaven; indeed, there would no longer be hellish conditions within this material world
- If there is any reputation within this material world, the cause of the reputation is Krsna. If there is any strength within this material world, the cause of such strength is Krsna
- If there is any reputation within this material world, the cause of the reputation is Krsna. If there is any strength within this material world, the cause of that strength is Krsna
- If there is any truth within this material world, it emanates from the Supreme Truth, Krsna. If there is any opulence within the material world, the cause of the opulence is Krsna
- If there is any truth within this material world, it emanates from the Supreme Truth, Krsna. If there is any opulence within this material world, the cause of the opulence is Krsna
- If there is any wisdom and education within this material world, the cause of such wisdom and education is Krsna
- If we accept the inconceivable potencies of the Lord, we can understand how the Supreme Personality of Godhead can appear within this material world without being touched or contaminated by the three modes of material nature
- If we keep displeasing our supreme father, we shall never be happy within this material world, in either the upper or lower planetary systems
- If we look as far as we can see - up to the sky - our vision is still confined within only one universe, and there are unlimited universes clustered together within what is called the material world
- If we want to become predominator falsely in this material world, that is illusion, That we must give up. That we must give up. We shall always try to become predominated by Krsna. That is successful life

- If you still have any desire to enjoy the company of your friends within this material world, then don't look upon the form of Krsna, who is standing on the bank of Kesi-ghata
- If you want to remain in this material world and do hard work for sense gratification, that chance will be given to you. But if you want to go back to home, back to Godhead, that chance also will be given to you
- Imperfect life is realized in material existence, in five different relationships we share with everyone within the material world: neutrality, servitorship, friendship, filial love and amorous love between husband and wife or lover and beloved
- Impersonalist commentators on the Gita unreasonably assume that Brahman takes the form of jiva in the material world, and to substantiate this they refer to Chapter Fifteen, verse 7, of the Gita. BG 1972 purports
- In complete contrast with the influence of this atmosphere on the minds of the living entities within the material world is the description of the spiritual world. The women there are hundreds and thousands of times more beautiful than the women here
- In conformity with the Vedic hymns (nityo nityanam cetanas cetananam (Katha Upanisad)), the Personality of Godhead is more excellent than all other living beings within all the universes in the material world
- In hopes of becoming happy in this material world, the foolish conditioned soul performs fruitive activities that result only in suffering

