- Although there are many expansions, Lord Sri Krsna is the origin, as confirmed in Brahma-samhita. He is like the original candle from which many thousands and millions of candles are lit

- The Lord is all-pervading by the expansion of His partial representation, the Supersoul, who enters into everything that is. BG 1972 purports
- The Lord is situated as Himself, Lord Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and He is accompanied by His expansions like Lord Rama, Baladeva, Sankarsana, Narayana, Maha-Visnu and so forth
- The luster of His expansive body resembles molten gold. The deep sound of His voice conquers the thundering of newly assembled clouds

- The original ones (calves & boys) were sleeping under the spell of Brahma's mystic power, but the present ones, seen by Brahma, were all immediate expansions of Krsna, or Visnu. Visnu is the expansion of Krsna, so the Visnu forms appeared before Brahma

- The prabhava-prakasa expansions of Lord Krsna are not like the expansions of the sage Saubhari. Had they been so, Narada would not have been astonished to see them
- The prakasa forms are manifested by Lord Krsna for His pastimes, and their features are exactly like His. When Lord Krsna married sixteen thousand queens in Dvaraka, He did so in sixteen thousand prakasa expansions
- The queens were also expansions of His (Krsna's) internal potency, and thus the potent and potencies are perpetually exchanging transcendental pleasures, known as pastimes of the Lord
- The sages (four Kumaras) felt an unprecedented happiness because Vaikuntha was not predominated by an ordinary man. The Vaikuntha planets are predominated by expansions of Krsna, who are differently named as Madhusudana, Madhava, Narayana, Pradyumna, etc
- The separated expansions are the living entities. Although they are expansions of Krsna, they are counted among His different potencies
- The source of these three features is the Narayana in the spiritual sky. He is Your vilasa expansion. Therefore You are the ultimate Narayana

- The word 'atma' refers to all the different Personalities of Godhead. One of them is the Supreme Personality of Godhead Himself, Krsna, and the others are different incarnations or expansions of Krsna
- The word atma also includes all kinds of personalities known as Bhagavan, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. This means that Krsna has unlimited expansions
- There are different grades of forms, known as svamsa and vibhinnamsa. The svamsa expansions, or visnu-tattva, are the Supreme Personality of Godhead, whereas the vibhinnamsa are jiva-tattva, who are part and parcel of the Lord
- There are innumerable self-luminous planets there, and in each one an expansion of Krsna resides. They are four-armed and have innumerable names. They are all persons - they are not impersonal

- There are millions and trillions of living entities. Anantyaya kalpate. The living entities... Sa ca anantyaya kalpate. So Krsna's expansion is also ananta
- There are other unlimited expansions of the forms of Krsna, but even when they are divided or expanded without limit, they are still one and the same. There is no difference between one form and another. That is the absolute nature of the Supreme PG
- There are so many thousands and millions of expansion, svamsa, personal self and separated self. We are also Krsna's part-and parcel-expansion; therefore we have got intimate relationship with Krsna
- There are some instances of great mystics' also expanding their bodily features in different ways, but Krsna did not expand Himself by any yoga process. Each expansion of Krsna was a separate individual
- There are two kinds of devotional activity - spontaneous and regulative. By spontaneous devotional service, one attains the original Personality of Godhead, Krsna, and by the regulative process one attains the expansion of the S P of Godhead

- There are two processes by which one may receive knowledge: One depends upon the SPG, who is situated as the Supersoul within the heart of all living entities, and the other depends upon the guru or spiritual master, who is an expansion of Krsna
- There is no end to the expansions and incarnations of Krsna. Lord Caitanya explains some of them to Sanatana just to give him an idea of how the Lord expands and enjoys
- These (Vasudeva, Sankarsana, Pradyumna and Aniruddha) expansions are the original Deities for all other truths, namely either visnu-tattva or sakti-tattvas
- These are described in the Srimad-Bhagavatam to be as numerous as the uncountable waves. So Krsna includes all such expansions, as well as His pure devotees
- These are the principal manifestations and expansions of the Personality of Godhead and His three energies. They are all emanations from Sri Krsna, the Transcendence. They have their existence in Him
- These cowherd boys were but expansions of Krsna's personal self (ananda-cinmaya-rasa-pratibhavitabhih (BS 5.37)). Later Krsna would show Brahma how He expands Himself into everything as His personal pleasure, ananda-cinmaya-rasa
