- Maya is very strong & we can fall a victim at her hand at any moment. The only means of protecting us from the attack of maya is to be fully Krishna Conscious

- The fall of Duryodhana, the leading son of Dhrtarastra, was not pleasing to the Lord, although He (Krsna) was on the side of Arjuna and it was He who advised Bhima how to break the thighs of Duryodhana while the fight was going on
- The false ego of the living being trying to lord it over the material nature is something like the moth's falling in a blazing fire. The moth is captivated by the glaring beauty of the fire, and when he comes to enjoy it, the blazing fire consumes him

- When Indra, the defeater of enemies, released his infallible thunderbolt scepter at Bali Maharaja with a desire to kill him, Bali Maharaja indeed fell to the ground with his airplane, like a mountain with its wings cut off
- When Jarasandha fell, Bhimasena immediately pressed one of Jarasandha's legs to the ground and took hold of the other leg with his two hands
- When King Citraketu heard of his son's death from unknown causes, he became almost blind. Because of his great affection for his son, his lamentation grew like a blazing fire, & as he went to see the dead child, he kept slipping and falling on the ground
- When Krsna left Vrndavana for Mathura, everyone in Vrndavana fell dead out of separation from Him
- When Krsna struck the cart the wheels separated from the axle, the hubs and spokes fell apart, and the pole of the handcart broke. On the cart there were many little utensils made of various metals, and all of them scattered hither & thither - SB 10.7.7

- You cannot follow; therefore you say, "Is it necessary?" You are considering. That means you are becoming prey to maya. As soon as you ask this, that means you have already fallen a victim of maya
- You just become devotee of Lord Caitanya. I am flattering you, I am falling down on your feet - this is preaching. If one is doing like that, Krsna immediately recognizes. So if you are recognized by Krsna, then what you want more
- You work hard, but what is your aim of life? Simply sense gratification. It is falling life. Jivasya tattva-jijnasa