- In the material dealings there is always there is always something undesirable, but even so you cannot give up your occupation. Just like fire is very pure, still there is some smoke. You cannot avoid it
- In the material world also we do not always see things with our own eyes; we sometimes see through the experience of those who have actually seen or done things
- In the material world also, the initial creator is the Lord Himself. He brings about the creation of Brahma, who becomes the subsequent creator, empowered by the Lord
- In the material world the pleasure enjoyed by the conditioned soul is followed by many painful conditions. We have seen that in the two great wars, which were conducted by the rajo-guna and tamo-guna, both parties were actually ruined
- In the material world the qualities of the demigods are highly appreciated, just as, even in our experience, the qualities of a gentleman are more highly appreciated than the qualities of a man in ignorance or in a lower condition of life
- In the material world the senses are manipulated for individual and personal satisfaction, whereas in the spiritual world the senses are properly used for the purpose for which they were originally meant, namely the satisfaction of the Supreme Lord
- In the material world the topmost planet is called Satyaloka, or Brahmaloka. Beings of the greatest talents live on this planet. The presiding deity of Brahmaloka is Brahma, the first created being of this material world
- In the material world the wrath of those who want to lord it over material nature interacts, and the fire of war takes place, exhausting the unwanted population. Such fires or wars take place, and the Lord (Krsna) has nothing to do with them
- In the material world there are, these four objects are in view: how I shall eat, how I shall sleep, how shall I mate, how shall I defend. So as soon as one is purified of all material desires, these material objectives will not be a problem
- In the material world there is keen competition between animal and animal, man and man, community and community, nation and nation. But the devotees of the Lord rise above such competitions
- In the material world there is no love. Because everyone is directed by lust
- In the material world there is no such thing as a lover's wanting to please the senses of his beloved. Actually, in the material world, everyone wants mainly to gratify his own personal senses
- In the material world these attributes (up to seventy-eight percent of the Lord's attributes) are covered by the material energy, as the sun is covered by a cloud
- In the material world this sort of relationship (the attraction of a married woman for a man other than her husband) is most abominable because it is a perverted reflection of the parakiya-rasa in the spiritual world
- In the material world we are situated in designative positions only, but pure devotional service begins when one is freed from all designations. When love for Krsna is awakened, the designative positions are overcome
- In the material world we are suffering life after life because of our bodily identification, and liberation is freedom from that miserable condition of life
- In the material world we have no experience of eternity, bliss and fullness of knowledge. But in the spiritual world, because of the complete absence of the qualitative modes, everything is eternal, blissful and cognizant
- In the material world, a so-called husband is dependent on the control of the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- In the material world, all distresses are due to extravagance. One acquires money extravagantly and also spends it extravagantly. Such activities are sinful
- In the material world, although the Lord is all-pervasive in His impersonal feature, the living entities have forgotten their Krsna consciousness to a greater or lesser degree, just as sparks sometimes fall from a blazing fire
- In the material world, because we have not surrendered to Krsna we are always wandering helpless. Everyone here is feeling helpless. Even though one is millionaire, even though one is president, but he's feeling helpless
- In the material world, Brahma is the complete representation of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and transcendental sound, pranava, comes from him
- In the material world, even if you promote to the highest planetary system, Brahmaloka, still, you'll have to come back again
- In the material world, every living entity has a desire to lord it over the material world as much as possible. This is called pravrtti-marga. All the sastras, however, advise nivrtti-marga, or release from the materialistic way of life
- In the material world, everyone is envious of everyone else, and therefore there is competition
- In the material world, if one engages in chanting a material name, he will feel tired after chanting a few times. However, one can chant the Hare Krsna maha-mantra all day and night and never feel tired
- In the material world, one can get oranges from an orange tree or mangoes from a mango tree, but there is no possibility of getting oranges from a mango tree or vice versa
- In the material world, one who is unaffected by whatever good or evil he may obtain, neither praising it nor despising it, is firmly fixed in perfect knowledge
- In the material world, three modes of nature which are named ignorance, passion & goodness, are always found mixed together. In other words these modes are never found pure but if there's one mode there's sure to be at least a tinge of another mode also
- In the material world, to be dependent on the mercy of someone else is the utmost sign of misfortune, but in the case of our transcendental relation with the Lord (Krsna), it is the most fortunate case when we can live completely dependent on Him
- In the material world, unless women are trained to be chaste and faithful to their husbands, there cannot be peace or prosperity in society
- In the offenseless stage (of chanting the Holy Name of God), one actually enters into the kingdom of God, although physically he may apparently be within the material world. To attain the offenseless stage, one must be on guard in the following manner
- In the spiritual world all existence is unadulterated goodness. The goodness found in the material world is contaminated by the modes of passion and ignorance
- In the spiritual world you cannot become a competitor of Krsna. That is not possible. In this material world you can become a false competitor of Krsna. Your position is false
- In the Visnu Purana, kala-sakti is mentioned as avidya. The symptom of the influence of the kala-sakti is that one has to work in the material world for fruitive results
- In the world of duality - that is to say, in the material world - so-called goodness and badness are both the same
- In this material world the love is like that. It is never perfect. It cannot be perfect. So Lord Caitanya, taking compassion on these poor fellows, He taught love of Godhead. If you love Krsna, then you will feel pleasure
- In this material world we have many nice facilities for living, but we are so foolish that we do not ask who has made this world habitable for us and has arranged it so nicely
- In this material world, every living entity is very much addicted to his material body. Struggling to keep his body forever, everyone tries to protect it by all means, even at the sacrifice of all his possessions
- In this material world, neither the living entity himself nor others (friends and enemies) are the cause of material happiness and distress. But because of gross ignorance, the living entity thinks that he and others are the cause
- In this material world, the holy name of Visnu is all-auspicious. Visnu's name, form, qualities and pastimes are all transcendental, absolute knowledge
- In this material world, we come here to enjoy. Not enjoy, but to satisfy our senses. This is material life. But that is not the right process, to develop the sense enjoyment process
- In this material world, when the conditioned soul cannot arrange for his own maintenance, despite exploiting others, he tries to exploit his own father or son, taking away that relative's possessions, although they may be very insignificant
- In this material world, when the conditioned soul forgets his relationship with the Supreme Personality of Godhead and does not care for Krsna consciousness, he simply engages in different types of mischievous and sinful activities
- In this way (taking shelter of a guru) he receives a clue of how to get out of his continuous struggle up and down within the material world. Therefore the Vedic injunction is that one should approach a spiritual master
- In this way he is wandering within the material world. His acceptance of different types of bodies is brought about by his activities under the influence of the modes of nature
- In this way, King Puranjana was captivated by his nice wife and was thus cheated. Indeed, he became cheated in his whole existence in the material world
- Indeed, all living entities within this material world are under the control of mahamaya, whose business is to subject them to the influence of threefold miseries
- Indeed, as long as there is any desire for material perfection at all, one cannot be at peace. Since the devotees of Lord Krsna do not desire anything material, they are the only peaceful persons within this material world
- Indra said, "If someone thinks that when You (Krsna) enter within this material world You accept the modes of material nature, he is mistaken"
- Indra said, "Within this material world there are many fools like me who consider themselves to be the Supreme Lord or the all in all within the universe"
- It has been explained (in the Thirteenth Chapter) that it is due to association with the modes of nature that the living entity is entangled in this material world
- It is a fact that so long you'll be here in this material world, however you may try to adjust things to become happy, it will be never possible. It will be never possible
- It is accepted in the Vedic literature that as water in contact with air sometimes presents innumerable bubbles, so a combination of the material nature and the Supreme Person causes the appearance of the living entities within this material world
- It is easy to discern the superiority of spirit over inert matter. The jiva principle is setting into motion and sustaining everything in this material world
- It is not Krsna's partiality; it is our misfortune that we do not take care of the instruction of Krsna and suffer in this material world
- It is not that the whole population goes to prison; some, who are disobedient, are confined in prison. Similarly, the conditioned souls within this material world are only a fraction of all the living entities in the creation of God
- It is stated there (Mrtyunjaya-tantra) that the highest planetary system within the material world is Satyaloka, or Brahmaloka, beyond which are Rudraloka and Maha-Visnuloka
- It is understood that in a higher planetary system in this material world, the mud on the banks of the Jambu-nadi mixes with jambu juice, reacts with the sunshine in the air, and automatically produces huge quantities of gold
- It purifies the heart of the living entity and helps him attain his spiritual identity. One who relates this transcendental narration will be liberated from all material bondage and will no longer have to wander within this material world

