- A devotee is simply interested in the supreme eternal, Sri Krsna. The Supreme Lord is the supreme leader of the nityas, the eternal living entities. We are all nityas, eternal, and Krsna guides and plays with us
- A devotee who wishes to advance in Krsna consciousness must have knowledge of Krsna's personal form, His three principal energies, His pastimes and the relationship of the living entities with Him
- A karma-yogi views everything in relation to the Absolute, and therefore he engages everything in the transcendental service of the Absolute. He observes all living entities as so many transcendental servitors of the absolute Godhead, Sri Krsna
- A living entity can live either on the material plane or in the transcendental abode of the Lord, in accordance with his existential condition
- A living entity is eternally a servant and that unless one serves Krsna one has to serve illusion in different varieties of the three modes of material nature, and thus perpetually one has to wander within the cycle of birth and death. BG 1972 Preface
- A living entity is so made by the will of the Almighty (Krsna) that he is most happy when placing himself in a condition of absolute dependence
- A living entity is subjected to be deluded by maya. But Krsna is not deluded by maya. That is the difference between Krsna and living entity
- A living entity must have independence, although it is very little, minute. That Krsna does not touch. He'll never touch. You'll have to agree, "Yes, Krsna, I shall surrender unto You. Yes. That is for my benefit." This is Krsna consciousness
- A living entity who desires sayujya-mukti remains in Krsna's Brahman effulgence, which is dependent on Krsna's body (brahmano hi pratisthaham). Such an impersonalist who takes shelter of the Brahman effulgence must surely fall down
- A particle of gold is also gold, a drop of water from the ocean is also salty, similarly, the living entities, being part and parcel of the supreme controller, isvara, or Bhagavan, Krsna, have all the qualities of the Supreme Lord. BG 1972 Introduction
- A third reason for His coming is to establish real religion (dharma-samsthapanarthaya). Thus Sri Krsna's purpose for coming is threefold: He protects His devotees, vanquishes the demonic, and establishes the real religion of the living entity
- A Vaisnava, or a devotee of Lord Narayana, sees every living entity as part and parcel of the Supreme Lord. Therefore, a Vaisnava's treatment of other living entities is on the absolute platform
- Above all other living entities is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Krsna, or Purusottama, who is always liberated from all material conditions
- Abrahma-bhuvana-stham. Abrahma. For a devotee, as Brahma is also living entity, a small ant is also living entity, all Krsna's parts and parcels; they have no quarrel with anybody. As Krsna's part and parcel, we offer respect to everyone
- According to Lord Krsna in the Bhagavad-gita (BG 15.7): The living entities in this conditioned world are My eternal fragmental parts. Due to conditioned life, they are struggling very hard with the six senses, which include the mind
- Actually any living entity, being part and parcel of Krsna, is Krsna. All the Vedas, therefore, aim only toward Krsna. BG 1972 purports
- Actually the whole world is full of Krsna's singing, but it is appreciated in different ways by different kinds of living entities. This is confirmed in the Bhagavad-gita: ye yatha mam prapadyante tams tathaiva bhajamy aham (BG 4.11)
- Actually, Krishna is kind to everyone, but when He sees that a living entity is becoming a little serious to make perfection in life, then Krishna takes special care to give such living entity all necessary facilities
- Actually, the living entity has no capacity to lord it over the forces of nature. The living entity becomes subjugated by the modes of nature as soon as he tries to put himself into the position of Sri Krsna, the supreme enjoyer
- After Krsna's disappearance, less intelligent people misunderstood Him. They became contaminated with the Mayavadi philosophy, which produced so many mental speculators that people forgot the actual position of the Absolute Truth and the living entity
- Akrura continued, "My dear Lord, all living entities, including different grades of demigods and different grades of overlords, kings and other living entities, are resting in You as parts and parcels of the big unit"
- Akrura continued, "When people deviate from the original knowledge of the Vedas, they try to identify the ordinary living entities with Your Lordship (Krsna and Balarama)"
- Akrura continued, "You (Krsna and Balarama) are not implicated in the activities of those material qualities, for Your supreme knowledge is never overcome like the knowledge of the individual living entity"
- Akrura continued, "Your (Krsna's) appearance is necessary to reestablish actual Vedic knowledge, as opposed to the atheistic philosophy which tries to establish that God and the living entities are one and the same"
- Akrura continued, "Your Lordship (Krsna and Balarama) have appeared on this earth in Your original form to reestablish the real knowledge that the living entities are neither one with nor equal to the Supreme God"
- Akrura said, "Although the minds of those who are devotees of the demigods are fixed on a particular demigod, because You (Krsna) are the Supersoul of all living entities, including the demigods, worship of the demigods indirectly goes to You"
- All living entities are part and parcel of Krsna. By Krsna it should always be remembered that we are speaking of God, Krsna denoting the all-attractive Supreme Personality of Godhead
- All living entities in different life forms are sons of Krsna. Therefore they are all meant to serve Krsna, the original supreme father
- All living entities other than the impersonalists and monists can directly take to devotional service in full Krsna consciousness and become liberated by developing transcendental loving service to the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- All people will find Him (Krsna) attractive. Who is not attracted? just give an example: "This man or this living entity is not attracted to Krsna." Just find such a person
- All the external activities of his (Bhismadeva) senses at once stopped, and he prayed transcendentally to the controller (Krsna) of all living beings while quitting his material body
- All the incarnations of the Supreme Personality of Godhead - but especially Lord Ramacandra, Lord Krsna and, later, Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu - delivered many of the living entities present before Them, indeed almost all of them
- All the inhabitants of Vrndavana came out of the village to see Krsna. The assembly consisted of children, old men, women, animals and all living entities; they knew that Krsna was their only means of sustenance
- Although all beings in the universe are resting in Krsna's energy, still they are not in Him. Krsna is maintaining all living entities, and His energy is all-pervading, yet He is elsewhere. This is Krsna's inconceivable mystic power
- Although He (Krsna) is the oldest of all living entities, He has His eternal form as a fresh youth. The exact words used in this connection in Srimad-Bhagavatam are vijnanam ajnana-bhidapamarjanam
- Although I am (Krsna) unborn and My transcendental body never deteriorates, and although I am the Lord of all living entities, by My internal energy I still appear in every millennium in My original transcendental form
- Although Jambavan was the strongest living entity of that time, practically all the joints of his bodily limbs became slackened and his strength was reduced practically to nil, for he was struck constantly by the fists of Sri Krsna
- Although the living entity in the womb promises to worship Krsna, when he is delivered from the womb he does not fulfill his promise
- And yet everything that is created does not rest in Me. Behold My mystic opulence! Although I am the maintainer of all living entities, and although I am everywhere, still My Self is the very source of creation. BG 9.5 - 1972
- Another gopi said, "Dear Krsna, dear friend, we know very well that You are not actually the son of mother Yasoda or the cowherd man Nanda Maharaja. You are the Supreme Personality of Godhead and the Supersoul of all living entities"
- Another gopi said, "Great demigods like Lord Brahma and Lord Siva are always engaged in chanting the glories of Your (Krsna's) words. They do so to eradicate the sinful activities of all living entities in the material world"
- Any action done for Krsna, is to be considered the highest welfare work for everyone, because the benefit of such an offering is distributed throughout the creation. Love for Krsna is distributed to all living entities
- Any living entity is part and parcel of Krsna. Just like this child is the part and parcel of his father, you are part and parcel of your father
- Arjuna has accepted Krsna as the Supreme Personality of Godhead and the supreme abode of all living entities, not only because of his personal experience but also because of the evidences of great authorities like Narada, Asita, Devala & Vyasa. BG 1972 p
- Arjuna, as a devotee, does not depend on his speculative strength; rather, he admits his limitations as a living entity and acknowledges Krsna's inestimable position. BG 1972 purports
- As explained in the next verse (SB 5.18.12), Krsna is the original source of all living entities
- As far as the avesa-rupa is concerned, when Krsna empowers some suitable living entity to represent Him, that living entity is called avesa-rupa or saktyavesa-avatara
- As far as we can conceive, the space which contains the universe is the greatest, but Krsna has shown millions of universes in His mouth. The greatness of God cannot be comprehended by the living entities, who are part and parcel of God
- As for those who are impersonalists and who want to commit spiritual suicide by annihilating the individual existence of the living entity, Krsna helps also by absorbing them into His effulgence. BG 1972 purports
- As Hrsikesa, or the director of the senses and mind of every living entity, Krsna could understand Arjuna's purpose in placing the chariot in the midst of the armies. Thus He did so. BG 1972 purports
- As Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, binds a living entity in fruitive activities, He binds mother Yasoda and Nanda Maharaja in parental affection. This is His pastime
- As living entities, we are eternal. So temporary business is not our business. Our business should be eternal because we are eternal. And that eternal business is how to serve Krsna
