- Acknowledging the benediction offered to him by Krsna, he (Brahma) became the original spiritual master of all living entities
- After Kaliya was punished by Krsna, one of Kaliya's wives told Krsna, Dear Lord, we cannot understand how this fallen serpent got the opportunity of being kicked by Your lotus feet when even the goddess of fortune underwent austerities just to see You
- All living entities are part and parcel of Krsna. By Krsna it should always be remembered that we are speaking of God, Krsna denoting the all-attractive Supreme Personality of Godhead
- All princesses who were wives of Krsna were exquisitely beautiful, & each one of them was attracted by Krsna's eyes, which were just like lotus petals, and by His beautiful face, long arms, beautiful ears, pleasing smile, humorous talk & sweet words
- All the dealings between the calves and their respective mothers taking care of them were enacted by Krsna Himself
- All-around Krsna. That is Krsna consciousness. This is called bhakti-yoga. This is called bhakti. Somehow or other, you become surrounded by Krsna atmosphere
- Although all the events were prearranged by Krsna, a devotee must try his best to serve the purpose of Krsna. Krsna Himself is all-powerful, but it is not that a devotee should therefore sit idly and leave everything to Him
- Although he (the devotee) should use his common sense in the matter of defending, he is sure that without being protected by Lord Krsna no one can defend himself, however expert he may be in the art of defense
- Although I have got superior intelligence, that is also controlled by Krsna. If Krsna gives you intelligence, then you can manufacture this nice microphone; otherwise, you cannot
- Anyone says: "God," he should be killed. That is the example given by Krsna. He should be killed. No other remedy. Only kill him. That's all. Then this false propaganda will stop
- Arjuna agrees to what Krsna says several times. Krsna is speaking to him just for his benefit, and Arjuna acknowledges that all this is happening to him by Krsna's grace. BG 1972 purports
- Arjuna was little flickering, he showed his little weakness, and he was at once condemned as non-Aryan, "Oh, you are just showing your symptom of a non-Aryan." You see. And by Krsna
- As indicated in the previous verse (SB 8.8.8) by the word bhagavat-para, she (the goddess of fortune) is the property of the Supreme Personality of Godhead and is enjoyable only by Him
- As Krsna states in Bhagavad-gita (BG 9.4), maya tatam idam sarvam jagad avyakta-murtina: "By Me, in My unmanifested form. this entire universe is pervaded." Thus the impersonal conception of the Lord is like the expansion of heat and light from a fire
- As stated by Krsna, After many births the man of wisdom seeks refuge in Me, knowing Vasudeva is all. BG 1972 purports
B
- Bad and evil things, which are produced out of ignorance, are also Krsna, when they are applied by Krsna
- Bali Mardana was punished by Krsna, he is not ordinary person; he is authority. So even a person punished by Krsna becomes authority. Krsna is so nice

- Both the internal devotees, who were simply absorbed in love of Krsna, and the external devotees, who were captivated by His unlimited potency, were informed of Krsna's desire to be submissive to His servants
- Brahma was initiated by the Krsna mantra, by Lord Krsna Himself, and thus he became a Vaisnava, or a devotee of the Lord, before he was able to construct the huge universe
- By Him (Krsna) even the great sages and demigods are placed into illusion, as one is bewildered by the illusory representations of water seen in fire, or land seen on water
- By Him even the great sages and demigods are placed into illusion, as one is bewildered by the illusory representations of water seen in fire, or land seen on water
- By His (Krsna's) spiritual and material energies He is present everywhere-both in the material and in the spiritual universes. BG 1972 purports
- By His internal potency the Lord can expand Himself into various personalities of svayam-prakasa and again into prabhava and vaibhava forms, and all of them are nondifferent from one another
- By His pleasing smiles, His affectionate behavior, His instructions and His uncommon pastimes like raising Govardhana Hill, the Lord, appearing in His transcendental body, pleased all of human society
- By His Vasudeva feature, Krsna simultaneously expanded Himself into the exact number of missing cowherd boys and calves, with lunch bags, their particular types of dress and ornaments placed in various ways - SB 10.13.19
- By His Vasudeva feature, Krsna simultaneously expanded Himself into the exact number of missing cowherd boys and calves, with their exact bodily features, their particular types of hands, legs and other limbs, their sticks, bugles & flutes - SB 10.13.19

