- A devotee is considered superlative or superior according to his attachment and love. In the Eleventh Canto of Srimad-Bhagavatam, the following symptoms have been given
- A great devotee of Krsna, the son of Vasudeva, is a great soul very rarely to be found. Prahlada Maharaja's attachment for Krsna will be explained in the next verse (SB 7.4.37). Krsna-graha-grhitatma
- A living being, to become desireless, how you can? I am living. I am not a dead body. Desire should be to satisfy Krsna. Attachment should be for Him. That's all. You have to change. That is Krsna consciousness

- I have a few sincere students here, just developing; they are not complete, but they are developing Krsna - attachment. Otherwise, why should they waste their time chanting Hare Krsna? They are doing it, and it can be done
- If a man's and woman's attachment is not to each other but to Krsna, then both of them are equally eligible to get out of the material entanglement and reach the abode of Krsna
- If an ordinary man develops such attachment for Krsna and fortunately performs devotional activities in the association of pure devotees, he can also rise up to the platform of pure devotional service

- Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, says that "If you want to know Me, then you have to increase your attachment for Me." This is the first condition
- Krsna-prema is described in the Brs (1.41) - When the heart is completely softened & devoid of all material desires & when one’s emotional feelings become very strong, one becomes very much attached to Krsna. Such purified emotion is known as pure love

- One who has developed attachment to Krsna is Krsna conscious. They say if you have attachment for your lover you always think of her. That is lover consciousness. It is natural
- One who is attached to Krsna should chant and hear from other pure devotees who are also attached to Lord Krsna. The same principle applies for devotees attracted by Lord Rama, Lord Nrsimha and other forms of the Lord
- One who is serious in advancing his spiritual life should be very cautious not to become attached to anything but Krsna
- One's lips become red from chewing betel nuts. Similarly, the borders of Radharani's eyes are blackened due to Her complete attachment to Krsna

- Prahlada Maharaja is the approved maha-bhagavata, the supreme devotee. In the previous verse it was stated that he had natural attachment (naisargiki ratih). The symptoms of such natural attachment for Krsna are described in this verse - SB 7.4.37

- Radha continued, "I do not know how she has become so captivated by Krsna, why she is so much attached to Krsna, although she knows His actual character. Maybe she is so much captivated by Krsna's sweet words that she cannot understand His real character"
- Ramananda Raya then replied, "Conjugal attachment for Krsna is the topmost position in love of Godhead"
- Renunciation by itself, the simple giving up of worldly things, is not sufficient. Renunciation may be a helpful process, but it will not help absolutely. When we increase our attachment for Krsna, our renunciation will be perfect
- Renunciation is not as important as enhancing one's attachment to Krsna. The Krsna consciousness movement is especially meant for this purpose
- Reverential devotion for the Lord gradually increases and transforms itself into ecstatic love, then affection and then attachment

- Self-controlled persons who are attached to the Supreme Lord Sri Krsna can all of a sudden give up the world of material attachment, including the gross body and subtle mind, and go away to attain the highest perfection of the renounced order of life

- Some way or other, we should be attached to Krsna. That is our only business, how we can be it doesn't matter, in broken language. There are many Sanskrit, I mean to say, not properly pronounced. But the Krsna name is there. Therefore it is sufficient

- There is an account of Rukminidevi's writing a letter to Krsna requesting Him to kidnap her before her marriage to another person. At that time the specific attachment of Rukmini for Krsna was expressed by Rukmini as follows
- There is another hopelessness, however, which shows attachment for Krsna. When the bull demon attacked the damsels of Braja, they began to cry out, "My dear Krsna - please save us! We are now gone!" This is hopelessness with attachment for Krsna

- They also admitted that even yogis who are not devotees of the Lord are covered by the influence of material energy. This kind of hopelessness felt by the brahmanas who were performing ritualistic ceremonies shows practically no attachment for Krsna
- This (a devotee associates with devotees of God) is perfectly natural because birds of the same feather mix together. And the most important function of a devotee is to have complete attachment for Lord Sri Krsna, the father of all living beings
- This attachment (rati) is not like material attachment. When one is free of material contamination, attachment for Krsna’s service awakens and is called rati
- This attachment of the gopis to Krsna is wonderful and transcendental. The center of all the activities of the gopis was Krsna. When Krsna was there they were happy, and when Krsna was not there, they were unhappy

- To be directly attached to the Supreme Personality of Godhead in conjugal love is technically called keli. This keli performance means to directly join with the Supreme Personality of Godhead

- Uddhava was attracted by the attitude of the gopis because they were completely attached to Krsna, and he was inspired by the gopis' anxiety for Krsna. He offered them his respectful obeisances
- Under the circumstances, whatever Krsna says, Bhagavan says . . . sri-bhagavan uvaca, mayy asakta-manah partha. The real business is to increase your attachment for Krsna. This is your real business
- Unless one is attached to Krsna, he cannot attain devotional perfection even if he renders devotional service for a long time. Krsna does not easily deliver perfection in devotional service
- Unless you get taste, how you can be attached to Krsna?

- Vibhava is a particular taste for attachment to Krsna, and it can be divided into two further categories-alambana and uddipana
- Vira-bhakti-rasa is described as follows (Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu 4.3.1): When attachment to Krsna mixes with the bellicose tendency, the charitable tendency or the merciful tendency in the heart of the devotee, such devotion is called vira-bhakti-rasa
- Visaya means material subject matter for sense gratification. So one cannot be attached to Krsna as long as he is attached to visaya
- Vrndavana life means all attachment for Krsna. Mother Yasoda is attached to Krsna, Nanda Maharaja is attached to Krsna, the cowherd boys are attached to Krsna, the calves and cows are attached to Krsna, Radharani is attached to Krsna, that is Vrndavana

- We are all conditioned souls so we are affected by Maya, but if we sincerely chant and serve, our attachment for Krishna will be revived and we will no more have to come under this Maya
- We are attached to something with consciousness, not blindly. So we have got the consciousness. When we turn our attachment, or train ourself to increase our attachment for Krsna, that is called bhakti-yogam
- We are chanting, we are hearing, we are dancing, we're enjoying. Why? Just to detach our life from all nonsense things and attach to Krsna. This is the process. This is Krsna consciousness
- We are preaching the principle that it does not matter whether a man is a sannyasi or grhastha (householder). One simply has to increase his attachment for Krsna, and then his life is successful
- We are very attached to material enjoyment, but when we transfer that same attachment to Krsna, we traverse the path of liberation. One has to practice this yoga system and none other

- When a person is attached to Krsna’s lotus feet, he does not eat anything not offered to Krsna. Sei annamrta khao, radha-krsna-guna gao, preme daka caitanya-nitai
- When Baladeva saw this attachment (the cows' constant attachment to those calves (Krsna's expansions) that were grown up and had stopped sucking milk), He was unable to understand the reason for it, and thus He began to consider - SB 10.13.35