- As mentioned in the Varaha Purana, He expands Himself in visnu-tattva (the svamsa expansion) and in His marginal potency (the vibhinnamsa, or the living entity)
- As parts and parcels of the Supreme Lord (Krsna), the individual living entities can also possess all of these qualities in minute quantities, provided they become pure devotees of the Lord
- As stated in Bhagavad-gita, Krsna is the real friend of every living entity, and we have to revive our friendship with Him. The method for reviving this friendship is the process of Krsna consciousness
- As the father impregnates the mother by injecting the living entity within the womb, Krsna injects all the living entities into the womb of the material nature
- As the ideal Supreme Personality, He (Krsna) fulfilled the desires of everyone, from the brahmanas, the highest persons in human society, down to the ordinary living entities, including the lowest of men
- As the Lord says in Bhagavad-gita (BG 15.7): "The living entities in this conditioned world are My (Krsna's) eternal, fragmental parts. Due to conditioned life, they are struggling very hard with the six senses, which include the mind"
- As the Supersoul of all living entities, Lord Krsna could understand what was going on in the mind of Arjuna. The use of the word Hrsikesa in this connection (BG 1.25) indicates that He knew everything. BG 1972 purports
- As the Supersoul within the heart of all living entities, Krsna knows everyone’s desire, everyone’s request and everyone’s prayer. Although all these may be contradictory, the Lord has to create a situation in which everyone will be pleased
- As the supreme father of all living entities, Krsna wants His sons to return home, back to Godhead; therefore He personally comes to deliver Vedic literatures like the Bhagavad-gita
- As the Supreme Lord puts the living entity into the condition of horrible existence, He can also deliver him, and therefore one should seek shelter at the lotus feet of Krsna
- Aside from the rivers, the trees standing on the banks like great ascetics and engaging in welfare activities for all living entities drink the nectar of Krsna's lips by drawing water from the river with their roots
- At that time, when Krsna and Balarama, along with Their wives, children and relatives, sat down in that great sacrificial arena, it appeared that the SP of Godhead was present along with all the living entities and multienergies that are part of Him
- At the same time, the living entities are born from the transcendental body of the Lord
- Atha puruso ha vai narayano 'kamayata prajah srjeya ity upakramya - Then the Supreme Personality Narayana desired to create living entities. BG 1972 purports
B
- Because Krsna comes down as human being, we, due to our lack of knowledge, poor fund of knowledge, we think Krsna is as good as we are. But actually it is not. Krsna is God. We are ordinary living entities
- Because Krsna is Krsna, He is apapa-viddha - He cannot be attacked by sinful reactions. But a living entity is sometimes subjected to their influence because he is so small
- Because Krsna wants to give transcendental bliss to the living entities, He appears in various forms. Therefore He is called Krsna
- Because Krsna's appearance & disappearance are completely different from that of any ordinary, common living entity, it is evident that He is eternal, blissful knowledge by His internal potency & He is never contaminated by material nature. BG 1972 pur
- Because of your honest desire, all living entities within the universe will be delivered, for Krsna does not have to do anything to deliver all the living entities of the universe
- Because the living entities are His (Lord Krsna) parts and parcels, originally they also belong to the same quality of eternal form as the Lord
- Before the creation there was no Brahma or Siva. There was only Krsna. Krsna therefore says, aham adir hi devanam (BG 10.2). He is the creator of all demigods and all other living entities
- Beginning from Brahma, the topmost intelligent living entity within the universe, down to the smallest ant, every living entity's intelligence is overseen by the Lord in His transcendental position as the witness of all actions
- Besides these sixty transcendental qualities, Krsna has four more, which are not manifest even in the Narayana form of Godhead, not to speak of the demigods or living entities
- Besides this inferior nature, O mighty-armed Arjuna, there is a superior energy of Mine, which are all living entities who are struggling with material nature and are sustaining the universe. BG 7.5 - 1972
- Bhagavad-gita (BG 15.15): "I (Krsna) am seated in everyone's heart, and from Me come remembrance, knowledge and forgetfulness." The Lord is present in everyone's heart, and He gives the living entity intelligence
- Bhagavan indicates that Krsna is the proprietor of six opulences: He possesses all beauty, all wealth, all power, all fame, all knowledge and all renunciation. Living entities partake of these opulences in finite degrees
- Both Krsna and the living entity are sitting in one tree. That is stated in the Upanisad. Two birds are sitting in one tree. One is eating the fruit of the tree and other is simply witnessing
- Both pious and impious activities are actually due to ignorance because a living entity, as an eternal servant of Krsna, has no need to act for his personal sense gratification
- Both the living entity and the Supreme Lord have original, spiritual forms (sac-cid-ananda-vigraha), but the Lord, the Supreme, does not change His form
- Both the Supreme Lord and the living entities enter into the material nature. The Supreme Lord, Krsna, by one of His plenary expansions, manifests as Karanodakasayi, Maha-Visnu, the gigantic Visnu form lying in the Causal Ocean
- Brahma is the first creature in this universe. He is the first living entity. He accepts his inability to understand about Krsna, and what to speak of others
- By His (Krsna's) external energetic expansions, He incarnates Himself in the material world amongst the men, animals or demigods to reestablish His forgotten relation with the living entities in different species of life
- By internal energetic bewilderment, Sri Krsna expands Himself into unlimited numbers of Narayanas and exchanges or accepts transcendental loving service from the living entities in the transcendental world
- By proper use of the independence he (the living entity) comes under the direct order of Krsna. Thus he attains his normal condition in the pleasure-giving potency. BG 1972 purports
D
- Demigods are also living entities and parts and parcels of Krsna. Therefore in one sense one worships Krsna when one worships the demigods, but not in the proper way
- Desire cannot be completely absent because I am living entity. So my desire should be not to forget Krsna. That's all, that one desire. That is real desire. All other desires, they are foolish. We cannot be desireless, but we should desire only bona fide
- Desiring to expand Himself (Krsna) in multiforms, He glanced over the material energy, and thus innumerable living entities became manifest
- Devotional service to Krsna is the chief function of the living entity. There are different methods for the liberation of the conditioned soul - karma, jnana, yoga and bhakti - but all are dependent on bhakti
- Devotional service to Krsna is the real treasure house for the living entity
- Due to the intimate relationship between the soul and the body, the body is important and dear to everyone. Similarly, the soul, being part and parcel of Krsna, the Supreme Lord, is very, very dear to all living entities
E
- Even if one knows Krsna as the supreme controller of all living entities, still one may not know that He is the origin of all the demigods; therefore He is addressed herein (in BG 10.15) as Devadeva, the worshipful God of all demigods. BG 1972 purports
- Even Lord Krsna Himself cannot reach the limit of the transcendental qualities of Srimati Radharani. How, then, can an insignificant living entity count them
- Even the millions of incarnations are only His (Krsna's) different expansions. Similarly, the living entities are also expansions of Krsna. BG 1972 purports
- Every child is the part and parcel of the father. Similarly Krsna, the Supreme Lord, God, we all living entities, we are sons, or part and parcel of God. Qualitatively we are one. Just like a small particle of gold is also gold
- Every living entity is an eternal part and parcel of Krsna in spiritual identity, and that the eternal position of the living entity is therefore never on the level of Krsna or greater than Him
- Every other living entity is forced to accept a certain type of body by his previous actions. But when Krsna appears, He always appears in a body that is not forced upon Him by the action of His past deeds
- Everyone, the whole world, the whole universe, all living entities, they are trying to love Krsna. Krsna-prema
F
- For all living entities to be attracted toward Krsna is natural, and therefore the Lord's real name is Krsna, meaning He who attracts everyone and everything
- For any living entity who has taken shelter of the holy lotus feet of the Lord, nothing is impossible
- For example, as there is no separation between fire and air, there is no separation between Krsna and the living entities. When the living entities forget Krsna, they are not in their normal condition
- For iron to be attracted by a magnet is natural. Similarly, for all living entities to be attracted toward Krsna is natural, and therefore the Lord's real name is Krsna, meaning He who attracts everyone and everything
- Forgetfulness of transcendental relationship between the living entity and the Personality of Godhead has created a false sense of everyone's being a miniature Krsna, who tries to enjoy the world to his best capacity
- Forgetting Krsna, the living entity has been attracted by the external feature from time immemorial. Therefore the illusory energy (maya) gives him all kinds of misery in his material existence
- Formerly, when Lord Krsna descended in Vrndavana, He freed all living entities in the universe from material existence in the same way
G
- God is also a living entity like us, but He is the Supreme. Krsna appears just like human being, but He is Supreme
- God is God eternally, and an ordinary living entity is eternally a part and parcel of God. God is one without a second, and the ordinary living entities are many without number. All such living entities are maintained by God Himself
- Govinda can impregnate simply by glancing. In other words, His eyes can work as His genitals. He does not need genitals to beget a child. Indeed, Krsna can beget any one of the living entities with any part of His body
H