- Jnane prayasam udapasya namanta eva: "Just become submissive. Just try to understand your position that you are very insignificant segment in this material world or in the creation"
- Just as a person born recently in a family cannot understand the situation of his distant forefather, no one within this material world can understand the position of the Supreme Lord in the spiritual world
- Just as it is the nature of all living entities within this material world to become envious of their competitors, King Indra, although King of heaven, was also envious of King Prthu and therefore wanted to stop him from performing one hundred sacrifices
- Just like we have got many universes within this material world, similarly, there are many spiritual planets in the spiritual world. These are common sense affairs. Why people will not understand

- Kama spirit, or the desire for one's own satisfaction, is fully exhibited in the material world, whereas the spirit of akamah is fully exhibited in the spiritual world
- KC is so nice that you are aspiring for still more work. That is the sign of spiritual life. In the material world we want to minimize our activities and take rest more but in the spiritual world, there is no rest and there is no limit of activities
- King Prthu was an incarnation of Visnu, he taught the people in his kingdom to take instructions from a spiritual master who represents the disciplic succession. Thus one can become fortunate and enjoy a blissful life even within this material world
- Krsna appears in this material world in His original eternal form, with two hands, holding a flute. He appears exactly in His eternal body, uncontaminated by this material world. BG 1972 purports
- Krsna is advising Arjuna that either goodness or passion or ignorance, after all, they are activities of this material world. You have to come above, transcend this position of goodness also. So goodness is not qualification for spiritual advancement
- Krsna is not visible within this material world, material eyes. Just like Krsna's part and parcel. We are Krsna's part and parcel, all living entities, but we do not see each other. You cannot see me, I do not see you
- Krsna is the only husband, and therefore the relationship between a husband and wife in this material world cannot be absolute
- Krsna is the supreme father, and all the living entities within this material world are exactly like misled children of a wealthy man who have left home to loiter in the street
- Krsna is the Supreme Powerful, and Durga is the supreme power within the material world
- Krsna said to Uddhava, "Even if they are offered the four kinds of spiritual opulences, they will refuse to accept them. So what to speak of their desiring anything within the material world"
- Krsna, the Lord, when He comes within this material world - yuge yuge sambhavamy atma-mayaya (BG 4.6) - He comes in His own original turya status. He does not become affected. He's not affected. This is the position of Krsna. He's always transcendental
- Kuvera, the treasurer of the demigods, whose only business is to supply immense riches to persons within this materialistic world, is described as the king of kings because unless one is blessed by Kuvera one cannot become a king

- Liberation is not so important as the transcendental loving service of the Lord. The Lord could have awarded Prsni and Sutapa immediate liberation, but He preferred to keep them within this material world for His different appearances
- Living entities come together within this material world and are again separated by the laws of nature. We should always know, however, that the spirit soul, which is different from the body, is eternal, unadjustable, pure, all-pervading and aware
- Lord Brahma is the perfect liberated living being within the material world, and any sincere student of transcendental knowledge must accept the words and statements of Brahmaji as infallible
- Lord Brahma, who is situated in the highest planetary system (Brahmaloka), has to die. Lord Brahma's birth & death may be different from an ordinary man's, but within this material world he cannot avoid the distresses of birth, old age, disease and death
- Lord Krsna appears within this material world for two purposes - paritranaya sadhunam vinasaya ca duskrtam: (BG 4.8) to protect the devotees and annihilate the demons
- Lord Krsna said, "If this is so, how can ordinary kings, who falsely think themselves the most powerful beings within the material world, usurp a brahmana's property? I do not think that taking poison is as dangerous as taking a brahmana's property"
- Lord Siva also seeks the pleasure of Lord Krsna in order to be delivered from his entanglement in the quality of ignorance within the material world
- Lord Siva is neither the Supreme Personality of Godhead nor a living entity. He is the form through which the Supreme Lord works to beget living entities within this material world
- Lord Siva is the proprietor, or the supreme person within this material world, and he is asutosa, very easily pleased. Therefore materialistic person go to him for some material benefit, and he gives. That's all
- Lord Siva is well known as Asutosa ("very easily pleased"), and he is also very affectionate to his devotees. He is a great protector for persons who take shelter of him and is the master of all living entities in this material world
M
- Madhavendra Puri sowed the seed of ecstatic love for Krsna within this material world and then departed. That seed later became a great tree in the form of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu
- Maharaja Pariksit was certainly going back to Godhead, but even if he were not to go back, he prayed for a pattern of life which is the most perfect way in the material world
- Manu's obedience to his father (Brahma) on material grounds was certainly free from envy, and in the material world it is imperative for ordinary men to follow the example of Manu
- Matter does not work automatically. It requires higher brain, higher manipulation, therefore higher order. Just like in this material world we have got the highest order, the sun, movement of the sun, the heat energy, light energy of the sun
- Mayavadi philosophers say that the impersonal God appears in this material world by accepting a body in the sattva-guna
- Mind creates bondage and a false sense of intimacy within this material world because it is affected by disease, lamentation, illusion, attachment, greed and enmity
- Mother Parvati was justified in punishing Citraketu, for Citraketu impudently criticized the supreme father, Mahadeva, who is the father of the living entities conditioned within this material world
- My dear King, as long as conditioned soul does not conquer his six enemies and come to the platform of self-realization by awakening his spiritual knowledge, he has to wander among different places and different species of life in this material world
- My dear King, of all persons a qualified brahmana must be accepted as the best within this material world because such a brahmana, by practicing austerity, Vedic studies and satisfaction, becomes the counterpart body of the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- My dear Lord Sambhu, who within this material world but you can surpass My illusory energy? People are generally attached to sense enjoyment and conquered by its influence. Indeed, the influence of material nature is very difficult for them to surmount
- My dear Lord, all living entities within this material world are mad after planning for things, and they are always busy with a desire to do this or that. This is due to uncontrollable greed
- My dear Lord, by expanding Your transcendental vibrations, You reveal the actual meaning of everything. You are the all-pervading sky within & without, & You are the ultimate goal of pious activities executed both within this material world and beyond it
- My dear Lord, everyone in this material world is under the modes of material nature, being influenced by goodness, passion & ignorance. Everyone - from the greatest personality, Brahma, down to the small ant - works under the influence of these modes
- My dear Prahlada, while you are in this material world you will exhaust all the reactions of pious activity by feeling happiness, and by acting piously you will neutralize impious activity

