- Death means, according to Vedic literature, sleeping for seven months. Just as I give up this body, I have to enter into the womb of some kind of mother. These things are explained in the Vedic literatures. I am not manufacturing

- If somebody is going somewhere in this Tokyo city. I have to say something. So I apply him, - Will you kindly carry this message to him? Similarly, Krsna deputes some of His confidential devotees to help the people to become Krsna conscious
- If you don't accept other authority, and who is going to accept your authority? Why shall I? You cannot become authority that, "I don't accept any authority." I have to follow that? Then you become authority
- If you think that "I am serving for my sense gratification: I have to eat, I have to sleep, I must have sex and I must defend . . ." These are the necessities of the body. These necessities are there in the animal form of life also
- If you think that "It is hackneyed, it is troublesome, but what can I do? These people ask me to do it. I have to do it," that is not Krsna consciousness
- If you want to save somebody who's drowning, you must know that, I may not be washed away. I have to remain strong; then I can save him
- In this material world I have to protect myself. Nobody can give me protection. Therefore how I can take protection? That is atma-tattvam. That is understanding Krsna. That is Krsna consciousness movement

- Krsna as cowherd boy was running with his train. I have to take. And Jagannatha was snatching her cloth. They are very poisonous things. I was never fortunate with such incidences. I am simply trying to carry out the order of my Guru Maharaja. That's all

- Maharaja Pariksit was cursed by a brahmana that he would die within seven days, and he was preparing. He was preparing himself because, "I have to meet death." But we are so forward that we do not think of our death
- More machine means more diversion of attention. I have to take care, more technician, more technologies. Simply if one razor can shave, can make my cheek very clean, where is the necessity
- My joyfulness is covered by this material understanding. So I have to remove this material understanding; then again I shall become joyful

- Not that I have to study Krsna in my own way. Krsna is not subjected to your examination or your test. He is above all. He is transcendental. Therefore those who have not the transcendental vision, they misunderstand Krsna

- One may go to hell, one may go to heaven, or one may go back home, back to Godhead, as one likes. Therefore an intelligent person should think, - If I have to prepare for my next life, why not prepare to go back home, back to Godhead
- One teacher can manage hundreds of students of different categories. This is organization. Not that "Everything I have to do. I cannot teach anybody to do it," that is not intelligence. Intelligence is that employ other to help you

- So long we remain forgetful where our service should be given, that is called material life. When we come to that consciousness that, "I have to serve Krsna," that is spiritual life. That is difference between material life and spiritual life
- Sometimes, the politicians and others, everyone thinks (this is not yet finished. I have to do this), so he again comes back to such a, I mean to say, favorable type of body and again executes this. This is going on. This is called material life
- Suppose as business man, I've done very nicely. I have given in charity. That's nice. You get better life. But for business sake, I have earned money by hook and crook, my mentality's just like crocodile or dog; then I have to become a crocodile
- Suppose if I go to consult some lawyer, I have to pay. If I want to consult some medical practitioner, I have to pay. So this is obligation. This is no mercy; this is obligation
- Suppose you live for three thousand years, what you will gain if you remain ignorant? Better live for a few years and understand that - This material world is worse. I have to go to the spiritual world and meet Krsna

- That (sex) is my ambition. That's all. I am less than dog. Dog gets opportunity of sex life in the street without any working hard, but I will have to work hard to enjoy the same thing. So I am less than dog
- The animals have no concern to understand this philosophy of life that, I am not this body; I am spirit soul. I am encaged. Somehow or other I have to get out of this entanglement and be again reinstalled in my original consciousness
- They want to make permanent settlement here but forget that "Any moment, I shall be kicked out of this situation. I shall have to accept another situation." That is the lack of education in the modern civilization

- Try to understand the distinction between material and spiritual. Material means I have to act. Acting means I have to act with my senses, with my desires, with my thinking, feeling, willing, so many things, because that is original

- We are spirit souls, aham brahmasmi. We have nothing to do with this material world. But somehow or other, I am in contact. So simply I have to be contactless
- We don't require to work. Everything is there for my enjoyment. But because we are now in this avidya, ignorance, this material darkness, therefore I have to work