- He (Krsna) claims all living entities as His sons, so the fact that He had 161,080 sons attached to Him personally should be no cause for astonishment. Among Krsna's greatly powerful sons, eighteen sons were maha-rathas
- He (Krsna) does not possess bodily form like that of an ordinary living entity. There is no difference between His body and His soul. He is absolute. All His senses are transcendental (Svetasvatara Upanisad 6.7-8). BG 1972 purports
- He (Krsna) is an individual as are the other living beings. But the Supreme Lord, or the supreme living being, has the greatest intelligence, and He possesses supermost inconceivable energies of all different varieties
- He (Krsna) is both the leader and maintainer of the living entities, who are called the marginal potency because they can act under the protection of the spiritual energy or under the cover of the material energy
- He (Krsna) is guiding as friend, but He speaks directly with the living entity as soon as we are purified by devotional service. Tesam satata-yuktanam bhajatam priti-purvakam - BG 10.10
- He (Krsna) is the controller of this material nature and of all living entities. He is also the controller of inexhaustible time, and He is full of all opulences and all potencies. BG 1972 purports

- He (Krsna) is the supreme controller of all living entities, whether in human society, in demigod society in the heavenly planets, or in lower forms of life
- He (Krsna) is the supreme living entity of all living entities. So if I am a living entity, I have got a form, so why the supreme living entity will not have a form? This is poor fund of knowledge
- He (Krsna) then appeared before Aristasura and said, "You lowest of living entities! Why are you frightening the inhabitants of Gokula? What will you gain by this action? If you have come to challenge My authority, then I am prepared to fight you"
- He (Lord Krsna) is maintaining all living entities desiring material enjoyment. Let me offer my respectful obeisances unto the Lord, who is the giver of intelligence
- He (Lord Krsna) is the original source of all living entities in the material world, and He is situated in everyone's heart as the Supersoul
- He (Sri Krsna) is the one friend and well-wisher for all, and He is one without a second. The Lord maintains all the living entities everywhere by His six transcendental opulences, for which He is known as bhagavan, or the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- He does not have to endeavor for His maintenance, because He is the master of all mystic powers and the proprietor of everything. Thus He is distinct from the living entities
- Here (in BG 18.63) Lord Krsna telIs Arjuna that he can do as he chooses. God does not interfere with the little independence of the living entity. BG 1972 purports
- His (Krsna's) incarnations as a fish, tortoise and so on are called His causal incarnations. He incarnates in the modes of nature as Lord Brahma, Lord Siva and Lord Visnu. He also incarnates as empowered living entities like Prthu and Vyasa
- His (Krsna's) meditation on Brahman or Paramatma or Bhagavan is on Himself only and not on anything else beyond Himself. This meditation cannot be imitated by the ordinary living entity
I
- I am glad that you are appreciating this Krsna consciousness movement which is meant for the welfare of all living entities in the universe. Our philosophy is that there cannot be happiness or peace unless everyone serves the Supreme Lord
- If one is serious to understand the Vedic knowledge, then Krsna gives the required intelligence. Why does He present the Vedic knowledge for understanding? Because a living entity individually needs to understand Krsna. BG 1972 purports
- If you are engaged in Krsna's service do you think you will starve? Why? You cannot starve. He is well-wisher of all living entities. Why not for you? This confidence must be there
- Illusioned by the glaring reflection of the external energy, the living entities worship the senses instead of engaging them properly in fulfilling the desires of the Supreme
- In Bhagavad-gita (15.7) the Lord (Krsna) says, mamaivamso jiva-loke jiva-bhutah sanatanah: "The living entities in this conditioned world are My eternal, fragmental parts"
- In Bhagavad-gita Lord Krsna affirms that each and every living entity that be is His part and parcel, and as such, each and every living entity is His eternal, transcendental servitor

