- Actually it is not your land; it is God's land. The land was there before you came here, and still there. And maybe after some hundred years or so you may vacate, and somebody may come. This is going on

- As Arjuna, we should accept Krsna as the SP of Godhead and do as He says (BG 9.27): O son of Kunti, all that you do, all that you eat, all that you offer and give away, as well as all austerities that you may perform, should be done as an offering unto Me
- As it is described in the English dictionary, that it is a kind of faith. Faith I may accept - suppose Hindu faith or Christian faith. So you may accept or not accept. But religion does not mean like that. Religion means you must accept
- As soon as the calf is there, in front of the mother they are killed. You see? So if these things go on without any brain, without any intelligence, you may make hundreds of organization, the society will never be happy. This is our verdict

- Because they (materialistic people) deny the existence of God, illusion impels them: Yes, there is no God. Work hard and commit sins so that you may go to hell
- Before asking me, if you give me, "I think you may require a glass of water," that is friendship. Friendship means feeling friend's welfare always. Suhrt. Friendship is not simply chatting. Friendship means thinking, "How my friend will be happy?"
- Belief is the basic principle of understanding. You may believe the scientists, or you may believe the Vedas. It is up to you which source you believe
- Bhagavad-gita points out that you may feel very happy with your so-called material senses, but you should see to the real problem of life, janma-mrtyu-jara-vyadhi: birth, death, old age and disease
- Bhagavata says that whatever capacity you may have, either you are a scientist or a lawyer or an engineer or a rich man, a capitalist, whatever you may be. Your duty is to utilize your talent for Krsna consciousness. That's all
- Bring Krsna, and then everything will be value. Otherwise, all zero. You may be proud of so-called material advancement. It is zero, because it will not save you, because tatha dehantara-praptih: you have to change your body
- Bring the four sets of loincloths and outer garments I keep at home, and also some prasadam of Lord Jagannatha. You may carry these things with the help of some brahmana

- Cintam aparimeyam ca. Your cinta will not act. You may think for the safety or satisfaction, but that does not mean we should neglect our duty. But as far as possible we should be detached
- Culture and business means you may do whatever business you are doing, according to your division, or according to your capacity. But if you want perfection in your business, then you must try to satisfy the Supreme Personality of Godhead. That is culture

- Daiva means godly. You may arrange everything, but if God is against you, in spite of your all arrangement, everything will be failure. That is described in the Bhagavad-gita
- Dark well means a very deep ditch, well, but it is covered with grass. You cannot know that there is a deep well, but while walking, you may fall down within it
- Death is already there. You might have atomic energy or no atomic energy - you have to die. By atomic energy you are accelerating the same problem of death, that's all
- Don't falsely claim that "Because I am qualitatively one with God, therefore I am God." No. You may be god. God means controller. But you are not the Supreme God. The Supreme God is Krsna
- Don't think that it (Krsna consciousness movement) is a sectarian religion. We are making people God conscious. It doesn't matter whichever religion you may belong, we want to see whether you are actually God conscious
- Duty you sometimes may avoid, and you may be excused, but obligation we cannot. Obligation means you have to

- Either you may bring this ism or that ism, this civilization will collapse. People will become mad, being harassed in so many ways. When one is harassed in so many problems, he commits suicide. So that position is coming
- Even though the people are in the status of sudra, they should be given opportunity for spiritual advancement, and that is Caitanya's special gift, and very easy, that "Whatever you may be, that doesn't matter. Chant Hare Krsna and gradually realize

- Future we cannot trust. "Trust no future, however pleasant." This is our philosophy. Everyone says that. "Trust no future, however pleasant." You may talk that future is very bright, but we don't believe in that

- He (Krsna) said, "Daruka, please immediately take Me to where Salva is staying. You may know that this Salva is a very powerful, mysterious man. Don't fear him in the least"
- He said, "Go quickly and massage the Lord's feet, You may tell Him, The Pandita has just sat down to take his meal"
- He will carry Your waterpot and garments. You may do whatever You like; he will not say a word
- Hindu, Muslim, or whatever you may be, everyone accepts there is God. So we are teaching not to formally accept there is God, but know what is God and love Him. So those who are interested for higher knowledge of God, they'll take it

- However you may pose yourself, cheat others, that you are the best man in knowledge, philosopher, scientist, you are a fool. That is not possible. Sac-cid-ananda vigrahah is Krsna only

