- The Vedic 'apani-pada' mantra rejects material hands and legs, yet it states that the Lord goes very fast and accepts everything offered to Him

- This mantra states that the instructions of vidya (knowledge) must be acquired from a dhira. A dhira is one who is not disturbed by material illusion. No one can be undisturbed unless he is perfectly spiritually realized

- Vedic literature states that there is nothing superior to the abode of the Supreme Godhead, and that that abode is the ultimate destination. BG 1972 purports
- Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura has stated that the order of the spiritual master is the life and soul of the disciples