- In every species of life (sarva-yonisu), He (Krsna) is the original father, the seed-giver (bija-pradah pita). How, then, can He be unkind to any living entity
- In Goloka Vrndavana, the living entities are serving Krsna as friends, cowherd boys, gopis, lovers, fathers, mothers and so on. Even the trees, water, flowers, land, calves and cows serve Krsna in Goloka Vrndavana. This is also our business

- In the beginning the living entity wanted to enjoy the material energy, and to give the living entity all facility, Krsna, the SPG, created this material world and gave the living entity the facility to concoct different ideas and plans through the mind
- In the BG (4.6), Krsna says, Although I am unborn and My transcendental body never deteriorates, and although I am the Lord of all living entities, by My transcendental potency I still appear in every millennium in My original transcendental form
- In the Bhagavad-gita (BG 7.26), Krsna says: O Arjuna, as the SP of Godhead, I know everything that has happened in the past, all that is happening in the present, and all things that are yet to come. I also know all living entities, but Me no one knows
- In the Bhagavad-gita the Lord confirms that He awards different positions to different living entities in proportion to their surrender. This proportionate reward by the Personality of Godhead to the living entities is not partiality
- In the Bhagavad-gita the Lord says, "Give up everything and just surrender unto Me." This process of realizing the S P of Godhead is open for everyone, but still it is the choice of the particular living entity whether to accept or reject this proposal
- In the Bhagavad-gita the Lord says, "I am the seed-giving father of all living entities." It is very simple to understand that the father gives birth to the children but the children act according to their own desires
- In the Brahmanda Purana it is said, The same PG who is known in Vaikuntha as the four-handed Narayana, the friend of all living entities, and in the milk ocean as the Lord of Svetadvipa, and who is the best of all purusas, appeared as the son of Nanda

- Indra said, "You (Krsna) can appear anywhere, according to Your desire, in any one of Your eternal forms. You are the root of all creation and the Supreme Soul of all living entities"

- It is explained by the Lord Himself in Bhagavad-gita (BG 9.4-5): Behold My (Krsna's) mystic opulence! Although I am the maintainer of all living entities, and although I am everywhere, My Self is the very source of creation

- Krsna is feeding unlimited number of living entities, beginning from the elephant down to the ant
- Krsna is never puffed up by material knowledge and is therefore called acyuta, whereas the living entities fall down and are agitated by material nature. This is the difference between the Supreme Lord and the living entities
- Krsna is not afraid of anyone. On the contrary, everyone is afraid of Krsna. Therefore He can actually give protection to a subordinate living entity
- Krsna is not incapable, for He has all potencies. Why would He induce you to suffer the sinful reactions of other living entities

- Krsna says in the Bhagavad-gita that "These, all these living entities, they are My part and parcels," means "as good as I am." But thing is he is concocting; he is manufacturing ideas to become happy. And with the senses he is trying to satisfy himself
- Krsna says: "Even in future also, we shall continue to exist like this. You are individual. You are Arjuna. I am Krsna. And all other living entities" That is real understanding

- Lord Krsna informed His father (Vasudeva) of the spiritual identity of all living entities

M

- Materially we are limited to impregnate by only one particular part of our body, but the Supreme Lord, Krsna or Maha-Visnu, can impregnate by any part. Simply by glancing the Lord can conceive countless living entities in the womb of material nature