- King Yayati said, "O learned, worshipable brahmana, I have not yet satisfied my lusty desires with your daughter." Sukracarya then replied, "You may exchange your old age with someone who will agree to transfer his youth to you"
- Krsna continued - You (King Nagnajit) may also be pleased to be informed that in Our family tradition there is no scope for Our offering anything in exchange for accepting your daughter (Satya). We cannot pay any price you may impose for delivering her

- Krsna continued, "Whatever mistakes you (Rukmini) may have made may be forgotten. You may chalk out your own lucrative path of life. Usually a person does not establish a marital relationship with a person who is either higher or lower than his position"
- Krsna said to Narada, "O best of the brahmanas, I wish that you may develop unalloyed devotional service to Me, which is full of transcendental bliss and all auspiciousness"
- Krsna said to Uddhava, "you may know it from Me, the attraction I feel for devotional service rendered by My devotees is not to be attained even by the performance of mystic yoga, philosophical speculation, ritualistic sacrifices, the study of Vedanta"

- Land is your place, but if you are placed in the ocean, however expert... You may be very expert swimmer, but that does not mean that you are happy. You can go on struggling, swimming, very expert swimming, but that does not mean happiness

- Lord Krsna said - Arjuna, I see that you are talking like a learned man, but you may know that you have very little knowledge - because I see that you are lamenting over something for which no one would lament if he were truly learned

- May you be blessed by Lord Krishna so that you may become His pure devotee. I do not know Marathi but I appreciated the books very much
- Most religions, they say: "We believe." So what is this "believe"? You may believe something which is not naturally correct
- My dear boy (Rudra), you may now accept all the names and places designated for you and your different wives, and since you are now one of the masters of the living entities, you may increase the population on a large scale

- Nature is so strong that you must die. "I am very strong." You may be very strong, that's all right. There is a, I mean to say, joking story that one man thought how to avoid death
- Nature's law is working, you cannot interfere with the nature's law. That is not possible. You may think yourself very much advanced in science, but nature's law, you cannot interfere. Just like now there is movement, man and woman, equal
- Nobody is actually outside (of sanatana-dharma). Everyone is an eternal spirit soul, and therefore everyone is meant for the eternal religion, sanatana-dharma. You may think that you are not an eternal spirit soul, but that is simply illusion
- Nowadays it has become the custom that unless you have got a university degree, either you may be in knowledge . . . mayaya apahrta-jnanah, you are not recognized as a pandita. But in the Vedic scripture, the pandita is different person
O
- O Arjuna, whatever you wish to see, behold at once in this body of Mine! This universal form can show you whatever you now desire to see and whatever you may want to see in the future
- O King with eyes like the petals of a lotus, kindly come sit down and accept whatever reception we can offer. We have a supply of nivara rice that you may kindly take. And if you so desire, stay here without hesitation
- O My (Visnu's) dear son Daksa, Prajapati Pancajana has a daughter named Asikni, whom I offer to you so that you may accept her as your wife
- O sinless Brahma, you may know from Me that it was I (God) who first ordered you to undergo penance when you were perplexed in your duty. Such penance is My heart and soul, and therefore penance and I are nondifferent
- O Vasudeva, you may take back your child and go home. I (Kamsa) have no fear of your first child. It is the eighth child of you and Devaki I am concerned with because that is the child by whom I am destined to be killed - SB 10.1.60
- One thing you may inform all devotees that Maya cannot touch a pure devotee: When you find a devotee is supposed in difficulty it is not the work of Maya but it is the work of the Lord by His Personal internal energy
- Our fight is for this purpose, no more death. This is real fight. Your, what is your fight? You may save yourself for two years or three years or ten years, but you have to die. You have no such program not to die. But here is a program, no more death
- Our Krsna consciousness movement is to bring some men on the platform of goodness. The world requires it now. You are being trained up to become qualified brahmins. So be always careful that you may not contact the quality of passion and ignorance
- Our point is that you may live materially comfortably - there is no harm - but if you forget your spiritual identity, then you'll remain like animal
- Our process of propaganda is that Krsna is the highest authority. That is our... You may take it that we are limited; that is your business

- Raya Ramananda then informed Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu that there was another topic, known as prema-vilasa-vivarta. "You may hear of this from me," Ramananda Raya said, "but I do not know whether You will be happy with it or not"
- Real civilization is how to understand your relationship with God, the supreme father. That is real civilization. You may learn it through any process. It doesn't matter

