- There is no question of meditating on something void or impersonal. When one can meditate on the transcendental form of Lord Visnu even without practicing involved sitting postures, such meditation is called perfect samadhi - CC Preface
- There is such transcendental bliss in simply meditating on the lotus feet of the Lord that one can forget everything but the Lord's transcendental form. This is the perfection of yogic samadhi, or ecstasy
- These are the special features of the transcendental form of the Lord, and one who has once seen that form is not satisfied with anything else; no form in the material world can any longer satisfy the seer
- They (materialists) offer respect more to the external phenomenal feature of material manifestations than to the noumenal principle of spiritual existence. The transcendental form of the Lord is beyond the jurisdiction of materialistic activities
- They (mental speculators) are in fact in ignorance because they equalize the transcendental name and form of the Lord with mundane names and form. With such a poor fund of knowledge, there is no access to the real nature of the Supreme Being
- They (the asuras) can think of the Lord as virat and thus gradually cleanse the dirty things from their hearts in order to become qualified to actually see the transcendental form of the Lord in the near future
- Thinking of Visnu or meditating upon the transcendental form of Visnu, specifically upon Lord Krsna, is the last word on the subject of meditation. This meditation may be begun from the lotus feet of the Lord
- This (thinking of God as virat-rupa they can become qualified to actually see the transcendental form of the Lord in the future) is a favor of the all-merciful Lord to the atheists and the gross materialists
- This is confirmed in Bhagavad-gita (BG 18.55). Bhaktya mam abhijanati: only by devotional service can one understand the transcendental form of the Lord
- This present form, or any transcendental form expanded by Sri Krsna, is equally auspicious for all the universes. Since You have manifested this eternal personal form upon whom Your devotees meditate, I therefore offer my respectful obeisances unto You
- This verse is the prelude for explaining the transcendental nature of the form and the abode of the Lord
- Those who are too engrossed in sense gratification cannot be allowed to participate in arcana or to touch the transcendental form of the Radha-Krsna or Visnu Deities. For them it is better to meditate upon the gigantic virat-rupa of the Lord
- Those who want to associate with the Supreme Personality of Godhead in His transcendental form as Narayana in the Vaikunthas, or with Krsna in Krsnaloka, go to those abodes, wherefrom they never return
- Transcendental forms of the Supreme Personality of Godhead in His person are so great that the impersonal followers of the Upanisads cannot reach the platform of knowledge to understand them
U
- Undoubtedly the form of the Lord who was seen by Brahma must be transcendental, otherwise how could He simply look upon the creative energy without being touched
- Unless one attains realization of the transcendental form of the Lord, there is no question of bhakti
- Unless one can realize the transcendental form of the Supreme Lord, he cannot actually attain love of God, and without love of God there is no perfection in human life
- Unless one comes in contact with a devotee it is not possible to understand the transcendental form or the spiritual world and its transcendental activities
- Unless there is realization of the transcendental form of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, there is no question of love of God
W
- We have to take information of the transcendental form of the Lord from persons who have actually seen Him with perfect eyes smeared with devotional service
- When He (God) manifests His eternal transcendental form in the material world, He does so by His internal potency
- When one comes to the stage of jnanamayi, one realizes the transcendental opulences of the Personality of Godhead. But when one reaches pure love, one realizes the transcendental form of the Lord as Lord Krsna or Lord Rama. This is what is wanted
- When one's heart is purified by the association of devotees and by the avoidance of the offenses committed when chanting and worshiping the Lord, the transcendental name, form and activities of the Lord are revealed by the Lord
- When the Lord is perceived as visva-murti, it is not that He loses His personality or transcendental eternal form, but He becomes visible in the same form everywhere
- When the Lord is pleased and reveals Himself, one can understand the transcendental form, name, qualities and pastimes of the Lord. This is confirmed in the Katha Upanisad - 2.23 and Mundaka Upanisad - 3.2.3
- When we make a form of the Lord - whether of wood or stone or metal or jewels or paint, or even a form within the mind - it is a bona fide, spiritual, transcendental form of the Lord
- Whenever there are kings and administrators living like animals in the lowest modes of existence, the Lord in His transcendental form manifests His supreme power, the Truth Positive, shows special mercy to the faithful
- Whenever there is a need of material creation, the transcendental Personality of Godhead accepts forms in the material world for creation, maintenance and destruction
- Without realizing spiritual knowledge, one cannot understand that the transcendental form of the Lord is always beyond the creative energy
Y
- Yogis generally meditate upon the transcendental form of Visnu, but devotees not only meditate upon Him but actually engage in the direct service of the Lord
- You are so merciful to Your devotees that You manifest Yourself in the particular eternal form of transcendence in which they always think of You
- Your (Lord Visnu's) transcendental nature is very difficult to understand unless one is influenced by the presence of Your transcendental form - SB 10.2.35