N

O
- O Arjuna, as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, I know everything that has happened in the past, all that is happening in the present, and all things that are yet to come. I also know all living entities; but Me no one knows. BG 7.26 - 1972
- O scion of Bharata (Arjuna), O conquerer of the foe, all living entities are born into delusion, overcome by the dualities of desire and hate. BG 7.27 - 1972
- Omkara is a combination of the letters a, u and m. The letter u (u-kara) indicates Srimati Radharani, the pleasure potency of Krsna, and m (ma-kara) indicates the living entities
- One can acquire pure knowledge only from the bona fide spiritual master and thereby avoid the delusion that the living entity is equal to Krsna. BG 1972 purports
- One leader may have many followers. Similarly, Krsna, the supreme living entity, is the supreme leader, and we are subordinate, dependent living entities
- One of the purposes for Lord Krsna's descent or appearance in this material world is to extinguish the fire of material existence for all living entities by setting forth the dharma
- One should understand that due to his desire to enjoy himself in competition with Krsna, the living entity comes into material existence
- One who thinks that he can destroy the living spark also does not know anything about it. The Personality of Godhead, Sri Krsna, therefore emphatically declares that the living entity, being spirit, is never born
- One's relationship with the Supreme Lord is in proportion to that surrender and the service one renders unto the Lord. Thus throughout the entire world the higher or lower positions of the living entities are selected by the living entities themselves
- Only a fortunate living entity gets the opportunity to associate with Krsna and Krsna's devotee, and in this way he gets the seed of devotional service, the chanting of the Hare Krsna mantra, and then his life becomes sublime
- Only Krsna can claim this (to possess all riches, all strength, etc.) because He is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. No living entity, including Brahma, Lord Siva, or Narayana, can possess opulences as fully as Krsna. BG 1972 purports
- Originally the senses of the living entity were awarded to engage them in the transcendental loving service of the Lord or that of His devotees, but the conditioned souls, illusioned by the material energy, became captivated by sense enjoyment
- Originally, Krsna's energy is spiritual, and the energy known as the living entity is also spiritual. However, there is another energy, called illusion, which consists of fruitive activity. That is the Lord's third potency
- Out of compassion Krsna creates this material world to give the living entity a chance to understand his real position
P
- Perfect Krsna consciousness means he knows that "I have engaged my life in Krsna's business. Eko yo bahunam vidadhati kaman. He's feeding millions and millions of living entities, and He'll keep me starving?" Is it possible
- Proselytization has no meaning. To bring one to the real understanding. Krsna says that mamaivamso jiva-bhutah (BG 15.7). All living entities are His part and parcel
S
- Sages said, "Although You (Krsna) are transcendental to this entire material creation and are the Supreme and the Supersoul of all living entities, You appear on this earth by Your internal potency to protect Your devotees and destroy the miscreants"
- Sahadeva said, "Since everyone is part and parcel of Krsna, there is no qualitative difference between Krsna and all living entities. Everything is an emanation of Krsna's energies, material and spiritual"
- Saint Narada saw all these activities of the Lord, who is the Supersoul of all living entities but who played the role of an ordinary human being to manifest the activities of His internal potency
- Sarvasya means everything, the Supersoul. Sarvasya ca aham. Krsna says: "I," hrdi, "in the heart." When it is called hrdi, that means living entity. Without living entity, there cannot be any heart
- Sei purusa maya-pane kare avadhana. Simply by His (Krsna's) glance, material nature is impregnated with all living entities. According to their karma and fruitive activity, they emerge in different bodies. That is the explanation given by the BG - 2.13
- Self-realization means understanding Krsna and one's eternal relationship with Him. The relationship of the living entities with Krsna is also mentioned in the Fifteenth Chapter of Bhagavad-gita. BG 1972 purports
- She (mother Yasoda) saw (within Krsna's mouth) the time allotted for the living entities, she saw natural instinct and the reactions of karma, and she saw desires and different varieties of bodies, moving and nonmoving - SB 10.8.37-39
- Similarly, the parts and parcels of the supreme whole are always dependent and are always controlled by the source of the parts and parcels. It is confirmed in the Bhagavad-gita that the living entities are parts and parcels of Krsna
- Simply by Krsna's glance, matter becomes agitated and then becomes pregnant and gives birth to the living entities
- Since Krsna is the supreme father, His affection for the living entity is eternal
- Since the living entities and Krsna, the Supreme Lord, are both spirit, they are qualitatively one. Quantitatively, however, the Lord is great and the living entities are small. This fact can be accepted immediately on the basis of Vedic information
- So we, living entities, we are servant of Krsna. That is our nature. That is our nature. Simply we are trying to avoid Krsna's service. Therefore we are engaged in this maya's service, or material nature's, under different bodies
- So who is not accepting Bhagavad-gita? In the Bhagavad-gita where is the mention of "Hindu"? Hmm? Krsna says that "I am the father of all living entities." So why do they say that this is Hindusim?
- Sri Krsna says that He appears whenever there is a discrepancy in the dharma of the living entities, that is to say whenever the living entities cease rendering service to the Supreme
- Sri Narada Muni said: After first offering my obeisances unto Lord Krsna, the protector of the religious principles of all living entities, let me explain the principles of the eternal religious system, of which I have heard from the mouth of Narayana
- Srila Narottama dasa Thakura has sung: The body of a human being is extremely valuable because in this body one can understand the instructions of Krsna and attain the ultimate destination of the living entity
- Srutadeva said, "We can appreciate that not only today have You (Krsna) given me Your audience, but You are associating with all the living entities as Paramatma since the beginning of creation"
- Still, those who are utterly sinful do not surrender unto Him (Krsna), even though He is the Supreme Personality of Godhead and all other living beings are His transcendental, eternal servitors, part and parcel of Him
T
- That is simultaneously one and different philosophy - the living entities thus have free will because they are parts of Krsna and Krsna has free will, but the free will of Krsna is Supreme while the freedom of the parts and parcels is minute
- The (Kama-gayatri) mantra depicted in letters is also Krsna, and the mantra rises just like the moon. Due to this, there is a perverted reflection of desire in human society and among all kinds of living entities
- The activities of the Lord (Krsna) are always inconceivable to the tiny brain of the living entities. Nothing is impossible for the Supreme Lord, but all His actions are wonderful for us, and thus He is always beyond the range of our conceivable limits
- The antar-yami, the Supersoul in everyone’s heart, is the controller of all living entities. This is confirmed in the Bhagavad-gita (BG 15.15), wherein Lord Krsna says, sarvasya caham hrdi sannivistah - I am situated in everyone’s heart
- The baby (Krsna's) yawned, and mother Yasoda saw in His mouth the sun, the moon, fire, air, the seas, islands, mountains, rivers, forests, and all kinds of living entities, moving and nonmoving - SB 10.7.35-36
- The bodily difference of the living entities is maya, or not actual fact. We are all meant to satisfy Krsna. BG 1972 purports
- The body is a machine given by Krsna. In the material world, a father may give his son a car. Similarly, Krsna gives the living entities bodies, 8,400,000 different types of bodies
- The body is coming from life, and the soul is coming from life, the supreme life, Krsna. Krsna says, mamaivamso jiva-bhutah (BG 15.7) - These living entity, they are part and parcel of Me
- The body of a human being is extremely valuable because in this body one can understand the instructions of Krsna and attain the ultimate destination of the living entity
- The cause of the distress of a living entity is forgetfulness of his relationship with God. And the cause of happiness is knowing Krsna to be the supreme enjoyer of all the activities of the human being. BG 1972 purports
- The demigods should appear on the earth in order to please the Lord. In other words, any living entity who lives only to satisfy the Lord is a demigod
- The desire for enjoyment is present both in Krsna and in His parts and parcels, the living entities. In the spiritual world, such desires are also spiritual. No one should mistakenly consider such desires to be material
- The devotee becomes full in loving Krsna. An intimate relationship between the Lord and the devotee then exists. In that stage, the living entity attains his immortality. Nor is the PG ever out of the sight of the devotee. BG 1972 purports
- The dictionary, it is said, in English dictionary, that Krsna is one Hindu God. Is not? In the dictionary. Why Hindu God? He says that, "I am the father of all living entities." Why He should be the father of the Hindus, Indians? He's father of everyone
- The difference between the living entity and the Lord is that the living entity is part and parcel of the Supreme Lord and has the tendency to be overcome by the interactions of the material qualities
- The difference between the Supreme Personality of Godhead and a living entity is, tany aham veda sarvani: Krsna remembers the events of His past incarnations, whereas the living entity cannot remember. That is one of the differences between God and man
- The eternal position of the living entity is never on the level of Krsna or greater than Him. This understanding of Krsna consciousness is the basic principle of real peace. BG 1972 purports
- The expansions of His (Krsna's) separated forms are called living entities, and these living entities are classified according to the energies of the Lord. They are divided into two classes-eternally liberated and eternally conditioned
- The fact is that individual living entities are eternally part and parcel of the Supreme Lord, and both of them are very intimately related as friends. BG 1972 purports
- The florist continued, "You are equally disposed as the friend of all living entities; You are the Supersoul, & You do not discriminate between friend & enemy. Yet You are pleased to give Your devotees the special result of their devotional activities"
- The four Kumaras came to see the Supreme Personality of Godhead Narayana. The word suhrttama, "best of all friends," is important. As Lord Krsna states in the Bhagavad-gita, He is the best friend of all living entities. Suhrdam sarva-bhutanam - BG 5.29
- The gopis are perfectly and thoroughly in cognition of this relationship with Krsna, whereas the living entities under the spell of maya, the illusory energy, are forgetful of Krsna and think themselves separate identities having no connection with Him
- The gopis continued, "Dear Krsna, You are known as Hari. You destroy all the miseries of all living entities, specifically of those who have left their homes and family attachment and have completely taken to You"
- The great sage Narada spoke as follows: "In conditioned life, all living entities are within the jurisdiction of the three modes of material nature. As such, they are unable to see Your (Krsna's) presence everywhere with their material eyes"
- The highest stage of spiritual consciousness is Krsna consciousness. KC means, "I am Krsna's," that's all. Krsna says, "All these living entities, they are My part and parcel." So you have to understand this relationship with Krsna, that you are Krsna's
- The holy name of Krsna is so attractive that anyone who chants it - including all living entities, moving and nonmoving, and even Lord Krsna Himself - becomes imbued with love of Krsna. This is the effect of chanting the Hare Krsna maha-mantra
- The influence of time and space is exerted upon the dependent living entities, who are all parts and parcels of the Supreme Lord
- The karma-yogi knows very well that Sri Krsna, the Personality of Godhead, is the enjoyer of everything, and that He is the Lord of all living entities
- The karma-yogi renders this immense benefit (by helping living entities revive their eternal relationship with Krsna) to the ordinary living entities-who are entirely addicted to mundane activities - without disturbing them in their ordinary engagements
- The living entities - moving and nonmoving - are part and parcel of Krsna; therefore they originally have the same kind of lusty desire as His. But when this lusty desire is expressed through matter, it is abominable
- The living entities are also part and parcel of Visnu, who has various energies (parasya saktir vividhaiva sruyate svabhaviki jnana-bala-kriya ca (CC Madhya 13.65, purport)). Visnu, or Krsna, is therefore everything
- The living entities are Brahman; Krsna is Para-brahman. Krsna is enjoying perpetual ananda, and, being part and parcel of Krsna, we also want ananda
- The living entities are eternally part & parcel of God, minute sparks of the original fire, Krsna. As sparks are prone to be extinguished, but not the blazing fire, the living entities can be overcome by material activities, whereas Krsna never can
- The living entities are manifested and are divided into two classes, eternally conditioned and eternally liberated. Such living entities are innumerable, and they are considered fundamental parts of Krsna. BG 1972 purports
- The living entities are part and parcel of the Supreme, as gold particles are part of a gold mine. Thus the living entity, in his spiritual position, is as good as gold, as good as Krsna in quality
- The living entities are parts and parcels of Krsna; therefore, revival of Krsna consciousness by the individual living entity is the highest perfectional stage of Vedic knowledge. This is confirmed in the Srimad-Bhagavatam (SB 3.33.7). BG 1972 purports
- The living entities are predominated Brahman, whereas the Supreme Lord is the predominating Absolute
- The living entities are the superior energy, and the inanimate material elements are His inferior energy. In the dormant stage, everything rests in Krsna
- The living entities come to this material world in the spirit of enjoyment, but because they want to enjoy without Krsna (krsna-bahirmukha haiya bhoja-vancha kare), they suffer birth, death, old age and disease under the control of the illusory energy
