- A devotee absorbed in ecstatic emotion for Krsna always resides in a place where Krsna's pastimes were performed
- A pure devotee carries Krsna within his heart, therefore wherever he goes he makes a holy place
- A pure devotee of Lord Krsna resides in the district of Mathura or Vrndavana and visits all the places where Krsna's pastimes were performed
- Absolute - means that Krsna's name, form, place, dress, pastimes and everything are nondifferent from Him. Krsna is present in His name, but because we have no love for Him, we cannot see Him
- Advanced devotees prefer to reside at Radha-kunda because this place is the site of many memories of the eternal loving affairs between Krsna and Radharani
- After offering Him a nice place to sit, she (Kubja) worshiped Lord Krsna in a manner just suitable to her position
- After seeing the places of Lord Krsna's pastimes, Sri Caitanya went to Sesasayi, where He saw Laksmi and recited the following verse - from SB 10.31.19
- After staying at Mathura for one month, the Gopala Deity returned to His own place, and Sri Rupa Gosvami returned to Vrndavana
- After this incident (of Trnavarta trying to kill Krsna), Vasudeva asked his family priest, Garga Muni, to visit the place of Nanda Maharaja in order to astrologically calculate the future life of Krsna
- Akrura continued, "I offer my respectful obeisances unto You (krsna) because You are Vasudeva, the resting place of all creation. You are the all-pervading Supreme Personality of Godhead"
- Akrura was warmly received by Lord Krsna and Nanda Maharaja and offered a resting place for the night. In the meantime, the two brothers Balarama and Krsna went to take Their supper
- All of these sakha friends of Krsna sought only to serve Him. Sometimes some of them would rise early in the morning and immediately go to Krsna's place and wait at the door to see Krsna and to accompany Him to the pasturing grounds
- Although a Vaisnava is the most exalted person, he is prideless and gives all respect to everyone, knowing everyone to be the resting place of Krsna
- As soon as Caitanya Mahaprabhu heard this stanza (My (Radharani's) feeling is like this: My mind burns day and night, and I can get no rest. If there were someplace I could go to meet Krsna, I would immediately fly there), His mind went to pieces
- At these sacred places Krsna displayed His childhood activities with the cowherd boys and Mother Yasoda
- Attraction for Living in a Place Where Krsna Has His Pastimes
F
- For less intelligent men there must be such things as temples, mosques or churches so that they may begin to recognize the authority of the Lord (Krsna) and hear about Him from authorities in such holy places
- From revealed scriptures it is understood that Krsna lives in three transcendental places. The most confidential residence of Krsna is Goloka Vrndavana
H
- He (Krsna) exists at all times and at every place, but by His causeless mercy when He appears before us we take it for granted that He has taken His birth
- He (Lord Caitanya) also teaches that the place known as Vrndavana is as good as Lord Krsna because, Lord Krsna being the Absolute Truth, there is no difference between Him and His name, qualities, form, pastimes, entourage and paraphernalia - CC Preface
- He (Lord Krsna) is residing even within the atom. But still He has got special residential places like Vrndavana, Dvaraka, Mathura. So a devotee is anxious to live in those places
- He engaged his eyes in seeing the Deity of Krsna, Krsna's temples and Krsna's places like Mathura and Vrndavana, he engaged his sense of touch in touching the bodies of the Lord's devotees
- He has special places of residence like Vrndavana, Dvaraka and Mathura; therefore a devotee is anxious to live in those places
I
- I prayed simply Krsna, "My dear Krsna, anyway, You have come here (to Juhu). You have sat down here. It will be great insult if You are removed from this place." So Krsna heard it, and we won the battle. Now the land is ours
- If we are serious of being transferred to the place where Krsna is, then we have to train up the mind so nicely that at the time of death I can remember Krsna
- In this place Lord Krsna broke the cart in which the Sakatasura demon was concealed
- It (our body) must be kept very carefully, without any neglect. Just like you are taking care of the temple because it is Krsna's place. Similarly, we should not take overcare, but some care we should take so that we may not fall diseased
- It is not that because Krsna is in one place, He cannot be in others. Since we are conditioned, when we sit in our office we cannot be at home. Krsna is not like this
K
- Krsna comes personally on this planet to show His enjoyment life in Vrndavana - that place is Vrndavana; therefore Vrndavana is so important - to invite us that, Why you are rotting here? Come with Me and join with My dance
- Krsna comes to canvass the conditioned soul that, "For eternal happiness, for eternal dealings, you come to Me in My eternal place." Yad gatva na nivartante tad dhama paramam mama - BG 15.6
- Krsna has a bluish complexion, a peacock feather on His head, a gunja garland and the decorations of a cowherd boy. His body is curved in three places, and He holds a flute to His mouth