- Na te viduh svartha-gatim hi visnum durasaya ye bahir-artha-maninah (SB 7.5.31). The living entity tries to be happy within this material world, not understanding the target of his life
- Narada Muni therefore (because Krsna Himself lived with them constantly) specifically mentioned that within this material world (nr-loke) the Pandavas were the most fortunate
- Naturally, anyone who is a first-class devotee must be a first-class intelligent person and therefore not interested in any kind of benediction within this material world
- Nitya-siddha means they never fall a victim of maya. Even though they are within this material world, they are never victimized. That is called nitya-siddha. And one who is victimized, he is called nitya-baddha
- No one can be truly happy within the material world. Srila Narada Muni, in order to enlighten the miserable inhabitants, wanders everywhere
- No one can live within this material world eternally. The phenomenal world is created, maintained and destroyed by the finger signal of the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- No one has traced out when the Vedas were written, because they were never written by any living being within this material world
- Nobody is immortal within this material world. And still, we are attached. We want to be immortal. That is the psychology
- Not only does the illusory energy of the SPG act on the conditioned soul within this material world, but sometimes it also acts on the advanced learned scholars, who factually know the constitutional position of this material world through realization
- Nothing can manifest itself in this material world which is not in Krsna. That is knowledge; although we know that things are differently situated, we should realize that everything flows from Krsna. BG 1972 purports
- Now your daughter has a very good opportunity to make final solution to her births in the material world, so keep her very nicely. Krishna will be kind upon you for this
O
- O most powerful, insurmountable Lord, who are kind to the fallen souls, I have been put into the association of demons as a result of my activities, and therefore I am very much afraid of my condition of life within this material world
- O Supersoul of all living entities, O Personality of Godhead (Kapiladeva), simply by seeing You I (Amsuman) have now been freed from all lusty desires, which are the root cause of insurmountable illusion and bondage in the material world
- Offering obeisances unto all you brahmanas, I pray that if I should again take my birth in the material world I will have complete attachment to the unlimited Lord Krsna, association with His devotees and friendly relations with all living beings
- One accepts different types of bodies within this material world. One first has to control the mind so that the desires of the mind can be purified
- One cannot be happy in any way within this material world. As stated in Bhagavad-gita - BG 8.16
- One cannot expect a very peaceful life within this material world. The sastra, the Vedic literature, says, padam padam yad vipadam (SB 10.14.58): at every step there is danger. But if one becomes a devotee, then one can escape - mayam etam taranti te
- One has to understand that in the material world of duality, to think that this is good or that this is bad is simply a mental concoction. One should not imitate this consciousness; one should actually be situated on the spiritual platform of neutrality
- One may aspire to elevate himself to a heavenly planet within the material world, such as the moon, the sun or Venus, but if one is spiritually advanced in Krsna consciousness, he does not wish to remain within the material universe
- One millennium means 4,300,000s of years. So multiply it, increase it by one thousand times, that is the duration of Brahmas one day. So it is beyond our mind and speculation; still, they are within the material world. So if you like, you can go there
- One person thinks in this way, and the other person is ready to fight, thinking that his seat is permanent. No one will be allowed to stay within this material world
- One should also have compassion for the people in general, who are suffering due to forgetfulness of Krsna. These important functions will make one happy within this material world
- One should know that beyond this material nature is another nature, which is spiritual. Just as there are material forms in this material world, there are spiritual forms in the spiritual world. This is confirmed by all Vedic literature
- One should not be misled by such temporary bodily conceptions. Actually no one is master within the material world, for everyone is under the control of material nature, which is under the control of the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- One should search out such pure devotees and remain with them. That will make one completely happy, even though living within the material world. This Krsna consciousness movement is started for that purpose
- One should understand that the wealth and opportunity one gets in the material world should not be squandered in sense gratification. They are meant for the advancement of Krsna consciousness
- One spoils an opulent position in the material world by driving cars, spending time in nightclubs or tasting abominable food in restaurants
- One who acts to serve Krsna with his body, mind, intelligence and words is a liberated person, even within this material world. - Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu 1.2.187
- One who has accepted a material body cannot be inactive, and sinful action is inevitable for one acting under the modes of material nature. Therefore all the living entities within this material world are punishable
- One who is in the modes of goodness, his foodstuff is different from the person in the modes of ignorance. Therefore we find so many varieties of foodstuff, varieties of taste. This is all within this material world
- One who is transferred to the spiritual world does not have to go up and down within this material world. Sometimes spiritual activities are also called paramesthyam
- One who knows the transcendental nature of My appearance and activities does not, upon leaving the body, take his birth again in this material world, but attains My eternal abode, O Arjuna. BG 4.9 - 1972
- One who possesses more in this material world, in the shape of houses, land, children, society, friendship and wealth, possesses these things only for the time being. One cannot possess all this illusory paraphernalia, created by maya, permanently
- One who relates this transcendental narration will be liberated from all material bondage and will no longer have to wander within this material world
- Opposed to such ignorance, full knowledge is the greatest achievement within this material world. We can practically see that one who has sufficient knowledge is saved from many dangerous pitfalls in life
- Our basic principle is pleasure. So whatever gives pleasure, we accept. That is natural. But in the material world, they take material pleasure, but we are for spiritual pleasure
- Our creation of friends and enemies within this material world is something like dreaming at night
- Out of fear of the SPG, the directing demigods in charge of the modes of material nature carry out the functions of creation, maintenance and destruction; everything animate and inanimate within this material world is under their control
P
- Pariksit said, "The conditioned souls within this material world are frustrated by searching out the pleasure of happiness derived from sense gratification. Such desires for material enjoyment are always piercing the hearts of conditioned souls"
- People are trying to become happy within the material world, but this is like trying to be happy in a forest fire
- People do not know that our only business is to take shelter of the lotus feet of Krsna. That is the only business. We have no other business. Any other business means we are becoming entangled in this material world
- Persons who are less intelligent think that when the Supreme Personality of Godhead comes within this material world He accepts the material qualities. Such conclusions are not very mature but are made by the less intelligent
- Please (Lord Nrsimhadeva) appear in our hearts and drive away our ignorance so that by Your mercy we may become fearless in the struggle for existence in this material world
- Prahlada Maharaja is the topmost example of a Vaisnava, who is always compassionate toward sinful persons suffering a hellish life within this material world