- The living entities in this conditioned world are My eternal, fragmental parts. Due to conditioned life, they are struggling very hard with the six senses, which include the mind. BG 15.7 - 1972
- The living entities, although parts and parcels of Lord Krsna, are prone to be controlled by the external energy; therefore, although they are spiritual, in the material world they are encased in bodies of material energy
- The living entity and Krsna are both anandamaya, transcendentally blissful. On that platform, there is no possibility of material suffering
- The living entity becomes subjugated by the modes of nature as soon as he tries to put himself into the position of Sri Krsna, the supreme enjoyer
- The living entity is bound around the neck by the chain of maya because he has forgotten that he is eternally a servant of Krsna
- The living entity is originally part and parcel of Krsna and is therefore the superior energy of Krsna
- The living entity wants to imitate Krsna and tries to lord it over material nature in order to enjoy sense gratification; thus he forgets his original position, and his illuminating power, his spiritual identity, is extinguished
- The living entity who is inquisitive to understand all Vedic principles is also part and parcel of Krsna and as such is also Krsna. BG 1972 purports
- The living entity's spiritual position is as good as gold, as good as Krsna in quality. The difference of individuality continues, otherwise there is no question of bhakti-yoga. BG 1972 purports
- The living entity, part and parcel of Krsna, starts his own business to compete with the Lord. There are many competitors out to attain the Lord's position, but to become like the Lord is not at all possible
- The Lord (Krsna) accepts the least qualification of the living entity and awards him the highest reward. That is the standard of His character. Therefore, who but the Lord can be the ultimate shelter?
- The Lord (Krsna) remains within the heart of many lowborn living entities, but that does not mean He is lowborn
- The Lord is always kind to all living entities, irrespective of form and situation, yet He took the side of Indra just like an ordinary friend
- The Lord is the father of all living entities, and if the living entities are misguided, indirectly the responsibility goes to the Lord. BG 1972 purports
- The Lord is very kind to the living entities because they are His sons. Lord Krsna declares in Bhagavad-gita, "sarva-yonisu...aham bija-pradah pita." "I am the father of all." BG 1972 Introduction
- The Lord is worshiped with this prayer: I offer my respectful obeisances to the Supreme Absolute Truth, Krsna, who is the well-wisher of the cows and the brahmanas as well as the living entities in general. I offer my repeated obeisances to Govinda
- The Lord says to Arjuna, "You and I had many, many births previously, but I remember everything, whereas you do not." That is the difference between the living entity, or conditioned soul, and the Supreme Soul
- The Lord understands the mentality and sincerity of a particular living entity who is engaged in Krsna consciousness and gives him the intelligence to understand the science of Krsna in the association of the devotees. BG 1972 purports
- The Lord's body is not like that. He descends as He is and is never under the laws of the material modes
- The manifestations of this energy (coldness in the refrigerator or heat in the electric stove) may be different for the living entities, but for Krsna they are not different
- The master is present - Krsna. He will give us an appropriate body and remind us, - My dear living entity, you wanted to eat stool. Now you have the proper body in which to do so
- The material world and the living entities are transformations of the energy of the Lord, the Absolute Truth or Brahman, who is the original source
- The Mayavadis' theory that the Supersoul and the individual soul are equal is only a misconception. The conclusion is, therefore, that Krsna is worshipable and that all other living entities are simply His servants
- The messenger said, "Dear Lord (Krsna), we think that there are many living entities like us who are eternally entangled in fruitive activities and their reactions"
- The Nagapatnis continued: "Although You are the cause of the appearance of all kinds of living entities - their senses, their lives, their minds, their intelligence - You are to be realized by Your internal energy"
- The Nagapatnis said, "Although You have expanded into the three principal deities of this universe - namely Brahma, Visnu and Siva - for creation, maintenance and destruction, Your appearance as Visnu is actually for the benediction of living creatures"
- The Nagapatnis said, "By Your (Krsna's) activities only, the living entities become covered by forgetfulness or discover their real identity"
- The natural position is that every living entity - animals, plants, and human beings, including Indians, Americans, Czechs - everyone is part and parcel of Krsna
- The Paramatma, the Supersoul feature, is a plenary portion of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is the original soul of all living entities. Krsna is the source of the Paramatma
- The Personality of Godhead (Krsna), again desiring to give names and forms to His parts and parcels, the living entities, placed them under the guidance of material nature. By His own potency, material nature is empowered to re-create
- The Personality of Godhead, Sri Krsna, says in Bhagavad-gita (5.28) that one can attain the supreme peace by knowing that He is the enjoyer of all sacrifices and austerities, God of all the universes, and also the supreme friend of all living entities
- The PG, the master of all living entities, existed prior to the creation as one without a second. It is by His will only that creation is made possible and again everything merges in Him. This Supreme Self is symptomized by different names
- The qualities of Krsna are present in the living entity in minute, atomic quantities. A small portion of gold is certainly gold, but it cannot be equal to a gold mine
- The rascal scientist says there is no living entity in the moon planet or sun planet. This is rascaldom. There is. Otherwise how Krsna says sarva-gatah? Any, everywhere there is living entities. This is a false theory
- The real isvara or isvarah paramah, the supreme isvara, or supreme independent, is Krsna. The living entity is isvara only when engaged in the service of the Lord
- The real position of the living entity is a servant of God, but in Bhagavad-gita we see that the master, Krsna, has become the servant of Arjuna
- The relationship between the living entity and Krsna is fixed eternally; it cannot be forgotten, as we can see from the behavior of Arjuna. BG 1972 purports
- The sages, knowing Me (Krsna) as the ultimate enjoyer of all sacrifices and austerities, the Supreme Lord of all planets and demigods, and the benefactor and well-wisher of all living entities, attain peace from the pangs of material miseries - 5.29
- The sages, knowing Me as the ultimate purpose of all sacrifices and austerities, the Supreme Lord of all planets and demigods and the benefactor and well-wisher of all living entities, attain peace from the pangs of material miseries. BG 5.29 - 1972
- The science of Krsna, or the science of God and the living entities, is so subtle that even a personality like Vidura has to consult persons like the sage Maitreya
- The soul desires, and thus the body is formed. Krsna says in BG (18.61) - The Supreme Lord is situated in everyone's heart, O Arjuna, and is directing the wanderings of all living entities, who are seated as on a machine, made of the material energy
- The Supreme Lord Sri Krsna is the father of all living entities, who are placed in different high and low positions according to their desires or aspirations. Some of them are specifically endowed with powers by the will of the Lord
- The Supreme Lord, Krsna, is the father of all living entities in different species and forms. One who is intelligent can see that all living entities in the 8,400,000 bodily forms are part of the Supreme Personality of Godhead and are His sons
- The Supreme Lord, Purusottama, or Sri Krsna, is the maintainer of all, in both the transcendental and material worlds. He is the life and friend of all because there is eternally natural affection and love between the living entities and the Lord
- The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Hari, is the object for fulfilling the senses of all living entities
- The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Krsna, who is the original Narayana and eternal friend of all living entities, thus worshiped the sage Narada according to Vedic regulative principles
- The system of worshiping Krsna by offering flowers from a tree is also beneficial for the living entity who is confined to the bodily existence of that tree. When flowers and fruits are offered to Krsna, the tree that bore them also receives much benefit
- The third incarnation of Visnu, Ksirodakasayi Visnu, is also an incarnation of the mode of goodness. He is also the Supersoul of all living entities, and He resides on the ocean of milk within the universe
- The third-grade living entities, namely the animals, beasts, plants, trees and aquatics, have completely forgotten Krsna consciousness
- The Vedas clearly state that living entities are subordinate parts and parcels of the supreme. Eko bahunam yo vidadhati kaman: the Supreme Being, Krsna, maintains all living entities
- The Vedic literatures give information about the living entity's eternal relationship with Krsna, which is called sambandha. The living entity's understanding of this relationship and his acting accordingly is called abhidheya
- Their (demonic miscreants) mental speculations to arrive at the Absolute Truth bring them to the false conclusion that the ordinary living entity and Krsna are one and the same. BG 1972 purports
- There is a distinction between Lord Krsna's dancing with the gopis and the ordinary dancing of living entities within the material world
- There is mention of the Lord's meeting with sixteen thousand cowherd damsels although He is the Hamsa (transcendental) Supersoul and maintainer of all living entities
- There is no need of strenuous effort to free oneself from sinful reactions. One should unhesitatingly accept Krsna as the supreme savior of all living entities. With faith and love, one should surrender unto Him. BG 1972 purports
- There is no question of Krsna being a man. At no stage in His appearance on earth did He appear as an ordinary living entity. Even as a baby He performed miraculous feats way beyond the abilities of the ordinary living entity
- There is really nothing uninspiring for a highly advanced devotee. In Bhagavad-gita the Lord says that He is situated in everyone's heart and that He helps the living entity forget and remember. By the grace of the Lord, the devotee gets inspiration
- These elements (earth, water, fire, air and ether) in their gross and subtle states are produced by Krsna, whose marginal potency also produces the living entities working within this material world
- These living entities (Krsna's marginal energy) who appear to be our father, mother, etc., are nothing but Krsna. BG 1972 purports
- These living entities, they are My (Krsna's) part and parcel, or they are as good as I am, part and parcel. A small particle of gold is gold. It is no other thing. Similarly, we, being part and parcel of God, we are also the same quality
- These sparks (the living entities) can be covered by the influence of maya, but the original fire, Krsna, cannot. Krsna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, even from the beginning of His appearance in the house of Vasudeva and Devaki
- They addressed Him as Jagadisvara, or the Lord of the universe who maintains everyone. The reason for this was that Krsna and Balarama maintain all living entities. And yet Nanda and Yasoda were put into such difficulties on account of Their absence
- This (always thinking of God) is the most important instruction in all Vedic literature. What Krsna is saying in this connection is the most essential part of knowledge, & it should be carried out not only by Arjuna but by all living entities. BG 1972 p
- This (the spiritual spark in the living entities) is the superior energy of Krsna within this world
- This healthy condition is lost when the living entity forgets Krsna due to being attracted by the external features of Krsna's maya energy. This world of maya is called durasraya, which means false or bad shelter
- This is confirmed in the Upanisad, that two birds are sitting on one tree. One bird is eating the fruit and another bird is simply observing. So the observing bird is Krsna, and the eating bird is the living entity
- This is confirmed in the Vedas, that two birds are sitting on one tree. These two birds, one is Krsna, and another the living entity
- This is the sense of Kssna consciousness: Lord Krsna is the supreme predominator, and all living entities, including the great demigods, are His subordinates. One can attain perfect peace only in complete Krsna consciousness. BG 1972 purports
- This kind of work (that living entities trying to become Krsna, to enjoy the world to his best capacity) is done under the spell of the modes of material nature, called maya, or the illusory energy
- This material nature, external energy is Krsna's. Undoubtedly, it is Krsna's. But that worm class of living entities, they are attracted by it. You see? We should not be attracted because we are not going to be worms of the stool
- This Mayavada philosophy, voidism, impersonal philosophy, is not very good. You cannot remain impersonal or in void, because your position is . . . because you are living entity, because you are part and parcel of the supreme living entity, Krsna
- This theory (of the Mayavadi's) cannot be applied to the minute living entities. The living entities are minute parts and parcels of the Supreme Personality of Godhead; they are minute particles or sparks of the original fire
- Thus regaining your natural position & rendering service unto the Supreme Lord, who is the all-powerful reservoir of all pleasure and who lives in all living entities as the Supersoul, you will very soon forget the illusory understanding of "I" and "my."
- To fulfill his (Living entity) desires, although they are temporary and illusory, You (Krsna) enter this temporary manifestation to help him
- Two birds are sitting on the same tree. One bird is eating the fruit and the other bird is simply witnessing. The witnessing bird is God, Krsna, and the eating bird is the living entity
- Two birds, namely the Supersoul, Krsna, and the living entity, individual soul, they are sitting together. And one is eating the fruit of the tree and the other is simply witnessing. This is our position

