- Actually it is not your land; it is God's land. The land was there before you came here, and still there. And maybe after some hundred years or so you may vacate, and somebody may come. This is going on

- Because they (materialistic people) deny the existence of God, illusion impels them: Yes, there is no God. Work hard and commit sins so that you may go to hell
- Before asking me, if you give me, "I think you may require a glass of water," that is friendship. Friendship means feeling friend's welfare always. Suhrt. Friendship is not simply chatting. Friendship means thinking, "How my friend will be happy?"
- Belief is the basic principle of understanding. You may believe the scientists, or you may believe the Vedas. It is up to you which source you believe
- Bhagavad-gita points out that you may feel very happy with your so-called material senses, but you should see to the real problem of life, janma-mrtyu-jara-vyadhi: birth, death, old age and disease
- Bhagavata says that whatever capacity you may have, either you are a scientist or a lawyer or an engineer or a rich man, a capitalist, whatever you may be. Your duty is to utilize your talent for Krsna consciousness. That's all

- Cintam aparimeyam ca. Your cinta will not act. You may think for the safety or satisfaction, but that does not mean we should neglect our duty. But as far as possible we should be detached
- Culture and business means you may do whatever business you are doing, according to your division, or according to your capacity. But if you want perfection in your business, then you must try to satisfy the Supreme Personality of Godhead. That is culture

- Daiva means godly. You may arrange everything, but if God is against you, in spite of your all arrangement, everything will be failure. That is described in the Bhagavad-gita
- Dark well means a very deep ditch, well, but it is covered with grass. You cannot know that there is a deep well, but while walking, you may fall down within it
- Death is already there. You might have atomic energy or no atomic energy - you have to die. By atomic energy you are accelerating the same problem of death, that's all
- Don't falsely claim that "Because I am qualitatively one with God, therefore I am God." No. You may be god. God means controller. But you are not the Supreme God. The Supreme God is Krsna

- He said, "Go quickly and massage the Lord's feet, You may tell Him, The Pandita has just sat down to take his meal"
- He will carry Your waterpot and garments. You may do whatever You like; he will not say a word

- O Arjuna, whatever you wish to see, behold at once in this body of Mine! This universal form can show you whatever you now desire to see and whatever you may want to see in the future
- O King with eyes like the petals of a lotus, kindly come sit down and accept whatever reception we can offer. We have a supply of nivara rice that you may kindly take. And if you so desire, stay here without hesitation

- The doorkeeper said, "Just see! Here is the best of the Personalities of Godhead. From here You may see the Lord to the full satisfaction of Your eyes"
- The Lord (Krsna) promises, kaunteya pratijanihi na me bhaktah pranasyati: O Arjuna, you may declare to the world that the devotees of the Lord are never vanquished - BG 9.31
- The Lord has confirmed this statement (that God is always ready to give protection to His servitors) in the Bhagavad-gita by assuring Arjuna - You may declare to the world, My devotee shall never be vanquished

- You have got freedom. You may serve the Lord, you may not serve. That is your freedom. But if you serve the Lord, then you become happy. If you do not serve the Lord, then you become unhappy
- You have made me lose my sons once, and now you have again done the same inauspicious thing. Therefore you are a rascal who does not know how to behave toward others. You may travel all over the universe, but I curse you to have no residence anywhere
- You have to find out pratikaram, counteraction, how to save yourself from danger. Just like when we walk, we see in so many doors, "Danger," so that you may be . . . you are warned. Sometimes the doors are, "Beware of the dog." So you have to take care
- You may advertise yourself or I may advertise myself, "I am a great religious person," but the test is how much you have learned to love God, how much you have advanced in that process
- You may also accept iron as gold. That is your ignorance: you do not know what gold is. But if you actually know what God is, you will accept Krsna as God. There is no doubt about it
- You may be a brahmana, you may be a ksatriya, you may be a sudra. It doesn't matter. If you act according to the order of Krsna, by the order of Krsna, then your karma will not entangle you. Because or you are doing according to the order of Krsna

- You may be industrial administrator or engineer you make your profession perfect. And that perfection is achieved by satisfying the SPG by your profession. Just like Arjuna: He was a soldier. He knew how to fight. So by his profession he satisfied Krsna
- You may be joyful for the time being by drinking or by intoxication, but how long? So long the intoxication influence is there, you may feel something. That is artificially. But that is not actually the state of joyfulness

- You may be very much advanced in scientific knowledge, but you cannot stop death. That is not possible. Neither you can stop old age, neither you can stop birth
- You may be very much proud of your scientific advancement of knowledge, but here is the real science. If you can overcome birth, death, old age and disease, then you can say your science is triumphant

- You may call the Vedas Hindu, but "Hindu" is a foreign name. We are not Hindus. Our real identification is varnasrama. Varnasrama denotes the followers of the Vedas, those who accept the human society in eight divisions of varna and asrama

- You may go on for some time trying to become happy, but happiness will never come from materialistic life. That is a fact. Those who are trying to be happy by making material adjustments cannot take to Krsna consciousness
- You may have a very good spiritual master, but if you have no power to inquire, then you cannot make progress. Inquiries must be there
- You may have a very nice Rolls-Royce car, but you are nothing but an ass because you do not know your interest of life
- You may have experience that there is a bird which is called a parrot. The parrot's body is green, and his beak is red. The specific qualification of the parrot is that whatever you say he can imitate
- You may have faith in Hinduism; tomorrow you may have faith in Christianism. Or you may have faith in Christianism, tomorrow in Muhammadan . . . This kind of faith is not Krsna consciousness
- You may have solved all other problems. Very good. But what about your birth, death, disease and old age? These are the intelligent questions. We have to answer. We have to make solution
- You may have some faith, but the law is different. So faith, a dogmatic faith, is not religion. To know the real law, this is definition of religion
- You may have some qualities, very minute quality of God, but you cannot claim that you are God. The same example: the small spark of fire is also fire. A small particle of gold is gold, but it cannot be compared with the gold mine. That is not possible
- You may have very big, big universities, educational system, but the production will be hopeless, confused hippies. That's all - From the very beginning, the whole system should be changed, rascal civilization
- You may have very good arrangement for producing food, machinery; but still, if the land or earth does not produce food, this tractor or all other arrangements will be failure. We should know the supply of things are in the hands of the material nature
- You may know that he is not a liberated person, and therefore, he cannot initiate any person to Krishna Consciousness. It requires special spiritual benediction from higher authorities
- You may live for fifty years, or sixty years, or utmost hundred years; then you'll be kicked out. But they do not know that life is eternal
- You may live very honestly - you may do your duty very honestly - in spite of all these things, because you are not taking to Krsna consciousness, you are simply being defeated