- By Krsna's will, I am now residing at the Los Angeles temple of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness. This purport (on Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu) is finished today, the 30th of June, 1969
- By Me, in My unmanifested form, this entire universe is pervaded. All beings are in Me, but I am not in them. BG 9.4 - 1972
- By the Grace of Krishna you have got good intelligence, you are born of a great nation, and good family; just utilize the opportunity to finish the business of Krishna Consciousness, without waiting for further incarnation
- By the grace of Krsna only, everyone is engaged in the practice of religion, the development of economic conditions, the satisfaction of the senses and, ultimately, the achievement of liberation from material bondage
- By the grace of Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, we understand that everything is possible by the grace of Krsna
- By the Grace of Sri Krishna through His mercy personified - my spiritual master, I have realized it most thoroughly that going "Back to Godhead" is the highest privilege of mankind and that is the supreme perfection of human life
D
- Devaki said, "The creation, maintenance and annihilation of this cosmic manifestation are effected only by Your plenary portion. I therefore take shelter of You without reservation"

- During the period of Krsna’s appearance, the killing of asuras or nonbelievers such as Kamsa & Jarasandha was done by Visnu, who was within the person of Krsna. Such apparent killing by Krsna took place as a matter of course & was an incidental activity
- Duryodhana had been put into illusion by the supreme will of Lord Krsna, and this was the beginning of the enmity between the two sects of the Kuru dynasty. This appeared to be a part of Krsna's plan in His mission to decrease the burden of the world
E
- Even though the gopis who were friends of Rohini and mother Yasoda and who allowed their breasts to be sucked by Krsna were not directly His mothers, they all had the same chance as Rohini & Yasoda to go BTG & act as His mother-in-law, servants and so on
- Every one of them (father, grandfather, teacher, prostitutes and candalas) was properly greeted by the Lord in terms of rank and position
- Everyone is accepting Krsna. But this is the most unfortunate thing, that our men go there to deprecate Krsna. Therefore we should very carefully try to understand Bhagavad-gita as it is presented by Krsna
- Everyone should follow the example of the Pandavas, who showed how to be saved by the grace of Krsna
- Everything is being generated by Krsna. Indeed, the Vedanta-sutra confirms: athato brahma jijnasa janmady asya yatah: (SB 1.1.1) everything is flowing from the Supreme Absolute Truth
F
- For one in such Krsna consciousness there are no material activities because everything is done by Krsna. BG 1972 purports
- Form of the Lord (installed in a temple) is called arca-vigraha, or arca incarnation, and is expanded by the Lord by His internal potency just to facilitate the devotional service of His innumerable devotees who are in the material world
- Formerly Duryodhana was burning with envy because Yudhisthira was being protected by the arms of Krsna and Arjuna as if they were his own arms
G

- God has given you so many nice foodstuff. Why should you kill an animal? Therefore Jesus Christ says, "Thou shall not kill." "Then shall I die?" No. There are so many things. You eat, tena tyaktena, "whatever is ordained by You," by God, Krsna
- Gopis said, "We village women might be misled by Krsna, but the women in the city of Dvaraka are very clever and intelligent. Therefore I would be surprised if such city women could be misled by Krsna and could believe His words"
H
- He (Krsna) is self-sufficient because His very transcendental existence is total bliss. He is eternally existent; He is all-cognizant and all-blissful. Therefore, any presentation, however valuable it may be, is not needed by Him
- He (Silhana Misra) wrote a book named Santi-sataka, and later, by the mercy of Lord Krsna and the Vaisnavas, he became a great devotee. Thus he became famous as Bilvamangala Thakura Gosvami
- He does not say, "Give Me animals." Because we are Krsna conscious, we cannot take anything which is not accepted by Krsna
- Here in this narration we find that although Banasura was a great devotee of Lord Siva, when he faced death by Krsna, Lord Siva was not able to save him. But Lord Siva appealed to Krsna to save his devotee, and this was sanctioned by the Lord
- How God names are understood? The God names are understood by His action. Just like we say Krsna. Krsna means all-attractive. God is all-attractive. God is attractive for the Hindus, for the Muslim, for the Christians, for everyone
- How to get out of the clutches of maya is stated by Krsna in the Bhagavad-gita (14.26): One who engages in full devotional service, unfailing in all circumstances, at once transcends the modes of material nature and thus comes to the level of Brahman
- How to serve Krsna, how to disentangle ourselves from materialistic service, how to attain Krsna consciousness and become free from material designations is all taught as a science by Sri Krsna in Bhagavad-gita
I