- So far approaching the Indian community, you may do so with an appeal that Krishna Consciousness Movement is so nice that, by its propagation, there would be no more any other sect and that will be perfect position of the human society

- So long you manufacture ideas, you may be pacified for some time, but it will not exist. Therefore you have to stop this manufacturing process, that "I shall be happy in this way." No. That is called free of anxieties
- So there is difference between puja and seva. Puja means I flatter you to satisfy you, and after being satisfied, you may offer me something, or I’ll ask you something and you offer me. That is called puja. That is devata-puja
- So this is a chance given, human form of life. Just like after imprisonment you are again given little freedom. You cannot be completely free; however, you may declare that, I belong to free nation
- So you may go to the highest planetary system or in the heavenly planets; you can have better standard of life than this earthly planet or you can live for long, long years; but that is not the solution of your problems
- So you may name it "earring," but you have to add "gold" - golden earring. You may name it "necklace," but it is gold, because originally it came from the gold mine. Similarly, originally, everything is coming from Krsna

- The contamination of material world is called sin. That is sin. Just like you infect some disease, germ, you become diseased. I have got some infection, so I am diseased. You may know it or not know it, that doesn't matter
- The demigods continued (to Visvarupa): Although you are junior in relationship to us, you may become our priest without hesitation

- You have got freedom. You may serve the Lord, you may not serve. That is your freedom. But if you serve the Lord, then you become happy. If you do not serve the Lord, then you become unhappy
- You have made me lose my sons once, and now you have again done the same inauspicious thing. Therefore you are a rascal who does not know how to behave toward others. You may travel all over the universe, but I curse you to have no residence anywhere
- You have to find out pratikaram, counteraction, how to save yourself from danger. Just like when we walk, we see in so many doors, "Danger," so that you may be . . . you are warned. Sometimes the doors are, "Beware of the dog." So you have to take care
- You may advertise yourself or I may advertise myself, "I am a great religious person," but the test is how much you have learned to love God, how much you have advanced in that process
- You may also accept iron as gold. That is your ignorance: you do not know what gold is. But if you actually know what God is, you will accept Krsna as God. There is no doubt about it
- You may be a brahmana, you may be a ksatriya, you may be a sudra. It doesn't matter. If you act according to the order of Krsna, by the order of Krsna, then your karma will not entangle you. Because or you are doing according to the order of Krsna

- You may be joyful for the time being by drinking or by intoxication, but how long? So long the intoxication influence is there, you may feel something. That is artificially. But that is not actually the state of joyfulness

- You may be very much proud of your scientific advancement of knowledge, but here is the real science. If you can overcome birth, death, old age and disease, then you can say your science is triumphant

- You may have a very good spiritual master, but if you have no power to inquire, then you cannot make progress. Inquiries must be there

- You may have experience that there is a bird which is called a parrot. The parrot's body is green, and his beak is red. The specific qualification of the parrot is that whatever you say he can imitate
- You may have faith in Hinduism; tomorrow you may have faith in Christianism. Or you may have faith in Christianism, tomorrow in Muhammadan . . . This kind of faith is not Krsna consciousness
- You may have solved all other problems. Very good. But what about your birth, death, disease and old age? These are the intelligent questions. We have to answer. We have to make solution
- You may have some faith, but the law is different. So faith, a dogmatic faith, is not religion. To know the real law, this is definition of religion
- You may have some qualities, very minute quality of God, but you cannot claim that you are God. The same example: the small spark of fire is also fire. A small particle of gold is gold, but it cannot be compared with the gold mine. That is not possible
- You may have very big, big universities, educational system, but the production will be hopeless, confused hippies. That's all - From the very beginning, the whole system should be changed, rascal civilization
- You may have very good arrangement for producing food, machinery; but still, if the land or earth does not produce food, this tractor or all other arrangements will be failure. We should know the supply of things are in the hands of the material nature
- You may know that he is not a liberated person, and therefore, he cannot initiate any person to Krishna Consciousness. It requires special spiritual benediction from higher authorities
- You may live for fifty years, or sixty years, or utmost hundred years; then you'll be kicked out. But they do not know that life is eternal
- You may live very honestly - you may do your duty very honestly - in spite of all these things, because you are not taking to Krsna consciousness, you are simply being defeated