- Krsna is everywhere, but because we have got now our limited knowledge - we are not advanced - therefore we take a spot, the temple, and always think of Krsna, that - This is Krsna's place. This is Krsna's temple. We must take care of it
- Krsna is the Supersoul of all living creatures, so He could understand the mind of Satya. He was also very much pleased with the respectful worship of the King in offering Him a sitting place, eatables, a residence and so on
- Krsna lives sometimes in Mathura and sometimes in Dvaraka, but Mathura is considered the better place. This is also confirmed by Rupa Gosvami in his Upadesamrta (9) - Madhu-puri, or Mathura, is far superior to the Vaikunthalokas in the spiritual world
- Krsna's pastimes are performed in the three abodes Dvaraka, Mathura and Gokula. When Krsna descends to this universe, He enjoys the pastimes in places of the same name
- Krsna's smile, the fragrance of His transcendental body, His flute, bugle, ankle bells and conchshell, the marks on His feet, His place of residence all awaken the symptoms of ecstatic love

- On His (Krsna) journey through these provinces He was welcomed, worshiped and given various presentations. In the evening, in all places, the Lord suspended His journey to perform evening rites. This was regularly observed after sunset
- Only in these three places (Dvaraka, Mathura and Gokula) does the all-sporting Lord Krsna perform His endless pastimes with His personal associates
R
- Reaching the gate of Dvaraka, the brahmana informed the doorkeeper of his arrival, and the doorkeeper led him to the place where Krsna was sitting on a golden throne
- Rupa Gosvami describes the characteristics of a person who has actually developed his ecstatic love for Krsna. The characteristics are as follows: (9) He is very pleased to live in a place where the Lord's pastimes are performed
S
- Simply by knowing by historical fact that Krsna is born in such-and-such date, in such-and-such place, in such-and-such family, activity . . . but no. One has to learn that in tattvatah, in truth. Then he becomes free from this bodily entanglement
- Since the Lord is all-perfect in Himself, there could not be any question of His welfare, and Maharaja Yudhisthira refrained from asking this question. He simply inquired about His residential place, Dvaraka Puri, where pious men assemble
- Sisupala continued, "He (Krsna) has constructed a fort within the water and is living in a place where there is no discussion of Vedic knowledge. And whenever He comes out of the fort, He simply harasses the citizens like a dacoit, thief or rogue"
- Some things which give stimulation to ecstatic love of Krsna are His footprints, His place of pastimes (such as Vrndavana), His favorite plant (tulasi), His devotee and the periodical occasions for remembering Him
- Sometimes it is found in places like Vrndavana that a person with a slight devotional attitude of neutral love for Krsna may immediately and artificially try to attain to the platform of conjugal love
- Sometimes Krsna would go to a somewhat distant place to see the beauty of the forest. Then all the other boys would run to accompany Him, each one saying, "I shall be the first to run and touch Krsna! I shall touch Krsna first!" - SB 10.12.6
- Sri Bhagavan is not alone. He is not only localized, but is everywhere. Although Krsna has a particular place, He is everywhere
- Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu asked Raghupati Upadhyaya which form was the best of Lord Krsna's millions of forms, and he immediately replied that the supreme form was the Syamasundara form. In that form, Krsna stands curved in three places and holds His flute
- Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu then visited Srivana and Lohavana. He then went to Mahavana and saw Gokula, the place of Lord Krsna’s early childhood pastimes
- Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu washed and cleansed the Gundica temple with His devotees and associates. In this way He made it as cool and bright as His own heart, and thus He made the temple a befitting place for Lord Sri Krsna to sit
- Such eternal vayasyas are also found beyond the jurisdiction of Vrndavana, in places such as Dvaraka and Hastinapura. Except for Vrndavana, all the places of Krsna's pastimes are called puras
T
- Take away Krsna's sitting place and put it aside. Then give Me prasadam on a different plate
- The gopi associates of Krsna who assembled in the place where Krsna was appearing were from different groups. Most of the gopis were eternal companions of Krsna
- The gopis became tired after long singing & dancing. Krsna was dancing beside them, & to alleviate their fatigue they took Sri Krsna’s hand & placed it on their raised breasts
- The gopis said, "He (Krsna) has taken Her along with Him. Dear friends, just imagine how the dust of this place is transcendentally glorious"
- The gopis were so much attracted to Krsna that when they heard the vibration of His flute they instantly left their homes, families, children, honor and feminine bashfulness and ran toward the place where Krsna was standing