- I am glad that you have arranged for a nice apartment on daily payment arrangement, and if by Krishna's Grace you find out a cheaper place in the meantime, we can transfer there
- I am so glad to learn that you are in charge of kitchen and food supply which saves 25 to 30 percent on food. That is a great service. To be extravagant is not recommended by Krishna in the Bhagavad-gita
- I have understood that you are our top first class book distributer, and you can rest assured that this has not gone unnoticed by Krsna. Krsna appreciates very much when His devotee works very hard to serve Him

- If one is always fully engaged in the devotional service of the Lord with full sincerity of attitude, beginning with the tongue, that Krishna will Himself appear to the devotee and all questions will be answered personally by Him
- If one is puffed up with false prestige, thinking - I have so much opulence, and I am giving something to Krsna - one's offering will not be accepted by Krsna
- If we want to become predominator falsely in this material world, that is illusion, That we must give up. That we must give up. We shall always try to become predominated by Krsna. That is successful life
- If you want to know Krsna, then here is Bhagavad-gita, spoken by Krsna Himself. You just try to understand and you learn Krsna. Or you learn confirmation
- In the Bhagavad-gita, three principal subjects have been explained by Lord Sri Krsna, namely karma-yoga, jnana-yoga and bhakti-yoga, but one can reach the Vaikuntha planets by the practice of bhakti-yoga only
- In the first part of the Gopala-campu the following subject matters are discussed: (29) various pastimes in solitary places; (30) the killing of Sankhacuda and the Hori; (31) the killing of Aristasura; (32) the killing of the Kesi demon by Krsna
- In the first part of the Gopala-campu the following subject matters are discussed: (9) entering Sri Vrndavana; (10) the killing of Vatsasura, Bakasura and Vyomasura by Krsna; (11) the killing of Aghasura and the bewilderment of Lord Brahma
- In the form of Narayana the beauties of mercy, fame, etc., are all established by Krsna, but Krsna's gentleness and magnanimity do not exist in Narayana. They are found only in Krsna
- In the modern age, such malicious scholars (who attempt to misrepresent the Pancaratra-sastras) have even commented misleadingly upon the Bhagavad-gita, which was spoken by Krsna, to prove that there is no Krsna
- Indeed, by Your (Krsna's) causeless mercy, You can give liberation to anyone. Those who receive Your mercy are called krpa-siddha
- Influenced by these features of Krsna, they (Krsna's wives) all used to dress themselves very attractively, desiring to attract Him by their feminine bodily appeal
- It (the knowledge of Bhagavad-gita which is given by Krsna to sun-god Vivasvan) was handed down from time immemorial from Vivasvan by disciplic succession
- It is confirmed by Lord Krsna in the Bhagavad-gita (BG 9.4): By Me, in My unmanifested form, this entire universe is pervaded. All beings are in Me, but I am not in them
- It is explained by the Lord Himself in Bhagavad-gita (BG 9.4-5): By Me (Krsna), in My unmanifested form, this entire universe is pervaded. All beings are in Me, but I am not in them. And yet everything that is created does not rest in Me
- It is now confirmed (in SB 10.10.40) by the Supreme Personality of Godhead that the curse of a devotee is also to be regarded as mercy. As Krsna, God, is all-good, a Vaisnava is also all-good. Whatever he does is good for everyone
- It is the duty of the pure devotee to be fixed in the discharge of the duty entrusted to him by the Lord or the Lord's bona fide representative, the spiritual master. The rest is carried on by the Lord without a break
K
- Krsna and Krsna's words are not different. So if you abide by the words of Krsna, just like Bhagavad-gita - there are many others - then you are abiding by Krsna. You are not abiding by the dictation of your mind
- Krsna is the source of transcendental bliss for all living entities and by whom all illusion is completely removed
- Krsna is thus (in BG 7.9-12) explaining Himself as He is. Yet we are not attracted to Him. Why is this? The reason is given by Krsna Himself: daivi hy esa guna-mayi, mama maya duratyaya, mam eva ye prapadyante, mayam etam taranti te - Bg. 7.14
- Krsna states in the Bhagavad-gita (BG 9.4), maya tatam idam sarvam jagad avyakta-murtina: "By Me, in My unmanifested form, this entire universe is pervaded"
- Krsna then began to kick his (Aristasura's) body, just as one squeezes a wet cloth on the ground. Being thus kicked by Krsna, Aristasura rolled over and began to move his legs violently
L