- The living entities are separated parts and parcels of the Lord, and the conditioned living entities, who are unfit for the spiritual kingdom, are strewn within the material world to enjoy matter to the fullest extent
- The living entities are therefore called jivatma, and the Supreme Lord is called Paramatma. Both the Paramatma and the jivatma are within this material world, and therefore this material world has a purpose other than sense gratification

- The Lord's impersonal feature is existent in the material world because by material senses or material eyes the Lord cannot be seen or perceived. One has to spiritualize the senses before one can expect to see or perceive the Supreme Lord
- The material nature produces all kinds of movable and immovable objects within the material world, but none of them can independently act or create without the direction of the Supreme Lord
- The material pangs are inevitable as long as we exist within the material world, but a devotee does not divert his attention to such actions and reactions, which are the results of pious and impious activities
- The material world is characterized by a struggle for existence, and survival of the fittest is a well-known principle, but the poor souls of this material world do not know what is survival and who is fit
- The mind makes the living entity within this material world wander through different species of life, and thus the living entity experiences mundane affairs in different forms as a human being, demigod, fat person, skinny person and so forth
- The miseries of life, namely birth, death, old age and diseases, are present everywhere within the material world. BG 1972 purports
- The mistaken living being, out of forgetfulness of this original condition of life, unnecessarily wastes time trying to become happy in the material world. The whole Vedic process is to remind one of this essential feature of life
- The most perfect way of life in this material world is simply to be devoted to My (Krsna's) transcendental loving service and to execute honestly the prescribed duties of one's particular position

- The process of destruction is going on according to the law of nature. Nothing within this material world can be permanent, although scientists, philosophers, workers and everyone else are trying to make things permanent
- The pure devotee ignites Krsna consciousness in the hearts of the conditioned souls, and thus the blazing fire of the spiritual world becomes manifest even within this material world
- The pure devotees of Lord Visnu may rest assured of the Lord's protection, and as long as they are in this material world they should fully engage in devotional service by preaching the cult of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu and Lord Krsna
- The purport is that Krsna is not impersonal. He has all the desires that are manifest in the perverted reflection within this material world. However, the qualities are different - one is spiritual, and the other is material

- The soul belongs to the Paradise, or heaven, or Krsna, but somehow or other he falls down within this material world, and he gets first a body like Adam

- The Supreme Lord is the ultimate goal for the solution to all problems within this material world. In the spiritual world there are no problems, but the material world is always problematic
- The Supreme Personality of Godhead is described herein (in SB 4.21.38) as mahattama-agranih. Within this material world, the mahattamas, or great personalities, are Lord Brahma and Lord Siva, but He is above them all
- The Supreme Personality of Godhead is directly and indirectly existing everywhere; He is outside this material creation, and He is also within it. He is within this material creation not only as Garbhodakasayi Visnu; He is also within the atom
- The Supreme Personality of Godhead is in a transcendental position, above everything created within this material world. His opulence, His riches, His beauty, His wisdom, His knowledge, His renunciation and His reputation are all universally purifying
- The Supreme Personality of Godhead is nirguna, not to be found within this material world, the entire material world is pervaded by Him, as stated in Bhagavad-gita - BG 9.4 - maya tatam idam sarvam
- The Supreme Personality of Godhead, in His various forms, is always present even within this material world, but the material qualities cannot touch Him. One can understand His position only by His instructions
- The temporary manifestations and varieties within this material world are simply creations of material nature under various circumstances

