- A God conscious person does not say, "God, You please do everything for me and let me smoke ganja." Rather, a God conscious person must work for God
- A question may be raised as to why a devotee should refrain from identifying an actor, although he knows definitely that the Lord is the ultimate doer of everything
- Although He (God) has no interest in such things, in order to receive our loving service, He agrees to act as He does. We cannot actually offer suitable paraphernalia for the Lord's worship because we are completely ignorant

- Devahuti is sayin, "Although You (God) personally are not doing anything, Your determination is absolute. There is no question of Your fulfilling Your will with the help of anyone else besides Yourself. You are the Supreme Soul and the supreme controller
- Devotees sacrifice all personal interests to satisfy the SPG, and similarly the Supreme Lord, although having no personal interests, can do anything for the interests of His devotees. One who is full in himself has no personal interests

- General instruction must be followed, that one cannot say that, "God is dictating through me something to do even against the general instruction." That is not possible
- God can expand Himself in any number of forms. We cannot do that. That is the symptom of God. Akrti, prakrti. Prakrti is His nature, supreme nature. As soon as He likes anything to do, He'll do it. There is no impediment
- God does so for the benefit of all conditioned souls so that they can turn their attention to transcendence. By doing so, the conditioned soul will gradually be promoted to the transcendental position and easily cross the ocean of nescience

- Haridasa Thakura asked Advaita Prabhu why He was doing something which might jeopardize His position in brahmana society. Advaita Prabhu replied that He was feeding millions of first-class brahmanas by offering the food to Haridasa Thakura
- He (God) can see with His hands and legs. He does not need a particular bodily part to perform a particular action. Angani yasya sakalendriya-vrttimanti (SU): He can do anything He desires with any part of His body, and therefore He is called almighty
- He (God) has nothing to do personally, for since His potencies are perfect, everything is immediately done by His will
- He (God) is complete and independent to do anything and everything by His various potencies, very easily and perfectly
- He (God) is transcendentally so full of inconceivable potencies that simply by His willing, everything is done without physical or personal endeavor. He is called, therefore, Yogesvara, or the Lord of all mystic powers

- He (the Lord) can annihilate everything merely by His will. That is His supremacy. If one argues, "Why does He act in this way?" the answer is that He can do so because He is supreme. No one can question His activities
- He knows better than you. So why, what is the use of expressing yourself, making business: "Please, Sir, I am in distress. I have come to offer You some flower and fruit - please get me release, from?" God also does that, but what is the use of?

- If God does not do anything for me, then I don't want God. He must be my order-supplier. This is going on. This is going on in the name of religion
- If God has created the material world and material variety, so means He is in full awareness how to do things nicely. That is perfectness of God
- If He (the Lord) were answerable to us concerning why He does something and why He does not, His supremacy would be curtailed
- If somebody says: "Yes, there is God, but I have no business with Him," no. You should know actually what is His name, what does He do, where is His residence, what is His business. And these things are possible to understand in this human form of life

- Narada then left and went on to the cobbler, who asked him, "Oh, you have seen the Lord? Tell me, what was He doing?" "He was threading an elephant through the eye of a needle," Narada replied
- Narayana said. - When they (the brahmana and the cobbler) ask you (Narada) what I am doing in My abode, tell them that I am threading the eye of a needle with an elephant
- Nothing is accidental. Everything is done by the Supreme Personality of Godhead, as the Lord Himself confirms in Bhagavad-gita (BG 9.10). Mayadhyaksena prakrtih suyate sacaracaram

- One cannot argue with the activities of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. The Lord is always free, and therefore He can protect and can also annihilate. He is not our order carrier; whatever He likes He will do. Therefore He is the Supreme Lord
- Only when the Lord is satisfied with the devotional service of the devotee does He impart knowledge, as He did for Arjuna and Uddhava
- Ordinary people may have difficulty accepting the supreme controller, God, as a human being because they forget that He can do everything by spiritual energy - atma-mayaya
- Our only duty is to carry out the order of the Supreme. Other things is already done by Him. So if we abide by the orders of the Supreme, then we get the credit. We should know that
- Our plans to protect or annihilate do not act, but whatever He (the Lord) thinks of doing actually happens

- Sanandana said, "The personified Vedas sing, 'O Lord, we fervently pray that You kindly do so. All the living entities, being Your parts and parcels, are naturally joyful, eternal and full of knowledge'"
- Since Lord Siva was being harassed by the woman (Mohini-murti), it is to be understood that this was being done not by a woman but by Lord Visnu Himself
- Since the Supreme Lord is all-powerful, He can do things that seem wonderful for a common man
- Sometimes He does this (creating a favorable condition for his devotee) by taking away a devotee’s material attachments by force and baffling all his material protective agents, for thus the devotee must completely depend on the Lord’s protection

