- Our prayer of the Hare Krishna Mantra means addressing Radha and Krishna for being engaged in Their service. Hare Krishna means "Oh Hare, Oh Radharani! Oh Krishna! Please engage me in Your service so that I can get relief from the service of Maya"

- Rohini said, "Lord Krsna killed Bhaumasura and all his soldiers, and although He had no need to accept even one wife, He nevertheless, by our request, married all sixteen thousand of us"
- Rukmini addresses a letter to Krsna as follows: "My dear unconquerable Krsna, my marriage day is fixed for tomorrow. I request that You come to the city of Vidarbha without advertising Yourself"
- Rukmini continued, 'I have selected Your Lordship as my husband, and I therefore request You (Krsna) to accept me as Your wife. You are the supreme powerful, O lotus-eyed one. Now I belong to You'

- Sudama Vipra had been a class friend of Krsna's, and due to his poverty he was induced by his wife to see Krsna to request some aid
- Sutapa & his wife Prsni, inaugurated their devotional activities on the basis of full knowledge. Gradually they developed love for the SPG, & when this love was mature, God appeared as Visnu, although Devaki then requested Him to assume the form of Krsna

- That form was exhibited by Krsna at the request of Arjuna because in the future, when one represents himself as an incarnation of God, people can ask to see his universal form. BG 1972 purports

- To kill the demons Krsna does not need to come. When He comes, He does so because He is requested by His devotees like Vasudeva and Devaki, as Kuntidevi indicates by using the word yacitah, meaning - being prayed for

- We take our birth because we are bound by our karma, but Krsna, being fully independent, does not come because of someone else's request or because of karma. Rather, He comes by His own free will - atma-mayaya
- When Duryodhana approached Krsna with Arjuna and requested Him to take sides, Krsna said, - I have eighteen military divisions. These divisions will take one side, and I personally will take another. However, I will not fight in this battle
