- A mahajana is one who strictly follows the original religion and knows things as they are. And that means he must be coming in the parampara, the system of disciplic succession

- Srimad-Bhagavatam, when received in the parampara system, or disciplic succession, will likewise remain unbroken
- Srotriyam means "who has heard from the parampara system." And the result is brahma-nistham: "He is firmly fixed up in the service of the Supreme Personality of Godhead." Brahma-nistham. He has no other business

- Tattvam, the truth, so one must have seen the truth, realized the truth. Tad-vijnanartham sa gurum evabhigacchet (MU 1.2.12). That is guru, means one who has seen the truth. How he has seen the truth? Through the parampara system
- That is the parampara system. The newly initiated disciple is immediately supposed to beg alms and make a presentation to the spiritual master. If such presentation is not made, if they do not follow the system, how the effect will be there?
