- Mahabharata especially was written for three classes of men. What are those? Stri, sudra, dvija-bandhu. Stri means woman, sudra means worker class, and dvija-bandhu means persons who have taken their birth in higher caste, but they're degraded
- Mahabharata is Pancama-veda, the fifth Veda. Stri-sudra-dvija-bandhunam trayi na sruti-gocara (SB 1.4.25). Woman and sudra and dvija-bandhu, they cannot understand Vedic language. It is difficult. For them Vyasadeva made Mahabharata
- Maitreya continued: After the departure of her parents, the chaste woman Devahuti, who could understand the desires of her husband, served him constantly with great love, as Bhavani, the wife of Lord Siva, serves her husband

- That (God's loving propensity) is pure, and here it is impure on account of this material contamination. The thing (man loving woman) is there, but it is contaminated. Therefore you feel frustration

- The great saint Sankaracarya has described the breasts of women, especially young women, as nothing but a combination of muscles and blood

- The man in the renounced order of life has no wife and may be driven by sex desire to seek another woman or another's wife and thus go to hell