- Uddhava continued, "Material nature is conducted by the purusa incarnations, who all act under Krsna & Balarama. By Their partial representation They enter the hearts of all living entities. They are the source of all knowledge and all forgetfulness also"
- Under a false egoistic sense, since he (the living entity) is constitutionally unable to do so (becoming Krsna, the supreme enjoyer), any more than the hands, legs, eyes, and so on can individually function as a complete, whole body
- Under different standards of material identity, they (the living entities) become forgetful of Krsna. BG 1972 purports
- Under the circumstances (in BG 2.13), it is admitted that Lord Krsna is the Supreme Lord, superior in position to the living entity, Arjuna, who is a forgotten soul deluded by maya. BG 1972 purports
- Under the creation of prakrti some of the living entities who are nothing but Krsna's marginal energy appear as our father, mother, grandfather, creator, etc., but actually they are parts and parcels of Krsna. BG 1972 purports
V
- Vasudeva began to offer his prayers. “My dear Lord, I can understand who You are. You are the S. P. of Godhead, the Supersoul of all living entities & the Absolute Truth. You have appeared in Your own eternal form, which is directly perceived by us"
- Vasudeva said - You (Krsna) expanded Yourself as Ksirodakasayi Visnu and entered into the heart of all living entities and entered even within the atoms. Therefore Your entrance into the womb of Devaki is understandable in the same way
- Vasudeva said, "Then again You (Krsna) expanded Yourself as Ksirodakasayi Visnu and entered into the hearts of all living entities and even within the atoms. Therefore Your entrance into the womb of Devaki is understandable in the same way"

