- Sometimes, being defeated or plundered by a superior, powerful agent, a living entity loses all his possessions. He then becomes very morose, and lamenting their loss, he sometimes becomes unconscious
- Stealing or cheating another person out of his money, the conditioned soul somehow or other keeps it in his possession and escapes punishment. Then another man, named Devadatta, cheats him and takes the money away
- Study on this finger, and if you think, "I am this finger"? no, you'll come to the conclusion, "It is my finger." Any part of your body you study; you'll never agree that, "I am this." It is - I am in possession of this