- The transcendentalists are concerned with the spiritual body. As such, by the strength of their devotional service, austerities, mystic power and transcendental knowledge, their movements are unrestricted, within and beyond the material worlds
- The universes within the material energy are called Devi-dhama, and within Devi-dhama the predominating Deity is Visnu, who is assisted by Brahma and Siva. Devi-dhama is controlled by three modes, namely goodness, passion, and ignorance
- The Visnu form called Ananta-sayana has thousands of hands and legs and thousands of eyes, and He is the active generator of all the incarnations within the material world
- The whole civilization is how to restrict this sex desire. Because the sex desire and sex life will keep him within this material world in different bodies, either as human being or as animal or as bird or as insect - so long there will be sex desire
- The word "materialist" means one concerned with gratification of the senses within this material world. Although Krsna later asked for this Syamantaka jewel, King Satrajit did not deliver it
- The word bhuja-lata-upagudha, meaning "being embraced by beautiful arms which are compared to creepers," describes the way the conditioned soul is bound within this material world. The products of sex life - sons and daughters - certainly follow

- The word moha means the false understanding that one is rich or poor. In this material world, the conception that one is very rich or very poor - or any such consciousness in connection with material existence - is false
- The word mukta refers to the living entities who never come within this material world. The baddhas are those living entities who are almost eternally living within this material world
- The word nr-loke, meaning "within the material world," indicates that before the Pandavas there had been many, many devotees, such as the descendants of the Yadu dynasty and Vasistha, Marici, Kasyapa, Brahma and Siva, who were all extremely fortunate
- The words divija and manuja specifically emphasize that the attraction of feminine gestures is powerful everywhere within this material world, both on this planet and in the higher planetary systems
- The words prakrteh param are used in this verse (SB 4.22.51) because everything within this material world is created by the external, material energy of the Lord, but the Lord Himself is not a creation of this material energy
- The words santaya kuta-sthaya sva-rocise are very significant. Although the Lord is within this material world, He is not disturbed by the waves of material existence

- There (in the spiritual world) the enjoyment is brahman, whereas here (in the material world) the enjoyment is jada. The Krsna consciousness movement is meant to train one how to transfer oneself from the jada to the Brahman
- There are different types of enemies within this material world
- There are four types of living entities born within this material world. Some are born by way of an embryo (jarayu ja), by way of eggs (anda ja), perspiration (sveda ja) and, like the trees, by way of seeds - udbhijja
- There are hundreds and thousands of plenary expansions of Visnu, such as Sankarsana, Pradyumna, Aniruddha and Vasudeva, but here in this material world, the Visvatma, the Supersoul for all living entities, is Ksirodakasayi Visnu
- There are innumerable universes in the material world, and there are innumerable Lord Brahmas, Lord Sivas and other demigods. All of them rotate within this material world under the supreme direction of the Personality of Godhead
- There are many instances of devotional service rendered by previous acaryas who did not care about social behavior when intensely absorbed in love for Krsna. Unfortunately, as long as we are within this material world, we must observe social customs
- There are many kinds of incarnations of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and the first incarnations within this material world are Brahma, Visnu and Mahesvara - Siva
- There are many people within this material world who desire liberation, and for this purpose they render devotional service to Lord Krsna
- There are many scientists and great workers in this material world who have wonderful creative force, but they act and create only according to the direction of the Supreme Lord
- There are no dangers for a devotee although he lives within this material world, which is full of dangers at every step. One should seek the shelter of the all-powerful instead of trying to be protected by one's own concocted ideas
- There are three functions within this material world. Everything here is created, everything is maintained for some time, and everything is finally dissolved

- There is no possibility of enjoying this transcendental parakiya-rasa within the material world. It is stated in Srimad-Bhagavatam that one should not imitate this parakiya-rasa even in dream or imagination. Those who do so drink the most deadly poison
- There is no question of following the principles of the Vedic system (in Vrajabhumi). Such principles are followed within this material world, and as long as one is on the material platform, he has to execute them

- These are our inquiries. The ordinary conditioned soul is subject to the material laws, and he thus receives the fruits of his actions. Do You, like an ordinary human being, exist within this material world in a body produced by the material modes?
- These elements (earth, water, fire, air and ether) in their gross and subtle states are produced by Krsna, whose marginal potency also produces the living entities working within this material world
- These five enjoyable relationships (namely neutrality, servitorship, friendship, filial love and amorous love) within the material world are perverted reflections of relationships with the Absolute Personality of Godhead in the transcendental nature
- They (demigods) were afraid of Hiranyakasipu. Thus we can simply imagine how powerful Hiranyakasipu was in this material world. But even Hiranyakasipu was cut into small pieces by the nails of Lord Nrsimha
- They (the jnanis) say, "Here we shall be happy," and their dharma, or religion, consists of trying to make a peaceful atmosphere within this material world
- This corresponds to the beginning of Lord Krsna's instructions in Bhagavad-gita. Tatha dehantara-praptih: (BG 2.13) within this material world, one is simply meant to change from one body to another in different planetary systems
- This is the atheistic theory, asatyam. They say that this material world is false. Brahma satyam jagan mithya. Jagat, jagat means this cosmic manifestation which is gacchati, going. In the material world, everything is going
- This is the case with anyone within this material world. No one can be equal to the Supreme Lord in anything, certainly not in knowledge. Consequently, anyone's prayer to the Supreme Personality of Godhead is never complete
- This krsna-katha will also be very much appealing to the most materialistic persons because Krsna's pastimes with the gopis (cowherd girls) are exactly like the loving affairs between young girls and boys within this material world
- This lack of Krsna consciousness is called ignorance. In Srimad-Bhagavatam (5.5.5) it is called parabhavas tavad abodha jatah. Everyone is born ignorant. The Bhagavatam therefore says that we are all born ignorant within this material world
- This material world is called dvaita, the world of duality. A devotee knows very well that everything within this material world is but a manifestation of the Supreme Lord's energy
- This planet (awarded to Dhruva Maharaja), although within the material world, will not be annihilated at the time of devastation, but will remain fixed in its place
- This portion is covered by the modes of material nature, and therefore the living entities are residing within this material world