- Now please protect us (the demigods) again by Your mercy by diminishing the disturbances in this world. O Krsna, best of the Yadus, we respectfully offer our obeisances unto You - SB 10.2.40
O
- On the higher planets, it is possible to live for incredibly long lifetimes. The time calculation on these planets is indicated by Sri Krsna: sahasra-yuga-paryantam ahar yad brahmano viduh ratrim yuga-sahasrantam te 'ho-ratra-vido janah

- Original idea of philosophy is practically demonstrated by Krsna. The ideal, original ideal of religion and philosophy is preached by Krsna. And all the acaryas followed that

- Purnasya purnam adaya purnam evavasisyate (Sri Isopanisad, Invocation). The food offered to Krsna is qualitatively as good as Krsna; just as Krsna is avyaya, indestructible, the food eaten by Krsna, being identical with Him, remains as before
R
- Radha and Krsna are the same. Krsna, by expanding His pleasure potency, becomes Radharani. The same pleasure potency (ananda-cinmaya-rasa) was expanded by Krsna when He Himself became all the calves and boys and enjoyed transcendental bliss in Vrajabhumi
- Rascals, being controlled by mental speculation, make huge arrangements by which to enjoy life temporarily, but they must give up the body at the time of death, when everything is taken away by Krsna's external energy
S
- Sadhu means devotee. It is defined by Krsna Himself: sadhur eva sa mantavyah. He's sadhu. Who? Bhajate mam ananya-bhak. Api cet su-duracaro bhajate mam ananya-bhak, sadhur eva sa mantavyah (BG 9.30). He's sadhu
- Sei purusa maya-pane kare avadhana. Simply by His (Krsna's) glance, material nature is impregnated with all living entities. According to their karma and fruitive activity, they emerge in different bodies. That is the explanation given by the BG - 2.13
- So at that time Krsna entered the womb of Uttara and saved the child from the brahmastra. So Maharaja Pariksit is such a devotee that he was protected from the embryo by Krsna
- So many things Krsna is supplying for our subsistence - fruits, grains. Without supplied by Krsna, you cannot have. You cannot manufacture all these things. So you must admit that God is supplying us so many things & why not offer something? Is it love?
- Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s vrndavana-lila in the garden of Jagannatha Puri did not involve association with women or with other people’s wives in the fashion transcendentally demonstrated by Sri Krsna

- The conclusion is, that we should take to the bhakti process as it is enunciated in authoritative sastra, by Krsna, by the acaryas

- The elephants, chariots, horses and infantry belonging to the opposite party were scattered by the weapons of Krsna. Indeed, the whole battlefield became strewn with smashed chariots and the bodies of men and animals
- The fact is, that by the grace of Krsna's omnipotence, the so-called stone statue of the Deity is directly the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and the body of the spiritual master is directly spiritual
- The idea of philosophy and religion, that is originated from India. There is no doubt about it. And that original idea of philosophy is practically demonstrated by Krsna
- The ideal, original ideal of religion and philosophy is preached by Krsna. And all the acaryas followed that

- The sound heralded by Lord Krsna was something like the heralding of the sunrise in the morning
- The SPG says in Bhagavad-gita (9.4): "By Me, in My (Krsna's) unmanifested form, this entire universe is pervaded. All beings are in Me, but I am not in them." This explains the philosophy of simultaneous oneness & difference, known as acintya-bhedabheda

- The world which we see is also Krsna's energy, His maya. Here, maya means "by Me," as if one says, "This work has been done by me." This "by Me" does not mean that He has done His work and has finished or retired
- There are two narrative books which especially concern the words and activities of Krsna. Bhagavad-gita is the instruction given by Krsna, and Srimad-Bhagavatam is the book containing topics exclusively about Krsna and His devotees
- These elements (earth, water, fire, air and ether) in their gross and subtle states are produced by Krsna, whose marginal potency also produces the living entities working within this material world
