- Samskara means purificatory process. So that is human life, not that to beget a child. That begetting is going on by the cats and dogs. That is first birth. Janmana jayate sudrah. So that kind of birth is accepted as sudra. Then he can be trained up
- Sannyasa means perfectly no more sex life. Vana . . . it begins from vanaprastha, retired. It is taught in the brahmacari. Only in the grhastha, restricted sex life; only for begetting nice children. Otherwise, no sex life

- That is the real father and mother: who begets children and make him devotee. That is real father and mother. Otherwise, cats and dogs
- The age is so fallen that if one can maintain one wife and a few children, oh, he is Daksa Maharaja. Daksa Maharaja is called . . . Daksa means he was very expert in begetting children and maintaining them
- The father and mother should have determination that - The child I produce, I give birth, if I cannot teach him Krsna conscious, surrender to Krsna, I shall not beget any child
- The first samskara, the garbhadhana-samskara, or child-begetting samskara, is compulsory, especially for the higher castes, the brahmanas and the ksatriyas