- The Lord is so satisfied with His pure devotees that He wants to give them the credit for missionary success, although He could do the work personally. This is the sign of His satisfaction with His pure, niskama devotees, compared to the sakama devotees
- The Lord never takes away material opulences achieved because of devotional service, although He sometimes takes away opulences achieved by pious activities. He does this to make a devotee prideless or put him in a better position in devotional service
- The Lord says in the Bhagavad-gita, "This created world and material energy are under My control. Under the influence of prakrti, automatically they are created again and again, and this is done by Me through the agency of My external energy"
- The Lord, being all that is described above, maintains the affairs of the creation, and by His so doing He gives salvation even to His enemies who are killed by Him
- The nondevotees, Mayavadis, who are interested in denying Krsna, say that God has no eyes, no legs, no hands, no ears and so on. This is indirectly saying that God is blind and deaf and that He cannot do this or that
- The Personality of Godhead always does good for one and all, by empowering His devotees to preach and propagate the transcendental process of devotional service to Godhead everywhere in accord with the specific time, place, and audience
- The Personality of Godhead Sri Rama assumed the form of a human being and appeared on the earth for the purpose of doing some pleasing work for the demigods or the administrative personalities to maintain the order of the universe
- The primeval Lord, being all-powerful, can do whatever He likes, and therefore His assuming the incarnation of a tortoise or a fish for serving a particular purpose is not at all astonishing
- The question may be raised why the living entities are situated in different conditions and who has arranged this. The answer is that it has been done by the Supreme Personality of Godhead, without anyone's help
- The responsibility of the Lord is also unique. The Lord has no responsibility because all His work is done by His different appointed energies. But still He accepts voluntary responsibilities in displaying different roles in His transcendental pastimes
- The sages prayed: Dear Lord, Your activities are most wonderful, and although You do everything by Your different potencies, You are not at all attached to such activities
- The Supreme Lord enjoins that brahmanas and cows must be given all protection. The Lord is Himself very much inclined to do good to brahmanas and cows - go-brahmana-hitaya ca

- The Vedas say that the Supreme Lord has nothing to do personally, as is always the case with superiors, but everything is done by His direction. As it is said, not a blade of grass moves without His sanction
- There is no necessity of God's coming here to settle up things. There is no necessity. He has got omnipotential power. He can do without His presence. But when His devotees become very much disturbed, He comes personally
- There is no one greater than Him (God) or on an equal level with Him, and everything is completely done by His energy, as if by nature
- These things will not satisfy you, My dear boy. - Sarva-dharman pari . . . "You give up all this nonsense. Come to Me. I shall give you all protection." But we don't want to take protection. What God will do
- They (the four Kumaras) could not even comprehend the purport of the speech or what the Supreme Lord wanted to do. Nor could they understand whether the Lord was angry or pleased with them
- They were all His (God's) sons and grandsons and were given complete protection by the paternal affection of the Lord. How they could be vanquished in the presence of the Lord is answered in this verse (SB 3.4.3) : everything was done by the Lord Himself
- Those persons who were unable to see God as He is remained attached to material hankerings & were not able to go back home, back to Godhead. When the Lord passed beyond the vision of all, He did so in His original eternal form, as stated here - SB 3.2.11

- We accept Ramacandra as God. He brought big, big stones and floated over the ocean. Does a stone float over the ocean? Yes, it floats under the order of God. He can . . . He can do it. The law of gravitation will not act there
- We are ultimately dependent on Him to fulfill our desires, but we cannot say that God's desires are also dependent. That is His inconceivable power. That which may be inconceivable for ordinary living entities is easily done by Him
- We know who is God. Therefore this business is possible by us, not by others. We know what is God. We have no vague idea. We know who is God, where does He live, what does He do, His name, address, His father's name - everything we know
- We should know that He (God) is complete. Everything is done systematically by His energies (parasya saktir vividhaiva sruyate (CC Madhya 13.65, purport)), and therefore He has nothing to do - na tasya karyam karanam ca vidyate
- What the Lord wants to do Himself by His transcendental plans, He executes through His confidential devotees. That is the way of the Lord's mercy towards His pure unalloyed devotees
- When He (God) manifests His eternal transcendental form in the material world, He does so by His internal potency
- When Narada returned to earth and approached the brahmana, the brahmana said, - Oh, you have seen the Lord? What was He doing
- When the King saw that the brahmana Durvasa had been released from the great danger of being burned, he could understand that by the grace of the Lord he himself was also powerful, but he did not take any credit, for everything had been done by the Lord
- When the Lord appears it is mentioned in the Bhagavad Gita that He does so in His Own Internal Potency. This Internal Potency is called Yoga Maya
- When the Lord comes, He does so on the basis of His spiritual potency (sambhavamy atma-mayaya (BG 4.6)). Because He is not forced to come by the material energy, He is always transcendental
- When the Lord descends, He does so along with His entourage to display a complete picture of the transcendental world, where pure love and devotion for the Lord prevail without any mundane tinge of lording it over the creation of the Lord
- When yajna-pati wants to, He can do anything without the help of any subordinate. Therefore the Supreme Lord is known as almighty
- Whenever the Lord descends and acts in this material world, He does so in His spiritual position. Although His activities materially appear different, spiritually they are absolute and nondifferent
- While offering himself as a fully surrendered soul, he said, "My mind, my household affairs, my body, whatever is in my possession, my dear Lord, I offer to You for Your service. Now You can do with them as You like"
- Why should someone be accepted as God without displaying extraordinary potency by doing something never to be done by any common man
- Why Vedic knowledge is perfect? Because it is spoken by God. God is perfect, and whatever He speaks, that is perfect. Therefore God is called "God is good." All-good. Whatever He does, whatever He speaks, everything is good, perfect
Y
- Yogesvara is the SP of Godhead, the master of all mystic yoga, who can do anything and everything He likes. This is the omnipotence of the Supreme Lord. For one who pleases the Supreme Lord, no achievement is wonderful. Everything is possible for him
- You (Lord Narayana) are one without a second, and therefore in You contradictions like doing and not doing, happiness and distress, are not contradictory. Your potency is so great that it can do and undo anything as You like