- Those who are intelligent, they are not concerned any more with any planet within this material world. Because wherever you go, the four principles of material miseries, namely birth, death, old age and disease, will follow
- Those who are jealous and envious are within this material world, and those who are not are in the spiritual world. Therefore, we can test ourselves
- Those who are not faithful on the path of devotional service cannot attain Me, O conqueror of foes, but return to birth and death in this material world. BG 9.3 - 1972
- Those who are really conversant with this knowledge can utilize everything for the service of the Lord because nothing in this material world is unconnected with the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- Those who desire liberation by merging into the existence of God do not desire sense gratification within the material world
- Thus all living creatures within this material world, including Brahma, all the demigods and all the Raksasas, are to be considered modern. This means that they were all born recently

- To live within this material world, one must face many dangers, as described herein (SB 6.8.18). For example, undesirable food poses a danger to health, and therefore one must give up such food. The Dhanvantari incarnation can protect us in this regard
- Two energies are working in this material world: the spiritual energy and the material energy

- Uddhava continued, "When He (Krsna) appears within this material world He seems to act like an ordinary living entity under the spell of the modes of material nature. But in fact He is the overseer of this material creation"
- Under the direction of the spiritual master, one must cultivate bhakti-yoga (SB 7.5.23). Then, even within this material world, although the Lord is not visible, a devotee can see Him. This is confirmed in BG 18.55 and in SB 11.14.21

- Vaisnavas are destined to return home, back to Godhead, in the spiritual world, whereas the saktas are destined to live within this material world to enjoy different types of material happiness
- Vedic injunction is that don't stay within this dark material world. Just come to the illuminated world. Jyotir gamaya. The same thing Krsna also advises, that don't be allured to stay in any nice planet of this universe. Come out of it
- Vidura sarcastically addressed Dhrtarastra as the "King," which he was actually not. Everyone is the servant of eternal time, and therefore no one can be king in this material world. King means the person who can order
- Vrtrasura said: All living entities who have taken birth in this material world must die. Surely, no one in this world has found any means to be saved from death. Even providence has not provided a means to escape it

- We (King Nimi) are asking you (the Nine Yogendras) to tell us what is the most perfect welfare activity. I think that in this material world, association with devotees - even if it be for a moment - is the greatest treasure house for mankind
- We all, living entities within this material world, we are worshiper of the material nature. The scientist also trying to find out means how to exploit the resources of material nature. That is also one kind of worshiping
- We also have information from the Bhagavad-gita that all the planets within the material world, including Brahmaloka, are but temporarily situated, and after a fixed period they are all annihilated
- We are all prisoners within the material world, and some of us are first-class prisoners, and some of us second class, and some are third class
- We are seeking pleasure within this material world. That is imitation. That is not real enjoyment. But the basic principle of enjoyment is there. Here there is imitation enjoyment - love between young boy, young girl is there. So wherefrom it comes?
- We are the living entities within the material energy, and we are in this position because we wanted to dominate material nature. Krsna has given us the facility, saying - All right, you may try, but you cannot be successful
- We are under false consciousness. I am thinking, "I am Indian," you are thinking you are German, and the dog is thinking, "I am dog". So this bodily consciousness, bodily concept of life, will keep us conditioned within the material nature
- We artificially exhibit our propensity to enjoy this material world. So purusa means the enjoyer. Therefore sometimes we are called purusa. Here the living entities as a whole is called purusa. Even the woman, she is also purusa. Because the same spirit
- We cannot be happy within this cloud-covered material existence. We are spirit by nature. We are sparks, spiritual sparks. We have to associate with Krsna; then we can have our full-fledged
- We have come here within this material world to enjoy material resources. That is called pravrtti. And when we come to the platform of understanding that "I am not this body; I am soul," then my occupational duty changes
- What is that maya? Maya means to plan how to become materially happy. This is maya. All the people of the world, they are simply making plan how they will be happy within this material world. That's all. This is maya
- What is the difference between the spiritual world and the material world? The difference is that if you go to the spiritual world, then you will not return again in this material world
- Whatever we do here, within this material world, is some sort of sinful activity, even if we do not know it
- Whatever we see within this material world, that is only a fragment part of all the living entities. The major portion of the living entities, they are in the spiritual world
- When a person in this material world desires only to serve Krsna with love and devotion, he is liberated, even though functioning within this material world
- When Krsna comes within this material world, He does not become affected by the qualities, as we become. Therefore, those who are mudhas, those who are fools, they consider that Krsna is also a human being
- When one becomes free from all bodily relationships within this material world and simply places himself in the position of an eternal servant of the Supreme Lord, it is to be understood that all contamination of his material attachment has been burned
- When one becomes intelligent he takes to nivrtti-marga, the path of liberation, and thus instead of rotating within this material world, he returns home, back to Godhead. This is necessary
- When one can understand Krsna as He is (tattvatah), one actually lives in the spiritual world, although apparently living within the material body. This technical science can be understood when one is actually spiritually advanced
- When one is simply in the mode of ignorance, one becomes a devotee of Lord Siva because Lord Siva is the predominating deity of the mode of ignorance within this material world
- When one is situated within the material world, it is not possible to experience this Brahman effulgence. In other words, in the material world this effulgence is not manifested, whereas in the spiritual world it is manifested
- When the dehi, or the spirit soul, although by nature it is superior than the material nature, but still, because he's encaged within the material nature, he's forgetful of Krsna
- When the living entity falls down into the material world, the Supreme Lord, through His svamsa expansion (Paramatma), keeps company with the living entity
- When the mind is trained and the soul is not under the mind's control, the soul can be liberated even in this material world. When it is liberated, one is called jivan-mukta
- When the same relationships are pervertedly reflected in this material world, we have relationships as the sons, fathers, friends, lovers, masters or servants of others, but all these relationships are subject to termination within a definite period
- When we are within this material world it is very, very difficult to get out of it. You see the sky is covering the whole material universe, and there are different layers. You cannot go even to the nearest planet. Durga, very difficult

