- A person who sees one spirit soul in every living being, whether a demigod, human being, animal, bird, beast, aquatic or plant, possesses knowledge in the mode of goodness. BG 1972 purports
- According to change of body, we are not only going through the evolutionary process of different types of body, as we have got experience here - the aquatics, the trees, the plants, the insect, the birds, the beast, then a human being

- Either an animal or a man or a superman or an aquatic or a tree or a plant - any living entity - what is the ultimate stand? The ultimate stand is consciousness. The animal body is animal body so long there is consciousness
- Even in simply drinking water we kill many tiny aquatic creatures. We kill many such living entities merely by cleaning our homes or when eating & sleeping. In sum, we cannot avoid all the sins we incur, even unconsciously, in the ordinary course of life
- Every living entity is part and parcel spirit soul, but in contact with Maya it has developed different types of consciousness, represented by varieties of bodies, beginning from the aquatics and going to the bodies of demigods in higher planets
- Every one of them (Brahma, Siva, Visnu, Narada and other powerful demigods, men, supermen, sages, rsis, dead bodies, satans, evil spirits, jinn, aquatics, birds and beasts) possesses only a fragment of the great potencies of the Supreme Lord

- Of the many-hooded Nagas I am Ananta, and among the aquatics I am the demigod Varuna. Of departed ancestors I am Aryama, and among the dispensers of law I am Yama, the lord of death

- Sometimes He leaves instructions like those of Bhagavad-gita. Krsna's incarnation appears everywhere, and He appears among animals, men, sages, and even aquatics (tiryan-naradisu yadahsu (SB 1.2.34)). For example, Krsna even appeared as a fish incarnation

- This human form of life, it is just like via media. By evolution we have come to this human form of life from lower animals, beginning from aquatics. It is a long list. There are 900,000 forms of aquatics
- This mastership competition is going on life after life, sometimes as human being, sometimes as animal, sometimes as fish, aquatics, sometimes as demigod, bird. This is the whole material situation