- The heart of a brahmana is by nature very clean; therefore it is a proper place for Krsna to sit
- The ideal place to execute Krsna consciousness is Vrajabhumi, or Vrndavana, where the people are naturally inclined to love Krsna and Krsna is naturally inclined to love them
- The little brahmana wanted to show his prowess in destruction, and he had the audacity to punish such a great king as Maharaja Pariksit. He wanted to take the place of Lord Krsna after His departure
- The Lord appears in a particular family or place by His inconceivable potency. He does not take His birth as a conditioned soul quits his body and accepts another body
- The Lord confirms in the Bhagavad-gita, "My supreme abode is a transcendental place from which, having gone, one never returns to this material world"
- The Lord could understand that the quarrel between the doormen (Jaya and Vijaya) and the sages (four Kumaras) was taking a different turn, and therefore He instantly came out of His place and went to the spot to stop further aggravation
- The madhyama-adhikari also has a special taste for chanting the Hare Krsna mantra. He is also very anxious to live in places like Vrndavana, Dvaraka and Mathura, places where Krsna lived
- The philosophy of Lord Caitanya is that Krsna is the only object of worship. And as Krsna is object of worship, similarly, His place, Vrndavana, Vrndavana-dhama
- The sixty-four regulative principles (of devotional service) are as follows: (7) To live in a place where Krsna is present - a city like Vrndavana or Mathura, or a Krsna temple
- The Svetadvipa in the abode of Krsna is identical with Vrndavana-dhama, which is the place where Krsna appears Himself to display His loving pastimes
- There (in Krsna-sandarbha) are also descriptions of the Goloka planet, Vrndavana - the eternal place of Krsna, the identity of Goloka and Vrndavana, the Yadavas and the cowherd boys - both eternal associates of Krsna
- These (punishing Maharaja Pariksit) are the principal signs of upstarts who want to take the place of Sri Krsna under the influence of the age of Kali. An upstart with a little power wants to become an incarnation of the Lord
- These places (Dvaraka, Mathura and Gokula) on earth are nondifferent from those original abodes, for they are facsimiles of those original holy places in the transcendental world. They are as good as Sri Krsna Himself and are equally worshipable
- These places (Vrndavana, Mathura and Dvaraka) are perpetually sanctified because whenever the Lord descends on earth He displays His transcendental activities particularly in these three places
- These three places are full of internal potencies, and Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, is their sole proprietor
- This boy (Krsna) has a reddish luster in seven places - His eyes, the ends of His hands, the ends of His legs, His palate, His lips, His tongue and His nails. A reddish luster in these seven places is considered to be auspicious
- This is a verse (CC Adi-lila 5.22) from the Brahma-samhita (BS 5.38). This description of the abode of Krsna gives us definite information of the transcendental place
- This is the middle meaning. Now please hear the confidential meaning. Lord Krsna has three places of residence, which are well known from the revealed scriptures
- This material world is garbage. And still, we live so comfortably. Now just imagine what is His dhama. It is the garbage tank, still so nice. And just think what is His real place, Goloka Vrndavana
- This understanding is wanted. Krsna is eternal, we are eternal, and the place where we will live with Him and exchange our feelings - that is eternal
- This Vrndavana is replica of that Vrndavana. When Krsna comes on this planet, he comes here in this Vrndavana land. Therefore, it is transcendental, because it is Krsna's pastime, pastimeous place. Therefore it is transcendental

- Vasudeva said, "You (Krsna and Balarama) are the resting place of this cosmic manifestation. You are its creator, and You are also its creative ingredients"
- Vrndavana is the transcendental place where Krsna enjoys His eternal pastimes as a boy, and it is considered the topmost sphere in all existence
- Vrndavana-dhama is nondifferent from the Lord because the name, fame, form and place where the Lord manifests Himself are all identical with the Lord as absolute knowledge
W
- We have heard about His (Krsna's) dhama, or place, eternal Goloka Vrndavana, but there are many scholars who interpret this abode in different ways
- We must be so careful to train the devotees nicely. Now they have come from the realm of maya to Krsna's place, so it is our duty to keep them there
- We should also increase our inclination to live in a place where Krsna lives - pritis tad-vasati-sthale
- When Krsna and Balarama, with the strength of Their legs, crawled in the muddy places created in Vraja by cow dung and cow urine, Their crawling resembled the crawling of serpents, and the sound of Their ankle bells was very charming - SB 10.8.22
- When they (ladies) saw that Krsna was going away from the palace for His native place, they were very anxious for Him, and as usual tears began to roll down their cheeks