- Where is your science in that way (small seed grows into big banyan tree and fruits)? Where is that artist within this material world? Where is that pleasure of that artistic work? These things should be enquired. It is called athato brahma jijnasa
- While one is within this material world, one is in various conditions, and therefore a devotee sees a condition of distress as but another feature of the Lord. Tat te'nukampam susamiksamanah - SB 10.14.8
- Who is a fallen soul? Fallen soul means anyone who has taken birth in this material world, he is a fallen soul, never mind what he is. He may be Brahma or he may be an insignificant ant. Anyone who is within this material world
- Within the material world, every conditioned soul is in the darkness of ignorance. This means that all conditioned souls are under the concept of bodily existence
- Within the material world, there is nothing inconceivable
- Within the material worlds they (the transcendentalists) move in the planetary systems of the Mahar-, Janas-, Tapas- and Satya-loka, and beyond the material worlds they can move in the Vaikunthas as unrestricted spacemen
- Within this material world every planet, either Brahma or the small, insignificant ant, must die. Janma-mrtyu-jara-vyadhi-duhkha dosanudarsanam (BG 13.9). Everyone has to die. There is no excuse
- Within this material world he (Brahma) cannot avoid the distresses of birth, old age, disease and death. If one is at all serious about attaining liberation from these miseries, he must take to devotional service
- Within this material world the conditioned soul accepts different apartments, or different bodily forms, and then travels about
- Within this material world the conditioned soul has desires and acts in accordance with these desires. All these acts are observed by the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- Within this material world there are different grades of forms, and according to the grade, knowledge is proportionately manifested
- Within this material world there is a planet called Siddhaloka, whose inhabitants can go from one planet to another without the aid of a machine or space rocket
- Within this material world there is one Siddhaloka. Siddha, carana. They are called siddha, means all the yogic mystic powers they have got naturally
- Within this material world we are not eternal on account of material contamination. But time is eternal. Time is eternal; God is eternal; you are also eternal, living entity. Simply our work is not eternal. That can be changed
- Within this material world you cannot avoid these four principles of miserable condition: birth, death, old age and disease. That you cannot avoid, either you take your birth as Lord Brahma or take your birth as insignificant ant. These things will go on
- Within this material world, covered by the material body of subtle and gross matter, every living entity creates actions and reactions, which are herein known allegorically as sons and grandsons
- Within this material world, everything is nonpermanent, temporary. Anything you take, it has got its creation, it stays for some time, it produces some by-products, then it grows, and then it dwindles, and then it vanishes
- Within this material world, one should understand by practical experience the value of material opulence, longevity and influence

- You (Krsna) are the same Supreme Personality of Godhead, who have now appeared, with full potency, for the benefit of all living entities within this material world - SB 10.10.34-35
- You (Visnudutas) are sinless, but those within this material world are all karmis, whether acting piously or impiously. Both kinds of action are possible for them because they are contaminated by the three modes of nature and must act accordingly
- You are actually the only maintainer of all human beings, of animals like cows and asses, and of plants, reptiles, birds, mountains and whatever else is visible within this material world
- You are in the midst of unfavorable circumstances as much as you were when you were in Pakistan. So Krishna is desiring that you deliver these persons who are in very awkward circumstances within this material world
- You can never be happy in this material world, but you are trying to become happy in so many politician, social workers, this and that, simply wasting their time. They cannot be. You have to accept the leadership of Krsna. Then you will be happy
- You cannot expect any peaceful life in this material world. That is not possible. Therefore in all conditions, in order to execute Krsna consciousness, you must be tolerant
- You cannot make any permanent settlement within this material world. That is not possible. The nature is made so, whatever you do, for the time being you relish, but time will come, you will be kicked off from your position
- You have advented Yourself to fulfill Your own statement that You come within this material world just to protect the principles of religion and annihilate unwanted miscreants
- You know everything about this creation and its beginning, maintenance and annihilation, and You know all the endeavors made by the living entities, by which they are either implicated in this material world or liberated from it
- You may understand from me that the individual souls are everywhere, means, anywhere you go within this material world there are individual living entities
- You rot in this material world in this hellish condition of life. That instruction you'll get in the colleges and universities. But Krsna's instruction is different. He'll give you instruction to go back to home and back to Godhead
- You teach us that those who are very fond of children within this material world and who enter into marriage to enjoy family life can have the Supreme Personality of Godhead as their child, the most wonderful thing is that the Lord Himself licks His toe
- Your Lordship, being the origin of the life of this material world, is the master and controller of the living entities, both moving and stationary, and you inspire their consciousness
- Your problem is how to be reestablished again as eternal. Because we are eternal. Some way or other, we have fallen in this material world. Therefore, we have to accept birth and death
- Yudhisthira said, "By performing Rajasuya-Yajna, I wish to satisfy all the demigods, who are Your empowered representatives within this material world & I wish that You will kindly help me in this great venture so that it may be successfully executed"
