A
- A devotee who directly worships Lord Krsna through staunch devotional service, as recommended in Srimad-Bhagavatam, (tivrena bhakti-yogena yajeta purusam param (SB 2.3.10)), is very quickly elevated to the transcendental position
- A devotee who does so (preaching the holy name of the Lord throughout the entire world) is criticized by neophyte devotees, kanistha-adhikaris, who are on the lower stages of devotional service. For them, Deity worship is strongly recommended

- Especially in India, there is practically no ghee; for everything that should be done with ghee, people use a certain type of oil preparation. Oil, however, is never recommended for offering in a sacrificial fire
- Everyone loves himself, and when he becomes more advanced, he loves the Supersoul also. A person who is self-realized does not recommend the worship of anyone but the Supersoul

- Happiness of humanity at the cost of the lives of poor animals. That is not recommended herein. This verse clearly says that one should be compassionate to all living entities. Regardless of whether human, animal, tree or plant
- Here (in SB 3.28.11) it is recommended that by practicing the breathing process of pranayama one can be released from contamination created by the principal physiological elements
- Here (in SB 3.28.2) it is recommended that one should seek out a bona fide spiritual master and surrender unto him (arcanam), for by inquiring from and worshiping him one can learn spiritual activities

- If one eats in this manner (eating half of what desired and filling the rest with water), he will avoid indigestion and disease. The yogi should eat in this way, as recommended in the Srimad-Bhagavatam and all other standard scriptures
- If the chief aim is God realization, by any religion, the Bhagavata recommends that type of religion is first class which directly gives connection with God. That is first class

- One should always think about and describe the Supreme Personality of Godhead, for this is recommended in both the Bhagavad-gita and the Bhagavata Purana, which are two authorized commentaries upon the Vedas
- One who desires to merge into the supreme impersonal brahma-jyotir must also worship the Lord by bhakti-yoga, as it is recommended here in the Srimad-Bhagavatam. Bhakti-yoga is especially stressed here as the means of all perfection
- Our faculties, experience, and powers of speculation are always limited. We can only give rise to such frog philosophy. Therefore SB recommends that we give up the method of speculation as a waste of time in trying to understand the Supreme

- Performing prescribed worship in such temples (temples of Radha-Krsna, Jagannatha, Balarama, Sita-Rama, Gaura-Nitai and so on) of Visnu and thus worshiping the Lord is as good as performing the payo-vrata ceremony recommended here - in SB 8.16.60
- Piety refers to the process of cleansing the heart. As recommended by Lord Caitanya, one has to cleanse the dust from the mirror of the mind, and then advancement on the path of liberation begins. Here (in SB 4.8.5) also the same process is recommended

- Smrtya. This remembrance of the Lord can be continued if we hear about Him constantly. It is recommended in this verse (SB 4.22.24): mukundacaritagrya-sidhuna. Sidhu means "nectar
- Srimad-Bhagavatam (SB 5.5.1) recommends: One must practice austerity so that his existential position will be purified and he will achieve unlimited blissful life
- Srimad-Bhagavatam also recommends that we give up this futile process to measure the Supreme. We cannot even measure the limitations of space, what to speak of the Supreme
- Srimad-Bhagavatam does not recommend that we give up our present religion, but it does hint at the purpose of religion. That purpose is love of Godhead, and that religion which teaches us best how to love the Supreme Lord is the best religion

- Such activities (distributing Krsna literature) are recommended in this verse (of SB 10.2.37). Kriyasu yas tvac-caranaravindayoh. Such activities will always remind the devotees of the Lord's lotus feet

- The beginning of devotional service is to hear about the glories of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. That is recommended in this verse (SB 4.22.23): vina harer guna-piyusa-panat
- The Bhagavatam always recommends the association of the mahat, or the great soul, for opening the gate of salvation
- The Bhagavatam's principles are so broad that it recommends that the necessities of life be supplied to everyone, man or animal, regardless of good or bad qualities
- The only sacrifice - that kirtana, sankirtana-yajna. This was introduced, and this is recommended in Bhagavata. This is authoritative
- The perfect process for achieving this (freedom from all kinds of fear and the fullest extent of happiness in life), here and now, is recommended in the Srimad-Bhagavatam, which is uttered by such a great authority as Srila Sukadeva Gosvami
- The process of giving up all material connections and returning home, back to Godhead, the Supreme, is recommended herein. The condition is that one should be completely freed from desire for material enjoyment

- Ultimately it is recommended (in SB 7.11.8-12): Everyone should become a devotee of the Lord, because by becoming a devotee of the Lord one automatically acquires the other qualities
- Unfortunately, at the present moment so-called philanthropists and humanitarians advocate the happiness of humanity at the cost of the lives of poor animals. That is not recommended herein - SB 6.10.9