- We are samples of Krsna. Wherefrom do we get the fighting spirit? It is present in Krsna. Therefore, just as a king sometimes engages a wrestler to fight with him, Krsna also engages living entities to engage in fighting
- We are simply attempting to bring people to the real understanding. Krsna says, mamaivamso jiva-bhutah: (15.7) all living entities are part and parcel of Me
- We can become a direct servant of Krsna, or in the highest stages we can become Krsna's father, mother or lover. Krsna is prepared to establish a loving relationship with all living entities
- We know that everyone is human being, and everyone, every living entity, not only the human being, even the birds, beasts, animals, trees, everyone, a living entity is part and parcel of God, Krsna
- We living entities, we being part and parcel of God, Krsna, our only business is to serve Krsna. We have no other business
- We want to see all living entities as parts and parcels of Krishna without giving any consideration to outer skin, and that is real education
- What is this wonderful phenomenon? The affection of all the inhabitants of Vraja, including Me (Rama), toward these boys and calves is increasing as never before, just like our affection for Lord Krsna, the Supersoul of all living entities - SB 10.13.36
- When a living entity is spiritually advanced and liberated from material bondage, he can understand Krsna in truth
- When a living entity plays the part on behalf of Krsna, he also takes the responsibility for the sinful activities of his devotees. Therefore to become a guru is not an easy task. You see? He has to take all the poisons and absorb them
- When a living entity, by Your (Lord Krsna) grace only, comes to the right conclusion about Your exalted transcendental position, he no longer bothers with the different theories manufactured by the mental speculators or so-called philosophers
- When a living entity, thinking himself different from Me (Krsna), forgets his spiritual identity of qualitative oneness with Me in eternity, knowledge and bliss, his material, conditional life begins
- When an individual living entity surrenders to the Supreme Lord, Krsna, he can then develop natural transcendental love for Him. This surrendering process should be the primary concern of a human being
- When Brahma saw mystic power of Lord Krsna’s, he admitted defeat and offered prayers to the Lord, addressing Him as the proprietor and seer of everything in the creation and as the Supersoul who is within each and every living entity and is dear to all
- When He (Krsna) stands in a three-curved way, He attracts all living entities, including the demigods. Indeed, He even attracts the Narayana form which presides in each and every Vaikuntha planet
- When Krsna speaks, we must understand that whatever He says is not limited but is universally true. He claims to be the father of all living entities - even the animals, the aquatics, the trees, plants, worms, birds & bees are all claimed to be His sons
- When one tries to satisfy the senses of Govinda without desiring to satisfy one's own senses - then by the grace of Govinda all desires of the living entity are satisfied. BG 1972 purports
- When the living entity feels spiritual separation from Krsna (krsna-viraha), he has achieved the prime success of life. When one becomes disinterested in material things, he is simply experiencing the other side of attraction for material things
- When the living entity forgets his constitutional position as an eternal servant of Krsna, he is immediately entrapped by the illusory, external energy
- When the living entity wants to lord it over the material energy by imitating the position of Krsna, he is immediately captured by the material energy
- When this energy (living entities) is not serving the energetic (Krsna), that is material existence. The whole world is not serving Krsna. They are serving Krsna in a different way. They are serving indirectly
- When this knowledge (that Krsna is Brahman and Paramatma) is further developed, one is convinced that the Paramatma, the Supreme Lord, is the master and that the living entity is His eternal servant. One then attains the platform of dasya-rasa
- When, however, deluded living entities become situated in Krsna consciousness, it is to be understood that they are on the path of liberation, as confirmed in the Bhagavatam: muktir hitvanyatha rupam svarupena vyavasthitih. BG 1972 purports
- With such a false conviction (the ordinary living entity and Krsna are one and the same), they (demonic miscreants) think that the body of any human being is now simply covered by material nature. BG 1972 purports
- Without Krsna's purpose we cannot kill even an ant, we cannot cut even a tree, then we shall be liable to punishment. So a sadhu sees that "Here is also a living entity."
Y
- Yasoda saw in Krsna's mouth the all living entities, eternal time, material nature, spiritual nature, activity, consciousness, different forms of the whole creation and everything necessary for cosmic manifestation
- Ye yatha mam prapadyante tams tathaiva bhajamy aham: (BG 4.11) Krsna deals with different living entities according to their conceptions. For those who regard Krsna as an ordinary human being, Krsna will deal like an ordinary human being
- You (Krsna) are the same Supreme Personality of Godhead, who have now appeared, with full potency, for the benefit of all living entities within this material world - SB 10.10.34-35
- You (Krsna) are the supreme friend of all living entities, but at the same time You are the supreme chastiser of the miscreants & the envious. I (Narada) know that Your Lordship has descended to this earth for the proper maintenance of the whole universe
- You (Lord Krsna) are situated in every living entity's heart as the supreme director, and therefore You are aware of all endeavors by Your superior intelligence, without any hindrance whatsoever
- You are the Supreme Personality of Godhead (Krsna), the controller of everything. The body, life, ego and senses of every living entity are Your own self. You are the Supreme Person, Visnu, the imperishable controller - SB 10.10.30-31
- You can supply food to certain limited number of living entities but Krsna or the Supreme Lord is supplying food to millions and trillions of living entities within the sky, within the water, within the mountain, within the forest
- You mention about the well-renown psychologist at Harvard who is interested in finding about man's true nature. Man's true nature is to render service. Originally the living entity was meant for rendering service to Krsna
- You should know Krsna to be the original soul of all atmas (living entities). For the benefit of the whole universe, He has, out of His causeless mercy, appeared as an ordinary human being. He has done this by the strength of His own internal potency
- Yudhisthira said, "(You (Krsna) said one should surrender unto You, and you will take care of him) Still, the living entity remains attached to material activities and suffers or enjoys the reactions without Your interference"
- Yudhisthira said, "As the Supersoul, You (Krsna) sit in the body with the living entity, giving him the results of his own actions as well as opportunities to turn toward Your devotional service by developing Krsna consciousness"
- Yudhisthira said, "You (Krsna) give every living entity the chance to enjoy this material world as he desires"
